Add scene selections under more than one menu

I have created a menu which has:
- Play movie -
- Scene Selection -
- Extras -
Within "Scene Selection" there are 6 scenes to choose from.
However, I would like to be able to select scenes (which are differnt to the 6 scenes in Scene Selection) from the "Extras" menu as well.
Is this possible ?
Do I have to edit the menus somehow ?

Alas not possible with Elements. You need a program like Adobe Encore do more complexed menus.
The dvd menus in Elements are set up in a special way that cannot be changed. I tried changing the prefixes and things like that, but Elements won't have it. If you can work with Photoshop (I am not sure if you can accomplice this with Photoshop Elements) you can make your own dvd menus with your own designer buttons. Copy a menu from the dvd directory and study its structure.

Is there a way to put an item under more than one calendar at the same time?

I use the calendar to keep track of not only my schedule, but my entire family's. For years I had a calendar labeled 'kids.' Now as they're getting older it would be easier to have an individual calendar for each child. Easier for me to track where they are and they could have they're own calendar on their iphone or iphone touch since we all share one cloud account. However, frequently more than one is at the same activity. The calendar program will only allow me to select one calendar to place an event under; as soon as I select another, it deselects the first. Is there a way to place an event under more than one calendar?
(Since I'm still the one driving that needs to know date, time, place, etc type details I don't want them adding it to their own schedule - maybe - on their devides and synching through cloud)

You can create many calendars. Here's the tip:
Example: you have 1 son and 1 daughter.
In iCloud ( https://www.icloud.com )
Create 1 calendar called Son ( Choose a color to tell them apart )
Create 1 calendar called Daughter ( Ditto )
Create 1 calendar called Kids
Since you are the creator, you get to see all calendars combined.
Send invitations to each of them
Son gets Son and Kids calendars
Daughter gets Daughter and Kids calendars
So if there an event for Son, just put in that calendar
If it's for both then enter it in the Kids calendar
Likewise for daughter.

Add Suppporting Details for more than one periods at the same time for the same Account in Planning.

As we know, in planning form, we can add supporting details to one cell for the level 0 members intersections.
But can we do that as below:
add supporting details for more than one cells at the same time?
I tried to do that in workspace and smartview, neither is working.(my workspace version 11.1.2.2.300.20)
I wonder if i am not with the right version, because i don't know how to get the below.
Can any one explain?

I have tried in Smartview for a simple form where my period dimension was in columns and accounts in rows.
You need to select multiple period and select supporting details, it will show those selected period for which you can add the supporting details.
You can add these details and then submit the data in the form.

If your Import Settings are for Apple Lossless, AIFF, AAC or whatever the majority of your files are, convert MP3s to that file type.
I've presently got 17,000+ files in my library, and they're ALL MP3 or M4B(Audiobooks). If they weren't when I got them, I converted them. Saves a LOT of hassels with just this type of situation. Besides I have two non Apple MP3 players that WON'T work with other file types besides MP3 so, EVERYTHING I have has to be MP3.

Selecting/importing more than one clip from camcorder using check boxes

Hi.
I've just bought a new camcorder (SD Card) based. I used to use Mini DV tapes.
Now when I import into iMovie9 I am able to select which clips I import. I always choose manual import because I like to save different clips into different topics.
I am able to uncheck all the clips and individually select each one I want to import but I'm baffled about how to select more than one clip at a time and then check the import box. e.g. select clips 3 to 15 and then having to check the box once instead of checking ever box for each clip. There must be something like hold shift down while selecting but I've not managed to work it out yet!
Any help is appreciated.

Hi Paul,
I import clips as you do - by manually ticking the box in each clip. Like you, I haven't figured out a way to select a group of clips in one go - that would be very handy! Sorry I can't help - I'll be interested to see what answers you get.

How can I 'select distinct' using more than one column.

Actually, DISTINCT applies to all columns in the result.
Distinct is not a function, you cannot do distinct(column1, column2, ...).
As a matter of fact it doesn't make sense to expect distinct applies to only one column, because you do not specify any criteria on how to select the values for the second column.
A final note: you can do distinct(column1), column2, but this will still apply to both columns!
Here're some examples that will all return both rows from the set, where set is: (1,1), (1,2):
select distinct val1, val2
from
select 1 as val1, 1 as val2 from dual
union all
select 1 as val1, 2 as val2 from dual
select distinct val1||'-'||val2
from
select 1 as val1, 1 as val2 from dual
union all
select 1 as val1, 2 as val2 from dual

Can I add more than one menu to a master page?

I have been struggling with this and can't find any tutorials. I am trying to add another menu to a separate page that only shows up on one group of pages. The problem I am having is the menu titles from the one that is already up comes on and I can't figure out how to get multiple menus on one page. Is there anyone that can help? I have created a menu from scratch using some different methods, but I would like to be able to not have to do that. Thanks!

Hi Carlton,
The automated Menu in Muse picks up all the pages that have show in the Menu option enabled. So, if you want a menu that only shows a group of pages, you will need to use a manual menu in Muse, you will not be able to use the automated one.

How can I save a website as a favorite place under more than one file folder? I think I used to have this ability, now it'll only save it in one place.

What this does for me is allow me to find rarely accessed websites by looking under different kinds of categories of favorite places. If I'm restricted to only one location for the data it makes it harder to find.
Thanks in advance for any help you can give. It may still be possible to do this, and I just don't know how. In the past, if I created a new file folder and saved a webpage to the new folder, it would persist even after I saved it a 2nd time to a different folder. Now, if I save it to a 2nd folder, it will disappear from the 1st folder.

You can do a Copy & Paste in the Bookmarks Manager (Shift+Ctrl+B) to create a copy of a bookmark.<br />
You can also drag the website's favicon on the left end of the location bar to a folder into the Bookmarks menu drop down list or to a folder in the Bookmarks side bar (Ctrl+B) or onto the Bookmarks Toolbar.<br />
In the side bar you need to click to the left of the icon to prevent Firefox from opening the bookmark.

I have the following SQL statement written in MySQL that returns only one row per MODCODE with the associated DEPTCODE of AE:
SELECT DISTINCT
EL_MODULE.DEPTCODE, EL_MODULE.MODCODE, EL_MODULE.MODNAME, EL_MODULE.MODLEVEL, EL_DEPTLEVEL.DEPTLEVELHEADER
FROM EL_DEPTLEVEL, EL_MODULE
WHERE EL_MODULE.MODLEVEL = EL_DEPTLEVEL.LEVELCODE AND EL_MODULE.DEPTCODE='AE' ORDER BY EL_MODULE.MODLEVEL
However when I attempt to use this in oracle it returns three rows, could somebody point out what it is I need to change to get this working correctly in oracle.

Is it possible to make multiple playlists and set itunes so that it will not let you add a song to more than one playlist?

I have a veryl large Itune library and want to make multiple playlists so that for example when driving long hours in the car I can change to another playlist and not have songs repeated. I do realize if I noted down every song that was put in a playlist I would be able to accomplish this but it would be nice if there was some setting that I am unaware of that would keep track of this for me. Any suggestions?

To Clearify for example I am wondering if their is a setting so that Itunes won't let me add a song to playlist A if it is alread on playlist B. Any Suggestions?

How do i add my podcast to more than one category?

My podcast is listed as "performing arts", but it actually falls into three different categories: society and culture, education, and, yes, performing arts. How do I get it to show up in all three categories--or is that possible?

So only the main categories and no sub-categories. So the Store is showing 'Arts' (it can only show the first category) and as you haven't chosen a sub-category it's picked 'Performing Arts'. If you want something different you will have to add a sub-category - those available are Design, Fashion & Beauty, Food, Literature, Performing Arts, and Visual Arts. You can't correct the XML directly in Blubrry, you will have to use its provided method for adding the sub-category and I'm afraid I can't advise on that.
Similarly with the other two categories, the available sub-categories are listed at the bottom of
http://www.apple.com/itunes/podcasts/specs.html
However these will not appear on the Store page and as I indicated above it's most unlikely that anyone searching within them would find your podcast.

Copy more than one clip at a time from iPhoto to iMovie?? Please help!

Is it possible to copy more than one clip at a time from iPhoto to iMovie? I can't find a way to select/copy more than one.

OK you can leave them in iPhoto and access them from the iMovie Event for iPhoto.
If you prefer to move them to a regular iMovie Event, you can do the following.
1) right-click on one of the iPhoto clips and select "Reveal in Finder". This will open a finder window showing the clips in the iPhoto Library.
2) In a different Finder window, create a folder to hold your event in iMovie. If you are using an internal drive, create a folder using your desired Event Name under the Movies/iMovie Events Folder.
Note: If you are using an external drive, create a Folder called iMovie Events at the top level of the external drive. Then create the (Event Name) folder under this. The external drive must be formatted as MacOS Extended (journaled) for this to work.
3) Select all the clips in the iPhoto finder window that are part of this event and Move them to the Movies/iMovie Event/(Event Name) folder.
4) After you have done this for all the Events, open iMovie and let it generate thumbnails. This may take a while.

Adding Artwork (More Than One Song At A Time)

I'm adding artwork to the songs that iTunes couldn't find automatically. Is there a way to add the artwork to more than one song at a time? It would be way easier if I could just add the artwork to an album all at once. I tried listing the songs in "Album List" order and dragging the .jpg into the blank artwork icon, but it didn't take.
Please tell me that there's a way to do this; it's a hassle having to add artwork one song at a time!

At the Artwork box at lower left, click the text above the box so it shows "Selected Item".
Select all the songs for one album then drag the artwork to the artwork window or Copy/Paste it into the Artwork box.

Can't turn up the volume on more than one podcast ITunes 11.1.1

This also happened in Itunes 11.1 but when I am in list view and select all podcasts to set the volume between 95 and 100 percent when I choose Get Info a message comes up, "Your selection contains more than one kind of media. All items must be the same kind of order to view or edit them together." I have maybe 1 or two video podcasts but mostly all of them are audio podcasts. I'd like to be able to turn the sound up on all of them at one time like I used to.

Yes, it just took some time to build the waveforms for the second track. I went and got a snack, and when I came back from the kitchen the waveforms were there. Thanks!
