Add effects (rounded corners) to an embedded HTML video frame?

Is possible to add effects (rounded corners) to an embedded HTML video frame?

Yes, you can.. however it isn't that simple. Take a look at this thread:

  • Round Corners Effect Can someone explain what's happening?

    I just don't get what's going on here... I have this shape, a bent rectangle and I need it to have rounded corners. When I apply the effect Round Corners the shape is transformed to a completely diferent shape instead of just applying round corners on each corner. See image below. What am I doing wrong?

    Now you've done it!
    What's happening well I would say it was not working, which means it is a bug.
    However you can get it to work if you do it one of three ways.
    Draw your rectangle then give it a round corner effect or convert it to a round corner rectangle
    then give it either a warp effect or go to Object>Envelop Distort>Make with Warp and then expand.
    You can expand the warp effect as well.
    The third way is to make a round corner rectangle and either do the warp from the Object menu or do it as an effect.
    Otherwise the explanation for the result you see is it is a bug. It shouldn't happen.
    I think this might have been reported.

  • Rounded corners before app store

    Hi. How can I get my app icon with rounded corners (exactly how it will look in app store) before app store submission?

    Application Icons
    When iOS displays your application icon on the Home screen of a device, it automatically adds the following visual effects:
    Rounded corners
    Drop shadow
    Reflective shine (unless you prevent the shine effect)

  • Round corners of vector shape?

    Ive drawn a vector shape (a triangle), how can I round the pointy edges? Ideally I would do this numerically and be able to change it for all points on the fly. Thanks

    While there's no way to add "live" rounded corners to arbitrary shapes, you can modify rounded corners manually by using Sharpen Points, which is the button just to the left of Fillet Points. You can select two points that result in a rounded corner, click Sharpen Points, and it will miter them into a single point, then you can apply a new rounding value.

  • Round corners in FH

    Darrel,
    You complained in another thread that FH can't round corners.
    It's possible to round both inner and outer angles of closed
    irregular
    paths, including composite paths, if you apply the Inset Path
    Xtra four
    times.
    Example is for a 4-point corner radius. Use rounded caps and
    joins for all
    steps:
    1. Inset path -4
    2. Inset path 4
    3. Inset path 4
    4. Inset path -4

    Ah. Interesting. In the past, I've had to reply on using
    EXPAND STROKE,
    which produces bad geometry after you convert to outlines.
    > 1. Inset path -4
    > 2. Inset path 4
    > 3. Inset path 4
    > 4. Inset path -4
    Interesting. Highly unintuitive and laborious, BUT it seems
    to work! Thanks
    for that tip!
    If FH were ever to be updated again, it'd probably be fairly
    trivial for
    them to add a 'round corners' XTRA that simply does runs a
    macro of the
    above steps.

  • Why can I not embed html video into a Muse slideshow widget?

    I have an existing slideshow widget in place and when I upload html video (click on image in slideshow, object, insert html) it puts the video in a seperate box un-linked to the slideshow. I can get the video in with a composition widget, but I need to use a slideshow widget. Site is here:Main_Mltipages and the video needs to be added to the main slideshow.

    Hello,
    You can not insert Embedded codes in Slideshow widgets.
    If you want to replace images with embedded HTML video , please use Presentation Composition and place them in Target.
    You can find it from Object > Insert Widget > Composition > Presentation

  • How to outline the Round Corners effect?

    Hi,
    How do I outline the Round Corners effect?
    I have drawn a rectangle outline, and applied the Round Corners effect. I need to now outline both the stroke (easy) *and* the round corners effect. What I need is a path, containing the outline including rounded corners.
    I'm trying to export an illustration to XAML and it doesn't seem to support the round corners effect, thus it needs to be part of the path and not an effect.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks!

    A side note (probably already requested):
    Wouldn't it be coherent if the Expand Appearance command eventually were accessible right on the Appearance palette? That would be its native location, it seems …

  • Logic for HTML rounded corners in custom controls.

    I am getting rounded corners through html code( I used Divs) but could not display the same in SAP system.
    HTML CODE:
    element.style {
    background: #fff;
    margin: 10px auto 10px;
    min-height: 250px;
    border-radius: 15px;
    border: 1px solid #fff;
    width: 270px;
    box-shadow: 2px 2px 2px #ccc;
    Is there a possibility to display rounded corners in SAP system.

    There are a two ways to make rounded corner rectangles, but you'll still need to slice up the image to use the rounded corners in a CSS-based layout.
    To make rounded rectangles:
    (1) Use the Rounded Rectangle Autoshape (it's in the drop-down selections beneath the regular rectangle tool)
    (2) Draw a regular rectangle and change the rounded settings in the Property Inspector - you can choose either pixels or percent in CS4. (Percent rounding was available in previous versions of Fireworks and is backward compatible; pixel rounding is new to CS4.)

  • Is there a way for export to create rounded corners?

    I love creating layouts with Fireworks, but it always bothered me that it didn't recreate any rounded corners.
    When CS6 came out with the CSS Properties window, I was happy to see that the CSS in the Properties window faithfully created my objects with rounded corners, so I had high hopes that the regular export would include this markup... but it didn't.
    My current work-around seems very frustrating.  I export my file as HTML with CSS images... I get a perfectly rendered page with one exception... the corners are still square.   Then, I go back to Fireworks, open the CSS Properties window, then cut and paste the tags for the corners one by one into the CSS file.
    It seems to me with such heavy emphasis on CSS integration, that  the export function should include the this code too.
    Am I doing something wrong?  Or is this still an unsupported feature?

    Use the CSS Properties panel to extract and copy CSS for the selected object on the canvas. It has no integration with the CSS and Images export workflow OR the HTML and Images export workflow (the latter of which produces a rigid, image-based, html table layout). HTML and Images export is really only suitable for clickable prototypes. CSS and Images export is really only suitable if you like re-writing all the CSS to match your normal workflow.
    General workflow:
    1) Add effects to vector shape (corners, drop shadow, glow, gradient fill, border, opacity, etc..)
    2) Open CSS Properties panel. CSS properties for selected object are displayed.
    3) Click the Copy All button in the panel.
    4) Switch to Dreamweaver or your preferred web editor.
    5) Paste the CSS into the desired class, id or element rule.
    6) View in Live View or Preview in Browser to see results.

  • AP Div with Rounded Corners

    Hi All,
    I want to draw an AP Div but I want it to have rounded corners.  The reason being is that when I add a seperate background it will be more obvious and look better.
    If anybody knows of a better way of adding a body of text with it's own background and rounded corners please can you let me know how to do it?
    Many Thanks
    Big_Gee

    Wow Big_Gee!  I think that's a Big_Question!
    For a start, you can add rounded corners using CSS3 but it isn't widely supported accross all browsers.  I don't think that DW will add those CSS rules but it won't take too much to find sample code on the web with a quick Google search on CSS Rounded Corners or something.  Nancy O has recently responded to a rounded corner question here: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/657158?tstart=30.  I don't konw if it makes a difference that you want the effect on AP Divs or not.  I haven't read that you can't.
    Adding a background image is achieved with CSS and you might be able to think about putting the rounded corners on the image in your graphics editor.  That will depend partly on how flexible you site is and whether users can increase text size in the browser.
    If you are using AP Divs (position: absolute) you need to be a bit cautious.  General advice is to use them very sparingly and when other options don't achive what you want.

  • Round corners missing

    I'm part way through a problem that may yet be resolved by re-RIPping a PDF. But I thought I'd raise it anyway in case
    there's an explanation.
    I have placed images behind round cornered text frames and applied the round corners to the images at the point where
    they coincide with the corners of the frames (that is, two corners rounded, two corners square) by placing a round
    cornered image in a frame and then cropping the frame on one side to cut the corners square.
    That has worked without problems. But in one frame I only wanted one corner of each image to be rounded, and there
    wasn't enough spare on each image to crop the frames. So, using the pen tool I added a node either side of each rounded
    corner I wanted to square off, then dragged the nodes to coincide with the real corner node, and it squared the corners OK.
    So I have images which have been set to have rounded corners, but three of the corners have been edited back to squared
    off. The fourth, rounded, corner then coincides with the rounded corner of a text frame above.
    This all looks fine on the PDF. But on the RIPped proof, the rounded corner has gone, and I'm seeing an "ear" of the
    squared-off picture behind the rounded text frame. Both pictures appear like this.
    I'm suspicious that it's only the images that I have doctored the corners on that do this. But the PDF looks OK.
    I've re-made the PDF and I'm waiting for a new proof. But I wondered whether anyone can suggest an explanation - if
    indeed it's anything more than a glitch on the RIP or at proofing.
    It's gone through an Apogee workflow, by the way.
    k

    You could save yourself a whole lot of grief, I think, if you selectively rounded just the corners you choose using the corner effects sample script.
    If you need different rounding on different corners (as I used to do for one client) you can select the frame path and add a node either side of the corner, then delete the corner node itself and drag the control handles of your new nodes along the vertical or horizontal axis to make pretty much any curve at all.

  • Rounded corners - different in CS4

    Hello,
    In CS3, to create a square or rectangle with only some of the corners rounded, I would do the following:
    1. Create a square/rectangle
    2. Apply the Effect > Stylise > Rounded Corners effect to it
    3. Create a new square, and align it to the corner I wanted to be square
    4. In Pathfinder, do Add to shape area
    When I do the same in CS4, the rounded corners on the first shape disappear when I do "Add to shape area" in Pathfinder.
    Does anybody know of any reason why this would not work in CS4?
    I've attached 2 screenshots below that show the results in CS3 and CS4.
    Thanks for any help.

    Pathfinder Shape Modes can be applied either as an Effect or as an ordinary uniion of the paths. In versions prior to CS4, the default for those buttons applied an Effect, which you would then Expand to "nail down" as an ordianry path operation. You could optionally AltClick the Shape Mode Pathfinders to cause them to be applied as ordinary path operations.
    In CS4, the default/optional behaviors were swapped. Now the default is to apply a normal path operation, and AltClicking applies it as Shape Mode Effect.
    CS3 will yield the same result as you are getting in CS4 if you AltClick the Shape Mode Pathfinder instead of just clicking it. So inversely, I would expect that in CS4, you can get the same result as in CS3 if you AltClick the Shape Mode.
    Related, the Filters menu was removed in CS4, so I assume Round Corners is only applied as an Effect which has to be Expanded to make it an ordinary path.

  • Add effects to video does not work

    I have a motorola ROKR E6 I am able to use it as a webcam in ichat on my mac mini. But when I try to add effects to it iChat says connection problem. I tried this on photo booth as soon as I launch Photo Booth while ROKR is connected Photo Booth crashes. But if the ROKR in not connected it does not crash. Is this problem with my iChat or is the problem with ROKR E6?

    IS the Logitech camera in either of these two tables
    http://www.ecamm.com/mac/iusbcam/configs.html
    If so on the right does it say it needs a Mac Driver (macam or ioxperts or possibly branded from Logitech)
    Or does it says it will work with the Mac OS after 10.4.9 ?
    IF it needs a driver have you installed it ?
    This will allow at least iMovie to see the camera.
    This is because iMovie can see many formats of Video signal.
    iChat can only see DV imput (or converted imput from certain USB cameras)
    When the camera is a USB one it will fall into two categories.
    1) the Newer UVC (USB Video Class ) Compliant cameras that the Mac OS 10.4.9 and above can use in all apps
    2) those that are not USB Video Class compliant that need a driver.
    The for iChat to see the second group you also need the iUSBCam utility as well as the Mac Driver.
    Are you talking about the Logitech or the Mobil phone camera ?

  • Box with rounded corners displays as rectangle in Web Browser

    I am using the box control (IBoxObject) in my Crystal Reports with rounded corners. However the box displays as a rectangle with square corners when viewed in a web browser. I have tried this in IE 7.0.5730.13, Firefox 3.0.3 and Chrome 0.2.149.30 all give the same problem.
    The interesting thing is that the boxes display correctly at design time and when exported to PDF, but they wonu2019t display correctly in IE/Firefox/Chrome. Here are the specific settings for the box:
                    CornerEllipseHieght = 375
                    CornerEllipseWidth = 375
                    Crystal Reports Version 10.5.3700.0
    I have also attached an image to try and clarify the problem.
    [Picture showing Box at design time, in a Web browser and when exported to PDF|http://i38.tinypic.com/10p6k1v.jpg]
    Thanks in advance for any help with this issue.
    -John

    Thank you Ted, this was my take on the problem but it is good to have a confirmation.
    There are CSS (HTML) solutions for creating boxes with rounded corners, such as [SpiffyBox|http://www.spiffybox.com/] and [CSS Rounded Box Generator|http://www.neuroticweb.com/recursos/css-rounded-box/index.php?idioma=en] and many more that can be found using [Google|http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=cssboxeswithroundedcorners&btnG=Google+Search&meta=].
    Do you know of any plans to support rounded corners in the future?
    Thanks for your help!

  • Making a photo with rounded corners

    I just followed both of these instructions to create rounded
    corners on a rectangular image:
    http://www.enghiong.com/how-to-make-rounded-corner-edges-using-fireworks.html/
    http://www.joycejevans.com/tutorials/Fireworks/FWMX/roundecorners/rc_crn.htm
    What am I missing? Both of them show the transparent canvas?
    I drew the rectangle, rounded the corners, pasted inside and all
    the other steps and saved it. When I use in my html file, the
    background shows!
    Any help with this is so appreciated.

    Here you go. It's usually a good idea to use a white rather
    than black
    object to paste inside of.
