  • Adding a checkbox to contracts screen in SRM help

    I am not to sure, but my question is can i use bbp_cuf_badi to add a checkbox to the screen and do the validations inside that badi ?
    Or do i have to modify the web dynpro adding the checkbox there ? Thanks!

    Hello,
    Will this checkbox be used in BBP_DOC_CHECK_BADI, BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI and/or the create back-end documents BADIs?  If, so then I think adding the field to the appropriate S/C structure should work for you. There are several OSS Notes regarding this....

  • Adding the Checkbox for each row in classic report

    Hello,
    I have created classic report with checkboxes in each row and added the On-Submit process, BUTTON CONDITIONAL, to determine the behavior of the checkboxes. The PL/SQL process is suppose to delete the selected row from database.
    I am getting the Success message, but When I check the database, the row still persist in the database.
    PLSQL CODE:
    FOR i IN 1..apex_application.g_f01.count LOOP
    DELETE
    FROM
      registry
    WHERE
      reg_id = apex_application.g_f01(i);END LOOP;
    ORACLE APEX: 4.2
    Thank you

    Hi ApexNewLearner,
    Try this
    DECLARE
    j number;
    BEGIN
    FOR i IN 1..apex_application.g_f01.count LOOP
      j := apex_application.g_f01(i);
      DELETE FROM  registry
      WHERE  reg_id = apex_application.g_f01(j);
    END LOOP;
    END;
    or better try to replicate your issue on apex.oracle.com , that is easy for users to investigate the issue and give you appropriate solution.
    Hope this helps you,

  • Adding a checkbox to a form report

    Hi there,
    I've built a multi-item form in APEX 3.1.2, based on the following query:
    SELECT id,
           ticker,
           deal_date,
           deal_type,
           no_shares,
           price_per_share,
           commision,
           stamp_duty,
           DECODE( trade_group_id, NULL, 'N', 'Y' ) AS group_ind,
           trade_group_id
      FROM trades
    WHERE ticker = 'FXPO'
    ORDER BY trade_group_id,
              ticker,
              deal_date.
    Unfortunately, I'm not hosting an image online and can't seem to figure out how to attach one to this post, so I can't show you a picture.
    I'd like to replace the GROUP_IND value with a Checkbox in the Form Report. However, when I go to Report Attributes>Column Attributes for the GROUP_IND column, I cannot choose a Checkbox to represent that editable column in the report form. In the Tabular form Section>Display As dropdown list, a Checkbox is not given as an option. The closest thing I can find is Select List (static LOV).
    Is there any way I can include a Checkbox where I want it to be? If I can, is there any way to ensure the associated report row is highlighted after the Checkbox has been ticked?
    Cheers.
    James

    Hi try this
    SELECT id,
           ticker,
           deal_date,
           deal_type,
           no_shares,
           price_per_share,
           commision,
           stamp_duty,
           APEX_ITEM.CHECKBOX(1,trade_group_id) group_ind,
           trade_group_id
      FROM trades
    WHERE ticker = 'FXPO'
    ORDER BY trade_group_id,
              ticker,
              deal_dateCheers

  • Adding a checkbox to Trees

    Hi,
    Anyone how to add a checkbox to every item in a tree? I
    wanted to implement something that looks like what is found when
    you install software and get that grey check meaning not all the of
    the children items are not checked. I am not an expert with
    ItemRenderers.

    Write your own table model like
    tm extends DefaultTableModel{
    @Override
    public Class getColumnClass(int index){
      if(index== <your column for boolean>){
          return Boolean.class;
       }else
          return super.getColumnClass(index);
    }

  • Formula to get a total if I'm adding a checkbox beside each items?

    Simple question :
    I have 3 elements on 1 column : A1 = 5$ ; A2=10$ ; A3 = 15$. Each of the elements have a checkbox in the second column. What is the formula if I want to get a total ONLY if the checkbox is TRUE?
    Thanks!

    Which decimal delimiter are you using on your system ?
    If you are using the comma, you must use semi-colons in place of commas to separate the parameters.
    I must apologize for the double post but yesterdays the forum behaved wrongly here. So I clicked several times on the {Post Message) button with no visible effect. It appears that in fact the task was done with no echo on the display

  • ALV Sorting Not Working after Adding Checkbox to ALV

    Hi All.
    I am currently doing an ALV report using REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY function. I am sorting the list by Employee Name and Personnel Area. It works fine where the personnel are field and employee name field are merger together for same personnel are and employee name. But afterwards I added a checkbox field to the internal table and the list outputs a checkbox for each line. Afer  putting the checkbox the list no long merges the same personnel are and employee name fields according to original sorting.
    Can anyone explain if there is a way to solve this?

    Hi Santosh,
    When you are importing from data dictionary , please try the following
    (1)in screen painter once you click the import from dictionary
    (a) select the field you want as checkbox
    (b) you can see if you scroll sideways an option like
         Radiobutton/checkbox etc for the same field
    (c) Choose the checkbox option
    (d) use the "Tick" on the table control
    (e) Drag and drop to your screen
    (2) Activate your screen
    (3) Run the transaction again
    Please let me know if it solves the problem

  • Checkbox in tabular form - help needed

    I'm trying to build a tabular form, with a checkbox for a field that can have value 'Y' or 'N'. Adding the checkbox is no problem, with the htmldb_item.checkbox API.
    However, processing it is.
    On this forum I found a way to process the checkboxes, by looping through all the records (with the help of htmldb_item.hidden in which the id is stored) and reading the value from the checkboxes and updating the column if the checkbox is checked. (see Re: Report with updateable checkbox)
    however, as soon as I add a htmldb_item.hidden item, I receive the following error when I submit the tabular form to the Multi Row Update process:
    "Error in mru internal routine: ORA-20001: Error in MRU: row= 1, ORA-20001: ORA-20001: Current version of data in database has changed since user initiated update process. "
    My query:
    Select id
    ,htmldb_item.hidden(1,id)
    ,htmldb_item.checkbox(2,id, decode(field, 'Y', 'CHECKED', NULL))
    from table
    What am I doing wrong?
    is there a better way to process a tabular form with checkboxes?
    Or should I process all the rows manually by updating every record even if it hasn't changed (with a loop through all the records)?

    Tonnie, did you ever get an answer to this question?

  • Problem with Matrix/Checkbox/Datasource

    Hi, i have a problem with a Matrix.
    There are 3 Columns on this Matrix, one of those is a Checkbox. I fill the Columns with data, the Checkboxes where just added (no Checkbox is selected), the user has to select the value (Checkbox)he want's to by hand.
    After i filled the Matrix i can see all the data on the Form, it's OK, but then i loose all entries after SBO is doing some work. There where shown only the empty rows and the checkboxes.
    I guess it has something to do with the databinding. My problem is that i don't have the Data for this form on a db-table. I fill in the matrix the result of some querys. It looks like i need at least a DB-Field for the checkboxes, otherwise there are not working (not selectable)
    Somebody knows a solution how i can keep the Data in the Matrix after SBO is doing some work? What could be the reason that i loose the data after filling it in the Matrix? Is there an easy way?
    Thanks Andreas

    Almost every item on a form need a datasource... If the item reprecents some data in a table the databinding must be a dbds... If the data does not reflect any data in a table (Calulated value, user-decision, ect.) a userdatasource need to be created...
    Add a userdatasource
    oForm.DataSources.UserDataSources.Add(UID,type,length);
    Databind to DBDS
    col.DataBind.SetBound(true,”TABLE”,”FIELD”);
    Databind to UDS
    col.DataBind.SetBound(true,””,UID);

  • How to insert checkbox at a particular  cell  in jtable

    hello,
    I am a user of jdeveloper using jclient/swing .
    question:
    i am using jtable. i want that whenever i click on a specified cell then text at that particular cell get clear and a checkbox inserted in that cell . whenever i click on that checkbox i.e check the checkbox,
    again a text is inserted in that cell.
    thank you

    Did you ever get this to work? If I bind a JCheckbox to my attribute and add the checkbox to my JClient panel, the attribute value is properly bound to the checkbox with everything working correctly. Adding the checkbox as the TableCellEditor for the column doesn't work.
    Also, the link to using a Combobox as a table cell editor works, but the link doesn't tell where to donwload the sample code from. Doesn't anyone know the link?

  • Adding a check box to my page clears the value in a hidden field on page 0

    Hello, I hope that someone can assist me. I have a page that has multiple submit buttons on it. When I click a submit button the page refreshes to render the new content. I have a hidden field, and its region is set to one on page 0. Without any check boxes on my page, I can set a value in the hidden field, and it remains there even if I click on any submit buttons. If I put a check box on the page and then press a submit button, the value is cleared in the hidden element which is not desired. I did notice that in this case with the check box, if I refresh the browser the hidden field value is not cleared. Perhaps the page is being rendered differently after the submit because of the checkbox. Does anyone have any ideas of what is happening?

    That doesn't sound right. Adding a checkbox shouldn't have that effect. Please try to reproduce this on htmldb.oracle.com so we can take a look or post a screenshot of your relevant page components.

  • How to add values of checkboxs to a numeric field?

    I have 5 checkbox which I assigned values to: Excellent 5 , Satisfactory 4, Needs Improvement 3 , and so on. When I check a check box , lets say the Excellent one, I want it to put the value 5 in another numeric field. How do I do this?

    Hi,
    For the checkboxes you can set the On value and the Off value. See the Object > Binding palette. You would just set the Excellent check box to an On value of 5. Then it is just a matter of adding the checkboxes together.
    See a few examples here: http://assure.ly/omsURE, http://assure.ly/uiKS6f and http://assure.ly/iitzNJ.

  • Cfgrid checkbox column does not display bgcolor

    I am running CF9 in Firefox and have a page with an editable grid. I have different background colors for certain groups of columns.
    When I define a column as follows:
    <cfgridcolumn name="HidePrice"  display="true"  header="Hide Price"    width="40" select="yes"  bgColor="##E7F3F1" type="boolean" />
    it shows as a checkbox but the background color does not show. This same bg color does show in adjacent columns. That's my first problem.
    In addition, I have applied some styles to the extJS cells using stuff like this:
    .x-grid3-col-8  {height:42px;}
    .x-grid3-col-9  {text-align:right;height:42px;}
    .x-grid3-col-10 {text-align:center;height:42px;}
    .x-grid3-col-11 {text-align:right;height:42px;}
    This worked fine before I added the checkbox, but the checkbox field (in this case it's field .x-grid3-col-10) throws off the column count and the subsequent styles affect the wrong columns. As if the checkbox was not a full-fledged grid column.
    Anybody have an inkling what's happening?

    This hasn't received an answer in almost two months?
    I've searched the docs and online and I have yet to find a solution, but BUMP and you're not the only one.
