Adding a new value to the poplist

Hi ,
I have a requirement like this..
In the Sales Online Dash Board page If we query for customer we'll get a page for that customer.
I want to add a new business activity for that customer.
There is poplist for business activities. I want to add a new value to that poplist.
can anybody please help me ragarding this.

I've a list of values which are hard coded in the 'Elements in List' property for a Combo Box. Now, I want to add a new value at the beginning of the list. It doesn't allow me to add one. I have to delete all values and re-enter from the first which includes the new one. Is there any way that I can add a new value at the beginning of the list without having to remove other values.

In order to implement the appropriate moves you have to use the key combinations : 1) <shift>+<ctrl>+'<' for deletion of the current list item(where the cursor is located)
2)<shift>+<ctrl>+'>' for appending a blank row in order to add a new element...

Bookmark: default filters lost when adding a new value on the filter

Dear all,
Sometime I need to go back to a bookmark and add extra GL accounts /or GL hierarchy node but I found that is often loses the original selection when I click the transfer button after select the new GL account/or GL hierarchy node. Is there any way to add a new value to the existing filter?

1. Open the bookmark 
2. Click on any field from the context menu and create another bookmark 
3. Put additional filters and press the transfer button 
4. The data will be displayed for (old + new) selections 
5. Click on any field from the context menu and create another bookmark. Make a note of it 
 Step 2 should not really be required but I'm assuming that your internet session was expired or similar problem. Please try this and let us know what happens.

Issue with adding a new value to the Default Login Page

Hopefully this is an easy one guys, I've added a select list item to the standard login page (P101) to allow the user to select a DOMAIN as well as entering their username and password.
When the next page is displayed and I try to retrieve the value held in the new field it has been cleared, but the values entered into items
P101_USERNAME and P101_PASSWORD are still present.
I can't figure out why the values held in items P101_USERNAME and P101_PASSWORD are still present but P101_DOMAIN has been cleared.
I've tried creating a value on page zero and writing the domain value to it using pl/sql and javascript but as soon as the next page is requested the value is cleared.
Any Ideas how to get around this????

I suppose your login page contains a process like this:

please note the random number assigned to you. Once you login, the same number will appear on the page 1 (near to the top).
So, that is how you could solve your problem.

The search help exit allows you to modify functionality of search help. If you add a new field to the
parameter list that is not contained on the selection method you can manually populate it within the search
help exit.
This would be performed within the u2018STEP DISPu2019 section. Once within this section all search help
data has been retrieved and is stored in table RECORD_TAB (record_tab-string) as one long string value.
Therefore you need to read table SHLP in-order to locate position of value within string.
Example:
To find position of personnel number (PERNR) within elemenory search
help M_PREMN you would use the following code:
Loop at record_tab.
     read table shlp-fielddescr into wa_shlp
                                   with key tabname   = 'M_PREMN'
                                            fieldname = 'PERNR'.
You could then use this information in the following way, for
example, to find a persons organisation unit:
      select orgeh endda
        up to 1 rows
        from pa0001
        into (ld_orgeh,ld_endda)
       where pernr eq record_tab-string+wa_shlp-offset(8)
                                                  u201Cpernr length is 8
       order by endda descending.
      endselect.
      select single orgtx
        from t527x
        into ld_orgtxt
       where orgeh eq ld_orgeh and
             sprsl eq sy-langu and

Adding a new field to the Address Data for a business partner

Hi Experts,
I am trying to add a new custom field to the address data (all structures and tables) that is linked to a business partner on SAP CRM via EEWB. Structure is the address structure wthin BUS_EI_EXTERN. Table is BUT020. I have been told that it is not possible as there is no Business Object that allows this. When doing an EEWB, the only business object is BUPA, which when selected, adds the new custom field to BUT000. I would like the field to be added to BUT020 (Address Table). This leads me to believe that there is no standard way of doing this, which ultimatley means that it would need to be done manually. Please help me with this predicament.

Add new values to the Domain J_1BINDUS3 CFOP category of the material

I have a request from the business to include some new values in the domain J_1BINDUS3 CFOP category of the material.
Since is a standard object seems to be a work Basis team, however before requesting this I would like to get some advice from the experts to understand if adding new values to this domain can cause side effects or if I should maintain other objects as result of this request.
I know table J_1BAON has to be maintained to properly determine CFOPs for the new fields but along that is there any other one?
Is this the right process to include new CFOP categories?
The requirement is to properly identify Assets as Productive and Non Productive when making the PO, since this can help us to determine tax code automatically.

Have you tried using "Map published data" in the Utilities pane, mapping the department field to the corresponding security group.

Not reflecting the new value of the AWvariable

I am working with Jdeveloper and BI beans
we are using Java Analytical workspace API for connecting and saving the user input as a Analytical workspace Variable
by using fallowing code
awConn.executeCommand("awvariable=value");
here the problem is i can not made this assignment perminent in Analytical Workspace
i.e after execution of the program i checked with AnallyticalworkSpace manager's worksheet it not reflecting the new value of the AWvariable. It is showing only old value.
how can i do that assignment it from java api .

That other post looks different, though - the OP is now manipulating the model.The OPs statement of the problem was:
Adding new data to the exitsting model causes the JList to display blank when I refresh the screen.
The suggestion in the other posting was to change the model not the array and the tutorial has a working example of this.
The OPs question was:
When my action performed creates a new instance of the model everything works fine but is this how it should work?
The answer to this is no, you don't need to change the model, just update the model.
So if the OP read the other posting and read the tutorial they should have an answer to their problem.
As you suggested there is no need to create a custom model. The example in the tutorial uses the default list model, if the OP read the tutorial they would know that.

Need to create a new item on this page called "approver notes" (column notes).
Can this be achieved by personalization?
Scenario:
On credit request details page disputed invoice number, request date, status, bill to, ship to, etc are displayed.
When the status is "not approved”, item should be displayed along the "rejected" comment.
If the status is other than "not approved" then the item should not be displayed.

what page is this ? are you sure it is a OAF page ?
If it is a OAF page, you would need to extend the controller to fire a partial action for the item and then control the display property of the comments field

While adding a new server to the menu of SAP GUI 640 using Server Tab after entering all details like :
1] SAP System ID
2] Hostname where message server is running
3] SAP ROUTER :None
After filling all the above details and after pressing the Generate List Button I am getting the following error .Please help me to know why this error is coming and suggest a solutio for adding a new server to my SAP GUI 640.But I am able to add a new server using User defined tab but I want to add a new server using Server tab.

check etc/services for sapmsSBX entry. If missing - add it (i.e. sapmsSBX 36XX/tcp - where XX is your instance no.)
Add an extra [Enter] after last line of etc/services.

Add New value to the special reference indicator on the TO field

Can you please tell me how to add a new value to the special reference indicator dropdown which is on the transfer order.
LTAK->SPEZI ? Currently it is displaying values A & B in the drop down and want to add a new value to the indicator.

Hi,
I dont think you will be able to add more values to this field from configuration.
If you check the data element and domain associated with this field (LTAK_SPEZI) in SE11. You can see that the value range for the domain has been defined there as A and B only.
So if you want to add a new value you can ask and ABAP/technical consulatnt to add new values to this Domain.
However i am not sure it will be useful (unless you have a specific requirement and want to modify the standard programs) as the field is checked in different program (eg in inculde LL03AF4V , LL03AF7F ) against these fixed values A and B.

Taxes, freight etc. values to be added to stock values at the GR

We are procuring the material from vendor. Our requirement is the taxes, freight, duties which we pay at the time of procurement should be added to stock values at the time of GR. Also we wish to pay the freight or duties to separate vendor at the time of invoice verification. How the settings need to be done to meet this requirement?

You can do this by following processes:
1.Create the material vendor & transport vendor by Xk01
2.maintain the freight condition types in pricing procedure in M/08.
3.Maintain the non deductible tax codes - tax values will loaded by FTXP.
4.Create the PO for material vendor. Enter the values in the condiitons - gross price & freight in the PO -item level - condiitons tab. Here enter the freight vendor against the freight conditons in the detail icon.Use the non deductible tax codes in the Po - item level - invoice -tax codes.
5.Release the PO if release strategy is applicable.
5.Do the GR for the PO.Check the accting doc in the dispaly Material doc to see the accting entries.

Now what i want is i want to add a user parameter to this concurrent program like costcenterfrom and costcenterto these are optional parameters and the its value set type is TABLE and i want to display value is SEGMENT2.
when i select the parameters along with predefined and costcenterfrom and costcenter to the report output should be between the costcenter from and costcenterto along with predefined values,
and if i am not giving any value to the costcenterfrom and costcenterto parameters then the report out put should be based on the above parameters ie predefined parameters only.

Hi,
Please check whether the auth object is switched on for the info-provider or not. By default its switched on if the info-object is part of the info-provider.
To switch it on again, enter the info-provider name in the section 'Checks For Info-provider'. Click on pencil button to enter into change mode and select your auth object.

Adding a new button in the PO search summary in SRM 3

Hello gurus,
my requirement is to add a new button in the search summary for PO in SRM. Here's the task: every time a search is executed, the result is a list of purchase orders and every item has on the left two icons, "Show PO" and "Modify PO". There are merely a shortcut that brings the user to the PO screen in which the document is shown/can be modified.
These two buttons are standard... my task is to add a new button in the template, "Copy PO", which should be a shortcut to the omonimous button which is present in the PO view screen. So I think this new button should work as the two standard ones.
In order to do so, I looked into the proper template: SAPLBBP_PDH_SEARCH, screen 3003, which belongs to the package BBP_PRODOC_C (ITS service BBPSEARCH).
I tried to "duplicate" the part referring to a standard button (e.g. the "display icon" chunk), obtaining a new chunk which represents the new button in the template.
And... it works, in the sense that the button is visible and clickable. So far so good. Here's the questions since I'm not absolutely an expert on Jscript... My button, once clicked, triggers my FORM (PO_COPY) which should receive the header GUID of the Puchase Order.
In debug I've seen that the form fails since it does not receive any parameter, and that's probably related to this section:
(angle brackets omitted, it gave me an error posting tags in sdn)
"JavaScript:HyperSubmit('PO_COPY', '`MAINLIST-LINE_NUMBER[j].value`')"
The problem is I did not understand how to check for possible parameters of this HyperSubmit method. Also, I'd like to check what's the structure of MAINLIST (as far as I've seen, MAINLIST-LINE_NUMBER[j].value is a parameter passed to the form) but don't know how to see that. Can anyone please direct me through these passages? Thanks in advance.
