Adding an image to FPM form using FPM/FLUID Editor

One of the new features of FPM Editor (used by HCM Processes and Forms to create processes with WebDynpro forms) is a standard element called "FPM_FGL2_IMAGE". I added this element to the screen and asked to enter a source to the image. When I entered a URL to an image on my desktop and saved the form I couldn't open the form anymore (not in the editor and not on "run" mode). So, I couldn't enter the form and delete the URL that caused the problem and my form was lost.
I have two questions regarding this issue:
How can I delete the URL that causes this error in order to save my form and avoid building it from the beginning?
What URL should I put in this field in order that this WD component will display the image on the FPM form?

  • Adding dynamic images to your website using Dreamweaver

    Hi
    I've been working on a website which has been in use by public for some months now.
    I recently wanted to add a simple product catelogue.   I can do this just by creating my database connection and using the recordsets.
    However I wanted to add an image thumbnail to each product record.
    I found the above topic in the Adobe Help 'Adding dynamic images to your website using Dreamweaver'
    What I really would like to know is what exactly is put in the image_location field of the table, how is this field populated and then how to view the picture.
    I have tried, as per instructions, but the picture is not showing.
    I use php as I dont know coldfusion, but I'm sure the process must be pretty similar.
    If anyone can shed some light then that would be really appreciated.
    Many thanks liz

    As most anyone else will say, so I will say; *please don't
    start it
    automatically!*
    Playing music on a site is fine, but making it play
    automatically when you
    go to the site will alienate lots of people; especially those
    having a quick
    web surf at work or who have other music on whilst they're
    working.
    But back to your question; have a look at the XSPF music
    player
    http://musicplayer.sourceforge.net/).
    It comes in different visual versions
    (can modify it with a bit of Flash knowledge), allows you to
    select
    different songs or just leave it looping, or you can just
    loop one song. And
    yes, you can make it start automatically.
    See
    http://www.blastoffmusic.org
    for an example of a christian site where it
    is used (on the inside pages)

  • Hi i am trying to disply image in adobe forms using ABAP, But i can't abl ?

    hi friends,
    I am using adobe forms to display the VORNA , NACHN and EMPPHOTO.
    for this i created an interface with the 3 import parameters like IM_VORNA, IM_NACHN and IM_PHOTO.
    Then i desingned the form with this interface.
    I dragged the IM_VORNA, IM_NACHN to ADOBE form layout.
    And for employee photo i created the IMAGEFILED in layout.
    And i setted the imagefield binding property to $record.IM_PHOTO.
    To call this ADOBE form i using the ABAP code.

    This is quiet urgent issue . Any help would be really helpful.. Thanks..

    Hi Marlene,
    Thank you very much for your suggestions.
    But I am not creating a custom workflow in designer as Laura has mentioned. I am instead trying to create a new Out of the box Approval Workflow and I get the error mentioned above.
    As it works in other environment, I tried figuring out the possible differences which can lead to this error.
    Today I found one difference which is there are no form Templates within Infopath Configurations in Central Admin. Now I am trying to figure out what makes this form templates to be added to the template gallery.

    In using Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional I have added oval shapes to a form, but they do not print.  How do I get all shapes to print?
    I am using a Dell PC with Windows 7 Professional as the Operating System.

    File > Page Setup = Scale
    The Scale control is what controls the size of what is printed to paper. 100% is usually the best setting.

  • How to access images stored in database using forms

    i have created a table which stores images in bfile type
    i would like to access the images along with other data
    stored in forms.iam not able to get the image using select statement.could anyone tell me the format using which i would be able to access the image.

    in my impression, Oracle's samples store the BFILE images off line though if I did not remember wrong.
    If you can create a form type form using form wizard based on that image table, then you may execute query to view the image. But SELECT ... INTO will not work for LOBs on form.
    If off line in file system, you may try to READ_IMAGE_FILE().

    Hello Annabelle Guittard,
    If you have text in the mail form and that text is not W3C compliant then in this case you cannot upload the images
    because of syntax error in your html coding.
    So my suggestion is - if you have text in your mailform then make the html coding of that text W3C compliant and then
    try to upload the image.
    Hope this helps.

    Hi Vasu,
    Yes you can add fonts on ADS.
    Adobe document services require access to fonts that are installed with the Font Manager Module. This module contains a number of Adobe bundled fonts installed in
    "/usr/sap/<SAPSID>/JC<xx>/j2ee/os_libs/adssap/FontManagerService/fonts/adobe".
    You can also add fonts obtained from other vendors. The types of fonts you can add are OpenType® (.otf), TrueType® (.ttf), and PostScript® Type 1 (.pfb/.pfm).
    Procedure
    To add fonts:
    1. Create a subdirectory called fonts below the
    "/usr/sap/<SAPSID>/SYS/global/AdobeDocumentServices/ FontManagerService" directory.
    Enter JC<xx> if your system is a SAP Web AS J2EE system.
    Enter DVEBMGS<xx> if your system is a SAP Web AS ABAP + J2EE system (J2EE Add-In).
    2. Create a subdirectory called customer below the fonts/ directory created in the previous step.
    3. Copy your fonts into the "/usrsap/<SAPSID>/SYS/global/AdobeDocumentServices/ FontManagerService/fonts/customer" directory.
    4. Restart the Document Services Font Manager for the changes to take effect.
    5. Also restart the application com.adobe/AdobeDocumentServices for the changes to take effect.

  • Adding background image using Loader ()

    Hi all,
    Am working on a simulation and am running into some trouble.
    I am attaching what I have so far. (I'm just in beginning stages so
    it's nothing fancy)
    What I still need to do is place the main image into the code
    using this code:
    var somePictLdr:Loader = new Loader();
    var request:URLRequest = new URLRequest("octopus.jpg");
    <--name of my image on my desktop
    somePictLdr.load(request);
    addChild(somePictLdr);
    I don't know where to put the code in what I already have.
    Can anyone help?
    Also, I want to add some sort of stop button so when the user
    presses 'b' for blue, the blue bubbles come up but when the user
    presses 'o' for orange, I want the blue bubbles to stop and the
    orange ones to come up.
    Can anyone help me? I have messed up the code so many times
    that I'm scared to go back into it and mess up what is actually
    semi-working. I just need to know exactly where the code goes and
    what it should say because I can't even get that part right. *ugh*
    Thank you.
    Jill

    Hi jillybean,
    On where to place the code in question, you want to declare
    the variable above the bath2 constructor function, by the bubble
    array declaration, for example. With slight changes, also, like
    this:
    var somePictLdr:Loader;
    var request:URLRequest;
    The code for loading the pic should go in the bath2
    constructor function, as follows:
    public function bath2() {
    somePictLdr = new Loader();
    request = new URLRequest("octopus.jpg");
    somePictLdr.load(request);
    addChild(somePictLdr);
    As for your frustration, that is typical of learning a new
    language - more examples, and more success will take care of
    that.

  • Adding an Image on top of Zoom area

    Hello everyone,
    I'm a brand new user of Captivate and I'm working with version 4.  I'll do my best to not get on your nerves with all the newbie questions!
    Current issue - I'm working within a single slide and have a small segment highlighted with the Zoom function.  The Zoom is working great, but there are multiple items within the Zoom box that I would like to highlight/indicate for the viewers.  I want to use a basic arrow to point at the icon I'm referring to in the audio, so I've tried adding an Image of an arrow, but it always appears behind the Zoom box when I Preview or Publish the project.  I've tried using both jpeg and bmp formats for the image and see no difference.  I've also tried to work with the Order of the Image and Zoom, setting them to 'Step Back, 'Bring to Front', etc, but it doesn't make a difference.
    Any suggestions on how I can get the image to show up on top of the Zoom box?
    Side question - I had to find an image of a basic arrow on the web, as all I could find within Captivate 4 are the Animated Arrows.  Does Captivate have good old basic arrows and pointers?  If so, where might I might find them?
    Thanks in advance.
