Acrobat XI combine to PDF feature is not working with Office 2013 is there a compatibility issue?

Tested with Office 2010 and it works fine
Seems to only be the combine to PDF feature that doesn't work, done updates, tried combining a variety of documents still no joy

There isn't any compatibility issue with Office 2013 and Combine should work with office 2013 same as it with 2010.
Can you please tell us some more details so that we can investigate the problem which you are facing:
1) Please update the exact Acrobat version you are using. This you can find out via "Help -> About Adobe Acrobat XI Pro.." Version should be something like 11.0.x. If it is not 11.0.7, then please update it to 11.0.7 and try again.
2) Is this problem you faced recently (after some update - Acrobat or OS update) or it never used to work earlier for you?
3) You mentioned that when combining, it convert first document only. Can you please let us know how many documents you are combining and what are those formats?
4) Also please update about you environment as well. Is you Operating System and MS Office 32bit or 64bit?

Crystal report version 8.5 hangs and eventually crash when i export my report to csv or rtf format on windows 7 with office 2013 installed, code is written in VB 6 although the same scenario is working with office 2010 installed.
i debugged the code and found the application hangs at function Report.Export(False).

CR 8.5, being about 15 years old, does not support Windows 7. I am surprised this works for you with MS Office 2010 and to be honest, I'd consider my self lucky there. The fact that is does not work with office 2013... well, like I said, lucky with Office 2010 and your luck ran out with Office 2013.
Your option; rewrite the app in VS 2010 / 2012 / 2013 and use the CR Assemblies for VS .NET from SAP Crystal Reports, Developer Version for Visual Studio .NET. The CR Java SDK would be another option.

PDF Portfolio does not work with iOS Reader 11.3.2 on iOS 7.1.2

Well this is upsetting. I created a PDF form with several pages of the same form (it's a travel log).
My hoping to use Adobe Reader to complete the form and save back as a week at a time won't work.
I created the form using Acrobat Pro 9 from CS5.
Does anyone know if a PDF form in a Portfolio should work with Adobe Reader on the iPad2/
Also, what can I use that works with forms as a portfolio?

Upgrade pricing now only applies to version 9 and X. So if you have a retail serial number for X, you should be able to upgrade. (Or consider subscription).

If you own any version of Aperture 3, you are entitled to a free update. Only it can be tricky, if your version is not associated with your AppleID, because you bought it with a serial number.
Have you checked, if you can see an update at the App Store Updates page? Or an "Accept" button on the Purchases tab of the app Store?
Contact the AppStore Support and request a redeem code, to be able to buy the update for free. You will need to provide a proof op purchase of Aperture.

Wacom - Application specific features do not work with firefox. - Mac OSX

I have been in touch with Wacom and they have confirmed the following:
Wacom tablets, pen and mice, have mappable buttons and features that are programmable to perform whatever functions are desired.
Furthermore, they can have individual programing for each program being operated. So, say, Photoshop, finder and Safari could all use the same button on a pen, but that button would do different things in each (left click, right click, keystroke etc)
Firefox, some time ago, broke this ability and ignores/disallows program specific functions to be applied.
This is the only piece of software I have ever seen that doesnt work with wacom products.
Please fix this issue.
(I have a tendency to love applying "Middle click" to the pen's button to allow for page scrolling at a wave of the hand.)

There is no time limit in Firefox 4+ versions for the history. 
Firefox determines automatically how many pages can be kept without affecting the performance. 
You can see the current value via the reads-only pref places.history.expiration.transient_max_pages on the about:config page.

If you lose the history then make sure that you do not use Clear Recent History to clear the browsing history. 
Also make sure that you do not have cleanup software that might clean up files in the Firefox Profile Folder.

Office Store not working in Office 2013 ProPlus

I have few policies set up for managing our network deployment of Office 2013 ProPlus. Pretty standard things like disabling the first time run movie, disabling the office start screen, and disabling OneDrive. I actually made most of these changes through
the registry as well.
Now, it seems as though the Office Store is disabled but I have no recollection of specifically disabling such a feature nor could I find a registry or GPO which does disable it. I even undid many of the registries I use on a test bench but still could not
get the Office Store functionality back. We've had Office 2013 rolled out on our network for almost a year, and it's taken this long for 1 person of 150 members of staff to notice that the Dictionaries feature is not working due to Office Store not working.
I feel a bit daft posting something seemingly so trivial on TechNet, but half an hour on Google didn't turn up anything relevant that I wasn't already aware of.

Please check if you have disabled the option of "Don't allow any apps to start" and "Don't allow apps from the Office Store to start" in Office Trust Center.
Location: FILE->Options->Trust Center->Trusted App Catalogs
GPO settings for these options:
Block Apps for Office
Block the Office Store
Location: User Configuration->Administrative Templates->Microsoft Office 2013->Security Settings->Trust Center->Trusted Catalogs

Microsof VX 3000 or 6000 Webcam does not work with Lync 2013 under Windows 8.1

Hi,
The problem is that i cannot use the Microsoft VX-3000 or VX-6000 with Lync 2013 under Windows 8.1.
If i go in settings under Video i can see the preview from the webcam just fine, so it works there no problem.
Wenn i try to enable my camera in a conference it does not work, i get an error: Your video cannot be started.
Now, there are no Windows 8.1 drivers for the Webcam so i installed the latest Windows 7 drivers. Because of that this webcam does not work with apps, that is fine i understand the driver problem and the way the new apps work.
But this Webcam works with skype under Windows 8.1 and it works with Lync 2010 client.
The same Webcam works just fine with Lync 2013 under Windows 7.
Is there anything i could do so that i get this Webcam to work with Lync 2013 desktop client under Windows 8.1?

According to your description, it may be caused by driver.
You can try to install the latest version of Display Driver to fix the display issue.
Since there is no driver for Windows 8.1, I suggest you wait for updating.

Full screen auto-hide feature does not work with Adobe Acrobat Reader add-on 11.0.0.379 in Firefox 17.01.

"Full screen" menu item and its keyboard short cut F11 stop working with Acrobat Reader. The Firefox top edge border does not hide once you have moved around in the Acrobat document. Therefore it is not possible to display PDF documents in a true full screen mode within Firefox. The auto-hide full screen mode works nicely with other Firefox windows, so apparently the Acrobat Reader add-on breaks the feature. Windows 7 64-bit.

From the JS API Reference of the print method:
Non-interactive printing can only be executed during batch, console, and menu
events.
Outside of batch, console, and menu events, the values of bUI and of interactive are ignored
and a print dialog box will always be presented.

Acrobat Pro 9 (nine) not working with Office 365 subscription edition.

Hello all,
I have a new subscription and new download of Office 365. The product is buggy generally and makes really frustrating changes to links to other programs that are sometimes difficult to figure out.
Specifically, Word 2013 will not communicate with Acrobat Pro 9
I have tried creating a PDF from Word via Print to PDF but that makes both programs hang; I have tried saving the Word doc, opening AAP and using "Create PDF" from Pro, but this also makes both programs hang.
I was able to create ONE PDF via the Print To option, but since then, both applications hang every time. Super frustrating.
Anyone have this problem, and, more importantly, a solution?

Macbook Pro Pinch/Zoom feature does not work with Firefox 6

Display PDF in browser not working with Customization Wizard

I used the Customization Wizard to generate a transform. One of the settings I specified was to display the PDF in the browser. The checkbox is checked, both in the Customization Wizard Console and in Acrobat's Preferences dialog after the installation completes on a clean workstation. Yet, the PDFs all display in a separately launched Acrobat session. They continue to do so until the user brings up the Preferences dialog, clears the checkbox and then rechecks it. When that is done, the installer dialog runs briefly (like something else is getting installed) and then Acrobat behaves as desired.
Any help would be appreciated!

One workaround for getting Dreamweaver to work with Firefox 3.6 is Automator. I was reading a mozilla users thread about this; mozilla considers the new way better (no spaces or special characters in path names). I tried this, but still had problems. But, the following Automator app does works for me.
First, if you haven't already, set the default broswer in Safari's preferences to Firefox.
Open Automator and set up the following workflow:
Get Specified Finder Items - add the DW doc you want to preview in Firefox.
Display Webpages - this opens Safari (or the default broswer set in Safari's prefences).
Save the workflow as an application (ex: StandardBrowser.app)
Add the new app to the DW browser list.
The path (Get Specified Finder Items) needs to be edited for each page you want to preview. I suppose you could create an Automator app for each page and add them to the browser list, but I prefer to just edit the Automator app for each page. Just reopen the app in Automator and add a new path to Get Specified Finder Items.
The poster who gave me this tip said on his 10.6 machine that step one will work just by itself and that step two will work just by itself. Neither one of the one step solutions worked for me (10.5), but the two step Automator app above does.

"Do not Disturb" feature is not working with iOS6 update in iPhone4

I have updated iOS6 on my iphone 4. I tried to turn on "Do not Disturb" feature, schedule time then test it but it is not working. Phone is ringing with vibrate & tone. kindly fix this bug.

When I first tested the Do Not Disturb function, I discovered two ways it could seem like it was not working. One, as mentioned above, was that my screen was not locked. The other was the settings under Settings/Notifications/Do Not Disturb. If your settings allow calls from favorites and then you try to test the feature from a phone in your favorites list, it will not block the call. Similarly, if you are testing multiple times and the allow repeated call option is set, the call will also get through.
And one other observation. All of the material I have seen describes the action of the Do Not Disturb function as silencing the notifications. For incoming calls it does more than that; it actually rejects the call so the caller goes straight to voicemail rather than just ringing silently.

New Lightroom 4 mail feature does not work with Hotmail

Hi,
I have tested the new mail feature today. Unfortunatelly, it does not work well with my hotmail account.
The mail is send by lightroom and received in my hotmail mailbox, but the photo is not visible. The tekst in the messages is readable, but instead of the downloaded photoI only see a red cross.
Anyone an idea what the reason is ?

I do not see any error message and the received mail contains a correct text message, only the picture is not visible in the mail. I tried to send a Photo with the email preset on small and normal but without success.

I have tried to send a photo to the hotmail email adress of a friend and it works, text and photo are visible. Conclusion is that the reason for not showing the photo is not a Lightroom 4 problem. The reason should be something on my own computer, any suggestions are welcome.

IPhone 4 "iPod" features do NOT work with the new 2011 Infinite M37

just recently bought teh 2010 Infinite M37. I connected the new iPhone 4 to it via the USB cable. It showed connected in the M37 display dash....even showed the typical navigation menu (i.e. playlists, artists, songs, etc). However, I was unable to navigate at all in the menu (it appeared locked....and yes, i had entered my passcode on the iPhone , or play any songs. Also, when I played Pandora, it also did not go through the car speakers.
I've always bought the Infiniti's.....and they've always worked with my iPhone 3G. Looks like either this car is an exception, or something has seriously changed with the iPhone that prevents it from working.
My question is I wonder if Apple is working with any car manufacturers to address this. My guesss is that Infiniti can be the only car that will have this issue.

I don't know 100% for sure that the Apple USB cable for the iPod Touch is different than the Apple USB cable for the iPod Touch 2G.
But:
I have read (somewhere) that the tiny pin connectors are different. That is why an iPod Touch 1G could be charged by (for example) a Logitech mm50 Speaker set and an iPod Touch 2G cannot.
An iPod Touch 2G can still connect to the Logitech mm50 Speaker set. It will still play and you will hear music. But it is no longer charging. And I have read of iPod Touch 2Gs getting very hot in these cradles. That can't be good for the poor iPod in the long run.
So for the Apple USB power adaptors to work, (which both came out before the iPod Touch 2G), they must have some override or blocked pin if they can work with both generations of iPod Touches.
