Account staying signed in when I have signed out.

So, I have two Skype accounts; one was for streaming while the other was for watching the stream as it came so I wasn't ahead of everyone else in the call. But, so, recently; I decided to stop using one of them and only have one since I don't stream anymore but my original Skype account is now constantly logged in and I'm not sure on what device as I signed out of all devices I own. What makes me think it's been compromised is it was on Online so I messaged it but then it went from Online to Do Not Disturb and now I'm all sorts of freaked out.
Is there anything I can do? Is there a way of signing out of all devices? Because I tried changing my password so it'd log out of all devices and it did log out for about half an hour before it logged back in even with the new password.
So, I guess my question is; is there a way to check what IPs it's been logged in from recently or to even just close the account all together?

You can't create an iCloud account on a PC. What is the exact error message you are seeing?

That Apple ID is stored inside those applications. Leave them as is and ask your friend to do the updating.

How do i remove an icloud account without signing out

I was wondering how to remove an old icloud account. I have an iphone 4s, (ios 8.1.3). a pop up keeps coming up saying to sign into your icloud account, but it is under an old email that has been deactivated for years. I have a new icloud account, but I dont know how to sign into it on my device, because when i open icloud on my device, it says "sign into ********* and everything is grey (unclickable), including the Sign Out button at the bottom. I have no idea what to do now. please help

There is no way if Find my iPhone is turned on. You must know the Apple ID and password. This is Activation Lock, an antitheft feature of iOS 7. See: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5818

Firefox allows access to password protected site even when I have logged out?

I have developed a website with password protected pages - but Firefox STILL allows access to the protected pages after I have logged out and even if I close and re-open Firefox?
I have cleared the cache and checked 'Do not remember passwords' IE works OK??

ICloud won't stay signed out and other fun stuff

Okay so I am on a MacBook Pro using Yosemite and my machine has several problems. The first is that my iCloud will not correctly sign in. When going to Preferences>iCloud the screen is greyed out and I can not change any settings. As prompted at the top of the screen I enter my password to verify my id. I do this and press enter and nothing happens. I have then tried logging out, which seems successful at first, but if i try to log back in it says 'Can not log back in at this time'. If I then leave system preference and reopen it and go back to iCloud settings, I find that some how i am now logged in and the problem restarts with the greyed out screen.
The next problem is that when ever I restart my computer certain applications, when opened, return to where they were a couple of months ago. If I open safari several tabs reopen, and if I open lock lizard (a pdf viewer) certain documents open. Applications that i have removed from my dock even reappear in the dock. It is as if my hole computer jumps back to a certain point several months ago every time I restart my computer.
So these are the problems I am having, and so far the great google has not helped me. I hope I have not be vague.

1. Shut down Mail. Next, deselect "iCloud Mail" in the iCloud preferences pane in System Preferences FIRST. If not, it will automatically pre-populate the wrong p9X.mail.me.com server names again overwriting all your work.
2. Now restart Mail and go to preferences. If "iCloud" mail is still showing, select it and click on the "-" at the bottom to remove it.
3. Now follow the instructions here:http://www.wilmut.webspace.virginmedia.com/notes/icloudmail.html (disregard that this is for Snow Leopard, it DOES work on Lion) paying attention to the use of the "option" key when needed to avoid Mail automatically "creating" the account and closing out the preferences window.
4. Ensure the correct server names of "imap.mail.me.com and smtp.mail.me.com" are still there and close Mail preferences and now select "get mail". It may prompt one last time for your iCloud password, enter it and you are done.

I have been forced to change my email address and it has been de-provisioned by the ISP. I am trying to setup my ICloud access and I am being asked to verify my new Apple ID using the defunct address which no longer works!

Why can someone access my emails on my iPad even when I have logged out?

Hi when I log into my email account with bt - I read my emails and log out. If I then pass my ipad to my friend he logs into his email with bt also. If he then clicks on mail it takes him straight to my emails and he can't access his own, regardless of how many attempts he makes logging in and out.

How to connect Apple TV when I have run out of HDMI Ports?

I have a Sony Bravia TV with 3 HDMI Ports - in those I have connected:
- Sony Home Theater Surround Sound
- Playstation
- Sky Digital TV HD Box
Is there a way to connect Apple TV without disconnecting any of the above? (and without buying a new TV with 4 HDMI ports!)

lkrupp is correct, the only soution is to add what's called an HDMI switch to your setup. The HDMI switch normally has 2, 4, 6, or 8 HDMI inputs and one output. The output goes to your display. You then select which input you want to choose.In your case, you can do one of two things:
Connect all your sources to the HDMI switch. You then select sources via the HDMI switch and you no longer need to change HDMI inputs on your TV.
Disconnect one of the HDMI sources you have (let's say it's the Playstation) and plug both the Playstation and the APPLE TV into the switch. In this setup you need to change the input on both the TV and the HDMI switcher.
The simplest setup in your case is to buy a 4 or 8 port HDMI switch and put all your devices on the switch. If you are looking for inexpensive HDMI switches, you need to look at Monoprice. The stuff is all manufactured overseas and can be hit or miss but it's the cheapest that you'll find. If you feel like you need some guidance and help, then try www.hdtvsupply.com. They have a good selection and great support.

I understand that you have an iPhone from your friend that is still associated with their iCloud account. You will need to disassociate the iPhone from your friend’s iCloud account in order to resolve your issues:

HT1311 I've tried this solution multiple times but my old account still shows up in the app store and there's no way to sign out from there.

So for some reason my old iTunes account appears in my app store when trying to update my apps, and of course Apple won't let me update apps unless I sign in.
Unfortunately there's no way to change accounts on the iphone. The account that appears in my settings tab is the right account, and signing out from that account and re-signing in has no impact on the app store account.

What version of iOS do you have on your device?
In iOS 6 if your iPhone is signed in to your Apple ID you will not be asked for a password to update apps. Apps purchased with are virus ID will require that Apple ID and a Password.
Seems best to use one and only one Apple ID on a device.

Getting Signed out of Skype when using Messenger i...

I am not sure what triggers this exactly, but navigating through OneDrive website would sometimes sign me out of the Skype for Windows Desktop client (running in Windows 7, version 6.14).
It seems to be involved with opening and closing the Messenger pane in OneDrive. If I open the Messenger pane, it signs into my Skype account (resulting in my Skype account being signed in to two places). After I close the pane, some time later, my Skype desktop client gets signed out.
Even if my account is signed out in the Messenger pane of OneDrive, I expect my Skype desktop client to remain signed in. When I sign in and out of my Android client, I do not experience any sign outs or problems with the desktop client, which is the correct behavior.
Is this problem new or well-known?

Signing out from the Cloud?

In CC Preferences|Account here is an option to sign out from the Creative Cloud. What happens? Is it permanent? Does it restart upon re-boot?

You can sign out, and you can sign back in. If you stay signed out, it might be a problem when the Adobe bot comes by to check your subscription (not sure), so staying signed in is probably the best policy.
Signing out allows you to install the CC apps on a second computer. But I haven't tried that yet.

Icloud sign out on my ipad

Someone else is signed into icloud on my ipad. It won't let me sign them out because "Find My Ipad" is turned on. It keeps asking me to put in the password of the icloud account to sign out. I do not have it, and can not get it. How can I sign out?

You have no recoursE unless you can get the other party to sign out.
INcidentally, it would appear that the other party changed the password.

I work as a lab assistant in my uni's Mac Lab. Often when there's not a project due the next day, there's not too many people here. I sometimes pass the time with iChat. When I sat down tonight, I opened iChat 2.1 and changed status to available. I'm online now without needing to input my password or even username. How do I sign out of this when I leave so that no one can sign back on and pretend to be me? I can't seem to find a preference to turn off this auto-login.
I cleared my password out of the preferences, but it signs in anyway and puts it back. I made sure "remember my password" was not checked the last time I was presented with the password dialog so I don't know what's up.

You need to delete your iChat password from your "Keychain".
If you need help, search
b Finder > Help > Mac Help
for the word "keychain" (without the quotation marks.)
