Added a service without permission.

Today I found out my account has been charged for Global data plan ($25/month) from last November. After talking to CS, figured out it was added when they were handling device swapping.
I didn't request for it and any text message or email was not sent regarding account change. CS could not explain why they were not sent, but insisted regular mail was sent that we never received.  I usually don't check statement as I have paperless statement and automatic payment set up.
I tried to escalate this issue, but they just gave me corporate mailing address. Is writing a mail the only way to resolve, or is there any phone number or Email address that I can contact? I've been a customer over 10 years.

I am currently in Cameroon, Africa and after arriving here, I added Global services to my plan in hopes to be able to use my phone to call local numbers.  When I dial local numbers in Cameroon, with or without the country code, the call fails.  I suspect it may be that the phone is 3G and this area only supports 2G.  Help!

    cctga,
We appreciate you taking the time to reach out to us. I am sorry to hear that you are having trouble while traveling. We definitely want to make sure you have all available options. Normally when traveling internationally we reccommend setting up international services prior to leaving. When you added the services did you do so online or with a rep? It would be best to contact our global department in order to troubleshoot any and all issues with services while international http://vz.to/17KseUf.
    Thank you,

  • Excel VBA to access sharepoint list without permission

    Hi,
I do find solution to retrieve the SharePoint list from excel VBA but my problem now is on the SharePoint permission to the list.
I am developing this solution in excel because i don't want the particular user to access the list direct from the portal because the list contains some unique and confidential data. So what i did was created a new view in the portal with selected column
and i connect to the view from excel. So every time the user want to retrieve the data, he can run macro to refresh the data in the excel.
When i run the macro it can generate the list because i do have permission but if i run the same macro on the person machine, excel request for username and password because he don't have the permission to the list.
Are there any work around to allow the user to generate the data in excel without permission to the SharePoint list.
    Thanks for the help.

I've done this before using SQL Server Reporting Services integrated into SharePoint.
Using SSRS, create the report you want the end user to view. Then create a Report Subscription, emailing the end user (or putting it in a file share/Doc Lib) the report. If they want to run it interactively, you can enable caching on the report, which would
pull the report from the last time it was scheduled to run (the data would not be 'real time' in this case).

I've also attached two screenshots showing the project structure in FB and CRX.
Any help here would be great as I'm pulling my hair out at this point!
    Thanks

There's not an actual space in the error, it just looks that way when I pasted the text into the post.
For some additional information, I've tried going through the tutorial here (http://www.youtube.com/ADEPDevelopers#p/c/DF68F4464D4EF4E0/4/klNspQvfVMc) and here (http://help.adobe.com/en_US/enterpriseplatform/10.0/AEPDeveloperGuide/WS989a722fbb254cbe-6 f13dcd01304cbb1ac4-8000.html), however, neither one goes through the full steps of adding the Service to the axml and cxml files which is where I'm probably having trouble.
I've also looked at the StockMosaicService sample included with ADEP and tried mimicking it but with no luck. I had expected the ADEP tooling in Flash Builder to handle all this for me but it doesn't appear to be working properly now.

why does a standalone program created in Labview 8.5 try connecting to the internet when the program only reads data through the serial port? Firewalls object to progams that contact the internet without permission.
The created program is not performing a command I have written when it tries to connect to the internet, it must be Labview that is doing it. How do I stop this from happening?
Any help would be very appreciated.

    It looks that way..
"When LabVIEW starts it contacts the service
locator to removes all services for itself. This request is triggering
the firewall. This is done in case there were services that were not
unregistered the last time LabVIEW executed- for example from VIs that

This is not yet fixed in LV2009.

  • Business system/service Service without party: info needed

    Hi,
I am a newbie in XI world. I have a scenario of interfacing a 3rd party system to R/3 via XI. This system will dump a file to XI which needs to be converted to IDOC for R/3 use and later an outbound interface should send some data in a file format to this 3rd party system.
As per various blogs, I have managed to define business system and basid IR config. Since this a 2 way asyncronous interface,  I wanted to know
1> In XI, do I need to create a separate Buss System for 3rd Party sender interface( legacy->XI->R/3)
and a new Buss system for 3rd party Receiver interface.(R/3->Xi>Legacy). However in R/3 should I can create only one and assign the inbound/outbound IDOC partner profiles. ( But do the names of legacy systems in R/3 and XI have to be same)
2> What is the difference between Party and Service without Party( I saw these in ID). Do I need to define party for my interface scenario. If yes, How?
3> For testing, I wanted XI to pick files from my desktop and then post to R/3. As per various sdn threads, I realise, I need to give the IP of my PC and use Service without party. Since I am new in this area, I do not know how to define this serv-without party for my scenario. Any blogs or threads which define this would be very helpful.
    Appreciate your help and time.
    Helpful answers will be rewarded.
    Thanks and regards
    Shirin

    Hi Shirin,
For 3rd party sysytems u can directly configure in ID under bussiness service
we will choose service without party when we are having A2A communication.
A2A means application to application communication, it is used when two systems in same landscape try to communicate with each other. Systems in same landscape means both the systems are belongs to same organization or a company.
Normally in A2A communication sender and receiver is inside one organization and developer have freedom to define communication rules .

we will choose service withparty when we are having B2B communication
B2B means Business to Business communication .It is used when there is exchange of information between two different Parties or companies or landscape.
When two applications in different companies communicates with each other we call it B2B Communication.
in case of B2B every party has it own rules which must be followed if we want to communicate between different organization.

communication party (party for short) represents a larger unit, which is involved in a collaborative process. Using a communication party, you generally address a company within a cross-company process. That means we use party only when we r using B2B communcation.for example communication of two diffrent organization who r having different landscape.
The matter of Party comes only when there are number of partners included in the environment. Thats usually happens in B2B systems. The services without party usually happens in normal A2A systems; were normal applications handle the message processing between systems and no multiple partners are interested in same data that are been handled.

Business System : It is registered in SLD,We should have all the technical details to use

    we use this one.
Business Service : When we don't have all the technical details then we use the business

In ID objects tab in Business service is there, there right click and create the new business service, and fill the details like interface,...
    BUSINESS SERVICE CREATION STEPS:
You can create the Business Service in ID itself. It is an abstract unit and it will act as Business System while exchanging the messages. In ID goto Service Without Party>Choose Business Service>Right Click and say as New>Give Servie Name as your Naming Conventions and choose u r configuration Scenario to adding the same> click on create>It will create the service and u can edit the service>u can find the tabs Receiver,Sender and etc--> Add ur Inbound/Outbound interfaces and corresponding Communication channels.

  • XI Message Protocol and Value-Added Web Services

    Hi,
I have a couple of questions on the above-mentioned topic:
    - How is the enhanced SOAP format in XI able to deliver value-added web services (as described in the XI documentation)?
    - If the XI format is an enhancement of SOAP, is it again fully open or are there some proprietary pieces to it?
    Thanks and Regards,
    Bharath

    Hi Bharath,
    >>> How is the enhanced SOAP format in XI able to deliver value-added web services (as described in the XI documentation)?
value-added web services means that you can monitor
all web services from one place (with the xi monitoring features)
if you're using point-to-point connections without the XI
you have to monitor all of your flows from all those applications and not from just one place

  • How do I delete my Mobile Hotspot service without incurring fees?

I live in a small town off the beaten path. I recently decided to go back to school and do so online. No major cable companies are available in my town so I had to buy the Mobile Hotspot for internet. I purchased in January, I have not had it working correctly since I added it to my plan. I have had the sim card & the device replaced with no improvement. It wont stay connected to 4G and it always drops the internet connection. I have to shut down the hotspot, wait a few minutes, and then turn it back on. Once it is one I have internet service for about an hour then it turns off again.
Is it possible for me to cancel this service without incurring termination fees. I think as I didnt receive what was promised to me that I didnt break contract they did...right?
Would love to hear your advice. Thank you!

    Not likely going to happen.
Everyone is held accountable under the same ETF agreement, terminating earliy is going to cost you $175.00.  Unless you only have 3 months left on your plan then you can expect to pay the full ETF upon your termination notice.
Folks who have reduced or waived ETF's have a history with VZW tech support that well documents the limitations.  When VZW gets tired of replacing the device under waranty they tend to be more open to reducing or waiving the termination fees.  Your best bet here is to keep calling into VZW and working with Tech support.  Ask them to look at your history and see what options they can come up with for you under replacement or early term.
From what you have described here you do not have anything that is out of the ordinary for these devices.  MiFi's were never intended to be left online for long peroids of time.  Treating them like an always on internet connection is bound to cause momentary disconnections and gaps in service.

  • How to use KDE services without KDE?

I am actually playing around with a very interesting FVWM configuration, I found in the FVWM forum, but not using KDE, there is always something missing, like kmilo & klaptopdaemon or the KThinkBat panel applet (which is the only one using smapi for reading battery status).
I was wondering, if there is a way to start all of the usual KDE services without actually starting KDE as a DE, so I mean about everything that usually runs in the background, without kwin & the konqueror instance controlling the desktop icons and middle/right-click menus.
When I am in FVWM, I can use all installed KDE programs without problem (they even make use of stalontray as a replacement for the KDE systray), KDE on-demand-services (like KWallet) are started automatically when a program needs them, but I have no idea how to automatically start the KDE services, which normally get started when KDE starts (like kmilo). In case of kmilo, I can start it manually using the KDE control center, but of course I don't want to do that every time after I start FVWM.
Just replacing kwin with FVWM using "export KDEWM" did not work, it got pretty much messed up with a mix of FVWM & KDE (which maybe could have been fixed by killing some KDE processes, but I didn't try, because it didn't seem the be the best approach).
Anybody any idea? Anybody knows the command, how to start all the KDE services, which usually get started when KDE starts?

That's the strange thing, kdeinit doesn't do it, I already tried before (by just starting it after FVWM has come up), and I tested it again by adding it to .xinitrc:
    $ cat .xinitrc
    #!/bin/sh
    # ~/.xinitrc
    # Executed by startx (run your window manager from here)
    kdeinit &
    exec fvwm
But all it does, is the following:
    4478 ? Ss 0:00 kdeinit Running...
    4484 ? S 0:00 \_ klauncher [kdeinit]
    4482 ? S 0:00 dcopserver [kdeinit] --nosid
    4493 ? S 0:00 kded [kdeinit]
Looking into the KDE Control Center shows, that only 1 out of 11 services, which should have been started on KDE start, is actually running.
kdeinit may be the way to go, but there is still something missing. But what?

  • Is there a way to update an external dictionary for services without migrating the services

Is there a way to update an external dictionary for services without migrating the services
Is there a way to update a common external dictionary used by many services without migrating each and every service that uses the dictionary.  I have updated the table in the database and the external dictionary in our Development Environment. The external dictionary is used by many services. When I migrate the changed service to TEST/STAGE/PROD environments (NOTE: the table has been updated in the TEST/STAGE/PROD Databases), only the changed service is having the external dictionary updated. All other services that use the same external dictionary are NOT updated. I have the following questions
Is it possible to migrate dictionaries so that all the services which are using that dictionary are updated?
If the first one is not possible, Is there any other way to update the external dictionary without migrating all the services that use dictionary?

dont think so but I could be wrong
as it were I didn't like the build in audio so I connected some external logictech 2.1 speakers  but there
are times when I use headset so I bought this one
or any minijack splitter will work too so I have 2 things connected to the headset port works just fine

  • How we can limit the number of concurrent calls to a WCF service without use the Singleton pattern or without do the change in BizTalk Configuration file?

How can we send only one message to a WCF service at a time? How we can limit the number of concurrent calls to a WCF service without use the Singleton pattern or without do the change in BizTalk Configuration file? Can we do it by Host throttling?

    Hi Pawan,
You need to use WCF-Custom adapter and add the ServiceThrottlingBehavior service behavior to a WCF-Custom Locations.
ServiceThrottlingBehavior.MaxConcurrentCalls - Gets or sets a value that specifies the maximum number of messages actively processing across a ServiceHost. The MaxConcurrentCalls property specifies the maximum number of messages actively
processing across a ServiceHost object. Each channel can have one pending message that does not count against the value of MaxConcurrentCalls until WCF begins to process it.

  • IDOC - PO Creation using a service without master record

I can not find the field to populate the cost center when i create a PO using a service without master data (buy using Material Group) via transaction WE19.
The accounting information is present on "E1BPMEPOACCOUNT" segment, but the cost center and G/L Account in this segment were not recognized by IDOC because this segment is used to populate Account Assignment tab on Item Detail Level and my problem appear one step before when after I populate the service tab at Item Detail Level and press .
In few words I didn´t find the correct field to populate the cost center on Basic type "PORDCR101".
I tried populate the field COSTCENTER on the segment "E1BPMEPOACCOUNT" but didn´t work.
Maybe is there another basic type to use in this specific case?
    Thanks a lot.

  • Use-Case for Business Services (Service Without Party) in SAP XI

    Hi,
I have a synchronous scenario where I am calling a web Service from SAP R/3 via SAP XI. I have designed the Integration Scenario in the Integration Repository, where I created an A2A role for the R/3 System and a B2B Role for the Web Service. For the Web Service Party in the Integration Directory I use a Business Service unterneath 'Service without Party' as the party for the Web Service is unknown.
I realized that I cannot assign the Business Service to the defined Web Service Role when I want to use the Integrationscenario-Configurator. This only works when I ceate a Party and create the Business Service underneath this Party.
I understand that this makes sense when I am having a B2B communication like in this case although I don't have a real external Party for the Web Service.
But I don't understand for which cases I would create a Business Service underneath the 'Service without Party' as internal Systems are known and can be set-up as Business Systems in the SLD.
Does anybody have such a case where I use an 'Internal' Business Service? And is there any way that I can use such a Business Service in the Business Integrationscenario-Configurator?
    Thanks in advance.
    Alex

    Hi,
for creatting a communication channel you will have to have either the Business system, Business service.
For file systems which are generally just servers come under Business service. This is one of the place where you use Business service.

  • Business Service Without Party in Integration Scenrio Configurator

    Hi everybody
I am stucking in a small issue but do not found a related thread.
Can anybody explain me, why I cannot assign a "Business Service" of typ "Service without Party" to an Application Component? I am try to configure my integration Process and call in the directory Tools --> Transfer Integration Scenario from Integration Repository. In the following Configurator I can only assign Business Systems from SLD or Services with a Party depending on the settings of the Application Component in the Repository (Flag "External Party with B2B Communication"). If you configure the scenario manually it is possible to involve Business Services without party. But I would like to make use of the Wizard and my Customer has a lot of Systems maintained as Business services.
    Any suggestions?
    Regards Oliver

    Hi,
I have not done this type of task before.. but from the given links
see the below information was in the above first link
The following steps are then only required if the application component has at least one connection to a B2B component.
           3.      On the Business Services for B2B tab page, enter the business service that you want to use for B2B communication.
The integration process service that is already entered on the  Integration Process Service for A2A tab page is then assigned to this business service.
    B2B Component...
           1.      On the Business Services for B2B tab page, assign the business services.
Use the input help () to select the business services.
           2.      If you want to create a new business service, choose Create Business Service ().
To assign multiple services simultaneously, choose Input Help () in the toolbar of the table (only when assigning business services and business system services).

  • Using Service without party in Inbound Idoc scenario

    Hi Guys,
Can we use a Service Without Party in an inboud Idoc scenario? I want to create a Business Service without party and use it as a sender service. For the Adapter Specific Identfiers for this service I want to put any arbitrary value for the logical system for Idoc adapter (as there is no business system defined in SLD for this, we cannot get the logical system name from there). Would this work while the Idoc adapter tries to resolve the Sender Service? Would this arbitrary value from the Adapter Specific Identifier be taken for SNDPRN in the Idoc control header?
    Regards,
    Suddha

    Hi,
You can use Business system or Business Service (Service without Party).
If you use Business system then there will be direct linking with SLD while in case of Business Service you will have to manually add the Interfaces to the Business service.
But in case of IDOC sender since communication channel is not required so you can use Business service as well.
