Acknowledgement from third party data base using receiver jdbc adapter

Hi ,
I've a scenario where I'm sending material master data to third party database  using an automated scheduled  prgram in R/3 , i've used asynchronous abap proxy to receiver JDBC scenario. But now they are asking to design in such a way that there should be an acknowledgement to the sender  if data has not been updated in database.
pl help me how to design the above .

Hi mohammad,
   In the design (IR) when u r specifying the messages interface define it has synchronous message there u will get the reponse message tag below the actual message interface. Here you can define the reponse message frm the thrid party if the message got failed.
Try do this with help of integration senario in which u can define the reponse(which is failed) also..............

    I am trying to insert data in to two tables in a single structure using receiver jdbc adapter. I am not using any stored procedure to insert data instead directly inserting the data using PI. Please see the structure I am using.

    Using the above structure I am able to successfully insert the data in Table 1 but data is not getting inserted in Table 2.
    In sxmb_moni it is saying message successfully delivered but I but there is data insertion took place in Table 2.
    Please help me urgently.

    Add --InsertStatement statement for the second table structure in the same level of first InsertStatement.

  • Specify Keys in Data Type for receiver JDBC adapter

    Hi guys,
    I have the following issue:
    In a proxy to JDBC scenario, I want to specify somehow the key values for the SQL statement in the data type that I define for the receiver JDBC adapter. Thus, I am using the following structure in data type:
    root
        Statement
               dbTable
               action
               table
               access
                      CustomerID
                      Name
                      HouseNo
               Key
                      CustomerID
    But in the SQL statement that is produced (I can see that in RWB, CC Monitoring, Audit Log), the "Key" segment is translated into "OR". E.g. UPDATE_INSERT ("A100" "Evaggelos Gkatzios" "El Alamein 19") OR ("A100")

    Its clear from the statement in RWB (in CC monitoring's auditlog) you are using UPDATE_INSERT as the action.
    Please correct me if this is OK. Now the interpretation of input xml file will be like this,
    If the input XML is in the following format
    <root>
    <Statement>
    <dbTable action=UPDATE_INSERT>
    <table>EXAMPLE</table>
    <access>
      <CustomerID>ABC</CustomerID>
      <Name>xyz</Name>
      <HouseNo>123</HouseNo>
    </access>
    <key>
      <CustomerID>DEF</CustomerID>
    </key>
    </dbTable>
    </Statement>
    </root>
    Resultant SQL after parsing the XML file will be,
    1. It will first check with the condition WHERE CustomerID = DEF. If it finds the record with this condition then it will update the record with CustomerID=ABC, Name =xyz & HouseNo=123.
    2. If it doesn't find any record with that CustomerID then, it will insert a new record with the same details.
    In auditlog, you will find two SQL statements like,
    1.UPDATE EXAMPLE SET CustomerID=ABC, Name =xyz & HouseNo=123 WHERE CustomerId=DEF
    2.INSERT INTO EXAMPLE VALUES(ABC,xyz,123)

  • How can I set up printing to queues on a Windows 2008 server directly from the iPad apps and not from third-party applications without using AppleTalk or Bonjour?

    We have a Windows 2003/2008 server-based network with a dedicated print server which we would like to be able to print to over Wi-Fi.  How can I set up the printers on the iPad without downloading a third party application such as Print Central or Print N Share?  I want to just click the arrow and "Print" then choose the printer, which doesnt show up.  I want to be able to use the existing TCP/IP-based network that we have to reach these queues, not having to install Bonjour or AppleTalk to reach them.

    This would really be the "Holy Grail"   right now.  I think this a feature that every large organization requires. AirPrint works on a small scale, but is not really an enterprise class application.  In addition it uses the Bonjour discovery process which is difficult in a large LAN WAN environment.  For those that would remind me, I am aware of the enhancement link 

  • Error when using receiver JDBC adapter

    i am using JDBC adapter as receiver(for oracle 10g) now, however i got ORA-00984 error. So i enable logSQLStatement.
    then got the following SQL statement from communication channel monitoring:
    INSERT INTO BASEINFO(APPNO, BUSSINAME, APPPERSON) VALUES (3, Steven, Lee)
    I realize the statement is incorrect, which should be:
    INSERT INTO BASEINFO(APPNO, BUSSINAME, APPPERSON) VALUES ('3', 'Steven', 'Lee')
    So how can i correct the SQL statement? is there any setting i miss out in configuration?

    You may try this. For each field in datatype, add an attribute hasQuot. Map it to "no" in mapping. Then add single quotes to all the values by simply concatinating it on both sides of value.

  • Table name in Receiver JDBC Adapter

    Hi All,
    I am using receiver JDBC adapter.
    But table name consist of " like BPC."#II" .
    After mapping table name becomes BPC.&quot;#II&quot; .
    I am getting error while pulling data from DB.
    Is the table name creating a problem.
    Please remedy of this if you have come across such scenario.

    By putting action=Insert in the Receiver Structure ,I could able to insert the data.
    When I am Trying Delete or Update in the Same way I could not see the data modified in the table.

  • Receiver jdbc adapter:how to implement the insert or update action in a sql

    Hi,gurus:
    I'm using receiver jdbc adapter now.
    You know, we have to gave the action the value 'update' or 'insert',but in our case,the action is variant--update or insert.It decides whether the record exists in the outer database.
    Can stored procedure do this?If I use stored procedure,then must I create a stored procedure in the outer database?
    Or some other ways to solute my issue?

    Use Action UPDATE_INSERT .
    This action check if a record exist with same key value then update that record. In case no record with key value found in database then record inserted to database.

  • Can not receive emails from third party email accounts

    Recently I started working for a small business which has small business server 2011 and exchange 2010 installed. Before I started there were eight user accounts and they all have unlimited email access. I created a few users through sbs AD and also from
    exchange console a week ago. Unfortunately none of them can not receive emails from third party accounts. they all can receive internal emails and also can send mails to any email accounts internally and externally. 
    This is a night mare for me as new users are having trouble with communicating via mails. I have tried all the methods and now thought of posting this issue on tech net. Please help me on this!!

    Checklist for testing inbound email problems, I am assuming outbound emails works ok.
    1. Check Port 25 forwarding on all modems routers/firewalls
    2. MX Record is created and pointing to the correct Public IP Address, use MXToolbox.com to verify MX Record and test SMTP flow. Also Verify your public IP has not changed, use whatsmyip.org to check you public IP
    3. If using POP Connector Service, make sure POP accounts are created properly
    4. If using a 3rd party spam host, make sure they forward email to correct public IP address, use step 2 to verify your public IP.

    I am not sure what your question is. The code you pasted looks like the MatrixAndDataSources example that comes with the SDK. What are you trying to do?

    This option is available when your publish target is set to AIR 3.6.
    You can download the desired AIR SDK version from Archived Adobe AIR SDK versions

  • Incoming invoice from third party system

    Hi All,
    Could you please help in choosing functional module or bapi or badi's for incoming invoices that are receiving from third party system. I have no ideal about that but the SAP has to be loaded using idocs. what is the reason to choose the above ones
