hi,
Actually i have used AttachmentType..MetaData is the class which i created for implementing AttachmentType as it is Interface Class. Here is the code of MetaData class.
public class MetaData implements AttachmentType,java.io.Serializable{

  • Call to ALDP 3.2 dataservice using  Mediator API throwing validation error

    Hi,
    Call to ALDP 3.2 dataservice using Mediator API with request doc having xsi:type (eg: <ns1:searchBy xsi:type="ns2:ImplXXXIDType">) is throwing validation saying that it is unable to resolve the namespace ns2 .The namespace ns2 is defined at root level. If the namespace ns2 is defined at the element level like this
    <ns1:searchBy xsi:type="ns2:ImplXXXIDType" xmlns:ns2="http://www.xxx.com/xyz/datastructure/1/"> it is working fine. We never had this issue with ALDSP 2.5 Mediator API.
    Any suggestions or help would be most welcome!
    Thanks,
    Gkumar

    Ok. Now you need to put enough information on the case for someone to investigate. Please attach instructions on how to create a data space that will show this problem. Since customer support will not have your database etc. , if you just create an empty ds function in the same ds as the one that has the problem, like so...
    function dummyFunction() as element(....)* {
    and then replace the () with the output from the Test View so it looks like...
    function dummyFunction() as element(....)* {
    <myElement ....>
    <otherElement ...>
    </myElement>
    Once you have a dummy function like that which demonstrates the problem, export your dataspace and attach it to the case.
    If you anticipate some of the questions that customer support is going ot ask you (including providing a reproducer), you will save yourself many days (or weeks) of time.

  • Oracle BPEL Protlet using Workflow API

    hi,
    Can we develop remote portlet using Oracle Workflow API? If so can you tell me how can we do this?
    Thanks,
    Gomathi

    For the Java API, please take a look at the Java Doc in c:\orabpel\docs. You can also learn about those API by looking at the implementation of the BPEL console (given that the BPEL console is built mostly on the public API of the engine. There are also a few tutorials (02.Invoking A BPEL Process) which highlight how one can invoke a BPEL process through the Java API both locally and remotely).

  • Error using Workflow API to retrieve result of closed instance.

    Hello,
    I have been attempting to use the workflow Java API to retrieve the payloads of open and completed instances of a particular BPEL Process. I have been able to use the IInstanceHandle.getField method to retrieve the payload of an active/open instance but I am having difficulty with the IInstancehandle.getResult method to retrieve the result of a closed.completed instance. The error I receive is: "Scope not found. The scope "BpPrc0.1" has not been defined in the current instance. I have checked out the audit history for this instance and have seen this particular scope scattered throughout the XML. Any ideas on what may be causing this issue or something I should be looking for?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
    Use the getField() method:
    Object field = handle.getField("outputVariable");
    This returns a HashMap with the payload as one of its entries.

    There are underscores on the file name, but there is no space. When I add the file from the library (using the UI), the image is getting added.
    But adding through the powershell is giving the issue.
    I have checked this:
    http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/sharepoint/en-US/e810ad03-81ef-4fa6-aab8-ddc896a13ebf/getting-error-during-uploading-a-document-using-powershell?forum=sharepointdevelopmentprevious
    but did not help.

  • Using DI API, getting error when connecting to database:

    The server is 2003. The sqlserver is 2005.
    We have a button that calles the DIapi function Connect().  He gets the following error: [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Conversion failed when converting the nvarchar value 'N' to data type int.
    We then tried to connect into another database in SAP we got the following error:
    1).[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Conversion failed when converting the nvarchar value 'UDOXX_Contract to data type int.
    There is a user-defined object called 'UDOXX_Contract', but our Add-On does not use any user-defined data object, so that must be from another add-on.  I really dont know anything about these user-defined objects.  Anyone have any idea what can be causing this problem, or what i can look at concerning this?
    thanks
    Bill

    Hi Bill,
    I am not sure why it is giving you the error messages and I have never seen these errors before. What you can possibly try is to see what SQL statements it is trying to execute. You can accomplish this with the SQL Profiler.
    Are you sure you're connecting correctly? Please post your code for the connection here.
    Hope it helps,
    Adele

  • Using SRW api : strange error message

    Hi all,
    i am using the srw api to generate reports out of the database. here is the procedure i have written:
    CREATE OR REPLACE PROCEDURE Create_Reports
    AS
    v_paralist PORTAL.SRW_PARAMLIST;
    v_ident     PORTAL.SRW.JOB_IDENT;
    BEGIN
    v_paralist := PORTAL.SRW_PARAMLIST(PORTAL.SRW_PARAMETER('',''));
    PORTAL.srw.add_parameter(v_paralist, 'GATEWAY', 'http://my.ias_machine.com/reports/rwservlet');
    PORTAL.srw.add_parameter(v_paralist, 'SERVER', 'repserver);
    PORTAL.srw.add_parameter(v_paralist, 'DESFORMAT', 'PDF');
    PORTAL.srw.add_parameter(v_paralist, 'DESTYPE', 'FILE');
    PORTAL.srw.add_parameter(v_paralist, 'DESNAME', 'w:\transfer\pdfs\eventdriven_test.pdf');
    PORTAL.srw.add_parameter(v_paralist, 'REPORT', 'testreport.rdf');
    PORTAL.srw.add_parameter(v_paralist, 'USERID', 'username/password@exampledb');
    v_ident := portal.srw.run_report(v_paralist);
    END;
    The following error has occurred during execution:
    ORA-01849: hour must be between 1 and 12
    ORA-06512: at "PORTAL.SRW", line 290
    ORA-06512: at "PORTAL.SRW", line 774
    ORA-06512: at "PRAMA.CREATE_REPORTS", line 16
    ORA-06512: at line 2
    Neither in the report nor in another table which i use for this , i have a column with date or time datatype, so why does this error message occur?
    Do you have any ideas?
    Katharina

    If I run this report locally in reports builder it works without problems. Is it possible that the setting system time of the computer has something to do with this error message? After testing and troubleshooting the last days I found out that the report runs without problems only in the morning until 12.00 AM (?). In the afternoon and evenings I get this error message...
    Has anybody similar experiences?
    thank you!!

  • "Add Operating System Installer Wizard" Throws Error When Adding OS's

    Good Afternoon All -
    Okay - I just installed SCCM 2012 in our production environment - whoo hoo!
    Going through the initial setup and configuration, I had a few errors that I had to take care of, but was able to figure out what caused them OR just uninstall / reinstall them fixed it.  I've got a new issue I can't figure out, though.
    On my SCCM 2012 Primary Site Server, I created a folder named Images and shared it to my SCCMAdmin account (full) and SCCM Admin group (full).  Inside of it, I created sub folders for each of the OS's that I want to have installers for.  For now,
    I am working with Windows 7 Professional SP1 x64.
    In the console (signed in as SCCMAdmin), I go to Software library, then Add Operating System Installer Wizard.  I type in the UNC path going to shared folder, then sub folder holding the ISO file and click Next.  I then get an error saying
    "The specified path does not contain a valid operating system or you do not have permission to access it.  Specify a valid path."
    Perhaps I'm doing something wrong, but here's what I've tried to fix it so far...
    - Tried pointing it to a folder with the ISO's contents extracted as well as to the Sources folder
    - Downloaded the ISO from TechNet so that I know it was fresh - nogo
    - Tried adding a Windows 8 ISO I had laying around - nogo
    - Checked folder share permissions as well as security ones.  I even gave Everyone full access - nogo
    - Checked SCCM component and site status - green across the board.
    Any ideas? - Thanks!
    Ben K.

    Sorry to bring up a relatively old post, but wanted to relay my experience with this same problem.  In my case, I knew all permissions were correct, but I received the same error message.  Turns out the problem was that I had only copied the
    install.wim file to my Images directory.  I then directed SCCM to the Images directory and got the error message.  The reason for the error was that SCCM is looking for the folder structure that is on the DVD, namely, the "sources" directory.
    By the time I figured this out, I had already copied the entire "sources" directory to the root of my Images directory.  I moved all of these files under the Images\Sources directory and went ahead and copied the rest of the DVD to the Images directory.
    After doing that, I was able to complete the wizard as expected.  Hope that helps someone to not have to waste the same 2 hours that I just did.  :)

  • When trying to print to PDF from a sales program we use it keeps throwing errors

    When several people try to print to PDF from MAS90, it will save it and create a file as it normally does. However, it does not open in Acrobat 9 Pro as it normally does, and displays the famous error "Acrobat could not open 'xxxx.pdf' because it is either not a supported..."  Yet when you manually open the file from the file system, it opens just fine.
    So to rehash what I just said, when I print to pdf, it asks me where to save, the notification said the printing completed, adobe opens and displays error. If you click on the file, then the file opens just fine.
    However several other people do not have this error while trying to print to file from mas90. Does anyone out there have any idea what could possibly be causing this error to be displayed?

    Hi ftd12300,
    Are you saving the PDFs you're creating to a network drive or are they being saved locally?
    Do you have this problem when creating PDFs from other applications such as Notepad?

    If I try and send file as attachments from the tmp directory, then everything works ok, but if I try to send the same file from any other directory, then it doesn't work. Can anyone help? Is there something wrong with the code, I'm not aware of anything that would make it directory specfic. Permissions are the same on /tmp as the new directory /NRS/Data/SystemX which I'm trying to send the file from now.

    well
    if u see the end of ur mail it shows the attachment dir there in which u have specified the address..why don't u do a change there or better have some in parameteres in the procedure for it..that would help in choosing the attachment directory on users wish?
    hope i am getting the problem right..if not kindly correct me in understanding the problem.
    thanX.

  • Attachments help - C# using Obect API

    I'm in my first attempt at integrating GW functionality into a C# application. I am not an expert C# programmer either. Thus far I've been successful at getting logged into GW, creating a new mail message and sending it successfully. However adding code to attach a file to my message returns an exception from the GroupwareTypeLibrary with the unhelpful error message "Unknown Error". Below is my code. If I comment out the line:
    objMessage.Attachments.Add("c:\reg.log",1,"reg.log ");
    the program runs successfully, happily sending my mail to the recipent mailbox. I know the c:\reg.log file exists and I have permissions to it.
    Any advice as to what I'm doing wrong would be of tremendous help, as I've already search and cruised all the forums on GW API I can find to no avail. Running GW 7.03 I think on client and server side.
    using System;
    using System.Collections.Generic;
    using System.Text;
    using System.IO;
    using GroupwareTypeLibrary;
    namespace GWEmailTest
    class Program
    public static void Main()
    GroupwareTypeLibrary.Application objApplication = new GroupwareTypeLibrary.Application();
    GroupwareTypeLibrary.Account objAccount;
    GroupwareTypeLibrary.Messages objMessages;
    GroupwareTypeLibrary.Message objMessage;
    GroupwareTypeLibrary.Folder objMailBox;
    GroupwareTypeLibrary.Recipients objRecipients;
    GroupwareTypeLibrary.Recipient objRecipient;
    objAccount = objApplication.Login("dpuls", "", "password", "", "");
    objMailBox = objAccount.MailBox;
    objMessages = objMailBox.Messages;
    objMessage = objMessages.Add("GroupwareTypeLibrary.Message",4," ");
    objRecipients = objMessage.Recipients;
    objRecipient = objRecipients.Add("dpuls","","");
    objMessage.Subject.PlainText = "Here's the message from C#!.";
    objMessage.BodyText.PlainText = "Here's the report you wanted.";
    objMessage.Attachments.Add("c:\reg.log",1,"reg.log ");
    objMessage.Send();

    Markus,
    Thanks so much for your quick reply. I appreciate your willingness to help me overcome my ignorance. Here's what I found:
    objMessage = objMessages.Add("GW.MESSAGE.MAIL", 4);
    results in a C# compiler error "no overload method for 'add' requires '2' arguments". This tells me the third paramater is required for the GroupwareTypeLibary COM object, so I added the third null parameter back in, eliminating the compiler error. Then I still got the same "unknown error" exception back from the COM library as before.
    So I went back to my shotgun approach of trying variations on parameter passing (instance variables instead of literals, etc). I noticed at one point when I tried another test file that I got a compiler error on a string literal of the path\filename "c:\csharptest.txt". Aha, says I ......
    To make a long story short, by happenstance, my "c:\reg.log" parameter gets read in C# as containing an escape sequence reference, i.e. "\r" and when I changed to another test file it read "c:\csharptest.txt" as an INVALID escape sequence "\c". The fix then was to correct the problem of the reading of escape sequences in my string literal by changing my line of code to :
    objMessage.Attachments.Add(@"c:\reg.log","1","");
    Problem solved! Thanks again for your help.

    The function "Add()" takes only 2 parameters, 'ClassName' + 'ObjType'.
    'ClassName' stands for the sort/subtype of message you'd like to create.
    'ObjType' stands for 'draft' or 'personal'
    Try the following:
    objMessages = objMailBox.Messages;
    objMessage = objMessages.Add("GW.MESSAGE.MAIL", 4);
    The rest should be fine; the code for adding the attachment seems OK.

    Hello Ravi,
    Please take a look at: Add attachments to the Interactive form of a Web dynpro application
    Please take a look at my reply there on Mar. 29, 2007. I am not sure but i assume that you are using Web Dynpro for Java. Attachment capability is available with NW04s SP10 (both runtime and NWDS). Although, SP09 contains the required web dynpro runtime changes but the API has only been made part of SP10. Follow the note numbers provided therein.
