Add Yahoo store tags to Dreamweaver website

How do you add Yahoo store tags to a Dreamweaver HTML page? I've built a website using Dreamweaver and using Yahoo Merchant to host the online store. I've created the shopping cart in Yahoo Merchant Solutions but can't figure out how to add the shopping cart/store tags to my pages in dreamweaver.

Can you give us a link to a page describing these tags?

Dreamweaver intermittently adds extra InstanceEndEditable tags

Twice in the past couple weeks, members of the team I work with have updated templates, then tried to update a page associated with the template. The update was not successful because Dreamweaver had added extra InstanceEndEditable tags to the page.
Here's what we should have seen:

Another team member would then get the updated template and apply it to the same page, but this time, Dreamweaver would not add the extra tags.
We haven't figured out a pattern here. The templates and pages are otherwise correctly coded, and they don't have other issues. Has anyone else seen this problem? If so, is there a way to prevent it from happening? Thank you.

Unless the issue is 'reproducible at all times', it cannot be treated as a bug. In your case, since it is intermittent, I think it's more of a behavioral pattern - so from now, for a few days, can you make a note of your workflow at all times and notice when or at what stage this happens? This will help us identify its cause.

When I go to a website and then to the drop down I automatically get routed to the App Store or to other websites other than the one I selected

When I go to a website from Safari I am routed to the App Store or to another website. I hit my home button and then it takes me back to the website I selected. It is almost like a virus. Help!

How do I link an iWeb site to a Yahoo store?

Hi all,
I designed an iWeb site for a friend, she is hosted at Yahoo Small Business. She also wanted to use Yahoo ecommerce does anyone know how to link an iWeb site to a Yahoo store? Yahoo uses store tags which they tell me can't be used in iWeb I was hoping to just link the ecommerce store I created in Yahoo to a store link in iWeb like a separate page. But I don't know how or if that will work. Any help would be appreciated.

LOL, you are absolutely correct I am moaning and groaning and you are correct about the tech suport the reason I am so frustrated.
The website is www.papeteriecollections.com (iWeb)
The Yahoo store is store.papeteriecollections.com
The yahoo store is set up to the point of store tags. I was able to link the store to the site itself but not the items in the store to the items in the website. That's where the tags come in. From yahoo I copied their code from the item and then pasted it into iWeb. The link worked from iWeb back to the yahoo store, but not after publishing it. So then I tried the (html snippet) in iWeb and pasted the store tag code in there at the bottom of one of the items in my site, and order button appeared. (good thing) but it didn't work either. please see below:

How do I add a type tag to my enclosure with iWeb?

I encode my video with QuickTime, manage my website with iWeb, and upload it to the web with Transmit.
A few episodes ago, my podcasts stopped updating on Podcast Alley. Tech support pointed out the problem: There are no type tags on any of my enclosures.
From what I gather, the type tag tell you what kind file it is - ie, a .m4v
I don't have any idea how to add a type tag to an enclosure using iWeb, and I don't even know if its possible. I would think that iWeb would do it automatically.
Also, how do I change my feed? I originally just used the feed iWeb created:

But then set up a feedburner feed - which I now submit when I submit anywhere new.

Okay i am having trouble figuring out exactly where I should insert the label code and how it should look in this code. I took a look at the labels link you sent over. It is helpful, but because this drop down list has no tables and the example does, I'm a bit confuse.
Any chance you could show me an example of how a lable should look in in just one of the form items below? Then I could mimic it with the other items (with respect to each different title).

How do I add an alt tag to an image in Photoshop CS5 so that it is web ready? My web developer wants me to send him all of my images with an alt-tag assigned so that he can automate the ADA accessibility of the website. I know when I choose to "Save for Web & Devices," I have the option of how much metadata I want to include to the levels of : None, Copyright, Copyright and Contact Info, All Except Camera Info, All. I don't want the audience to be able to view all of the metadata because a lot of it is sensitive with administrative notes. Any ideas?

To anyone else who may encounter this issue in the future, here is a work around:
File > File Info:
Sacrifice a metadata field in the description tab. I chose document title and description. Click OK.
File > Save for Web and Devices:
Choose to save All Metadata.
Leave things here on your end, and have the web-developer map the code to display only the appropriate metadata field.

Do you mean a Horizontal Rule (the <hr/> tag)?
Click where you want it to appear and go to Insert > Horizontal Rule, or drag and drop from the Common heading of the Insert window.
If that's not what you're talking about, could you be a bit more descriptive as to what you are trying to accomplish?

How to add 'forum' feature in my personnel website ?

I am new to web-development and Dreamweaver. I have one static personnel website which was developed by using Dreamweaver. I used to give online training to college students. Interacting with students all the time is not possible. I would like to add 'forum' feature in my personnel website, so that student can post their Queries and I can get opportunity to answer in my free time. And access to my forum is allowed to registered users only.Please share the tutorial for implementing this idea to my website using Dreamweaver .

Start with your web hosting provider. Some hosts have Forum plug-ins you can activate in your server's Admin or C-Panel. If no such feature comes with your hosting, you'll need to find out which server-side programming languages and databases your server supports. Also make notes about the versions of each as this will effect which Forum solutions you can use.
Then figure out what features are most important to you:
Price range,
How many forum members can it support at once?
Automated or manual Sign-up process?
Can it be customized?
Emoticons,
Avatars,
WYSIWYG editing,
How complex is the set-up & maintenance?
How about tech support?
Etc...

Both of these websites are WordPress websites and you can add sliders using any of the WordPress slider plugins. You don't need Dreamweaver to do that.
Simply do a Google Search for "wordpress slider plugins" and you will see dozens.

I'm afraid not. You'll need to finish building your CSS Layout and save your document as a Template.
Add Editable Regions for things that will change from page to page.
Save & Close Template.dwt.
File > New Page from Template.
Hit Create button.
Save.
This new child page should contain markers for each Editable Region you defined in step #1.

There is absolutely no way to stop any file you put on the internet from being downloaded. That's how the internet works.
Digital Rights Management can control who can OPEN a copy of a file and when. If you are a big company with 5-6 figure budget, this can be interesting.

Add/update asset tag into T430 bios

We received 5 T430 laptops without the Asset tag added into the BIOS.
Previously (in T410 and T420 we could run a tool to add this information, I searched the website and couldn't found such a tool for the T430.
On this board I found one solution but ether I do something wrong or the solution doesn't work:

And then I am pointing to the solution added by Langeballe:
"Get be bios upgrade package from their website and then run the following to update the asset tag:
(This is for Windows 7 64 Bit)

I followed the steps and it does flash the bios, it does reboot but no info is written to ths bios.

You don't need to add any sort of tags to call by voice. It's built into the system. Go to Settings>General>Siri and make sure it's set to On.
To use Siri, press and hold the Home button. When the microphone icon pops up and there is a beep, say, "Call <name from your contacts>"
Consult the manual for more information on Siri.
