ADAPTER.JAVA_EXCEPTION XMBMessageOperator.getQualityOfServiceAsString error
I am currently working on a scenario SOAP to idoc using PI 7.11 ep0. I have generated the WSDL, imported it into SOAPUI for testing and I am receiving the error below.

Any help in resolving this issue will result in points being awarded and great appreciation being heaped on you.
Thanks in advance,

Hi Rajhans,
I have already forwarded OSS Note 1239995 to my Basis team. They have told me this note does not apply to us as the note is for PI7.10.
As far as the XML structure, I have imported the WSDL into SOAPUI for testing purposes. The XML structure is a simple structure (only about 10-12 fields) and seems to be correct.
Can you please confirm this problem still exists in PI 7.11 SP0?
Thanks
Terri

ADAPTER.JAVA_EXCEPTION: Sender soap adapter PI 7.11
Hi
I am using the following URL to post a soap message using Sender Soap channel. (We have SAP PI 7.11 (EHP1) sp0)
http://<hostname>:50000/XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet?channel=:Business_Sysytem:Channel.
I am getting following exception..
I have searched SAP notes as well and have not found any pertaining to this . Though for SAP PI 7.10 sap has a note (1239995 ) for same issue but that is not applicable for this version.

SenthilHi Senthil,
As suggested by others there is no problem with your communication channels ,,, the problem you face is because Your DBA has initiated the SHUTDOWN IMMEDIATE command. This will shutdown Oracle and terminate all active operations.
Please tell him to start the services and Wait until Oracle has been restarted by your DBA.

Sender SOAP CC - ADAPTER.JAVA_EXCEPTION
Hi,
We are using XI 2.0; This scenario is SOAP -> IDOC; I followed the steps in the document 'How Tou2026
Use the XI 3.0 SOAP Adapter';
I have created a sender soap communication channel and defined a web service from the ID; (SOAP adapter channel belongs to service without party, so I used the address as follows http://<host>:<j2ee-port>/XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet?
channel=:<service>:<channel> in the wizard to create the WSDL file)
I could not use a third party software to test the interface.

Also are you refrering the proper channel in Receiver Agreement?
Do a dummy change to the channel...save...activate...refresh cache and then check.

Hi experts,
we have a problem when we call a web service PI (release 7.01 , SP 10), from legacy system : the PI system return this message : ADAPTER.JAVA_EXCEPTION ; - java.lang.Exception: no valid message format object found
For to test this scenario we use soapUI tool.
I tried the URL (... /XISOAPAdapter/HelperServlet?action=FindChannel ...) in IE and got the following response :
<?xml version="1.0"; ?>
- <s:ChannelInfo xmlns:s="http://sap.com/xi/WebService/xi30">
<channelID>11ccbb96a7f3349c895a005c9bc09cb7</channelID>
<name>CC_Soap_Sender_TestWS</name>
<type xmlns:st="http://sap.com/xi/XI/System">st:SOAP</type>
<direction>INBOUND</direction>
<party />
<service>BS_..........IDB_DEV</service>
</s:ChannelInfo>
so I think that this service is OK .
Thanks in advance for your help,
AlbertoHi,
1) Check the URL once again- check for the extra spaces at the end of the link.
2) please refer below blog i hope it will help you
http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/40611dd6-e66e-2910-f383-e80fb44f9cd4?QuickLink=index&overridelayout=true
Did you check the page no 14 of the document which has the same problem - in problem analysis it has mentioned that check the URL as well as proxy setting of internet browser.
3) Try to create the ID objects manually (Sender Channel and Sender Agreement).....when we use the wizard a * gets introduced in the unfilled (unused) fields (party etc) ....however when manually created the unused fields are left blank.
4) Check if all the ID objects are available in SXI_CACHE.

Regards,
MOhitIn same context, what I observed is that the FTP adapter throws above error if a file is send again for translation...ie; when i try to use the same file for testing putingit in FTO dir , FTP adapter hangs throwing above error.
Even after few runs of other files.
Is it something related to the security feature of the product which prohibits sending the contents of message if the same contents are send previously?
Actullay I had never faced such issue before & use to do the testing with same file itself.
oai_agent_error has following entry in internalid column:
MetadataManager_RepositoryConnectionErrorWithoutOID
When I kill the adapter, the same msg is picked up by the subcribing adadpeter(dbadapter) & puts the data into the table.
Tough I m fixing the above issue as below:
1- kill the FTP adapter
2- remove its entries in componentinfo table.
3-deleting all rows in oai_hub_queue.
4- stop other adapters.
5- Stopping & restarting the repository again.
Still not sure whether error throwing by adapter is expected functionality in iStudio, or something is missing in the setting done in my setup?
Regards.

Adaptive RFC 2 gives error: com/sap/ide/jco/service/internal/R3Service
Hi,
I've run into the following problem about NWDS. This happens as I create a Model. It appears there is a new version of the Adaptive RFC Model, which is called Adaptive RFC 2 Model.
1. Right click on Models, and select Create.
2. Double Click on Adaptive RFC 2 Model
3. The error pops up. It says "An error has occurred. See error log for more details. java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError". Then if you click details you get "An error has occurred. See error log for more details. com/sap/ide/jco/service/internal/R3Service "
If you know which log to have a look, or what this error is about please let me know urgently. Any help if much appreciated.
Thanks,

Receiver File Adapter:Variable substitution :FATAL ERROR
HI all
as per the previous thread :
<b>Receiver File Name Variable Substitution :payload: Fatal Error
in our idoc to file sceanrio, we are using simple <b>graphical mapping.</b>
for dynamic file name , variable field is at <b>Target message type</b>,So on using <b>Variable substitution</b>, again the error is same :
SAXException while parsing XML payload: Fatal Error: com.sap.engine.lib.xml.parser.ParserException: XMLParser: No data allowed here: (hex) .
<b>Our XI Component version : 2004
WAS 6.4 SP 15</b>
Thanks
ARAshutosh,
There is nothing to do with your mapping programs. Its the mistake in ur reciever file adapter configuration for variable substitution.I asked u whether u changed message mapping in order to implement the UDF!!
Did u tried checking the audit log. Ok just to see where u are going wrong, instead of using Payload :... in Variable substitution use Message:..... and give some interface name so that to check whether the file is created with Interface name.
Juz give a try!!!
Best regards

Adapter-Specific Message Attributes - error
Hi, I get this error in the RWB:
Could not process due to error: com.sap.aii.adapter.file.configuration.DynamicConfigurationException: The Adapter Message Property 'FileName' was configured as mandatory element, but there is no 'DynamicConfiguration' element in the XI Message header
Any Ideas?
The code looks like this:
DynamicConfiguration conf = (DynamicConfiguration) container.getTransformationParameters().get(StreamTransformationConstants.DYNAMIC_CONFIGURATION);
DynamicConfigurationKey key = DynamicConfigurationKey.create("http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/File","FileName");
String ourSourceFileName = conf.get(key);
return ourSourceFileName;Hi,
><i> I want to dynamically create the directory and filename, based on the message content.</i>
This is possible. The problem in your code is you are using the get method..
<b>String ourSourceFileName = conf.get(key);</b>
This line is used to get the filename. Now you do not have a sender file adapter and so you cannot use this.
To set the filename, use the code,
<i>DynamicConfiguration conf = (DynamicConfiguration) container.getTransformationParameters().get(StreamTransformationConstants.DYNAMIC_CONFIGURATION);
DynamicConfigurationKey key = DynamicConfigurationKey.create("http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/File","FileName");
conf.put(key,FileNameforTarget);</i>
FileNameforTarget will contain the filename!

Special characters in sender soap adapter provoke HTTP 500 error
Hi,
SAP R3 is sending a SOAP message to PI through SOAP adapter.
When the payload does NOT contain german characters like ü, it works fine.
However, when the payload DOES contain special characters, the SOAP adapter replies with an HTTP 500 code error.
If I use SoapUI to send the soap message, and setting UTF-8 as the encoding in the program options, it will go through fine. If I change to ISO-8859-1 it will fail.
I'm thinking in two options:
- Make sure that SAP R3 sends the message in UTF-8 format (I think this is happening currently), as if SoapUI works, then probably R3 is not using UTF-8.
- Force the adapter to use UTF-8. Is this possible? In the sender SOAP adapter I've added AF_Modules/MessageTransformBean (type local EB), and then Transform.ContentType for parameter name and --> text/plain;charset=utf-8 for parameter value. The sender adapter will fail then for every message, with or without special characters.
Anyway, in this link (http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwpi71/helpdata/EN/a4/f13341771b4c0de10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm) it seems to say that the sender soap adapter cannot be extended with modules, so maybe that's the reason why it fails when trying to add a module.
ThanksIf I use SoapUI to send the soap message, and setting UTF-8 as the encoding in the program options, it will go through fine. If I change to ISO-8859-1 it will fail.
I'm thinking in two options:
Check the use of option 1 ..... the URL which SAP is using to send the data can containe the encoding information.
Check this SAP note: https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/856597
From the above note:
Q: What character encoding is supported by the SOAP sender adapter?
+you can supply the encoding information with the xmlenc variable in the request URL as in+

MAIL Sender adapter going in to error
Hello Experts ,
We have configured one mail sender adpater with a custom module to read the attachements in the email message. This was working fine before.
We recently had a restart of the PI servers. After that the channel is going in to error. The first error as per NWA logs is :

After that whenever it is trying to process a message its throwing the below error :
exception caught during processing mail message [588]com.sap.aii.af.lib.mp.module.ModuleException
Has anybody faced thsi error before? Please help!!!
ThanksHi VR
Have you tried swapping by Payload name?
Please try it out with the following configuration, and remove any extra lines - there are duplicate key names and values in your configuration.
You should be able to see the successfully swap by payload name in the audit log as shown below.

HTTP adapter - 500 Internal server error
Hi Experts,
I have configured a B2B scenarion in which i am using HTTP receiver adapter to send data to vendor.I have checked my configuration every thing is fine but i ended up with the error as below.
SXMB_MONI:
PLAINHTTP_ADAPTER">ATTRIBUTE_SERVER
HTTP server code 500 reason Internal Server Error explanation Internal Server Error
And the queue status is saying red in sxmb_moni also the error in SMQ2 is as follows
XI Error ATTRIBUTE_SERVER.PLAINHTTP_ADAPTER: Queue
I have implemented the notes 804124,807000 but no luck.Also i have restarted the J2EE server and done the soft shutdown but no use.
If i look into th queue scheduler in SMQR its in INACTIVE.
Any hint will be helpful.
Thank YouHi
The Plain HTTP adapter is not part of the adapter framework, so you cannot see anything in the adapter monitor.
Log on to the server, where the XI is installed. Can you ping the receiver host? Can you put the URL of the receiver as browser address, does that work?
HTTP 500 can be any problem at receiver side. Are you sure, that the payload fits to the receiver requirements?
Please refer this thread answered by Stefan Grube
