  • Problems acessing a webservice

    Hello,
    I created a web service from a java Bean using the web service cration wizard from netweaver. The deployment is ok, I find my webservice on the web services list in the web services navigator, but when I click on it in order to test it, I got the following exception:
    javax.servlet.UnavailableException: javax.naming.CommunicationException: Can't find SerialContextProvider
    Does anybody know from wher it comes ?
    Thx
    Vincent

    I have sort of the same problem:
    When selecting a service in the WS Navigator the following error occurs:
    Invalid Response Code: (503) Service Unavailable. The requested URL was: ......
    This happens with all Services, the builtin and my custom one.
    Ive read something about "starting a webservice" prior to testing it, is this true? How do i "start" a webservice??
    Any hint?

  • Apache/tomact/jsp/ "save as" popping up.

    Ok, im having a problem and i dont know how to fix it.
    Ive got apache 2 installed with tomcat and mod_jk installed on a dedicated server.
    My websites works fine when i go to http://localhost/xxx ...
    But if i go to the i.p i assigned in httpd.conf under <virtual host> I get a popup that says "open file or save as" whenever i go to a .jsp page.
    Does anyone know why it would prompt me to "save as" when i access a .jsp page through the I.P (html files work fine) and have it work fine under localhost??
    the website is located under c:\tomcat\tomcat-4.1\webapps
    httpd.conf is located under c:\apache\apace2\conf\httpd.conf.
    any help would be great/

    ok, im trying to understand this.
    If i want to acess "myFolder/index.jsp" on the local machine all i have to do is type localhost/myFolder and it goes there. It also goes there if i do localhost:8080/myFolder and even 127.0.0.1/myFolder.
    If i go to the i.p it doesnt work. it either displays the code or it prompts with a "Save as" window.
    Is it possible i have something in my httpd.conf file pointing to port 80 instead of 8080?
    thanks for the help so far.

  • Running Applications in JSP

    I have project that integrates SAS and MS Access.
    I am already able to invoke SAS routines by invoking the "runApp" macro in MS Access. But I would like to web-enable this process, so is there a way to invoke MS Acess macros from JSP? Better yet, is there a way to invoke applications from JSP?
    Thanks for your time.
    Victor

    you can use Runtime class to execute any command
    e.g.
    Runtime.getRuntime().exec("any command");
    see if it works...

  • Regarding How to Register a service in  Service Registry ....?

    Hi All ,
    i have a doubt , hope i may get some answers form the Expert...!
    1) Is there any diffrence between registering a Service in SR and Publishing a Service in SR (SAP PI 7.1)?
    2) If yes, then can some one pls provide with some more info or links where i can search ?
    Thank you in advance,
    Regards,
    Aziz khan...!

    Hi Aziz,
    ServiceRegistry: The Services Registry is a registry for Web services. Located centrally within an SOA landscape, it contains entries for  all services and service definitions in that landscape,with references to the servicesu2019 relevant WSDL metadata and to the locations of the callable service endpoints.
    Publishing: By entering the endpoint WSDL of a service definition that provides a valid URL you can publish service definitions to the Services Registry.
       From the above definitins i dont think there is any difference between Registering and Publishing.Because Registering in UDDI (service registry ) means giving Acess points to a particular service developed and this process of giving acess to webservices in UDDI is nothing but Publishing.who want to consume then they have to acess those endpoints(action points) through  webservices URL
       FYI i have not worked on services on PI7.1 but trying to answer your qurey with little conceptual knolwdge on Webservices in PI7.1.As far as registering the services are concerned please refer the following link and let me see wether its useful in any way ....navigate .

  • XML Purchase order - ESOA

    Hi,
    We are trying to configure service procurement using ESOA.Ideally once a PO is created in my ERP system a corresponding XML PO should be generated for sending it to SUS via XI.
    For this I have activated Business Function LOG_MM_P2P_SE_1 and workflow linkages have been activated for events BUS2012 (Created, Changed, Completed, Released) within workflow definition WS53800008.
    However the XML PO is still not generated. I have also applied the note : 1316245 in ERP system.
    In swi1 T-code of my ERP system I get the following error after I create a PO.
    Error : "Error in a service of application MMPUR"
    Kindly let me know how to resolve this and proceed with sending XML PO to SUS.
    Thanks,
    Nikhil.

    Symptom
    You want to use the new cross scenarios between ERP EhP 4 and 'SRM Server 7.0 delivered with Business Suite 2008:
    creation of SRM RFx from within the ERP Web Dynpro applicattion "Collective processing of Purchase Requisitions (CPPR)
    Central Contract Management (CCM)
    Other terms
    SRM, ERP, CPPR, harmonized roles, Procure-to-Pay, SOAMANAGER, Web Service, Synchronous services, Point-to-point communication
    Reason and Prerequisites
    These cross-scenarios utilize synchronous Enterprise Services for the following reasons:
    Bidder search help (RFx creation): In CPPR the user can already select bidders which will be assigned to the RFx in SRM. These bidders need to be queried from the SRM system. Therefore, the synchronous service operation RFQRequestSUITEAllowedBiddersByIdentifyingElementsQueryResponse_In is introduced.
    Querying pricing information (CCM): While creating the Purchase Order in the ERP system using the central contract as source of supply, ERP queries the SRM Server for the most actual price using the synchronous service operation PurchaseOrderSRMPricingSimulateQueryResponse_In.
    Checking archiving status (CCM): Before archiving the central contract in the SRM server, the status of the distributed contract in the connected ERP systems must be queried by the SRM Server using the synchronous service operation PurchasingContractSRMArchivingCheckQueryResponse_Out.
    Retrieving RFQ Transaction Types from SRM ( RFx Creation ) : In CPPR, user can select any one of the transaction types of RFx which are confired in the SRM system. RFx transaction types will be retrieved using the service interface QueryCodeList ( NameSpace: http://sap.com/xi/BASIS ).
    Rather than using these sychronous service operations mediated via PI, it is recommended to configure them peer-to-peer.
    As a prerequiste you have installed
    SRM Server 7.0
    SAP ERP 6.0 EhP 4 with the resp. Business Function activated
    configured the Central Contract Management and Sourcing scenarios according to documentation available in Solution Manager
    installed all required business packages as mentioned in note 1232945
    This note deals with the delta information how to enable the synchronous peer-to-peer communication for the service operations mentioned above.
    Solution
    Synchronous services are no longer maintained using the transaction LP_CONFIG, WSADMIN, but the new SOAMANAGER. For more details about the SOAMANAGER please refer to: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/EN/b0/787748cf3a4200bb1ba32a62aa8519/frameset.htm.
    Configuration on both the provider and consumer side for synchronous service operations must be done. For:
    RFQRequestSUITEAllowedBiddersByIdentifyingElementsQueryResponse_In: SRM Server is the provider and the ERP system the consumer
    PurchaseOrderSRMPricingSimulateQueryResponse_In: SRM Server is the provider and the ERP system the consumer
    PurchasingContractSRMArchivingCheckQueryResponse_Out: ERP system is the provider and SRM Server the consumer.
    Query Code List: SRM is the service provider and ERP is the consumer for this service.
    This note explains the steps necessary for for the example of the pricing service, please configure the other services accordingly.
    Settings in the Provider system
    1. Open the transaction SOAMANAGER.
    2. If you are using SRM Server 700 Version then  goto SingleServiceAdministration under Application and Scenario Communication Tab.
    3. If you are using SRM Server 701 Version then goto Single Service Administration under service administration Tab.
    4. Search for the Provider service in the search tab. Eg: In this note, Pricing service is taken as example for configuring. For this service, SRM system is the provider and ERP is the consumer system. For this, searching by Service with search pattern "pricing" should return the result PurchaseOrderSRMPricingSimulateQueryResponse_In.
    5. Select the service from search results and click 'Apply Selection' button.
    6. In the Configurations tab, use CREATE SERVICE action to create a web service for this enterprise service proxy.
    7. Mention the name for service, description and binding name. For example, for pricing service, you may want to give 'SRM_Pricing' as new service name, 'Pricing from SRM contracts' as description and 'SRM_Pricing' as new binding name. Click on 'Apply Settings' button.
    8. Select the Check Box 'UserID/Password' under Transport Channel Authentication. By doing this step, authorization at webservice level is imposed. Only users who have acess to the provider system ( here SRM system ) will be able to acess this webservice.
    9. Save the changes using SAVE button as shown below.
    10. Goto overview tab and click on the link 'Display Selected Binding's WSDL url' and copy the wsdl address which will be displayed in a text area.
    Settings in the Consumer system
    1. Open SOAMANAGER transaction in consumer system.
    2. Go to single service admistration under Application and Scenario Communication Tab.
    3. Search for the consumer proxy. Eg: Search for pricing service consumer proxy, in ERP as ERP is consumer system for pricing service.
    4. Select the consumer proxy in search results and click on Apply selection.
    5. Goto Configurations tab and click on 'Create logical port'.
    6. Enter a logical port name (e.g. SRM_ERPpricing_LP), description. Select the check box 'Logical Port is Default' and select the Configuration type 'WSDL Based Configuration'. Select 'Via HTTP acess' as the WSDL access settings.
    7. Enter the WSDL address which is copied as explained in step 9 of configuration in provider system. Enter the WSDL Access user and pass word which will be used to in the provider ( SRM ) system to execute the service. Click on 'Apply settings' button. The user should be a dialog or service user in provider system and should exist in SRM Organization plan.  The user should have roles SAP_BC_WEBSERVICE_CONSUMER assigned. User should also have application roles (/SAPSRM/EMPLOYEE) necessary to execute the underlying purchasing processes in SRM. Please refer to: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/EN/2b/07074155bcf26fe10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm

  • Failing to call external web services

    We are hitting a problem invoking services deployed on an external machine.
    Our setup is straight forward. We have two machines setup. One is running JBOSS (machine name MyMachine1), and the other is running OAS (machine name MyMachine2). Both are on the same development LAN.
    We then deployed a service called ConstructLetter onto JBOSS and tested that we could see this service from within IE on the OAS machine.
    Then I created a simple orchestration in BPEL PM that does an assign and then calls the ConstructLetter service.
    I deployed this onto OAS and tried to initiate the orchestration from the BPELConsole. The Assign works correctly, but the Invoke is highlighted in RED.
    Viewing the error from BPELConsole gives the following error :
    <remoteFault>
    <part name="code" >
    <code>HTTP</code>
    </part>
    <part name="summary" >
    <summary>when invoking endpointAddress 'http://MyMachine1:8080/ConstructLetterService/services/ConstructLetter', (500)Internal Error</summary>

    </part>
    </remoteFault>
    I have added in the machine running JBOSS (MyMachine1) into my JDeveloper->Tools->Preferences->Web Browser and Proxy settings and it
    makes no difference. I have tried to update the partnerlink to the IP address, again no joy.
    When we run this from the same physical machine, i.e. copy the JBOSS session onto the OAS machine so it is all locally, the invoke works correctly.
    The fact I can view from IE would imply to me that BPEL PM is still trying to use the proxy, but I have added the neccessary data into the configuration files to bypass the proxy for these machines.
    I have also tested this with a local BPEL Process Server with the same result.
    Any ideas?

    I had a seemed problem, but I was using OC4J and my LAN has a proxy server.
    I was not able to acess any WebService deployed on other machines. The error message was "Connect refused'. So I edited the file <ORACLE_HOME>\integration\orabpel\bin\obsetenv.bat (or obsetenv.sh for linux)
    in the section ':set_proxy', adding the machine names and it gets work....

  • (secure)HttpURLConnection & FileNotFound

    Hi,
    I'm trying to write an agent that will going to do a login to a page, and retrieve the data there. I have some problems while POSTing data.
    I use jsse. I can succesfully retrieve the main page, and parse all its headers:
    URL hosturl = new URL("https://secure.host.com/net/webservice.jsp?cmd=web");
    HttpURLConnection tc=(HttpURLConnection)hosturl.openConnection();
        tc.setDoOutput(true);
        tc.connect();
        String session=tc.getHeaderField("Set-Cookie");I get inputstream in usual way and see its contents:
    BufferedReader in = new BufferedReader(
                        new InputStreamReader(
                        tc.getInputStream()));
                 String inputLine;
         while ((inputLine = in.readLine()) != null)
             System.out.println(inputLine);
         in.close();
        tc.disconnect();Then I have to make a post which appears in the content like this:
    <form name="form" action="cgi-bin?HostSession=JAq1|-A" method="POST"">
    where HostSession is nothing but the cookie which I can succesfully parse. I try to post data to the form:
    URL form1 = new URL("https://secure.host.com/net/cgi-bin?"+justsession);
        HttpURLConnection fc=(HttpURLConnection)form1.openConnection();
        fc.setDoOutput(true);
        fc.setDoInput(true);
        fc.setRequestProperty("Cookie",session);
        fc.setRequestMethod("POST");
        fc.setRequestProperty("login","ABC");
        fc.connect();
        in=new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(fc.getInputStream()));
        while ((inputLine = in.readLine()) != null)
             System.out.println(inputLine);But I get the exception:
    java.io.FileNotFoundException: https://secure.host.com/net/cgi-bin?HostSession=se|-2
         at com.sun.net.ssl.internal.www.protocol.https.HttpsURLConnection.getInputStream([DashoPro-V1.2-120198])
         at program.mainclass.main(deneme.java:98)
    (The sessions may not match, I copied error at a later time and I change them a little bit in order not to reveal the host.)
    Any help? Thanks a lot.

    Hey,Hey
    Why do you want your Duke Dollars back?? Don't IWhy wouldn't I??
    deserve them? I actually spent time on looking at your
    problem and you did write "You are completely right.".Well, thanks. But I spent that time too, and figured out that answer. Due to my problems with ISP it took time for me to connect and post forum that I have solved the problem that I posted. But I did see your post, and your solution was very helpful. Even if I had come to your point I thought that you deserve the dolar.
    So, forget it!!! (And there is anyway no way to get
    them back!!!)Yes I got that too! The problem was I learnt it with the hard way (as I always do in programming or life.
    >
    Hmm...Well, actually there is something that I can do. I saw the "lost dollars" all around the forum. I don't want my 5 be like them too, so there is no problem with me whether putting them rest or giving them to you. So if you want, I can give them to you. And, maybe, if you are grateful you can give some of them back to me. Of course, I want to solve any of your problems, if there are.
    If you want...

  • Register a Service Component with ISearchService

    Hello,
    I want to implement an external search provider how it is described here:
    Link: [http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw73/helpdata/en/36/4bcd402aa4434fb1bb7d83f7e73d53/frameset.htm]
    But the service can not be registered (
    searchService.register(myHandler.getKey(), myHandler);
    and so, it cannot be started in Portal (Start/Stop Java Applications). Without this registration it can be started.
    MyHandler myHandler = new MyHandler();
        ISearchService searchService = (ISearchService)PortalRuntime.getRuntimeResources().getService(ISearchService.KEY);
        searchService.register(myHandler.getKey(), myHandler);
    Can you please tell me how the implementation of myHandler can be correctly realized?
    (It seems not to work how it is implemented by SAP above - during the registration of service)

    Hi Aziz,

  • While Consuming a WebService in JSP Dyn Page - There is an Error

    Hi Friends,
    I have a web service created in ASP.NET web Service.
    And I have Consumed the Web Service using WSDL URL.
    I need to write a code to refer that class in the JSP DynPage
    I have created like this in DoIntialization
    MyServiceName obj=(MyServiceName) PortalRuntime.getRuntimeResources().getService(MyServiceName.KEY);
    int a = 10;
    int b = 20;
    obj.Add1(a,b);
    but it shows an error
    "The method Add1 Method(Add1 Method) is the type. MySErviceName is not Applicable for the arguements(int,int)"
    Please Help me in this regard.
    Thanks in Advance
    Thanks & Regards,
    Palani

    Hi Andy,
    I will let u know the sequence which i followed to consume the Webservice.
    NWDS --> File --> New --> Project --> Portal Application --> Create New Portal App Project.
    The Project is created.....
    After that i want to consume the Webservice for the same project...
    for that...
    NWDS --> File --> New --> Other --> Portal Application --> Create New Portal Application Object --> Selecting My Project?(intended prjct) --> Portal Webservice --> Portal Service from WSDL file - Client Side --> My WSDL URL --> Selecting the methods which i need to expose from the Webservice --> I gave unique name for my 1) Service 2) Alias 3) Package....and that was done....(other way is to add from portalapp.xml ??)
    After that i created a new JSPDyn page for my application in DoInitialization() method i tried to access the method from that webservice using the following code...
    MyServiceName obj=(MyServiceName) PortalRuntime.getRuntimeResources().getService(MyServiceName.KEY);
    I am successfully able to access the method from the webservice using the object which i have created but i am not able to pass arguments to that method...???
    I tried consuming same webservice created in .NET in .NET itself and i am able to pass arguments successfully.
    I tried to consume webservice created in ABAP in .NET and able to implement successfully...
    but the same ABAP webservice when  i tried to consume its not working with this NWDS.
    Is there any thing else i need to follow while consuming a webservice in the EP Perspectice of NWDS ???
    Deployable Proxy is required for that ?? if required how to create and use that ??
    Thanks in Advance,
    Palani

  • How to Consume a WebService in JSP DynPage

    Hi Friends,
    We have created a Web Service and We want to Consume that in my JSP Dyn Page.
    Please let me know how to consume the Web Services that are created.
    I am having a WSDL File and need to consume it in Enterprise Portal Applications.
    Thanks in Advance.
    Regards,
    Palani

    Hi Palani,
       Create a Portal Application and access the External Web Service (Say for example, http://api.google.com/GoogleSearch.wsdl ).  Create the Portal Application Object -> Portal Web Service -> Portal WebService from wsdl file -> Client Side -> Enter the Wsdl file as http://api.google.com/GoogleSearch.wsdl -> Select the methods to expose -> Enter the service name, Alias and package name should be a unique one. and finish.
    Create bean to set the values.
    In your JSPDynpage Component enter the following code:
    public void doInitialization(){

      MyBean beanObj = new MyBean();
      beanObj.setterMethod(obj.calltheMethodinWSDL());
    And in your JSP page, call the bean getter method.

    Thank u in advance

    I downloaded it but i dont know how to link and use it in my application I'm sure they provide some examples how to use it.
    Look at them and try to understand how a JFreeChart is used.
    When you have a concrete question about JSPs an JSTL you may come back and ask again.
    If you have questions about JFreeChart ask them in the JFreeChart Forum.
