Accruals in condition type

Hi,
I have a condition type in a PO where the "accruals" tick box is ticked. I am not able to settle this through MIRO.
Can you please explain me the business scenario to pay this condition type.
Regards,
Vijay

I am not sure where you are talking on Accural on P.O ,
Basically :
Account key - accruals / provisions
Key which identifies various types of G/L accounts for accruals or provisions.
Use
With the aid of the account key, the system can post amounts to certain types of accruals accounts. For example, rebate accruals which are calculated from pricing conditions can be posted to the corresponding account for rebate accruals.
Account key for Accrual is maintained in Pricing / tax procedure ( Transaction code M/08 or OBQ3) for relevant Condition type.
You have to define the Transaction /Event Key
SPRO > Materials Management > Purchasing > Conditions > Define Price Determination Process > Define Transactions / Event Keys .

  • Condition types accruals

    Hi gurus,
I am thinking if following requirement is possible:
Condition types are not marked as accruals. ( Since these condition types will be the basis of tax calculation)
Post the amount of these condition types to dedicated G/L account other than material when posting GR.
I have made some tests, but failed.
If I did not mark the condition types as accruals ones, it was posted as material cost although I maintained account key when I define the calculation schema.
If I marked them as accruals ones, then they would not be the basis of tax calculation.
    Any ideas on this requirements?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
    Thanks.
My question now is how I can maintain the freight condition as basis of tax calculation. As suggested in the thread, I have maintain the condition in pricing procedure with subtotal "4" , however it would not be picked when calculate tax.
ie, basic amount is 100, freight cost is 10, and the tax rate is 10%
I need to calculate the tax as (100+10)*10% = 11
I have created a new condition type :
Cond. class   A Discount or surcharge
    Calculat.type B Fixed amount
    Cond.category B Delivery costs
    Accruals ticked
assign it to the pricing procedure with subtotal as "4"  and statistic unticked
Then I created a PO, the tax only calculated as 10 while not 11 although the Net incl. disc shows as 110.
Am I wrong for some points?

  • Accrual condition types

    Dear All
A development is proposed for triggering a credit note as soon as billing document is posted. (seperate condition type use in the billing doc)
can we  achieve this by using standard SD pricing procedure steps and accrual condition types?
    Thanks,
Moderator message: please ask this in the ERP SD forums.

    Hi,
    Account key
Account key is mainly used for Frieghts.Account key enables amount to post to certain revenue accounts, for example freight charges. When you add freight related condition types, it will be added to separate G/L accounts, means this will not be added to material price.
    Accruals key:
Accruals mean accumulating, with the addition of the account key, the system can post amounts to certain types of accruals accounts. For example, rebate accruals which are calculated from pricing conditions can be posted to the corresponding account for rebate accruals.

  • Accrual Account Key change for Condition type

We have different Condition types assigned to Account Keys
    Example:
         Condit Type Account Key  Accrual
           FMA1               ZPP               ZP2
           FMA2               ZPP               ZP2
           FMA3               ZPP               ZP2
I need to change GL account for FMA2 Condition type. I only need to change for accruals on FMA2. Please let me know how I can do it in "Prepare Revenue Accounts and change GL in VKOA.
Your help is appreciated. Let me know if need any further information.
    Thanks

    hi..
If the accrual is ticked in condition type in M/06, it should have an account key assigned to the condition type in the pricing procedure in M/08.
Go to your contion type ZPFV and check whether you have checked Accrual or not..
then go to ur pricing procedure ZUELOC and check the last two colums for your condito type i.e. Account Key and Accrual Key.
    Maintain these..
    try this if it works.
    Thanks...

  • MIGO - Accounting - Condition type for Mark up posting to Inventory account

    Hi All,
We have a requirement for posting intercompany Stock transfer between Company A and B, and the transfer price will be Moving Average Price (say $ 100) + Mark up (say 25% i.e., 25) of supplying plant.
Created a new PO pricing procedure, and created a new Accrual condition type ZMRK for markup and made it statistical posting. Also in the pricing procedure the Condition type we assigned an Account key ZM1 and Accrual Key ZMA. we tried posting the Goods receipts in the receiving Company B, and it is posting the following entry :
Invetory A/C                 DR         125               (note: Account key ZM1 was not considered for debit account for markup)
    GR/IR     A/C                          CR      100
    Markup Accrual   A/C             CR        25
REQUIREMENT: Our requirement is that the Mark-UP condition should not hit Inventory Account and should be debited to I/C Mark Up account  (assigned to Account key ZM1) and entry should be as below:
    Inventory A/C           DR         100
    Markup  A/C            DR           25
GR/IR     A/C                  CR            125 (accrual is not required, if we can include the markup into GR/IR account)
    OR
    Inventory A/C        DR       100
    Markup      A/C        DR         25
    GR/IR         A/C               CR       100
    Markup Accrual A/C       CR         25
NOTE: The Material is maintained as Moving Average Price and we dont want to add the Mark Up cost into the MAP of the receiving plant.
Please check and let me know if there is a way to do a condition type in PO pricing procedure to solve the issue of not hitting the inventory posting for condition record or any other way to handle this requirement.
    Thanks in advance,
    Surya

If you dont want the mark up to come in invoice separately, why do you want it to hit a GR / IR account? ( in short why use del cost condition )
If hitting gr / ir is not a requirement and you just need to acrue it, try the following
    PB00 to take 100
create 2 conditions one positve and one negative ( accrual, without condition category ) to take the value 10
the + and - will cancel in the inventory account; you can accrue to different accrual accounts

  • Condition Type for Rebate

    Hello All
I am in the process of configuring the rebate processing in our system...this is my first experience...we are on ECC7.0...I am follwing the Rebate Processing configuration guide but I have a few questions...
    My requirement is the following
Order volume fully paid.... the following will apply
    <$500,000  credit percentage is 3%
    >500,000 and <  credit percentage is 3.75
    etc....
In the condition type configuration under control data I am confused of the calculation type to use and the condition category as well...I am using condition type Material Rebate, but have also added all the condition types related to Rebate...just in case.
There will be no manual payments or partial settlements.  The rebate is due at end of year of all fully paid items.
If there is shipments that are due but will not be during the annual term and it exceeds the lets say 1,000,000 since he credit percentage would be 6% in this case....after the review of the rebate agreement then the discount for  the following year will be set at the appropriate percentage and will begin at $1.
For example if the total sales during this term are 1.2 million the the credit percentage for the following year would be 6% for all the sales the following year beginning at $1...sales for the annual term of 1.2 million would equate to a rebate of 72,000 (6%).
Also, all material that is bought the customer receives a 3% discount on top of the above.
Will I need to also include condtion type groups???
    Your help is GREATLY appreciated!!!

Hi Eric and thanks for your reply ....
If the Rebate is for a certain customer and they are having multiple materials for the rebate and can have channel partners that will also be a ship to party and rebate applies....I am thinking I need to use the 0002 condition type?  Please confirm.
That is the one I have chosen so far....I do not see the rebate condtion type being being pulled through the sales order on the condition tab...it wants to keep pulling in the pricing condtion table for that rebate material....any advice as to what I may have missed....I did follow the config guide...as stated before this is my first experience wit hrebates...
I can understand the invoice showing the accruals but how would I do the scale to know if the customer reaches a certain amount their rebate percentages would be different based on the paid invoice sales...
up to 500,000  paid would be A 3 percent discount
Over 500,000 would be a 3.75 percent discount
This is also on top of the standard 3 percent discount they are given on the material as a customer discount.
    Please advise....your assistance is appreciated

  • We would like to Use the SKTO condition type as Acrual condition

    Hello Experts,
We have a requirement to track the possible cash discounts in discounts bucket, Hence we though that we will use the SKTO condition type as a Accrual condition type and post to Accrual accounts at the time of billing document creation.
While processing the Payment we will clear the bucket with relevant discounts with eligible payment terms.
We are debating and discussing the use of SKTO as a Accrual condition type and start posting GL accounts with it (This means that we are removing the statistical check box from pricing procedure).
In a nutshell our requirement is.
    1. Track the cash discounts in a Accrual bucket.
    2. Relieve the accrual when payment is applied (This will be done in Cash app)
    3. What are the consequences of making this change?
    4. Is there a better way of managing this?
    Thanks
    Sreedhar

    Hi,
Your issue can be solved by CO consultant.
Your CO consultant can generate report from CO-pa documents.(when invoice is released to a/c ,FI and CO documents are generated) and you know SKTO- cash discount amount even if it statistical condition type.
You do not need to change in Pricing procedure for tracking  cash discount.
SKTO is linked wtih payment terms and it is applied accordingly through standard programs.
    thanks,

  • PO Condition type in PO

    Dear All,
I want to create a condition type for delivery costs in PO.
The value which is given in the condition type as to get added to the net value of the PO line item.
    What settings to be done?
    Regards

    HI,
Condition type for Planned delivery cost, like FRA1, FRB1,ect, have Acc. key& Accrual key like FRE, FR1 in PO pricing procedure(calculation schema)
    Deselected the indictor of Statistics.
By doing it will included the deliverycost into the net price by removing Statictis indicator.

  • Post Goods Receipt(PGI) with custom condition types on purchase order(PO)

    Hi all,
I am trying to post goods receipt with custom conditions on the PO. One of the custom conditions is freight (delivery cost). The value on this condition will post to a different G/L account (freight provision account, rather than GR/IR).
My problem is, when posting this GR, the cost center assigned in the PO under 'account assignment' is not used for posting the custom condition, which I really need it to happen.
Simply put, I want all postings from this PO inherit values in 'account assignment'.
I have been looking into configurations in automatic posting and condition types, but I still have no clue where I can make it happen. Do I have to use BADI?
    Thanks.

Delivey cost condition will be posted to accrual accounts not to the cost center.

  • Stastical Condition Type is not working in Purchase Order

    Hi All,
I created a pricing procedure and Bank charges are created as a condition type which is stastical. I assigned a account Key and Accural key for the same condition type. We activated Purchase Account Management
Purchase order is raised with USD 100, ank charges(%) which will be calculated on Base price, for example Bank charges is 1% then bank charges will be USD1.
I want these bank charges should not be added to the material cost. But when we are doing GR accounting entries as below.
    Stock account 101     +
    GR/IR     100     -
    Pur acc     100     +
    Pur Offset     101     -
    Bank chargesAccount key     10 +
    Accural     10     -
In the above Bank Charges are added to Stock account which is not required.
Even though I created the Bank charges Condition type as Statical still the value is adding to  the stock account.
    Thanks and Regards
    durga

    Hi Durga,
Most importantly whenever we create a condition type with statistical check box it means that value will not be included in Net price calculation this is the only purpose of statistical check box.(Like any freight charges it will go to your stock a/c even though statistical check box is there in your Pricing procedure)
When you create condition type for any charges with Cond.category B Delivery costs and Accrual check box in M/06 by default it will go to stock account, but you can restrict that by using a functionality
Check this link for complete process

  • Condition type to be loaded on Material cost after Taxes but shouldn't change Tax base Amount.

Customer requirement is that they want to deduct some amount after the Taxes (after BASB) &t load this amount value after taxes on Material cost  (hence accrual KEY can't  be used). but with the addition of this new condition type (for deduction) it shouldn't change the base amount  for Tax condition type (BASB).
Basic Problem : new condition type value to be load on material (after taxes). but this condition value shouldn't change the Net price of PO(amount in BASB condition of Tax) so that base amount (BASB) of Tax procedure remain unchanged.
(Since it is to be loaded on material hence i cant use account key definitely. Also this cost to be loaded on material after taxes)
    Ex -             PBXX =     100 base price
                     Freight =       20
       Tax base amnt =     120
                   Tax (5%)=          6
                          Total =    126
Other Charges=      10  (this 10 Rs amount in this condition type required to be loaded on material cost, at the same time this condition value shouldn't change the base amount for the Tax (BASB)
Please suggest (purpose is to load the deduction on material cost after Taxes & same time it shouldn't change the  the amount after Tax base calculation)

    Hi,
Your condition type is without acrual flag in M/06. No acrual key is maintained in the MM pricing procedure.
To achieve your requirement, maintain subtotal 6 against the condition type in your MM pricing procedure in M/08.
Maintain the base type calc procedure as 362 against your BASB condition type in tax procedure. Keep the field blank for the tax condition type (VAT or CST / ED etc)
Test the scenario again with a new PO. System will show the condition value in net amount field in PO, but the same wont be copied to BASB in tax procedure. Check the taxes pop up. Check the same and revert back.
Note: Similar requirement (not exact) for acrual conditions are mentioned in my doc: Tax Calculation on Freight - Different Scenarios You may refer it if required.

  • NAVM condition type not getting updated in PO with account assignment K

    Hi Sap Gurus
Pls help me resolving this issue
We had created a PO (K-Acc Assignment) with certain tax percentage (16%) in the past .When we view the PO in display mode we can see the equivalent value of 16% being appearing in NAVM at item level.Further on when we hit the Invoice TAB and try to view the taxes. We can see the net price being updated in BASB condition type, and the equivalent value of 16% being updated in AP1I.
This looks to be perfect but when we again go back to he same PO screen from Tax Screen the value that had intially appeared in NAVM(equivalent of 16 tax%) becomes zero. This happens so for the old PO.
But for new PO nothing is appearing in NAVM condition tab in PO item level, inspite of the fact that some tax percentage has been maintained.Again this tax percentage can be viewed from Invoice TAB and it takes part in the calcualtion updating th AP!I key mentioned earlier.SOme changes have been made in the config due to which all new POs being created now as no value being updated in NAVM tab inspite of maintaining the tax percentage.
All other  std settings have been used.
    Additional info:
In the pricing procedure from FICO side..for the condition type AP1I accrual key NAV is used.
It has the access seq MWST.
    cond class,claculatio type,cond category  for AP1I being: Taxes,percentage,Tax respectively
AP1I is not marked as statistical.
    NAVM has no acess seq.
    cond class,claculatio type,cond category  for AP1I being: Taxes,Fixed amount,Input Tax not deductible(N) respectively.
    NAVM is marked as statistcal
pls give me some leads so as to identify why the value does not appear  in NAVM condition type

system wont generate any controlling document for noted items  downpayment and normal payments.
Because all are balance sheet accounts. Controlling documents will generated for only P&L accounts.
    Your analysis correct.

  • MM Pricing procedure - Condition type post to different GL account in MAP

    Markup Accrual A/C CR 25
REQUIREMENT: Our requirement is that the Mark-UP condition should not hit Inventory Account and should be debited to I/C Mark Up account (assigned to Account key ZM1) and entry should be as below:
    Inventory A/C DR 100
    Markup A/C DR 25
GR/IR A/C CR 125 (accrual is not required, if we can include the markup into GR/IR account)

    Inventory A/C DR 100
    Markup A/C DR 25
    GR/IR A/C CR 100

I am also facing the same issue. Can you pls let me know whether you achieved this using any standard configuration.
