Add On costs to the Inventory at sales plant.

Hello Consultants,
My client is an automotive client we move the finished goods from Prod.Plant to sales plant . Fin. goods at sales plant are valuated at MAP with Split valuation based on serial number . The client wants to add some add on costs to the finished product after it is in the inventory of the sales plant. What are my options here? we don't have material ledger active.

The trick is showing icons and text which enlarges the tool bar. The native resolution of my screen is 1920x1080, so the height of the add-on bar makes it hard to see using only icons. Another problem was the AniWeather extension because it read across the picture of the persona and it could not be moved lower . Moving the location to the bottom of the screen eliminated the problem.
Thanks for all your help.

  • Can't automatically add shipping cost to sales order or billing

    Hi
We are looking forward to add automatically the shipping costs to the customer's sales order. At the moment, we have four possible forwarding agents to choose from and our cost simulation is working (via VA01, "Shipment cost information"). The cost is based on the weight of the ordered items.
We want that, if you choose a specific forwarding agent, the cost is added to the sales order without having to put manually the shipment cost (for example, 1$ per kg).
The condition maintained for each agent is FB00, but we can't add this condition to the sales order.
If someone have a clue how to do this, feel free to answer!
Thanks in advance for your answers.

This customization does create separate billing plan for each item, but the billing plans of item are refrenced to the header billing plan (according database field FPLA-RFPLN and screen field RV60F-KFREL), what  means that item's values are not taken into consideration.
    >
In this case it is obvious that it's not possible to have an item on the same document, which would have a billing plan different from the header. Unless, of course, you are ready to change the existing configuration or create a new item category, which would be independent from the header billing plan.
If, despite configuration, such entry is possible in VA41/VA42, then you'll have to use BDC instead of BAPI. Unfortunately, BAPIs do not have all the same functionality that might be available in the transaction.

  • EBP - creating header pricing to Order and splitting the cost to the items

    Hello all,
I need a "cookbook" to create header pricing in the Order automatically according to customer fields. The purpose is to add general costs to the items without user's intervention.
I also need a "cookbook" to split these costs from the header to the items automatially, so each order item receive the relational cost.

  • Sales Order Report Showing Cost on the Sales Order & total invoice dollars

I am looking for a report in SAP that shows you the Sales Order number, the cost on the sales order (NOT the average cost) the actual cost on the sales order detail line and then the total invoice dollars in month to date and year to date?
    Thanks,
    Linda

You can use <b>T.code: COOIS </b> if Product Costing has been configured for MTO scenario whcih gives the costing details.
You can also use To.code: <b>KE30</b> if CO-PA implemented.
but if you want to link with billing, Please search for any reports in Sales information system.
One more you can create a ABAP Query Report using T.code: <b>SQVI</b>

  • Sales BOM distribute header cost to the subitems in the invoice

    Hi all,
I have next BOM scenario in the invoice:
Header Item   Sales Price: 0     Cost: 20
    Subitem 1      Sales Price: 20   Cost: 0
    Subitem 2      Sales Price: 20   Cost: 0
I can't move up the Sales Price of the subitems, because they are relevant for the pricing and the invoice.
I'd like to distribute the cost of the header item to their subitems.
It's possible? Perhaps with a routine in the copy control or an alternative calculation type in the Princing Procedure?
What I'd like to get is:
Header Item   Sales Price: 0     Cost: 0
    Subitem 1      Sales Price: 20   Cost: 10
    Subitem 2      Sales Price: 20   Cost: 10
    Thanks in advance

  • Hide the cost and margin fields on Sales Orders and Invoices

    Hi all,
I need to hide the cost and margin fields in Sales Orders and Invoices. We sell our products to our employees sometimes, hence we don't want them to know cost and margin information.
    Can this be done?
    Cheers

Go to VOV7 & as per the Item category ,de - select the Check Box Determine Cost.
Else remove the Condition Type VPRS & Margin Condition type from the Pricing Procedure

  • Change the Inventory

My concern about average cost is the impact on Production Order costing in general.  Part of this may be due to my overall lack of in depth understanding of how average cost works for our different order types:
    1) Make to Order
    2) Make to Stock
    3) Buyouts
    4) Combined production orders
    5) Complex fab production orders
I am uncertain about how an average cost system will coordinate with the Costing Sheet.  Following are the questions that have come to mind so far:
What is the “actual cost” that is used to calculate the average cost?  Is it the sum of the actual expenses (ie, confirmed quantities, confirmed times and Costing Sheet calcs)?  Or, is it the planned expense prorated for the quantity shipped (what the SD environment and Sales Order Stock call “actual cost”).
Is there configuration within the set up of an average cost system where different production order cost elements are specified as “relevant” or “non-relevant” for inclusion in the average cost.
Which orders are relevant for average cost calculation.  Is it just the Make to Stock?  If not, given our current strategy we could have a problem with the cost of buyouts impacting average cost (since they look like a stock order - type PP04).
What happens when we do unplanned Make to Stock (ie, when we have to buy labor and / or material from non-standard sources to satisfy a unique customer need)?  Is it desirable to have this scenario rolled into the average cost calculation (which I presume impacts the valuation of inventory)?
Is average cost location specific or company wide?  Could the cost in every location be different if we are on average cost?  Do we have a choice in the matter?  Does executive management have a preference (I’m thinking of the absorption model philosophy of “single market competitive costs”)?
What are we going to do with inbound freight?  This is currently part of the standard cost buildup in the ZCOST process.  Assuming that the Costing Sheet does roll up, it may be desirable to add an inbound freight element to the Make to Stock.  I assume Procurement would have to do something similar for as-is material on the purchase orders.
Where does the average cost for new items come from?  Is there a way that Procurement “jump starts” the system?  Is it the Purchase Order?
I assume that we will be using the field on the MM called “Moving Price” – how is that calculated?  Is it for a finite period where really old stuff drops off or is it from the beginning of time?  Do we get a choice in the matter?
I would appreciate if some answer these individual questions.
    Thanks

    Hi CheapestGamer,
Great question about our inventory system! I always check and make sure the item I want is available before I go into the store so I don’t leave disappointed I didn’t get what that I wanted because it was sold out.
I know that we are continuously striving to improve our systems and make them better, faster, stronger. Just recently in fact, we rolled out a new register system to the stores full of numerous improvements and upgrades. With that said, I too have noticed the system updating more quickly, and have seen exactly what you described in your post.
Thanks for noticing our hard work, hopefully we can continue to impress!

  • Costs of the product calculation lack in the profitability analysis

    Hello there,
A group of students and I are currently working on a SAP project which is about to implement a full cost accounting in the SAP system (ERP). At first we used a case study reading (Friedl,Hilz,Pedell), some important components for calculating the products like u201Ccosting sheetu201D, u201Ccost component structureu201D and u201Ccosting variantu201D do exist already.
For our project we had to insert an additional primary cost center. For that reason we also added new components (the above given ones). After that the costs for our products could be calculated in the right way. We also booked supplies and stated the quantity of sales. Our problem is that the Profitability Analysis (CO-PA) does not show any costs of our cost centers (material input, manufacturing costs, overhead costs) only the earnings. We did not add any u201Cattributesu201D, u201Cderivation rulesu201D or u201Cvalue fieldsu201D but fulfilled all requirements in the Customizing menu (u201CAssign costing key to productu201D, u201CAssign costing key to productu201D, u201CAssign value fields for cost component structureu201D).
The first time when we used the case study reading and therefore another company code everything worked fine. We think that the problem might be that the costing key is not attached to the products.
Thank you for any help and suggestions,
    Kind regards!

In the same area as where you assign the costing key to the product, there is also an entry where you need to define the costing key. You don'tr mention that you have done that.
In the user menu for Profitability Analysis, there are also a lot of tcodes that will help you investigate the flows of values and derivation of characteristics. They are very helpful in most cases.
