Add jTDS to Connection Profile Types

I am using Juno SR2 with the latest updates applied.
How do I add jTDS to the Database Development (perspective)?
Details:
Using the SQL explorer I am able to connect to and run a select statement against a SQL database and get the correct results. This tells me that this part of the installation is working as expected.
(Configured and working with jTDS)
SQL Explorer (perspective)
- Create New Connection Profile
- - Add / Edit Drivers
- - - jTDS appears in list with a check mark
(Can't configure jTDS)
Database Development (perspective)
- Data Source Explorer
- - Database Connection
- - - (jTDS not in list and don't see a way to add it)
I have copied jtds-1.3.0.jar to
Eclipse/plugins/jTDS/

This topic has been opened for a long time but I post a solution here in case someone has the same issue.
I could not add JTDS as a new driver definition for MS SQL Server (impossible to select it in the dropdown menu "Drivers").
Then I checked the version of the "Other Driver" in "Window" - "Preferences" - "Data Management" - "Connectivity" - "Driver Definitions" and the "System Version" was "2008".
I deleted it and tried to create a new one in the "Data Source Explorer" (right click on "Database Connection" and "New"). When I got to the "New Connection Profile" window, I selected "Other Driver - 2005" instead of "Other Driver - 2008" and I could configure normally my "New Connection Profile".
I do not know why it did not work with the "2008" version but the most important is to have a solution

Nexus 6004: Question about port-profile type port-channel

I'm setting up a new deployment of Nexus 6004 switches and want to utilize port-profiles as much as possible to simplify management down the road.
All uplinks to other switches, routers and firewalls will be connected using VPC:s. On the port-channels (vpc) the only thing that will change over time is the allowed vlans.
It seems that port-profiles of the type port-channel does not behave in the same way as those with type ethernet, at least not when adding vlans.
If I modify the port-profile using "switchport trunk allowed vlan add XXX" it will delete the previous config and only retain "switchport trunk allowed vlan add XXX", and not merge it with the previous config as is expected.
Question: Is this a bug or is it working as intended?

Expected behavior here would be "switchport trunk allowed vlan 3,84". This only occurs when using "port-profile type port-channel" not when using "port-profile type ethernet"

How do I add a trusted connection one time in firefox?

I have a user who is trying to access my department's external site. The pages that she is trying to access pulls data from a different domain (One in our DMZ) than the external host domain. This DMZ domain is a trusted domain and pulling data from this domain has worked well for years on multiple browsers without incident. Now for every other page that hits this internal DMZ server the user is getting "This connection is not trusted" and has to go through the manual exception dance to see her data. We host hundreds of pages and having to do this for each one is going to drive people to grab another browser quickly. I got this user working on Chrome without a problem and have tested it in IE without problem.
I have recreated the cert8.db file in her profile and run into the same problem after reboot.
How do I add a trusted connection for this domain one time?

DB drivers don't show when creating connection profile

Vista Home Premium SP1, Eclipse Ganymede 3.4.2 Build id: M20090211-1700
File -> New -> Other -> Connection Profile -> Next -> Oracle Database Connection -> Next
In the dialog Specify a Driver and Connection Details, the Drivers combo box is empty.
In Window -> Preferences -> Data Management -> Connectivity -> Driver Definitions there is already an Oracle Database 10g Driver Default, setup by OEPE. I'm not able to add a new driver, only to make copies of the existing one.
I have installed:
- Oracle Database Tools 1.1.0.200903091141
- Oracle WebLogic Server Tools 1.1.0.200903091141
Other parts of the plugins seem to work OK, I can connect successfully against WebLogic.
I was about to prescribe this plugin as a standard but this is a stopper. Any idea?

Sorry about that. I'm prescribing this plugin as a standard for a customer, and I hate the idea that some nasty things would push the development team back to other tools. I understand if you cannot give more details in public, but I'd love to know if among the issues are stoppers, so it would be a better idea to rollback to former OEPE version.
BTW, there are several broken links in the OTN page for OEPE ¿Where can I report them?I just saw these myself and sent a note to the appropriate people. In general, this forum is the best place to report issues with OEPE product and OEPE's OTN site.
OK, I you don't mind I'll post them in another thread as soon as I have some time, perhaps this weekend. I was enough annoyed by the driver issue and couldn't stand the broken links :-)

1) You need to add MMSL for sure, since thats the only way, SAP is going to recognize for material movements whether you will need a serial no. or not.
2) for specific movement types to be prompted, you have to define the -"Define flow type groups" in spro. you do the following:
a) you can define a Movement Type Group for Serial Number Profile here and assign that.
b) you can simply add a new entry for Serial no. profile-procedure (mmsl) - <<new mvt grp >> - serial no.usuage ( 03, 02 based on your requirement) - eq usage (03, 02 based on your requirement)
3) Now, you go to "Assignment of Movement Type Group to Movement Type" and for individual movement types, you assign the mvt group that you created in step 2.
Now only for the mvt types you have specified, it will or will not ask for serial nos. I have implemented it the same way, works just perfect for me.

I like to create custom profile types and add users/groups to only these profile
types. Is it possible to do?
Right now, I can create many property sets for User Profile in ebcc. But I like
to attach a particular user to a particular profile during login. Please help.

It was never intended for customers to be able to change the profile types. Additionally,
user properties are not placed in the database until they are set. Therefore,
there really isn't much of a penalty for the user profile type having many property
sets.

Connection to Sybase using Connection profile

I've been trying to configure a connection profile to
directly connect to a sybase database, but I have issues with the
drivers. At firt I was told that the JDBC drivers jconn3.jar
weren't found, so I downloaded the ones from Sybase :

Moreover, I try to create an application module with the view object which has an entity object. This entity object is connect to a table of sybase database. When I try to test this application module and enter the login id and password of the database server. It pop up and error "(oracle.jbo.NotConnectedException) JBO-25200: Application module is not connected to a database". In fact, I use ODBC to connect the sybase server. However, there is no "JDBC-ODBC Bridge" for me to select in the Connection Type of "Oracle Business Component Browser - Connect" wizard. What should I do? Thank you.

I looked it up in the mean time ...
The docs state that you only can use simple data type or java.util.list or AttributeList (which is a wrapper for any viewRow). So I guess you have to somehow flatten your complex data type or create a custom VO which holds it.

We have a Cisco ASA 5520 running 8.0(2) that we use only for Remote Access VPN.
Does anyone know how many connection profiles and group policies that are supported on the box? I have not been able to find this in the manual.

There is no limit for connection profiles or group policies that can be configured on ASA. However the numbers do depend upon the memory available in the device as the profiles are stored in memory during execution.

How do you add a icc colour profile to a mac

I need to add the icc colour profile of the printers that print my photographs onto my computer so when i do the little post production I know what im getting from them. Any ideas how this can be done.

There are two library folders where you could install them:
To install for all users install in
Macintosh HD > Library >ColorSync>Profiles
To install only for yourself install in
Your Home Folder > Library >ColorSync>Profiles

We have a scenario where 3rd Party system need to connect SAP PI Over TCP/IP and Vice Versa.
For this where we need to register the Program ID in SAP PI, but when the 3rd Party Application tries to Ping the PI system OR ViceVersa ,PROGRAM ID is Getting DE-Registered from the SAP PI.

Can't add a planning connection as a favorite in SmartView 11.1.1.3

I am trying to add a Hyperion Planning connection as a favorite. I am able to add essbase connections without issue, however when I click on the Planning connections (accessed through Common Provider Connections) the option to add as a pre-defined or add as a favorite is greyed out.
I am able to add the planning connection as an independent Provider Connection, which I like because it diplays the connection information when I pull down the form (I am not getting this same connection info when I pull down the form using the common provider connection).
My goals are as follows:
1) Limit the amount of connections a user sees when logging on to SmartView (i.e. I don't want them to see our dev and test environments)
2) Make sure that when connecting to a planning form, the connection information displays on the page. When connecting to an independent provider connection, it does this. When I connect using a common provider connection, it does not.
Any help is appreciated.

- Localisation : Americas
- Time :    Jan
Previously in version 11.1.1.1, I was proceeding as follow in 3 steps :
Step 1 put under A1 in my excel spreadsheet all the dimension which are not in column or in line therefore, I put Americas
Step 2 put under B3 my column : SALES
Step 3 put under C2 my lines : JAN
Americas
                         Jan
               Sales 100
Now in version 11.1.2.3 if i proceed the same way, Americas move to C1 and it is present as follow

                         Jan
          Sales      100
