Add New Characteristic to Info Cube

Matez,
   Relating to Standard <b>Info Cube </b><i>0PCA_C01 - PCA: Transaction Data</i>
   I added 2 Info Object[0COSTELMNT,0COSTGRP] to this Info Cube
   I modified the <b>Info Source</b> 0EC_PCA_1, to include this 2 Info Object[0COSTELMNT,0COSTGRP].
   However, in my Transfer Rule I get the following error message when I attempted to map these Info Objects in my Transfer Rule

Hi John,
You get this error because you have no such fields in your data sources. Though, you included them into cube and infosource, you cannot map infoobject with null. You have to enhance your datasource including there these two fields, write user exits to populate them etc.
But, IMHO, the whole idea of bringing into profit center cube such cost parameters as cost element and cost group is very very bad. The principles of splitting costs and profits are very different. It’s something like comparing apples and oranges. The link between these two areas is a profit – cost centers relationship.
If you want to match your profits and costs I’d recommend the following:
1.     Use CO-PA.
2.     Bring all cost relevant data into cube for costs. To put into profit cube a cost center char (or a profit center char - into costs cube) and build multiprovider on those two cubes.
