Add-in Compatibility with legacy Connect Enterprise Server 6

I'm hoping someone can answer this for me since I've been banging my head against the wall for some time... My organization is still using Connect Enterprise 6 and we're running into issues with the add-in; specifically with Mac 10.7+ users. We don't really have a Connect admin anymore so nobody's quite sure what to do.
I know there is an add-in available for OSX Lion, but will it work with our server version at all? Even after installing the add-in from (http://helpx.adobe.com/adobe-connect/kb/connect-add-support-mac-os.html), when we run the installer through our troubleshooting page (http://breeze.careeredonline.com/common/help/en/support/meeting_test.htm), it installs 7,0,455,0 on Windows and 7,0,454,0 on Mac - is this the latest version compatible with our server version, or is it choosing this version based on some flag that's set in our server config?
We do have a plan to upgrade to a newer version of server at some point in the future but I have no idea when that will be. I'm just hoping to be able to provide a working solution for our OSX Lion users in the meantime. I appreciate any help anyone can offer.

I don't think it is supported with Excel 2007, Anway if you try it will always issue for you with older version of Essbase.
But still you can try to install .
Goto Excel---->Tools Add In----> tick Hyperion Essbase

I have a Virgin Mobile USA blackberry. When I go into the Setup Wizard - Email setup the only option I get is "I want to create or add and email address".
How do I get the other option that says "I want to use a work email account with a BlackBerry Enterprise Server" back? This option was there before I activated the phone but is gone now. No email accounts have been setup yet.
I am trying to use this phone with a work account. I have my Enterpise Activation Password but I have no place to enter it.

Given this, I suspect actually that your account, from your carrier, does not include BES. If the above mentioned item is not in your menus, then that would likely confirm this. I suggest you contact your carrier to ensure you have a BES-level account from them.

Adobe Connect Enterprise Server 6 doesn't work on Firefox and Chrome

Hi everyone, we are using adobe connect enterprise server 6 recently the layout on Chrome and Firefox looks horrible but it works fine on IE, i have attach a photo of how it look on Firefox, any suggestion what the problem might be, thanks in advance.

I opened a new Flex project and then tried again. I finally found that it's not a problem of flash but div rendering.
It seems Firefox and Chorme don't pass mouse wheel event automatically if div layout is set to "absolute".
Although this is not a Flex issue, any idea of passing that event to flash will be appriciated. I haven't find a way to do it so far :-(
What I'm doing is editing the "index.tamplate.html" to test. I added a div to contain the div of "flashContent" and set it's style to:
    position: absolute;
    top: 150px; left: 150px;
    height: 250px; width: 250px;
    z-index: 10;
Another div's z-index is set to 1 to test the overlay effect.
The reason why I added a div to contain the original div of flash, is I cannot figure out a way to effectively edit the CSS of the "flashContent" div.

You cleared cookies and data in Settings>Safari? Did you close Safari as well before you reset the iPad? Double tap the home button and drag the Safari thumbnail up to the top of the screen to close it.

OSX 10.9 compatibility with Windows Small Business Server 2011?

I'm hoping someone here may be able to help me as our external server guys have been particularly unhelpful!
I'm the only Mac on a Windows server, which has recently been upgraded (??) to Windows Small Business Server 2011. I've recenty upgraded the work iMac to 10.9, but ever since the server change, I'm having intermittent dificulties saving files. Often, I get and error saying the file cannot be saved as I don't have permission to access the folder - which then worryingly REMOVES the file I'm trying to overwrite WITHOUT WARNING.
If I'm using Photoshop save for web, I get errors when clicking 'Save' to say that it can't, but does save the file, plus a second with a gibberish file name.
Most worryingly though, is that now on two occasions caused the iMac to crash and shutdown immediately, which is not good at all. Once was moving a file to overwrite another in the Finder, the second (today) was saving from Illustrator.
I'd noticed weird things with our old 2003 server before the switch and when I was still on 10.6 - mainly that my iMac was slow when connected (Adobe apps etc opened in a flash when unconnected, but took minutes when plugged in), but now I'm on 10.9 and the new server installed, these saving issues have arisen. (I ended up wiping the Mac and completely reinstalling everything to cure that slowness issue - never did find out what it was!).
The server guys are adamant that this has nothing to do with the server, and is all linked to my iMac - personally I'm not so sure, but I'm asking here to see if anyone else has had issues? It seems like some kind of permission problem? Do I need any special network settings for it to play nicely with the Windows server? My internet, email all goes through it, and I use it to store my work, but I'm not linked to any other server software in any way.
If anyone may have any clues to help I'd be really grateful!

Thanks for the response - this is why I'm asking though- I can't see anything on the iMac which would be causing this, and saving files to a folder on a server is a pretty basic fuction, and I can't risk the crashes. I don't see how the iMac connection would be causing this, or for the files to 'vanish' but if it is the iMac settings I'll need to find a fix. Every one else is okay, but I'm the only one using this software and filetypes. Surely the Windows software would have some kind of instructions for connecting Macs?
I was hoping someone may have experience and if any additional network settings might be needed. I will check with Apple support also to see if they have any info, but thought I may get a good response here.
What I meant by the "server guys" is that's it's an external company we pay to look after it - so I'd hoped they might have at least looked into it for me, but it's a brick wall "We don't support Macs" response... which is why I think it's unhelpful - even though they supplied the software knowing it needs to have multiplatform support...
It's really frustrating.
And I hope nobody does insist I use Windows... please... I'd have to leave....

Issues with Good for Enterprise Server

I just bought a new HTC Incredible and have connected it to my companies exchange systems through a Good for Enterprise server. I have added it two times so far and each time mail works for a few hours and then it stops. The first time I deleted myself from the goodlink server and re-added myself. Which, like I said, made it start working again, but it then stopped after a few hours.
Any ideas on what I can do to fix this issue?

Do you have the feature code for Good added to your data plan? Without it you are not supposed to be able to use the Good service.
The feature code is 73666 I think.

Known issues with imail connecting to server

IMail is not connecting to server. Can retrieve mail on IPhone and through the server's site. Checked all settings in mail preferences. All correct.

You may have a corrupt preference, re-input them (even if they look OK) and then retest.

Compatibility with Microsoft Small Business Server?

The table of Windows compatibility in the FAQ here on OTN says that all four versions (Enterprise, Standard, Personal, and Client) of Oracle9i Release 2 are supported on Windows Server 2003, and that "Server 2003" includes Standard, Enterprise, Datacenter, Web (32bit), and Enterprise and Datacenter (64-bit).
Does anyone know if this includes Microsoft Small Business Server? Microsoft SBS is a collection of components and techologies, including, it says on the box, "Windows Server 2003 technology".

Firstly, please make sure that the software is compatible with the Windows Server 2012. Have you updated this software to the latest version?
Secondly, please check if the software is listening on the proper port. To verify this, please use the command below:
netstat -an

Compatibility with Windows Small Business Server

I bought an iMac recently and it's a revelation.
I have been getting p$%^&d off with my Sony Vaio + Windows 7 setup at our small business. All the usual rubbish, no need to list it.
So I bought a 15" Mac Book Pro for work, with Office 2008 (I have that on the home iMac and it's fine for my purposes).
We have Microsoft Small Business Server at the office. My question is will I be able to sync with that - i.e. store and retrieve my documents between the Mac and the server? Or do I need Parallels and Windows 7 on the Mac? Or have I screwed up?
Any pointers appreciated thanks!

As Robert indicated, you may be able to connect with the classic Excel add-in. You will not be able to connect using Smartview.
BTW, just because you can connect, that doesn't mean that everything will work properly. Further, Tech Support will tell you it is unsupported if you have any issues and try to get tech support to help you.

Adobe Connect Enterprise Server service fails at startup

New to Adobe forums so please excuse if this is not the correct place for this topic. I am attempting to migrate database content from a production DB to a test DB and make it accessable by the test server. I did successfully tranfer all table records using SSIS but overwrote some of the server specific records. I also copied the "content" folder over to the test server as well. I went back and manually adjusted the records to reflect the test servers configuration but the service never fully starts and begins to restart repeatedly. I did restart the DB instance, Adobe and Flash services, and finally restarted the OS with no luck. The following exception is being generated:

Unfortunately, that was one of the first things we verified and increased to 10 gig and then 100 gig with no change. Ultimately, the error/issue was caused by improper login information (userID and password). Once this was aligned, the services started without issue. So, the error message was not meaningful. Now we have other issues related to content corruption/DB synch but that will require a new thread.

IE6 compatibility with 64-bit Windows Server

Is Internet Explorer 6 compatible with 64-bit versions of Windows Server 2003 or 2008?
My client needs to access more than 3GB of addressable memory (i.e. 64-bit O/S) but needs an "air gap" before they are ready to move off of IE6.

I suppose I should have added some more detail to this inquiry:
The application logic & databases are hosted on clustered HPUX environments.
Each application is accessed through a Windows Server environment, hosting the web servers.
Two separate domains access the applications (via the web servers) -
1) A client desktop environment running Windows XP SP2 (and IE6) which interacts directly via HTML
2) A Citrix farm environment providing access for Citrix WID clients. Applications are visible via IE6 running within the Citrix farm.
Citrix is currently running on a 32-bit Windows Server 2003 O/S. The Citrix clients share the available memory - with Windows Server 2003 that means 30-50 clients sharing 3GB RAM. That is insufficient for the new applications (Note: there are already other
applications accessed via this farm), hence the need for an O/S that has more addressable memory.
Changing to IE8/9 would make good sense for obvious reasons - but it will entail a huge retesting of performance and functionality on both environments as well as a new Desktop build and deployment. These delays cannot be accomodated by the project - hence
my question "Can Internet Explorer 6 run on 64-bit versions of Windows Server 2003 or 2008"?
