Hi All,I am trying to access cisco iso server through java but i am getting timeout exception in program i am creating a client object pass all the parameter.it seems my program no is not registered.so anybody give any suggestion

If anyone has any additional information please post. We are running into more and more prospects/clients using WebVPN approach (w/ out SSL VPN) for providing remote application access.

Bypassing Proxy Server through java
Hi !!
I`m creating a web browser in JAVA for my college project.I`m using JEditorPane to display HTML in my browser.
My project is running fine at my home where i`ve no proxy but in college, I have a requirement to display HTML pages through a Cyberoam Server running at port 3128.The authentication is done thru Cyberoam client software which is done by the user itself on logging into Windows, so my application has no role in that.
Please help me in regards to how to move through this Cyberoam firewall.

Since this is for a college project and the instructor had imposed the requirement of using Cyberoam, I'd suggest you take better notes in class--I've never had a class where the instructor made something mandatory without a discussion on how to approach it and supply resources where nessisary to do so. -
Connect to unix server through java
Hi All,
I've seen this topic being discussed here, but I want to clarify my situation.
I'm a college student, so our school provides us accounts to a unix server.
I am writing a java program that needs to connect to this unix server owned by the school, and run some commands and obtain the results and display them in the same java program.
for example after the connection, I use the java Runtime() method to pass the "pwd" command from my program, and my java program should receive the result something like "/university/student/program" from the server, and I should be able to display in the java program.
I feel like since the unix from school is already acting as a "server," I don't need to write the server side code, it should be handled by the unix system, right?
Can someone give me a sample code on how to establish such connection?
BTW, I usually use ssh to access the unix server.

Thank You.There are ssh clients written in Java so I'm not really sure you really want the following code because it accesses ssh using Runtime.exec(). I have never used this with anything except Linux so I assume that your client ssh is in a directory that is on the PATH.
If your server ssh is set up to do public key authentication then you will not have to supply the user password. If you do require a password then on Linux FC5 you will be prompted though a dialog. I don't know how you provide the password in Windows.

Problem with socket connection through Java Embedding...
We are trying to create a simple socket connection to a socket server through BPEL PM using the Java Embedding component.
BPEL Process : Client makes an asynchronous request. Passes an input variable. The input variable is sent to the Server Program through a socket connection through the Java embedding component.
Server: We are running a simple Socket Server program from command prompt.
The code below works fine as long as we do not try to receive a response from the server (Commented Code).
If we uncomment the code and try to receive a response, it refuses to create an instance for the BPEL Process. And sometimes restarts the BPEL Server.

Need Help-How Store the input parameter through java bean
Hello Sir,
I have a simple Issue but It is not resolve by me i.e input parameter
are not store in Ms-Access.
I store the input parameter through Standard Action <jsp:useBean>.
jsp:useBean call a property IssueData. this property exist in
SimpleBean which create a connection from DB and insert the data.
At run time servlet and server also show that loggging are saved in DB.
But when I open the table in Access. Its empty.
Ms-Access have two fields- User, Password both are text type.

The .dbc file looks fine.
I connect successfully to database.
I tried to reinstall JDeveloper.
I performed many searches on MOS, OTN, Google, etc...
I tried to change the Startup Settings (Host Name, IP Address settings) of the Embedded OC4J Server Preferences.
I am stuck.
Any ideas?

I checked again the .dbc file.
I downloaded again the file from $INST_TOP/appl/fnd/12.0.0/secure to <JDEV_USER_HOME>\dbc_files\secure
This file worked fine for JDeveloper for 12.2.3.
I went again through "Oracle Application Framework Developer's Guide Release 12.2.4 July 2014" but could not find any part related to .dbc file having changed from previous release.
I tried to comment out the parameter APPS_JDBC_URL in .dbc as per MOS note "Troubleshooting JDeveloper setup for Oracle Applications (Doc ID 357218.1)"
But I still face the issue.
According to the note "Configuring JDeveloper For Use With Oracle Applications 11i and R12 (Doc ID 330236.1)", I have added the following debug parameters in the project properties:
-Djbo.debugoutput=console -Djbo.logging.trace.threshold=9 -Djbo.jdbc.driver.verbose=true -Djbo.jdbc.trace=true

Here i have given file name like "c:\test\test.pdf" it's work fine.
My J2EE server is running different machine and my Netweaver is another machine.
If both server and IDE in same machine it's work fine. But both are in different machine,
i have some problems.
If i try like this server always go and check his own path, not client machine
so it will error like "given source not found". So if i get client machine's path
then i will store easily into SQL Server 2000.

Unable to checkin a document using 'CHECKIN_UNIVERSAL" service through java
Hi All,
I am trying to checkin a document through java code and following is my code part for the same( UCM 11g)
But whenever i run this code part, it throws the following exception
intradoc.common.ServiceException:csUnableToCheckin,<null>!csUnabletoExecMethod,populateMissingDocumentValues

it seems to have something to do with the xCollectionID.
If I don't set this, it works fine (checking in and out, checking in new revision). If I set it I can check in a new item using CHECKIN_NEW but I am unable to use CHECKIN_UNIVERSAL to check in a new revision.
Any pointers would be appreciated.

A lot of problem for an error: Cannot start Managed Server through NM
Hi, all. Thank for coming here.
My main problem is cannot start Manager server through Node Manager. I've configured with the same way on my friend's network and It's works but It's wrong with mine.
my weblogic domain:
Machine 1: Administration Server + 1 Managed server
Machine 2: 1 Managed server
all of these servers communicate through SSL protocol. When I try to start Managed Server on remote machine:

I can ensure that all of these connection pool has configured to run on 9093 port already. Then I view the DOMAIN_NAME/pointbase.log, it said:

I cannot understand what's run on pointbase address ?
All of these error make me angry, because I've configured with the same way on other system and It's work. I've spent all of week to fix these bug, but I'm having nothing :((

I've looked for these JAVA_OPTION values you said, but I cant found them. That value is content of JAVA_DEBUG option, not JAVA_OPTION. In my situation, JAVA_DEBUG=" " (it's not set by default).

Issue with passing parameters through Java-JSP in a report with cross tab
Can anyone tell me, if there's a bug in Java SDK in passing the parameters to a report (rpt file) that has a cross tab in it ?
I hava report that works perfectly fine
with ODBC through IDE and also through browser (JSP page)
(ii) with JDBC in CR 2011 IDE
the rpt file has a cross tab and accpts two parameters.
When I run the JDBC report through JSP the parameters are never considered. The same report works fine when I remove the cross tab and make it a simple report.
I have posted this to CR SDK forum and have not received any reply. This have become a blocker and because of this our delivery has been postponed. We are left with two choices,
Re-Write the rpt files not to have cross-tabs - This would take significant effort
OR
(ii) Abandon the crystal solution and try out any other java based solutions available.

As I stated earlier, we have been using the latest service pack (12) when I generated the log file that is uploaded earlier.
To confirm this further, I downloaded the complete eclipse bundle from sdn site and reran the rpt files. No change in the behaviour and the bug is reproducible.
You are right about the parameters, we are using {?@Direction} is: n(1.0)
{?@BDate} is: dt(d(1973-01-01),t(00:00:00.453000000)) as parameters in JSP and we get 146 records when we directly execute the stored procedure. The date and the direction parameter values stored in design time are different. '1965-01-01' and Direction 1.
When we run the JSP page, The parameter that is passed through the JSP page, is displayed correctly on the right top of the report view. But the data that is displayed in cross tab is not corresponding to the date and direction parameter. It corresponds to 1965-01-01 and direction 1 which are saved at design time.
You can test this by modifying the parameter values in the JSP page that I sent earlier. You will see the displayed data will remain same irrespective of the parameter.
Further to note, Before each trial run, I modify the parameters in JSP page, build them and redeploy so that caching does not affect the end result.
This behaviour, we observe on all the reports that have cross-tabs. These reports work perfectly fine when rendered through ODBC-ActiveX viewer and the bug is observable only when ran through Java runtime library. We get this bug on view, export and print functionalities as well.
