Where do I add a label tag in the code of a library item?

Hello,
For 508 compliance purposes I need to add a label tag to a list menu that I've created as a library item in Dreamweaver. Can anyone tell me where in the following code should the label code be added and how it should appear. The actual site is http://www.graphicmechanic.com/DEKALBCOUNTY/index.html. My 508 checker is telling me that I need to add a label to this form.
The code is:
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8">
<link href="../cssfiles/lbistyles.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css"/>
<form action="" method="post" name="form1" class="style52" id="form1">
                    <span class="style26"><strong>I WANT TO:</strong><br />
                    <img src="../images/5x5.gif" alt="layout graphic" width="5" height="5" /><br />
                    </span><span class="style26">

  </span> </label>
</form>
Any assistance would be appreciated.

Okay i am having trouble figuring out exactly where I should insert the label code and how it should look in this code. I took a look at the labels link you sent over. It is helpful, but because this drop down list has no tables and the example does, I'm a bit confuse.
Any chance you could show me an example of how a lable should look in in just one of the form items below? Then I could mimic it with the other items (with respect to each different title).
Here is the code:
<form action="" method="post" name="form1" class="style52" id="form1">
                    <span class="style26"><strong>I WANT TO:</strong><br />
                    <img src="../images/5x5.gif" alt="layout graphic" width="5" height="5" /><br />

    Is it possible to add own JSP tags to the palette?
    Currently we are using other JSP tag library like Coldbeans, Display Tag Lib, and JSF tags like ourFaces, etc.
    And we have few own JSF tags and it would be good to keep them in JSC.

    From the Help:
    Import from a hard disk
    You can import media—video, audio, still images, and graphics files—from your computerʼs hard disk, a connected external storage device, a memory card inserted in your computerʼs card slot or a card reader, or a network attached volume. You can import media using the Import Files window or by dragging files from the Finder.
    When you drag media from the Finder into Final Cut Pro, the media is imported using the organize, transcode, and analysis settings you set in the Final Cut Pro preferences. If you donʼt want to use the Import Files window to manage your import, and if you want to always use the same organize, transcode, and analysis settings, importing by dragging files into Final Cut Pro is a good option. See Import preferences for information on the Import preferences.

  • There was a "new window" and a "new tab" icon that could be dragged from the Customize window to the toolbar. In 7 & 8 there is still a "new window" icon but there is no new tab icon to be found in Customize. Where can I add a "new tab" to the toolbar?

    '''bold text''' This feature was there prior to Firefox 7 but now it can't be found.

    You can find the New Tab button showing as a '+' on the Tab bar.<br />
    You can open the Customize window and drag the New Tab button that shows as a plus sign (+) from the Tab bar on another toolbar and it will become a regular toolbar button like the New Tab button that you have in Firefox 3 versions.<br />
    If you can't find the New Tab button then click the "Restore Default Set" button in the Customize window.<br />
    If you want the New Tab button at the far right end of the Tab bar then place a flexible space to the left of it.

  • Can't add information and tags in itunes with Windows 8

    I just got a new computer with Windows 8.  I installed itunes and moved my library but it won't allow me to add information and tags.  The box won't open when I right click on a track, and when I try to do it from file and get info the area is greyed out.

    Repair iTunes Security Permissions
    Right-click on your main iTunes folder and click Properties, then go to the Security tab and click Advanced. Use the Change Permissions... button grant to your account (or the Users group) and SYSTEM full control of this folder, subfolders and files, then tick the option to Replace permissions entries... which will repair permissions throughout the library. When complete switch to the General tab, click in the Read-only check box to clear it, then click Apply.
    If you don't have the option to change the permissions then use the Owner tab and Edit... button to take ownership from an account with administrator privileges. Tick the option to Replace owner on subcontainers and objects.
    Repeat with the media folder if it isn't stored inside the main iTunes folder.
    You might also want to kill any "mystery" identities that have come over from the old computer...

  • How to add a br tag in headerText attribute in af:column in jdeveloper

    Hi,
    I want to add a <br> tag in headerText attribute of <af:column> in jdeveloper 11.1.1.5.0. I want to add this in a String getting from a java bean.
    for eg. i have month and Year so i want to print it in the format given below
    2012
    Jan
    and for taht i hav to add a <br> tag in the headerText attribute of <af:column>. for eg.
    String month= "2012" + "<br>" +"Jan";
    bt this is printing as it is in the header text .
    thnx.

    Bind the headerText property to the managed bean for the taskflow / jspx.
    Write the code in the getter of the headerText.
    Alternatively you can use EL in the headerText property on the jsff/jspx .. for e.g if there are different attributes for the month and the year you can use
    headerText="#{bindings.month.inputValue} #{bindings.year.inputValue} "

  • Dreamweaver CC Library Item with rollover link produces two body tags. Why?

    I have a library item which is used in two pages and works correctly if it does not contain a rollover arrow with a link taking you to the top of the library item. This produces the following near the top of each of the containing pages:
    </head>
    <body class="indexpage">
    <!-- #BeginLibraryItem "/Library/homemenu.lbi" -->
    <p><a id="top"></a></p>
    Note that the Library Item does not itself have a <body> tag in this original, working version.
    The problem arises when I insert an image rollover with a link up to #top (which is defined as above).
    First, the Library Item has the following near its top:
    <script ...>
    ... various functions to handle the rollover
    </script>
    <body onLoad="MM_preloadImages('../images/uparrowred2.gif')">
    <p><a id="top"></a></p>
    Secondly, the containing pages now have the following near the top:
    </head>
    <body class="indexpage" onLoad="MM_preloadImages('images/uparrowred2.gif)">
    <!--#BeginLibraryItem "Library/homemenu.lbi" -->
    <script ...>
    ... various functions to handle the rollover
    </script>
    <body onLoad="MM_preloadImages('../images/uparrowred2.gif')">
    <p><a id="top"></a></p>
    It can be seen (shown in red) that the Library Item has correctly transferred the onLoad instruction to the containing page's <body> tag and at the same time altered the address of the GIF image from '../images/xxx.gif' to 'images/xxx.gif'. [The root folder with the various html pages has a number of subfolders including 'images' and 'Library']. But now, unfortunately, the containing pages have two <body> tags with the second one pointing to the wrong location for the GIF image.
    Would someone please explain what is going on. I can think of three possibilities: (1) I may be doing something really stupid, (2) there may be a bug in Dreamweaver CC or (3) Library Items may not be allowed to contain anything "complicated" like a rollover. I did see a very old (2007) discussion in this forum suggesting that Library Items were rather limited in what they could contain, but over the intervening six years I would have expected things to have improved.

    Thank you, but in that case I'm not sure I understand the purpose of Library Items. Before I added the Library Item, there was nothing to preload. When I add a rollover to the Library Item, Dreamweaver creates the preloader instruction within the Library Item. Then when I include the Library Item in an html page, Dreamweaver controls where the preloader is put.
    Do I then need to manually edit what Dreamweaver has done? In this instance it would have been almost as quick to have ignored the use of a Library Item and copied and pasted the relevant code into the two pages and manually created the revised <body> tag with a preloader. In my relative inexperience with Dreamweaver, I just thought that using a Library Item in multiple pages would save me some effort when I wanted to change the content of the Library Item. As I said, the Library Item worked OK until I added a rollover within it.

  • How about adding a meta tag to the index file.....

    This is another way to get verified with Google and other search engines. Does anyone know a way that you could add a meta tag to the index file generated by iweb??
    Thanks for any help....Matt
    http://www.want2takecredit.com

    I'm glad it worked. Nevertheless you might think of uploading an html file as well. The index.html sometimes gets overwritten by iweb, thus the meta-tag would disappear and you would have to do it again. The html file instead stays where it is.
    Here's how to procede:
    When they will ask you to verify that it really is your website. “Choose verification method” select “Upload an HTML file” and now you will have to build that verification file (here’s a How-to by Roddy).
    1. Go to your applications folder and launch Text Edit.
    2. Don't put anything on the blank page.
    3. Select File/Save As.
    4. In the popup window "Save As" box enter your Google number (something like google05a23d347cXXXXXX )
    5. In the "Where" box select desktop.
    6. In "File Format" menu select HTML.
    7. Click "Save".
    8. A file will appear on your desktop called google05a23d347cXXXXXX.html
    9. This is what you upload to your server or iDisk.
    Upload that file to your main folder on your server so that it will be http://www.yoururl.com/google05a23d347cXXXXXX.html (not in the subfolder of the Sites folder named with the title of your site...*).
    For .Mac go to the Finder menu and select Go/iDisk/My iDisk/ or hit SchiftCommand(Apple)i and then go to /Web/Sites/. Drop your file into the "Sites" folder
    Entering: http://web.mac.com/username/google05a23d347cXXXXXX.html in your browser should bring up this file. If it doesn’t you placed the file in the wrong location.
    Entering: http://yourbaseurl.com/google05a23d347cXXXXXX.html in your browser should bring up this file. If it doesn’t you placed the file in the wrong location.

  • Where Is the Label Tag

    I am looking at the IPTC and EXIF data of pictures managed in Lightroom. I can't find the tag that stores the Label (the different color codes) information. I did a "Save Metadata to File" so it should be there. FYI, Expression Media stores it in the field "Urgency". I am asking because I want to find a way for Lightroom to recognize the label tags from Expression Media.

    Sorry if my previous post was a bit offensive.
    Personally I'd get Evenings Lr book. That's because I have Kelby's Lr 1 book and it was disappointment. Kelby is generally too basic information to me. He offers very cursory information. I'd also advice you to see (and buy, when they are not free, although there is large amount of great free material) some web based tutorials. I personally like George Jardine's tutorials best.
    Also there are some good podcasts in iTunes and in web generally. I might recommend for example Jared Platt's podcast and Lightroom Killertips podcast. Of course also Adobe ® Photoshop® Lightroom ™ might be good, although it haven't been updated for ages (2,5 years if I look correctly) at least in iTunes.
    I'm very interested about this one: http://mulita.com/blog/?page_id=2
    Unfortunately I currently don't have money on my paypal account and getting it there is a bit difficult because I don't have credit card. I will buy that tutorial immediately I can pay it somehow.

  • label tag: DW8 sometimes generates illegal XHTML 1.0/Transitional code

    Dreamweaver 8 sometimes generates XHTML 1.0/Transitional code
    that violates the DTD when using the <label> tag for adjacent
    radio buttons on a form.
    Consider the following example:
    1) Make a new HTML page using the XHTML 1.0/Transitional
    document type.
    2) Working in Design mode, insert a a new form element.
    3) With accessibility options turned on, insert a radio
    button. When the Input Tag Accessibility Attributes dialog appears,
    give the new button a label of "This is my label" and select the
    "Wrap..." style.
    4) Use the Property Inspector to assign a name and value of
    "choice1" to the new radio button.
    5) Using the arrow keys, position the cursor at the end of
    the new button's label text.
    6) Insert a second radio button there, and give it a label of
    "This is my second label."
    7) Use the Property Inspector to assign a name and value of
    "choice2" to the second radio button.
    Examine the resulting code. The code will be either valid or
    invalid, depending on exactly where the cursor was positioned in
    step 4. If you watch the Code window while you position the cursor
    in step 4, you will see that the cursor positions itself EITHER
    INSIDE OR OUTSIDE THE FIRST BUTTON'S </label> TAG, DEPENDING
    ON which direction you were going when you positioned the cursor at
    the end of the prior button's label. If you were moving the cursor
    from left to right, the cursor will be placed WITHIN the first
    button's closing </label> tag; if you overshot the end of the
    prior label and then backed up, the cursor will be placed BEYOND
    the closing </label> tag. In the former case, each button
    will get a separate <label> tag pair. In the latter case,
    BOTH BUTTONS WILL BE CONTAINED WITHIN A SINGLE <label> TAG
    PAIR, as in the following (illegal) example:
    <!--THIS CODE IS INVALID ACCORDING TO XHTML
    1.0/TRANSITIONAL-->
    <label>
    <input name="choice1" type="radio" value="choice1" />
    This is my label
    <input name="choice2" type="radio" value="choice2" />
    This is my second label
    </label>
    This is INVALID XHTML 1.0/TRANSITIONAL. Specifically, the DTD
    specifies that "Each label must not contain more than ONE field" (
    http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/dtds.html).
    Here, Dreamweaver generates one label containing two fields. While
    IE6 and Opera 8.0 ignore the error and display it anyway, Firefox
    1.5 follows the DTD in this case and therefore cannot handle more
    than one radio button within a single label tag; the resulting form
    selects the first value no matter what the user clicks on.

    Max
    This is happening because in standards mode browsers are ignoring the height="70%" attribute on the table that is the first element of div.t13BodyMargin because (among other things) it's invalid XHTML. This is the kind of thing that happens when the built-in APEX themes &ndash; designed for quirks mode &ndash; are thrown into standards mode by specifying a DOCTYPE.
    You can remove that attribute from the template XHTML and try the following in your CSS:
      html, body {
      height: 100%;
    form#wwvFlowForm {
      position: relative;
      height: 100%;
      min-height: 100%;
    div.t13BodyMargin {
      padding-bottom: 2em;
    div.t13NewBottom {
      position: absolute;
      bottom: 0;
      width: 100%;
    }Note there was Re: Support for non-quirks HTML mode.
    If you're determined on going down the standards route, you should check your pages against a validator and fix any other invalid mark-up in the templates, but achieving 100% compliance is unlikely due to APEX engine-generated code you have no control over.
    However, if you have no real requirement for introducing the DOCTYPE declaration and are not prepared to pursue the additional effort in achieving near-compliance, it's pointless to do so as it will only introduce this kind of issue.

    I'm having exactly the same issue. This is happening to me when coding a very simple BarChart example. The code is available as part of a tutorial (http://livedocs.adobe.com/flex/3/html/charts_intro_7.html), the difference is that the tutorial uses it as part of an MXML file, while  I'm using it as part of an ActionScript file (.as).
