How to add standard "reason" field as search criteria for service orders?

Hi,
I would like to add the criteria "reason" in search tool for service orders.
Would it be standard or woudl it need development?

Hi Eli,
Please go to the web ui configuration and search reason feild is available for the config view. If it is available please move from hidden to visible. If it is not available you can add using development or AET to add that feild in the view.

    "Set the Search Allowed property to True for any LOV result items you want to present to the user as searchable values. These items are listed in the search poplist the user sees in the LOV window.
    At a minimum you must set the Search Allowed property to True for the the result table item corresponding to the LOV field on the base page.
    This is from the devguide, I suggest you read it once at least if you have started work on the framework.

  • Error while trying to add a new field in search criteria by VO extension

    I am trying to add a new field by using the VO extension to a seeded OAF page used to search Repository contracts.
    I get the following error on opening the page after I have compiled my code on server and bounced apache.
    Message not found. Application: FND, Message Name: FND_VIEWOBJECT_NOT_FOUND. Tokens: VONAME =SSPN_AdvancedSearchAttributesPVO; APPLICATION_MODULE = oracle.apps.okc.repository.search.server.ContractsAdvSearchAM;
    I extended the AM also after this to include the extended VO but still the error comes.
    This page is a dynamic search page where the results change based on the different search criteria.

    I extended the AM also after this to include the extended VO but still the error comes.There is no need to extend the AM for extending a VO. Hopefully the VO which u extending already attached to the AM oracle.apps.okc.repository.search.server.ContractsAdvSearchAM.

    As on now there are 2 DropDown boxes
    in Your Referance No
    in Transaction No
    (New)
    in Order No (This will have search value as "Sales Order No")
    Can anyone tell how to add this inw value?

       I created a report with one subreport and im comparing information from both reports but i need to apply selection criteria in the main report using one of the fields in the subreport, the problem is that the subreport field doesnt appear in the select expert screen.        I created the subreport table called IIM (748 items) in sql in the main report as you suggested with the below code:

    ORDER BY "ITEM_MASTER"."ITEM_ID"
    and im trying to display all items in the ITEM_MASTER table that are not in the IIM file but i haven't been able to accomplish this, i am using as primary the ITEM_MASTER table with 'Inner Join' as Join Type,  and '!=" as Link Type. Do you have any ideas on how can i display the requested items.

    Check the copy rules in tcode VTFL and/or VTFA. Check the field for assignment number. Check also the VOFM subroutines.
    Also, check Note 301077 - User exits for the interface to accounting to change the value of ZUONR in BSEG (in ACCIT in the interface of this FM)

    I want to display user defined field values in search users result page. For example, I am having USR_UDF_SSN user defined field. Now if i search users, the resultant table should display the default OOTB values (USER ID, FIRST NAME, LAST NAME, STATUS) and USR_UDF_SSN value.

    You can't add this without having the source code. And on another note, i would highly suggest you DO NOT display a user's SSN unless you are in the HR system. These values should always be encrypted in OIM or you might have some bigger issues of private data being accessible.

    Well - it's a report so there won't be a user exit. I think your options are what the others (and you) have suggested - change the standard program or make a copy.
    There are different opinions on the forum about which to do.

    I presume you are talking about a report display in ALV and u wish to add a column to it .
    If it is a global requirement ,as in table being used there in ALV can be modified, then you can append the table and the system should pick up the same automatically from there.
    Otherwise , you can make a Z program . Modify the catalog being used in ALV.

    You can find enhancement in me28 by following steps and then apply your logic in include of this enhancement.
    cmod>Give a project name>in enhancement column give the package name ME >f4>in package write ME-->ENTER>It will show you all enhancements available in me28> find which ever suits your requirement>save > click on components> from there you can make changes in include program.to add that particular field.

    Dear Agentry experts,
    I need some help on how to add standard SAP backend fields to the Work Manager 6.0 application. The application is freshly setup and not yet customized apart from filters, so we are also new to develop it.
    Specifically we want to add fields QMTXT and QMCOD from Notification Header. We have checked and the fields are activated in the backend configuration, so I hope there are no changes required to the backend. However, when checking the data in the ATE, the fields are currently not added / available in the Notification Collection.
    I have searched this forum and found several pointers, but they deal with adding a full new field, and I want to keep changes limited. Can you please advise what specific steps I need to do on the Agentry / Eclipse side to close the gap between SAP backend and the Notification Collection. (I know how to add the fields to the UI if they are in the collection). Do we need to create custom Java Classes? Can I solve this by just Agentry configuration?

    Look at the attachment, diagram depicts a data flow across the systems. You have to extend Java code for  the object  your trying to enhance and plus you have to make  necessary changes on  Agentry side as well.

    Inserting Texts from the Master Record

    And enter the Required Information and save.
    To include a Standard text in SmartForm.

    2. Under general attributes select "Include text" as Type.
    3. Specify the fields under Text.
