Add Pic to a playlist?

Is it possible? The album pic, only shows at the first track.
So be able to add pics to a playlist would be great
Someone who knows it is possible?
Sorry for my bad English :P
Hope for answers soon

Do you mean that the album art only shows up in the first track? You have to add it to each track. Be sure the track is actually playing and then add the art. Sure is slow but your coverflow will have all it's pictures. If you put the wrong album art you can delete it by pressing control(apple) i which will bring up the get info window. Select Album Art and select the picture in that window. You will then be able to delete the art.

  • How do I add certain songs and playlists to my iPhone but not others?

    Hi all,
I recently installed iTunes 11.0 onto my MacBook Pro, and I yearn for the days of far simpler content management.  All I want to do is add certain songs and playlists from my computer onto my iPhone without re-syncing the entire thing (every time I do, sound files that I created for work find their way onto my phone, and I have to re-delete them every time).  But I can't figure out how to simply add ONE song or ONE playlist to what is already there.  In the previous version, it was so simple--just point, click, and drag.  Now I can't figure it out and I feel like an idiot.  Can anyone show me how to do such an absurdly simple thing?
    Thanks,
    Neil

When you sync your phone with your laptop (or other device that has the songs you want), go into your music preferences and choose "Selected playlists, artists, albums and genres." This should allow you to select the three songs you want from your library. Make sure to click or tap on "apply" or else the changes will not be saved. Let the phone completely sync and those three songs should be in your phone's music library.
    Hope this helps!

  • HT204406 How Do You Add Songs To Your Playlists With Match?

I bought a subscription to iTunes Match.  I'm using iTunes 10.6.3.25 on a PC with a Windows 7 OS. When I attempt to drag a track from my music collection to an existing Playlist, a window containing the following warning appears on my screen:
"iCloud playlists can only contain songs from your iCloud music library.
If you continue, this (name of Playlist) will be removed from iCloud and will be available on this computer."
I can click onto my choice of one of the two boxes below the message.  One says Remove Playlist & Continue.  The other says Cancel.
I'd like to be able to add songs to my Playlists at any time and set Match so that it backs up the Playlist.  How can I do this and avoid the above message that I'm receiving from Apple?

I was having this very same issue and by reading through the posts I learned to update iTunes Match. I subscribed to iTunes Match a while back but for some reason, maybe through an iTunes update, iTunes Match was switched off. I turned it on and it updated. After that I was able to add songs to Playlists. Hope this helps, if you haven't already figured it out. Cheers.

  • While a song is playing, how can I easily add it to a playlist?

When I listen to my music and I hear a song I want to add to say a "workout" playlist, I have been told, to go to playlists, edit the "workout" playlist and search for the song I want to add.  Searching through thousands of songs while I'm running or walking.  There has to be a easier way!  When a song is playing, I would like to an option or something that allows me to add it to a playlist right then...not reverse engineer it.  Is that possible?

    There isn't, sorry!
But when you choose to add sth to a playlist, it allows you to type the name of the song, no?

  • I ordered a ringtone that came as a song and did not appear in a position to be added.  It did not show up but came through as a song and asking me to add it to a playlist.  This is not what I wanted to do and I promptly follow the prompt to "Buy"

I ordered a ringtone that came as a song and did not appear in a position status to be added.  It did not show up but came purchased as a song and now asking me to add it to a playlist.  This is not what I wanted to do and I promptly follow the prompt to "Buy more options" to get what I thought was a ringtone.  Please help!

The ONLY place to buy a ready made ringtones is from the iphone itself from the itunes app, then "More">"Ringtones"
If you bought from your computer, then you need to create the ringtone.  You can create a ringtones from just about any song/sound file for free.
Google will find several ways to do this.

  • I am unable to add songs to a playlist, what do I do?

I am unable to add songs to a playlist.  Any suggestions.  All of the things I've previously done to add songs don't work now.

I am unable to add songs, even when iTunes Match is turned off.  Also, if I purchase a song on another device, it will appear in my playlists, but I cannot find it in the Music tab or when I search my library.  Anybody have a resolution on this issue?  All was well until iTunes 10.5.1.

  • I bought a song on my iphone and even after syncing I cannot add it to a playlist other than purchased. I dont want to buy the song 2x!

I cought a song thru itunes on my iphone 4s and when I try to sync to my library, it still wont let me copy/paste or drag/drop the song into a playlist. It is stuck in the "purchased on your iphone list" and that blows! HELP!

    Hi lini08,
The article below will show you how to transfer purchased music from the iPhone to your computer.
The article has more details and screen shots, but the basic information is quoted below.
Once the song is on your computer, select Music > Songs or search for the song in your library.
You should be able to add it to any playlist you want.
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iOS device or iPod to a computer
If you want to transfer iTunes Store purchases from an iOS device or iPod to a computer, be sure to authorize the computer before connecting the device. After connecting your device to the computer and its icon appears in iTunes, go to the File menu, then Devices, and choose Transfer Purchases from "(Your device name)".
Or, you can Show Sidebar from the View menu, and then right-click (Windows or Mac) or Control-click (Mac only) your device in the iTunes Source list, then choose Transfer Purchases from the shortcut menu that appears.
Please note that this feature works only for items that were purchased on the iTunes Store. Any items imported from audio CDs or acquired from other sources will not copy from your device to the iTunes library. Please see this article for more details.
I hope this information helps ....
    Have a great day!

  • When adding folders to iTunes 11, they don't show up in the library.  On one folder add, it created a playlist (not what I wanted).  On the second folder, it shows nothing.  Never seen this before.  Advice?

I added my first folder of MP3s and it created a playlist, but didn't show up in the library.  When adding a second folder, it didn't show up anywhere.  I can do a search for them in the search window, and it finds/plays them, but I want to be able to browse them in my library.  These are not MP3s downloaded from iTunes, but are personal files located on my hard drive.  Can anyone help?

I have a Dell that's running Windows XP. I have found that itunes is very temperamental. this works most of the time... except on my son's computer that's running Windows Vista.
Go to your library in iTunes. Then go up to file and try one of the options (import, add folder to library, or add file to library).
Adding a folder is the least work. You can add all the files from a folder with one click... if it works. Remember that itunes is temperamental.
If that doesn't work, try adding a file. The problem with that is that you have to go through the whole process for each and every file (song, movie, etc).
Sometimes the only thing that works is to import.
I haven't gotten iTunes to work on my son's computer (Windows Vista).
I can't get support from apple in any way at all! They are good about creating electronics that appeal to us But they are lousy at support. If anyone figures out how to access support (where you can actually contact Apple) please let me know ([email protected]). I've been trying for 6 months.

  • How do I add pics from my PC to my phone in several folders?

I would like to find a simple tutorial for this function but all the tutorials deal with music and I have ZERO interest in putting music on my phone. I would like to put pictures from my PC on my phone. I have managed to transfer entire folders several times but each time it deletes the previous folder. I would also like to know how to add a single photo to an existing folder once I have created the folder.
There is no need for me to edit because my pics are already edited and the way I wish them to appear.

This tutorial is very straight forward. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4236
Keep in mind you cannot select multiple folders to sync, iTunes will do exactly what you describe.
What you can do is sync one folder and all the contents of that folder will sync.  In other words, create a folder with all the pics you want synced, you can seperate them into subfolders and then select that "master" folder as your sync point.

When you’re finished adding songs, click Done.To find a song by album, artist, or song title use the Search field. To hear a 30-second preview of the song before adding it, double-click the song’s title or click the Preview button .

  • How do I add a song or playlist to an ipod touch on someone elses computer?

I'm borrowing my brother's ipod touch for a week and I want to add a playlist from my itunes library on my computer (not the computer my brother stores his music on.) How do I do this without erasing all of his music?

You cannot sync and do this.
You could manually manage the music and click and drag, I believe. Although that may erase the music as well.

  • How do I add to a current playlist and How do I get the additions to download on my phone?

First I tried to change a playlist and add more songs.  Now it won't let me add the songs.  Before, I was able to add them, but they would not download to my phone.  The old playlist keeps on downloading.  I think because it is in iclouds.
Help.  How to I add songs to my current playlist and get them to download on my phone.  If I can't do that, how do I get the old playlist deleted from icloud, my computer and my phone so I can start over.  I don't have a lot of room on my phone.  Before I download a new playlist, I have to get rid of the old one.
My phone is an iphone 5C LTE 8GB
It has a capacity of 5.3 GB and 3.2 GB are available.  It is version 8.2 (12D508)  Model MGFD2LL/A

I think I have this posted in the wrong area, but don't know how to change it.  I figured out how to download songs to my playlist in Itunes 12.1.  It seems that it does not work unless I delete the songs from my library first so they are only available on icloud.  Then I move the songs to the playlist.   After I am done adding the songs to the playlist, I press the cloud next to the playlist and the songs are downloaded to my iphone.  If I press sync first, I end up with the old playlist back on my computer minus the deletions and new songs.
I am now having problems getting my new purchases to transfer to my library.  If anyone knows how to get Itunes 12.1 to do this automatically, please let me know.

  • When I add to my iTouch playlist is doesn't show up in iTunes

I like to manually manage my music so I dont use the sync option and never have, but for about a year now when I add a song to my playlist on my iTouch and connect it to iTunes it doesn't show up under "on this iPod". It use to bout a year ago, but after one of those updates it just stopped doing it. Also, when I add a song, iTunes updates ALL my songs, videos, apps and it backs it up... EVERY SINGLE TIME. I have over 3000 songs and it become very annoying to wait 10 sometimes 15 minutes just to add a 3mb song. I gave up a decided to sync everything to see if the problem would be solved but, not only did my music get wiped but it tooks hours to add all my music back AND it still wouldn't sync the playlists. Help!!!
PS. I consider myself to have a lot of experience with the iTouch and iTunes, so don't post stuff like: "reset your iTouch" and "re-install iTunes" unless you KNOW it will work.

They will only be on your computer's iTunes if you put them there. If you are in a country where you can re-download music then they should show under the Purchased Link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes. If they don't show there then you can connect your phone to your computer's iTunes and do File > Devices > Transfer Purchases to copy them over.
