AD Reconciliation in oim 9.1

Hi,
We need your help to achieve the following requirement
Existing Env: We already have two AD domains as integrated resources for Provisioning/DeProvisioning(no approval process) and reconciliation with two diff resources(ABC ADDomain,XYZ ADDomain), one resourceObject(AD User) and one Process Form (UD_ADUSER).
Aim: We need to integrate another AD domain to oim 9.1 for target reconciliation only(Not for Provision/DeProvision).
Can we use exisitng resourceObject and ProcessForm to integrate it?
If we use existing ResourceObject(ADUser) and ProcessForm (UD_ADUSER), Is threre any known issues (because,we are using Provisioning/DeProvisioning for those already existing Domains)
Or Do we need to define one more resource object and process form separately for this new AD domain?
Please suggest.

Depends whether the attributes which you want to reconcile are the same as the ones in the current AD RO. If you want to add/delete certain attributes, you will have to create a new RO and move accordingly

Xelsysadm has a valid email id. Now when I am reconciling any user, two mail notifications are being sent. Not able to know from where these two notifications are being triggered.
Am i suppose to make any changes in the configurations?

Sorry re-read your issue again. I believe there are two notifications because you have added your notify task in the process definition and OIM OOTB sends a notification when a user is recon'd. Thus remove your task or disable the OOTB notification. The property is Recon.SEND_NOTIFICATION

Transformation during LDAP Sync reconciliation in OIM 11g

Does anyone know if the use of transformations is supported in LDAP Sync reconciliation in OIM 11g?
The reconciliation of LDAP User records is defined in /db/LDAPUser in the OIM metadata. The default version of this file has entries to specify OneToOne transformations, e.g.

</Transformation>
For one of my attributes I wish to perform a custom transformation, and have implemented a transformation method as a GC provider (i.e. developed a Java class implementing the TransformationProvider interface and defined this Transformation in an xml file in the metadata path /db/GTC/ProviderDefinitions. I have uploaded a new version of LDAPUser that references my custom transformation provider for one of the LDAP attributes.
When I try and perform an LDAP Sync user reconciliation, my custom class does not seem to be getting called when I generate a reconciliation event for the affected attribute. I also do not see any logs indicating a failure to load my provider. I have also turned up all the relevant log levels I can identify, and can see no record of OIM doing anything related to transformationat all (e.g. even calling the standard OneToOne transformation provider).
I am suspicious that although LDAPUser has transformation entries, this may be misleading and transformation is not being performed at all for LDAP Sync.
Does anyone else have experience of using transformation providers during LDAP Sync reconciliation?

while performing the OIM configuration can I use Enable Ldap sync or I need to finish the OIM configuration first and then do the ldap sync.

Unable to configure Flatfile Reconciliation in OIM 9.1.0.1

Hello,
I am facing this weird issue with OIM in my new project. I have followed the below steps to configure the flatfile reconciliation using as a trusted source.
1. Transport Provider- Shared Drive
2. Format Provider- CSV
I have filled the location for the Staging Directory(Parent) and Archiving directory. I am using Cp1251 for File Encoding.
The problem which I am facing is that as soon as I move forward from the above step for Mapping, I do not see any fields under the Source and Reconciliation Staging
in Step 3: Modify Connector Configuration. What could possibly be the reason for this? The flat file is already there in the parent directory location before starting the configuration of Flatfile GTC. There are no logs generated for this for obvious reasons. It would be great if someone can reply soon as I have been facing this issue since yesterday morning.

I created a new flat file and a new connector. Now I am facing a different issue. The data is getting reconciled as per the reconciliation events and the Status is "Event Received".
Basic Mapping is;
login->User_login
firstname->First name
lastname->Last name
organization->Organization Name
User Type->Xellerate Type
Employee Type->Role
Password-> hardcoded as "abcd@12345"

Integration and reconciliation of OIM and OID

I need to do integration with OID and OIM, when i import the XML file, there are two XML files,
1) oimOIDuser
2) oimUser
which xml should be used for the integration of OIM and OID.
and for the trusted source Reconciliation.

If you are using OIM 9.1.0 or later then you don't have to import the connector
You can install it by copying the contents of the installation in OIM_HOME/xellerate/ConnectorDefaultDirectory
and then Deployment Manager-> Install connector and from the connector list select OID connector and Load

Trusted Reconciliation in OIM 11g

Hi
I have written custom scheduler task in OIM 11g which will retrieve values from database and call recon API's to create users in OIM.
Database Table contains the following sample values
FIRSTNAME:RECON
LASTNAME:USER1
USERLOGIN:RUSER1
ORGANIZATION:Xellerate Users
EMPLOYEE-TYPE:Full-Time
I created Resource Object with the above recon attributes and mapped these attributes to OIM User Attributes and made userlogin as key attribute.
I created Recon Rule as USER LOGIN equals userlogin and action rule as No Matches Found -> Create User
Now I ran the job from UI and status is showing as Data Recieved only. It is not creating users.

Where is Design Console Access attributes ?I think no need to set value for this attribute as the default value will be End-User only. Correct me if I am wrong.
Have you created Recon Rule properly ?yes
Have you created Reconciliation Profile ?yes
Call teh API porcessReconciliationEvent after createReconciliationEvent API.Is it mandatory to call processReconciliationEvent after createReconciliationEvent? The reason why I am asking is when I wrote scheduler for target recon I didn't used processReconciliationEvent.

OVD/OID group reconciliation in OIM 11g with LDAP sync

Is it possible to reconcile OID groups to OIM using LDAP sync? How to achieve such configuration?
I have OIM with LDAP sync and user and roles provisining to OVD is working.

EBS ER Connector User Reconciliation into OIM

Hi,
I have a requirement where we need to create user when an employee information is entered in EBS R12. We have created a plug-in for creating a user account and this plug-in executes after update, user id which is firstname;s first character and lastname appended with number. In the Lookup.EBS.ER.Recon, we have changed the user id with the plug-in variable. After doing this configuration, we are successfully able to create the user account, but when we are trying urpdate any field in the EBS R12 employee information we are not able to update as it is giving user id null exception. And even we want to send a notification with user details to user manager, this is also not working after adding the plug-in for user name creation.
Please help me to resolve this problem.

I gone through the connector guide, but couldn't get any information related to setting Person Id as mandatory. I am using EBS ER Connector release 9.1.0 and OIM 11g. Can you please help me out?

OIM connector for db table--unable to Reconciliation data to OIM database

I installed OIM and Connector for Database Application Tables 9.1.03
I want to only Reconciliation one table in the target db,organization table.
when I build a GTC-connector though the administratoe console ,and run the task

Lookup.USR_PROCESS_TRIGGERS not working with trusted reconciliation oim 11g

Hi,
I am facing one issue while running the trusted incremental reconciliation in OIM 11g.
In the bulkEvent of the event handler I am checking if the operation is MODIFY then I am comparing some attributes and based of that result I am performing some action.
Now the issue is that if the first name or last name of the users gets changed in OIM due to trusted reconciliation then the Change First Name or Change Last Name Process task should get execute on the resources provisioned to the user. This is not happening in my case.
I tried modifying the first name of the user via UI and then the Change First Name Process task got executed.
Please let me know if I need to do some thing extra to get this working.

Hi,
Try creating a custom adapter and attach the adapter to the process task which you have created. This adapter should read the user profile value and populate in the AD provisioning form. Then test the flow for one attribute. As I am suspecting that there would be an issue with OOTB adapter.

Creating GTC in OIM 11g (11.1.1.3.0)

Hi,
I'm trying to install Generic Technology Connector (Database_App_Tables_9.1.0.5.0) and to configure the target sysatem as a trusted source reconcilation task in OIM 11g 11.1.1.3 but I get a lot of problems. I used the following quides to do that:
1) Oracle® Identity Manager Connector Guide for Database Application Tables Release 9.1.0
2) racle® Fusion Middleware Developer's Guide for Oracle Identity Manager 11g Release 1 (11.1.1)
First of all, these quides don't correspond to the OIM 11g or I'm not smart enough to understand them. On the step 3 of configuration target system as a trusted source I can't find some of the mandatory fields of the OIM User form. The Guide tells me that mandatory fields are: User ID, First Name, Last Name, Employee Type, User Type, Organization. But in the User form only some of them represented: First Name, Last Name, Organization.
Nevertheless I configured my system as follows:
1) I'd created table EMPLOYEES with columns LOGIN, FIRSTNAME(primary key), LASTNAME, ORGANIZATION in my Oracle DB. I'd add one row in my table useru, User, User, Xellerate Users.
2) I'd configured my connector as follows:

Flat File reconciliation failing with no error

Hello,
I'm trying to set up flat file reconciliation with OIM 11g. I've followed this guide
http://www.oracle.com/webfolder/technetwork/tutorials/obe/fmw/oim/10.1.4/oim/obe12_using_gtc_for_reconciliation/using_the_gtc.htm
and configured the mapping for my fields. When I execute the scheduled task to launch the reconciliation process, I get no errors, but no user is created either. In OIM's output, the only message relevant to the reconciliation that is printed is

Since I can see no errors, I'm not really sure where to look to understand why users are not created. Any ideas?

Looking at your log it is clear that, you are populating Xellerate Type=null. This is mandatory field and can't be null. However, when you create user using UI, the default value "End-Users" is being passed by default, because we have the corresponding field "Design Console" access check box at oim user profile.
Just map the constant value for trusted recon

What all are the fields you are bringing from Flat File to OIM ?
It says NumberFormatException which generally comes when you try to convert String (that does not represent a number) into Number. Check your fields and their mapping once again.

Target reconciliation

Hi all,
I am performing Trget reconciliation (OID-OIM) here is the scenario
1. create User in OID.
2. Run Traget Reconciliation.
3. link should be established between xelsysadm and the OID account.
How to achive this ?
In the action rule od the OID Resource object i added the action NO MATCH FOUND = ASSIGN TO USER (xelsysadm) .
But i am not able to see the link. help me

For your understanding - Typical Scenario of Target Recon
1) Process Matching
For this, you need to create mapping between RO attributes and Process Form fields in the Process Definition (Reconciliation Field Mapping) and define the key mappings for matching to take place. You can define multiple keys. This way the process matching takes place with the already provisioned resource or certain actions takes place as you define your object reconciliation rule.
2) Entity Matching
For this, you need to create a Reconciliation Rule where you map the RO Attributes with Entity Attributes.
In your case, you need to follow the Entity Matching scenario

OID connector maps User ID to uppercase

Hi community,
I'n configuring OID connector as trusted source reconciliation to OIM. In Lookup Definition => AttrName.Recon.Map.OID, I see the default mapping provided by OID connector is that User ID is mapped to cn.
However, when i run the reconciliation, all User ID values are converted to uppercase. Is there anyway that I can keep the original values of cn?
