Adding a Field in search Criteria in Web UI

Hello All ,
I am working on SAP CRM 7.0 Webui Marketing module (Business Role : Marketingpro) . Here when I select the "Account&Product" Work Center and go to search Contact . Here we will move to the Search Contact View here we will get a list box where we can select any search criteria to search a Contanct . Here in this List box in need to add a new Field Called "Archiving Flag" . The component of the Search Contact is :: "BP_CONT_SEARCH" And the View is "BP_CONT_SEARCH/Search " Here in the View Structure Tab under Context->Context Node ->Search i just needd to a new Field called "Archiving Flag" in this context node "Search". Can any Tell me the procedure to add a field to the lsit box of Search Criteria.

Hi Vinutha,
U can add fields in the search view using AET in one way.
The other way is identify the component for that search.Press F2 on the web ui screen of ur account search page and see the component name as well the view name for the search fields.
Go to that search view in the component identified.
In case of sales pro role, account search component is BP_CONT_SEARCH ,go to the view search and in that if we go to context node search an attribute named 'telephone' is present already.We can add that to visible fields in configuration tab.
If not found under that context node then right click on context node and create a context node.Before that go to genil_model_browser and observe the relation level in which the field(mobile number) we need to add is present and copy the dependent object name.
For example for phone number the dependent object is BuilAdressPhone. Now pass this value in create context node. Make the adjustments in configuration tab.

Hi ,
You need to go to transaction code BSP_WD_CMPWB transaction, and then open up the component in your case it might be BT115S_SLSO and then go to the view BT115S_SLSO/SlsOrdSQ , and then go to the Configuration tab and then click on Copy Configuration (if there is no customer configuration) , assign the Role Config Key, and then it will go into the change mode and then you can default the value of IS for the field.
try out this, and let me know if it meets your requirement.

How To add a field in search criteria in SAP standard report

Hi AlL,
I have a requirement where i need to add a field in search criteria of selection screen and display in output of Standard SAP report.
I have read in threads that to obtain Access key and modify the code in std report , if i am not able to get an Access key and not allowed to copy the report as Z.
Could you please let me know how to solve this kind of requirement.

Well - it's a report so there won't be a user exit. I think your options are what the others (and you) have suggested - change the standard program or make a copy.
There are different opinions on the forum about which to do.

Adding a new search criteria in Web UI for Sales Order

We have a requirement for Web UI as follows :
We want to add the ID number (identification number in BP ) as search criteria for Sales Order simialr to search criteria available in Accounts with ID number .
Can any one please give some inputs on this ?

Hi Vinayak,
I will try to give you some technical advise.
What you would need to do is:
In transaction SM30 open up view: CRMV_OBJ_BTIL
There is an entry for External Object Name "BTQAct"
The currently used DDIC structure is CRMST_QUERY_ACT_BTIL
You will need to adjust this structure to bring completely new parameters to the UI. This means put in your own.
As you can see in detail for this entry there are three fields with name "Structure" the last one is for the GenIL handler class. Currently it should be empty (there is some fancy SAP logic to determine it automatically). You can override it with your own handler class implementing the logic. As a hint: The implementation class currently used is: CL_CRM_QACT_RUN_BTIL
Anyhow most 1Order searches are handled by the class CL_CRM_Q1O_SEARCH perhaps you can use it as well. Additionally it would be a good idea to provide your users with a value help.
Oh and there is a customizing that lets you define which options (IS, BETWEEN, IS NOT, ...) should be available for the user. Please do not try to do this hardcoded

Search: standard field as search criteria

Hello,
I have problem because of a search component within the webclient ui framework (background SAP Solution Manager).
Background:
There is a ui search component to search for change documents (which are plain entries within the table crmd_orderadm_h). I successfully have redefined the corresponding ui component. Now there is, let me say, a challenge.
The change document among other things consists of an assignment block for approval management. But dont think about approval management so long. It could be any other assignment block. I have to integrate one standard field of that assignment block as a search criteria to the search component, to search for change documents.
1. At first I navigated to the ui component of that assignment block and searched for the attribute structure of the right context node, where the attribute is placed.
2. Second, I navigated to the ui component of the search and opened the attribute structure of the search context node.
3. To that attribute structure I have appended the attribute with the corresponding data element from step 1.
Now the attribute is available as a search criteria within the search component. But there are two open problems.
First problem:
The attribute has a special value range, that is not available at the moment. The search criteria currently only is a plain text field. Do I have to implement the getter- and setter-methods (respectively the v-getter) to Show up the possible search values in an drop-down list?
Second problem:
The name of the attribute is included within the search, but the search ignores it and I get an query error ("there is a problem with the query"). I have seen the attribute name at a breakpoint in CL_AI_CRM_IM_SAPDATA_SEARCH=>IF_CRM_RF_Q1O_SEARCH~SEARCH. But deeper within the code there is an query error raising up. Did I forget some customizing?

Hi Eli,
Please go to the web ui configuration and search reason feild is available for the config view. If it is available please move from hidden to visible. If it is not available you can add using development or AET to add that feild in the view.

Error while trying to add a new field in search criteria by VO extension

I am trying to add a new field by using the VO extension to a seeded OAF page used to search Repository contracts.
I get the following error on opening the page after I have compiled my code on server and bounced apache.
Message not found. Application: FND, Message Name: FND_VIEWOBJECT_NOT_FOUND. Tokens: VONAME =SSPN_AdvancedSearchAttributesPVO; APPLICATION_MODULE = oracle.apps.okc.repository.search.server.ContractsAdvSearchAM;
I extended the AM also after this to include the extended VO but still the error comes.
This page is a dynamic search page where the results change based on the different search criteria.

Adding new field in search help result view

Dear Experts,
I want to include one more field in search help result. The field shoud give description.
How can i do this in UI result view?
If I try to add attribute in result view, the result view is of type table, and it does not allow us to add value node. It will allow us to add model attribute. If I add attribute in search help resut table view then will i be able to see it in table form.

Hi Pankaj,
Its not that difficult.
There are two ways
1. You can enhance your Result BOL object through EEWB and append your z-field to std. BOL result object. This then appears automatically for your result context node and then you can pull it to the view in config tool.
2. Directly go to your context node class (CN00 , CN01 etc ) , now copy method GET_S_XYZ , paste it and rename as GET_yourfieldname. Similarly copy SET_S_XYZ, GET_M_XYZ and GET_I_XYZ and paste and rename. Once activated. Quit the component browser completely. Open again using bsp_wd_cmpwb. open you view and then your node. You can find you new attribut present as struct.YourField.
You can then copy code from available setter-getter methods for this attribute. You must handle setter getter by urself in this case. In may std. nodes, this is done for description field. I have personally done this for product descripton field.
if you dont want the field to be part of structure ( i.e. as struct.Yourfield ) then you can also copy paste GET_XYZ, SET_XYZ methods. your filed then do not appear as Struct.YourField but it just appears as YourField name under context node.

You can check PRODUCTDESCRIPTION attribute of BTAdminI node of BT115QIT_SLSQ/Items view of BT115QIT_SLSQ component. They have added it the same way as i described above. You see the GET_ method to see how they are retrieving product description. In my object, i wrote direct query to Comm_prshtext table to retriev short_text by passing product guid and then assigen it to value variable of Get method.

How to add standard "reason" field as search criteria for service orders?

New custom field in the POWL search criteria

Hi experts,
My requirement is to add a new custom field in the search criteria (Parameters)
In my Easy shopping card POWL. I need to add custom fields in search criteria.
I tried appending my custom fields in structure /SAPSRM/S_SEARCHFIELDS
And customized the POWL type DB criteria SAPSRM_FEEDER_SC by adding the custom field
But still the newly added search criteria is not displaying in the
Query SAPSRM_E_CHECKSTATUS_01 in powl_query transaction.
Kindly help me to solve this issue

I tried to add an extra Field(Company code) in POWL Search. the problem is the Field Company code doesnt get updated in BBP_PDHSC and BBP_PDISC with the value used in while creating SC.
I only get the Company code value in table BBP_PDBEI for SC.
So when i give any value in POWL search for company code no data is shown even though the SC was created in the inputted Company code.
so how to go about adding CC as search criteria in POWL so that the resultant output is filtered on the basis of CC value.

Adding Z field in Opportunity search and result view BT111S_OPPT/Search

I have been searching this forum on adding Z fields in search and result view but couldnt find the precise information.
We have Z field in ultimately residing in BUT000.
Now when this field is used in BP_HEAD_SEARCH for search and result, it could be easily done via configuration. (since the field was added to CRMT_BUPA_IL_HEADER_SEARCH during EEWB extension.
Now, the requirement is to add the fields in Opportunity BT111S_OPPT/Search & BT111S_OPPT/Result.
I am confused with regard to the approach we need to use to get this field in search and result.
I thought the easiest option is to add the Model node and and give the BOL attribute. This works fine but I can't see this field (with dynamic getter/setter) in the UI configuration.
During the attribute creation wizard, I gave BOL entity as BTQROpp (system defaulted) and the relation was
BTADVSOpp/BTOrderHeader/BTHeaderPartnerSet/BTPartnerAll/BTBusinessPartner/ZZZGEOG_REGI
is this correct? or am I doing something wrong?
Why can't I see the fields in configuration?
So alternatively I created a field through AET and i could see this field is in the structure and in UI config, but what logic I need to put to retrieve the value?
Any advice?

Hi Rakesh,
Please follow below steps:
1. Append your custom field to structure associated with your search/result structure.
2. After you append this field to structure, this field would be available in context node.
3. Check if the field is reflected in available fields in configuration.
4. If field is not present in configuration then please follow steps stated by me in:

5. Once you add this field to design layer, you would be able to configure it to your search query. Check if your query works with this field.

Adding custom fields on a SC for searching a PO

Hi Friends,
I am working on SRM classic Scenario and I have a requirement for which I need to add custom fields on the shopping cart under "CONFIRM GOODS/SERVICES CENTRALLY" on clicking "EXTENDED SEARCH" we get 16 fields for searching a PO.
The requirement is, user should be able to search a PO using "shopping cart number" and "shopping cart creator".
As I have looked into some of the enhancements include structures and I find this include "INCL_EEW_PD_SEARCH_HDR_CSF_PO" may work.
Can anybody help me in how do I go ahead withthis.

From what i understood from your query, you want to add fields on the "CONFIRM GOODS/SERVICES CENTRALLY" transaction search screen.
The fields are 'shopping cart number' and 'shopping cart creator'.
Please go through the following OSS Note:

I think the structure you should use are:
INCL_EEW_PD_SEARCH_HDR_CSF_CNF
If you have defined document-specific fields on header and/or item level, you also have to define them in structures INCL_EEW_PD_HEADER_CSF (for the fields of the header) and INCL_EEW_PD_ITEM_CSF IF THEY HAVE NOT BEEN DEFINED THERE YET. Consequently, these structures contain the combination of header or item fields of all document-specific fields
You can also use user-defined fields as search criteria. To do this, you have to set fields XINPUT and XDISPLAY to 'X' in table ET_FIELDS for the fields you want to use in BADI BBP_CUF_BADI_2 in method MODIFY_SCREEN. The fields defined this way are displayed if you choose the 'Extended search' link.

Add value to search criteria view

Hello gurus,
I use SAP CRM 7.0. I logon to CRM Web UI with salespro business role, then I go to Sales cycle -> Sales Orders. Search sales orders screen appears. There some values in the search creteria list: Sales order ID, Sold-to party, External reference, etc. But there is no Item category criteria there. I have to add Item category into the list of the search creteria so that I could find orders by Item category.
Could you please suggest me with an appropriate solution for adding Item category value to the search criteria?

To add a new field to search criteria, go to structure CRMST_QUERY_SLSORD_BTIL and append structure your new field.
Go to component BT115S_SLSO view SlsOrdSQ and add the custom field to configuration.
Implement BADI CRM_BADI_RF_Q10_SEARCH with appropriate filter combinations.

How to add a new search criteria in Advance Search Page in OAF

HI,
In my application (R12) we can access customer related information from 2 places (2 different responsibilities as mentioned below), both are OAF pages.
1. AX receivables
2. Sales online
From both the responsibilities we can perform search for customer related information as well (Simple as well as Advance Search).
But Advance Search screen from 'Sales online' allows user to perform search, based on few additional fields as well such as 'Classification' (it's an lov based field).
Now, User is asking to add that field on search page of AX receivables as well.
So, how to add one more field (as search criteria), on an standard 'Customer' screen?
Additional Info :
1. LOV is based on HzPuiClassificationFilterVO
2. And this VO is available on both pages. (oracle.apps.ar.hz.components.search.server.HzPuiClassificationFilterVO)
So can we achieve this by Personalization only ? if yes plz share the steps as well.

Yes. It is possible through personalization.
1. Create a criteria row under Advance Search
2. Create a Result Item under advance table columns
3. Create a Query Criteria Map based on the criteria and result item above.
Please note the newly added criteria field should be in the Searchresults VO attributes list.
Otherwise you need to extend the VO as well.
