Add Stamp feature under Annotations tab under comment in Reader
I have created a bunch of stamps in acrobat, saved them as pdf's, and have successfully used the stamps in the stamp palette in Adobe Reader. I saved the stamps to a shared folder, and then opened a pdf in Adobe Reader on another computer that is a shared computer. When the pdf opened on the shared computer, I clicked comment, and under annotations, the only things available were the add sticky note, and highlight text tools. The Add Stamp tool was not there, nor was any of the other tools that are normally in the Annotations area, such as attach file, record audio, insert text at cursor, etc. Does anyone know how to get the add stamp tool back, or add it to the annotations area?
Thanks Jim! I had looked in the preferences for such a setting... didn't think to look in the library menu. Although I still think the Media Monkey method is better; gives you both options.

How can I add a Drawing Markup/Annotation to my stamp while it's being stamped?
I have created Dynamic Stamp and works perfect and its located in my user profile:
C:\Users\XXXXX\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Acrobat\10.0\Stamps\symbols.php
And this works just fine...
Now I want to add a line to the stamp.
I want the user to introduce the length of the line using a response box (app.response)
For some reason when I try to add the line using:

Ironically when I try to create a field (text box) using JavaScript it works perfectly ....

I am able to insert the line manually when I open the stamp file in Acrobat and add the line under Comment->Drawing Markups->Draw Line. However I want the length of the line to be inserted by the user when the user applies the stamp... Can anybody help me here?I added 4 annotations to the stamps (2 Lines, 1 Circle and 1 text box)
Then I tried to get the Annotation properties and still no good luck.
The variable is NULL
I used this script:

Is this possible to add one page under 2 tabs conditionally.
Lets say i have created one page "Page 1" under "Tab 1". Now i want the same page to be displayed fom another tab also.i.e. from "Tab 2" from the same application.I want to avoid creating copy of this page.
Such that when i am in Tab 1 and going to this page ,the newly created page should show tab as Tab1.Similarly if i am going to Page 1 from Tab 2 ,the newly created page should show tab as Tab2.
What can i do for this.

For Tab1 and Tab2, set the 'tab page' as 1 under 'current for pages' while you edit the tabs. This would add page 1 under two tabs, tab1 and tab2.

you don't need to use custom actions in order to add links to the quick launch menu. It allows to add links programmatically to the menu items collections directly, see e.g.
Adding Links to Quick Launch. From this link check the following example which adds an item under the Lists heading in Quick Launch.:

How do I get all the music on my IMAC in one ITUNES folder? We have one IMAC, with 3 sign ons for me and my 2 teens. When you add a song under one of the sign ons it doesn't add it to all 3 libraries. Before I updated to LION, We had one main library with all the songs we bought, imported from cd's etc. Then any of the three of us could add it to our own IPOD instead of buying the song agin. It is one house, one IMAC. It was working fine under Leopard.
The sort fields should generally be empty unless you've putting in custom values to sort solo artists by their surnames. You can apply common changes to thousands of tracks at once, just don't apply the wrong change because there is no undo.
It is a good idea to backup before undertaking large scale changes. See this backup tip for a suggested approach.

I just saw a new feature under my settings. I have an iPhone 4S, using Nationwide tlk&txt share 1400, with unlimited data plan. Is there a fee to set up and use the personal hotspot? If so, how much? Will adding personal hotspot change my current plan (I don't want to lose my unlimited data plan)?

Using Elements 9, how can I add a caption with names in a blank white space under a photo of a group of people?
One way is to use the Crop Tool to add add more space under the photo.
(i used a sample photo from the pse 10 samples folder)
1. Select the Crop tool and set the background color in the toolbox to the color of the added space you want.
I used white in the screenshot below.
2. Draw the Crop area around the whole photo.
3. Pull down on the bottom middle handle and then hit the green check mark.
4. Use the Type Tool to add your caption. -
Currently the Photo name is shown in the book under each photo. 1.) I would like to hide this information for printing. I played with the setting "enable/disable plate metadata" , but it has not impact, it shows the data no matter what this setting is.
2.) At the same time I would like to add my captions under selected photos. How to do this?

1) For printing, I would delete the plate metadata completely. Go to Edit Layout mode, then click on the metadata box and press delete.
2) To add captions, again go to Edit Layout mode, click the "Add Text Box" button - this places a text box on the page you're working on. You can then drag this box wherever you like. To add text, double click in the box and type away. To format your caption, click the Edit menu, then select Show Fonts. Just make sure the text is selected before you try to change the size or font.

Is it possible to add additional features, such as I had in iTunes? What I mean is: how could I add comments for example of an ebook; or the publisher?

I know that I'm able to include some notes, or to highlight paragraph; what I want to know if is it possible to make a summary of the book; or add additional features such as Publisher, if I read or not; language, etc. And show in the information for each book … In the application there's only: title, author, genre … How can add additional features as a reference for the ebook as a whole, and see them at the same level of the author, genre, etc.
For example
BOOK A AUTHOR BRETT L PHILOSOPHY ENGLISH TO READ iTUNES STORE
The first three items are the default items … what I want to include is the others (as an example) … And create a box or something to make a summary of the book.
Sorry for the bothering … but I was (and I suppose I'm not the only one) very comfortable with iTunes format for Music; but iBooks lost quite everything compared to iTunes; and it looks like a mere Kindle application.

Requirement to add new field in Location Tab of Service order
We have a requirement in which it is needed to add anew field in Location Tab of Equipment and Service order. For Equipment part , we have added the field via Enhancement ITOB0001 and activating the field via "Set View Profile for Technical Objects".
But for Service order part, we are not able to add the new field in the Location tab , please suggest how can we achieve this.Hi Deepika,
If you are not particular about having it in Location tab use Screen-Exit provided in the Enhancement IWO10018 to add an additional tab to host your custom fields. as under:
ABAPer will be able to readily follow these steps
Steps will be,
1. Create a Data type to capture the your custom values. (SE11)
2. Include your Zfield (with this datatype) through in the include structure CI_AUFK of the Order Header table (AUFK)
3. Create a project with Tcode CMOD and assign the enhancement above (IWO10018)
4. Go to Components and Click on Screen Exit
5. Here Go to Screen-painter (Blue Arrow named Layout) , Create your Field screen-box, field Text field and field Input field. In the field input field Name you should use the above Zfield details (table-field)
6.Activate the project CMOD and come-out.
Run IW31, you will see an additional tab like shown above. But here the field is nothing.
We haven''t told the system what is to be filled here.
For this in continuation to the above steps between 5 and 6, insert this step.
5a. Write your code in Function Exits : EXIT_SAPLCOIH_018 and EXIT_SAPLCOIH_019 of the same enhancement (IWO10018.)
Code to be written in exit 18:
move-corresponding COCI_AUFK_IMP to AUFK.
Code to be written in exit 19:
move-corresponding aufk to COCI_AUFK_exp.
After this exercise your Z-field will be visible in the Enhancement Tab as shown in the picture in the beginning. Now your values will be saving to AUFK table.
So, this is completely an ABAPer job.
