HT1311 I've tried this solution multiple times but my old account still shows up in the app store and there's no way to sign out from there.
So for some reason my old iTunes account appears in my app store when trying to update my apps, and of course Apple won't let me update apps unless I sign in.
Unfortunately there's no way to change accounts on the iphone. The account that appears in my settings tab is the right account, and signing out from that account and re-signing in has no impact on the app store account.
What version of iOS do you have on your device?
In iOS 6 if your iPhone is signed in to your Apple ID you will not be asked for a password to update apps. Apps purchased with are virus ID will require that Apple ID and a Password.
Seems best to use one and only one Apple ID on a device.

How do I upgrade the iOs on my ipad1 to version5? I've tried through itunes many times, but I get a message that says that the download was interrupted and i should try again later. Can i download the iOS file to my PC and transfer it to the ipad? How should I do that?

I have purchased an app from the app store and cannot seem to download it, the download statrs and then rapidly cuts out, it will not complete and seems to repeatedly go over the same few Mb. I have previously downloaded large files and not had a problem with them.
I have tried restarting, checked my hard disk (and repaired a sector of the disk) and checked my connection but this seems to have no effect. I have also disabled virus protection and my firewall to see if this has an effect. I have also downloaded other (free) applications to test it since then and some of these download but not the larger ones. Has anybody else encountered this? Does anyone know how to solve it?Can you download large files from other places apart from the App store, wondering if it is the App store or your internet connection.

I downloaded this free music downloader app in the App Store and I downloaded music but, every time a song ends it doesn't switch to the next song!!Whys that??
Go back to the App Store app and find the app you're having problems with. Then look in the description for the contact info for the developer. You might also find an email link within the settings of the app. Contact the developer to find out if they are working on this issue.

Today I tried downloading an app from the App Store and after entering my Apple ID it says this Apple ID Connor be used In The iTunes Store please use another Apple ID. Weird since I am in the App Store sombody help
I have the same issue. I try to download an app from the App store on my iPhone 5, and just says that I can not use that user ID to purchase from iTunes. I saw a couple of threads that this might be an apple issue? Not sure though.

I need help please. I have 6 apps updates shown on on the upper right corner of the app store icon. When i tried to open the apps store and go to updates, the apps that need to be updated were not appearing therefore i have no idea what those apps are so that i can update them. My mum set up an iCloud account for my iPhone 4 but forgot the password. This caused me to create a new account, and it can be used for the App Store and iTunes and all that, but I can't change the initial iCloud account (the one my mum made). My device keeps prompting me for the password every few minutes after updating to iOS 8, and I've tried every option possible to retrieve the password, but I don't even know the answers to the security questions and I can't find the password reset email anywhere and I don't know the back up emails my mum used. I literally cannot find any legitimate way to sign out of the initial iCloud account without entering a password (which neither I nor my parents know). Is there a way for me to retreive the password or change to my new account without the password?

Not sure what happened but after I downloaded iOS 6 to my iPod touch 4th gen i was unable to use the app store and go on certain websites like yahoo.com, cracked.com and other websites I ussually visit. On top of that the yahoo weather app does not update and always says it fails. I just restored my ipos and nothing changed. Does anyone have an idea of whats going on here?

This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

Skip the iCloud sign in for now.
Once you reach the home page, go to settings and sign out of FaceTime and Messages. This should also sign you out of iCloud.
Go to iCloud in settings and sign in with the correct Apple ID.
If that does not work
Skip the iCloud sign in
Go to Apple ID.apple.com and sign in
Change your Apple ID to the old one
Delete iCloud account on your device with the old Apple ID and the same password.
Go back to the website, change your Apple ID back to the current one. You will receive an email to verify the account. Verify first.
Sign into iCloud on your device with the correct Apple ID and password -

This error message could result from an incorrect setting for date and time, or an operating system which does not have the latest updates installed. It's a good idea to have your location setting on automatic. Turn on the wi fi in your mac for a minute or so, to allow it to automatically search for your present location. Do this even though you have the correct time Date settings displayed.

i cannot get apps from the itunes store and there is a message that this apple id has not been used with the itunes store
I have the same problem and when I review my account and enter my cc info it tells me "Your request is temporarily unable to be processed. Please try again later." and this is day 5 of trying again later. What the **** is the prob? It isn't the card bc it has plenty of $$$ on it.
