May seem elementary but having dificulty finding out where to add an entry for a new db so I can acces it from our report server.
I didn't set up the Oracle Reports Server and am wondering how I can add an entry to ldap so I can access database running on seperate server.
I can tnsping other dbs on same machine from report server: (unawlo1 and wlocdbt1 are running on same server and both exist in tnsnames.ora file on that server)

It also adds MRP4 view as last entry in OMT3R - Maintain Order of Main and additional Screnes automatically. Then I went to OMT3R to cange the sequence number for MRP4 view. but on clicking Save it does not ask for any TR.
When I tried copiying the TR that hold above data it only copies changes done in OMT3B and but not of OMT3R to new client.
Can anyone tell me how can I copy the changes done in OMT3R to new client? I also tried activating Automatic Transport for object V_T133S_REIHFV but it is still not asking to TR while saving.
How can I add entry for MRP4 view in OMT3R?

It is in BW in infosource 0FI_AP_03 Vendor Line Item I see this field in communication Structure and Isource fields. But not in ODS and Cube. All update rules are start routines.
how easy it is? how many way we have and What is best way to do?
One more thing please Add as a Field or Add as a attrib of any filed waht is best way.

LDAP and Notes Group Security Authentication Troubles
First, my apologies if this is in the wrong forum, but after looking at the forum names a few times this seemed the most appropriate.
I have a PDF file that I would like to have access restricted to a certain group on my organization's directory server. I'm kind of the new guy here, so I'm not 100% certain on this, but I'm pretty sure that our setup is:
A Lotus Domino LDAP server storing the directory information in a Lotus Notes database. Each user has a Notes certificate stored on the server for authentication to various databases we have on our intranet.
I've entered the LDAP server information in the Security Settings... window in Acrobat, and I'm sure its correct as I can use the same information to browse the LDAP server with Softerra LDAP browser. There is no authentication required, but the server might restrict access based on domain; I'm not sure (shouldn't matter). Anyway, when I go to Manage Trusted Identities... then Add Contacts, then Search, I can never get any results to return.
I wish to only allow users in a certain group, CN=ALLOWED - GROUP, to have access to the PDF. I feel that there should be a way to accomplish this with the Notes certificates. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong or need to do?
If something I've said is wrong or unclear, I'd be happy to try again; this sort of thing isn't my forte.

No, the CA is merely an "entity". It's your Certificate Authority, the master certificate used to sign and authenticate all subsidiary certificates. You are talking about setting this up as a PKI for signature validation and managed security, right? Or am I way off base with your workflow and leading you away from where you should be (if so, feel free to ignore me - lots of people do)?
Leonard is right though, for securing individual PDFs to a specific group you would need LiveCycle Rights Management ES. The security needs to be in the PDF itself otherwise its useless. Say you configure your security at an application level, as you are trying to do, and then someone copies the PDF to a USB key and takes it home. No longer on your network, so they can now freely open the document. -
How to add mouseListener to classes and not to main, so each object is clic
Hello everyone,
Im developing a window system for applets. I know I could use the jframe windows but I want black outlined semi transparent windows. Im working on the basic stuff now. Basically you call the constructor and send it a string, the constructor will chop up the strings at '^' chars and determine the width and height of the window from there, anyway i can do all that.
Is it possible to have each instance of my appletwindow class implement mouseListener and act upon mouse clicks separately or should i make a window manager and send mouse events from the main to my window manager? Of course if each object could have its own mouse handling that would save me having to iterate through all the objects every time there is a mouse click. Also do i need to extend component? does anyone has a clue maybe???You must have an IMAP email account in order to add additional folders on the iPad mail app.
If you go to your email account in the Mail app and look at the window where your inbox, trash folder and sent folder are - if there is an Edit button at the top of the window - tap that and then tap Add Mailbox at the bottom.
If the Edit button is not there - you cannot create folders on the iPad. Your email account is not IMAP. Only IMAP email accounts can create folders on the iPad. Any folders that you would already have in an IMAP account would sync to the device as well. -
Hello, Identity manager fail to add entries in the LDAP and database table

Well I installed identity manager 7 in a windows 2003 advanced server.
I I appended an NT server resource, a Mysql table, a solaris server resource and an ldap server resource.
I created the roles for these resources and then I assigned them to an account that I created for testing purposes.
After the aprooval, in the solaris machine, the user has been added in the user database but no home directory has been created as I didn't set the apropriate flag to true.
I the windows resource everything worked very smooth and with no problem.
In the ldap and mysql table resources I recieved a failure having error message null. and from a sniffing that I did for investigation I never saw a sigle packed arrive to the mysql server or to the directory server from the idm server.
Any ideas or suggestions on what to do ?Well the problem with the directory server just solved.
But the problem with mysql remains.
The first thing that I do when I add a resource is to test the connection.
The problem with the LDAP is that the dn was not present in the directory server. They gave me an ou that didn't exist. -
Linux client not returning all entries from LDAP
We have Solaris and Linux systems using ODS 11.1.1.5.0 for login authentication. The Solaris clients see all the users with no problems, but the Linux systems are only seeing 2161 entries. I have SizeLimit set to 5000 and LookthroughLimit set to 30000 in ODS. There are VLV indexes created and Solaris is using them. When I do a getent passwd on Solaris I see this in the ODS logs :

I see that Linux adds an extra (objectClass=tsgposixaccount) to the search filter, and I added VLV indexes for linux to match what is shown in the logs for the filter. The only piece I was not sure of was the Sort for the linux VLV, I used cn uid as Solaris uses.
Is there something I need to do to get the VLV's to work with Linux clients? I do not want to set my SizeLimit or LookthroughLimit to unlimited if I do not have to. The /etc/ldap.conf for linux are pretty standard. I did add a pagesize 1000 and nss_paged_results yes but neither was any help.

just looking at the access log, the output of the first search (the one performed by the Solaris client) basically queries/handles the first 1000 records, whereas the second search (issued by the linux client) is getting far more results even though the search filter in theory is more restrictive (having a logical AND plus: &(objectClass=tsgposixaccount) )
Did you by chance implemented the nsslapd-search-tune parameter in the dse.ldif, activating bits 8 and 16? We don't see the 'notes=F' that is generally applied when filters are skipped, but it could be due to the fact that we already have the 'notes=U' for the unindexed search on (presumably: objectClass=tsgposixaccount). And in the end, the fact that one of the components of the filter is unindexed could lead to have in the result set also entries not matching the search filter.

I want to know How to apply OSS Note 2596, The basic requirement is to to add entries in the list of possible fields in Account assignment model( Exactly in program SAPDFKA6 in screen 120).
I found the note 2596 to achieve this, and the field that I want to add is KMZEI-PAOBJNR.
I gone through the note and it is very confusing for me .. If any one knows how to achieve this or how to apply this note, please let me know.

i have a friend who was going to sync her phone with my computer to get the new update.. how do i add her phone with out her losing everything on her phone and not getting all my info on her phone..
First, create a separate login on your computer for your friend. Do this BEFORE you do anything else. Next, make sure iTunes is up to date. Then:
1. Disable auto sync when an iPod/iPhone is connected under Preferences>Devices in iTunes.
2. Make sure you have one contact & one event in the supported applications(Address Book, iCal) on your computer. These entries can be fake, doesn't matter, the important point is that these programs not be empty.
3. Connect her phone, iTunes running, do not sync at this point.
4. Store>Authorize this computer.
5. File>Transfer Purchases(To make sure all purchased content on her phone will be in her itunes library).
6. Right click in the device pane & select reset warnings.
7. Right click again and select backup.
8. Right click again & select restore from backup, select the backup you just made. When prompted to create another backup, decline.
9. This MUST be followed by a sync to restore her itunes content, which you select from the various tabs, You'll get a popup regarding her contacts & calendars asking to merge or replace, select merge.
You should be good to go. -

I have tried to research these problems I am getting, but have not been able to resolve them.
1st is the above DDE Server Windows iTunes.exe - entry point not found.
This only occurs when I try to start iTunes.
if I click ok , several times, iTunes will start but slowly.
If at any time I have to reboot my computer I get
iTunesHelper.exe - the procedure entry point asl_add_log_file could not be located in the dynamic link library ASL.dll
if I click 3 times OK it goes away.
To this end I have uninstalled iTunes and rebooted my machine then gone to iTunes web site and downloaded the latest version.
Installing it but still get the same errors on reboot and trying to run iTunes
Anyone any ideas please.

Message was edited by: YbslikTaken at face value, you're having trouble with an Apple Application Support program file there. (Apple Application Support is where single copies of program files used by multiple different Apple programs are kept.)
Let's try something relatively simple first. Restart the PC. If you're using Vista or 7, now head into your Uninstall a program control panel, select "Apple Application Support" and then click "Repair". If you're using XP, head into your Add or Remove Programs control panel, select "Apple Application Support", click "Change" and then click "Repair".
If no joy after that, try the more rigorous uninstall/reinstall procedure from the following post. (If you've got XP, although the procedure is for Vista and 7, just read "Computer" as "My Computer", read "Uninstall a program control panel" as "Add or Remove programs control panel" and assume the system is 32-bit, and you'll be doing the right things.)

I am running Windows 8. Although my contacts and notes from my Ipod touch show up on icloud my calendar entries do not show up even though they do show up in my Google calendar and my windows phone calendar. Any suggestions not already covered in trouble shooting articles?
As I mentioned earlier, you have to decide which calendar you want to use. You can either use Google or iCloud, but not both.
If you want to use your iCloud calendar, go to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Default Account (in the Calendar section) and set this to your iCloud calendar. After doing so, all new events you add to your calendar will be added by default to your iCloud calendar, and as a result, will appear on icloud.com and your computer (if it is syncing calendars with your iCloud account).
If, on the other hand, you want to use your Google calendar (as it sounds like you are doing with your iPod), simply add the same Google calendar to your phone and your computer. -
Lightning calendar is completely blank and I cannot add entries but Google calender is OK
I recently noticed that my calendar was not working so I checked for an update.
I am now on TB 31.4.0 and Lightning 3.3.2
My normal calendar name is no longer displayed in the left pane (which was Home + Google Cal) and the one I now see is called "appointment"
It is completely empty and I cannot make any new entries if I wanted to (which I don't - I want my old one back)
I've looked over many of the similar Q/As on the topic in the forum and the common responses of updating to latest releases, removing & reinstalling Lightning, opening and closing several times have no effect for me.
I don't know what's changed in my system to cause this but it's very frustrating and I would appreciate any suggestions please.

Opened Calendars and it was back without any account configured. Ok.
Turned on the Wifi again and added back the Google Calendar account. It worked.
My Company caldav account continues asking for password and never loads it. Using a different OSX user i can add the company account and load the calendar without any problem. Something is going on in my account.
I will open a new forum thread to treat it. So the solution to "rebuild" Calendar:
- Closed the Calendar application.
- Disconnect from internet (disabling Wifi, power off the router, remove the network cable...)
- Removed the /Users/<user>/Library/Calendars files.
- Logged out from Mac OS.
- Logged in.
- Open the Calendar App.
- The configuration must be a brand new one (without any account).
- Re-enable the internet.
- Go to Calendar->Add Account and add your calendar account.
- It will load your calendar account back. -
I just tried updating to iTunes 10.7 and when I try to launch it I get this error message-The procedure entry point AVCFPlayerSetDirect3DDevice could not be located in the dynamic library AVFoundationCF.dll. Them it tells me to re-install iTunes and the same thing happens again. Any Ideas?
Taken at face value, you're having trouble with an Apple Application Support program file there. (Apple Application Support is where single copies of program files used by multiple different Apple programs are kept.)
Let's try something relatively simple first. Restart the PC. If you're using Vista or 7, now head into your Uninstall a program control panel, select "Apple Application Support" and then click "Repair". If you're using XP, head into your Add or Remove Programs control panel, select "Apple Application Support", click "Change" and then click "Repair".
If no joy after that, try the more rigorous uninstall/reinstall procedure from the following post. (If you've got XP, although the procedure is for Vista and 7, just read "Computer" as "My Computer", read "Uninstall a program control panel" as "Add or Remove programs control panel" and assume the system is 32-bit, and you'll be doing the right things.)
