Adding Analytics Script to All Pages of Site

Hi. I'm new to DW so pleaes forgive me if this is a silly question.
I'm trying to install my analytics code on a site I recently created. I know I can go through each and every page and paste the code onto the page, but there has to be a more efficient and easier way to do this.
How do insert a peice of code into the header of every page on a site?

Use a server side include for your Google code.

Insert a server-side include statement in your document. I typically put Analytics code down towards the end of the page just before the closing </body> tag.
Server-side includes can be used for all your common sitewide elements, too, such as headers, footers, menus, etc... They make editing much faster because you only need to open one file, save and upload it. All the magic happens on the server.
The caveat is that your server must support the use of server-side includes. Most reputable ones do. And you'll need to save your site pages with either .php or .shtml extensions. Most shared hosting accounts don't don't support SSIs in straight .html pages without jumping through hoops. It's usually easier to just rename the pages to .php or .shtml.

There is a way to make the script available to all pages without including it in all pages ?

Reference the script via a <tt>script</tt> element in the Header section of utilised page templates.

I have firefox for the mobile and I have been feverishly trying to clear the topsites/ all pages tab and I can't seem to succeed. I have looked at the other topic posted about it but the solution is not working. I have cleared all my data thirteen times, however the topsites/all pages tab continues to be populated. Is there another way of clearing them shy of unstalling the app and reinstalling?

What are you trying to clear? If you are trying to clear the 10 most visited sites, then the database inquiry will just return the same or other webpages but you would always have 10.
So why are you tying to do this, maybe you should should just remove the "smart bookmark folder" from your bookmarks toolbar or wherever you see it.

Adding link titles to all pages

I've completed all the pages for a site design in FW CS4, but now want to add title=" " to each hyperlink. There are repeated hotspots in all the site pages, where I copy/pasted from hotspots on the first page. So I'm wondering if there is a way to add the title code to all the repeated links at once, without going into Dreamweaver and doing it one at a time.

I don't know whether or not you can add link titles in Firerworks, because I don't use Fireworks to produce HTML. It isn't an HTML authoring environment, and whenever I've looked into its HTML I've wished I hadn't!
I do have a suggestion for you, that might be useful to you.
My favorite text editor is TextPad (www.textpad.com). It's shareware (more than worth it, to me!), but there's a trial you can use. It can perform search and replace across multiple open documents. To change the link titles in 20 documents, you'd open your 20 documents, set up your search/replace for "All documents," and hit "Replace All." Then move on to the next link title. If you need to search and replace something that spans more than one line, you can check the box to use the regular expressions. For new lines, use \n (for tabs, use \t).

Not publishing entire site with all pages from site studio Designer

Hi,
I have created the site with one primary page & one secondary page in the site designer. I must admit that they don't have link to each other. When I publishing this site using Oracle Site studio publishing utility to a subscriber, it is publishing the primary page as index.htm in the destination. It is not pulling the secondary page. But i would like to get the entire site including the secondary page. What needs to be done to get the entire site. If you have any idea, please let me know.

One way is setting a region in secondary as 'set replaceable' and geting ssURL from the code and link them in primary page.

MOST VISITED FOLDER all screwed up! Top sites gone; collecting all pages seen...How to fix?

Top sites have disappeared from MOST VISITED FOLDER and is collecting ALL pages visited. I am having to delete as I surf.
Additionally, the top sites just stayed in the MOST VISITED folder after I deleted them from showing up on the Bookmarks Toolbar. Now if I do that, it is not in MOST VISITED FOLDER.
I am NO techie so hope your help is simple, clear and step-by-step.
This has never happened before...HELP, ASAP!

* "Most Visited" and "Recently Bookmarked" and "Recent Tags" are examples of so called [[Smart Bookmarks folders|Smart Bookmarks folders]] and are not real existing folders.
* Such smart folders show a list created by a query of the places.sqlite database that stores the bookmarks and the history in Firefox.
* Smart folder lists show a maximum of 10 entries by default.
* Bookmarks or history items that show up in a smart folder list are stored elsewhere in another folder and any changes made are applied to the real bookmark or history item.
* If you remove an entry then the list is shifted up and a new entry that wasn't shown previously is added to show 10 entries.
* If you add a new bookmark or visit a website then a new item is added at the top and the entry at the bottom disappears from that list.
* Items that disappear from the list are not gone, but merely do not show up anymore in that list.
* Actions like copy & paste or delete that you perform on bookmarks in such a list are done on the original bookmark.
You may have a problem with the places.sqlite file if the history isn't working properly.
You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file in the Firefox Profile Folder.

Open email & top of bar says fire fox not responding & get script error on page asking to stop script or continue. Loading most mail or sites is slow now that I returned from Japan and using same laptop. Any ideas?

my laptop stops responding when I open email right in the middle of writing email or checking email and when I open bookmarks. Up the top it says firefox not responding and a script error block opens asking me to continue or stop script. It give me this same error all the time no matter if I select continue or stop script.

As far as email sites go. The "Adblock Plus" extension with at least the "EasyList US" filter subscription would probably help. I does block a lot of unnecessary Script files whose sole purpose is to provide advertising. You can of course add additional filter subscriptions or filters of your own.
There are many extensions that can cause such problems, and you may have to go through your extensions.
One thing you might do is eliminate Problematic Extensions that you are not using, but mainly check to see how the create problems and you may have to make a choice between extensions. The Unresponsive Script Warning page lists some extensions with problems (thought it listed more) and describes how to check through your extensions to help find which extension is the problem Sometimes the message will tell you.

How do I move analytics' script (code) to the bottom of the page?

I use Google Analytics and Statcounter to track Web site usage. I also track document (PDF, Word, etc) downloads.
I can place the Analytics scripts in the head of the HTML using page properties or master page properties, but having the script in the head of the document can prevent the script in Statcounter from tracking downloads.the script must be at the bottom of the HTML near the end </body> tag.
Any suggestions appreciated.

You can try Exporting your site as HTML and then manually open the Html page of your website and add the code in that.

How can I get my Indesign script to apply to all pages in the document?

Which one is the Right Approach - Re Using Page Layouts or adding Web parts directly to pages instead of page layouts in SP 2013 online site ?

I am SharePoint 2013 developer. Before asking question I would like to explain the requirement in clarity.
We are developing one O365 SharePoint online site which is having 10 different page layouts with different and some common webparts and we are reusing these page layouts by deploying a sandboxed solution which is having page layouts. These page layouts contain
filter and query to display data using some condition and predefined values. By using these layouts we have to create 100+ pages. All pages will show data according to that page name and category (if it belongs any). We have not written any code to develop
the site, everything is OOB feature.
We have used below feature/list/lib of SP Online 2013:
- Document Library
- Survey
- Calendar
- Lists
- Discussion forum library
- OOB Search feature
Now, I would like to know whether this is the right approach to reuse the page layouts. Or can we add webparts directly where the logic resides in the webparts and add them to the pages instead of page layouts?
Also how to deploy page layouts/pages from one server to another? Currently we are deploying everything as a feature using sandbox solution.
Could you please let me know the right approach to follow. I am asking this question because we are facing below issues:
- Sometime page layouts gets corrupted, showing nothing.
- All written filters/logic disappear when we open layouts in Designer
- Deployment is pain using Sandbox solution

Interesting question, to which i do not know a definitive answer.
Output Caching is used to increase performance and to reduce load on the box. However since you're in the MS Cloud you don't need to worry about the latter and MS do the worrying about the former. I wouldn't be surprised if MS have updated the behaviour
for O365 and not updated the documentation. That first office.com article is using 2010 screenshots which doesn't fill me with confidence about it's continuing relevance. Don't forget that SharePoint 2013 and O365 are technically different versions and have
very different behaviour in places.
Generally i'd say not to worry, but in this case if you do find any more information i'd love to see it.

Event Receiver for all Page Libraries in a Site Collection

We have a single site collection with many different page libraries. I'd like to create a single event receiver for ALL page libraries in the site collection (850- Page Library). Can you do this?
The event receiver will essentially remove/expire something we have stored in the System.Web.HttpRuntime.Cache. We are caching the content in the Page Library and would only like to expire the cache when a new page or change is performed on some
content in the page library.

Listing (for further action) all page items that have a certain script label

Well the question is essentially in the subject line: how to find and work on all page items of a document (or a page/spread) that have the same script label (or better: whose script label contain the same word)?
I tried some variations around something like that, with no results:
set list_pageitems to every page item of page i whose label is "product"
Any clues?

I found the answer (for those who might be interested), but still have a question (for those who know).
The solution:
set list_pageitems to page item "product" of page i
If you want to do it for a whose document (in may case, deleting some page items):
delete page item "product" of document 1
Strange syntax but it works :-)
The remaining question:
How to find page items whose label contains a certain string: it would be like selecting page items by tags (every word of the script label would be considered as a tag)?

I have a javascript for add xml tags (ETMV2 Pearson, InDesign CS4). We have select my powermath equation data then run script. Script automatically insert xml tags both side (open/close). But we select one by one then run script its time taking.
