Adding attachment while ordering in CPSC 10.1

We are doing study on 10.1 with Service Catalog module turned on. We noticed that when adding the service to the cart, before ordering it, you cannot easily add attachment to the order. You would have to go to the other module (Order Management) and then find your un-submitted requisition and then add the attachment. This is very user unfriendly. In older versions (My Services module), you would have Add & Review Order button where you could add attachment.
Does anyone know if there is an easy way to add attachment to the order in Service Catalog module?

We have also come across this issue, unfortunately there is no 'Add and Review' button anymore which is what allowed one to do this in the past. It seems attachments cannot be added until a requisition exists for that request (i.e. a valid requisition number exists).
There were some small changes we did to make the flow a little simpler though, we modified the order confirmation page to included a hyper link to navigate back to the request without having to go back to ongoing orders, this was done by modifying the handlebar templates and scripts so it can be a complex change.

  • Email Billing document as PDF Attachment while saving from VF01/02

    Hi,
    Can anybody suggest if there is any BADI/User Exit/Configuration exists in order to email Billing document as a PDF attachment while saving from VF01 or VF02?
    We need to trigger this while saving the Output type say, VF02 GOTO -> HEADER -> OUTPUT (select the output type) -> SAVE - should send an email with PDF attachment.
    I have written the code for sending email with PDF attachment. Presently this code is included in the Print program for the sapscript and an email is sent when an output is issued from VF01/02/03 where as the requirement is to send email whenever the document is saved.
    Thanks in Advance,
    Srinivas

    Hi,
    While saving subroutine FORM_OPEN will get triggerred, and this will be included in the Z Program. If it is not contained in the Z program, include this subroutine. This subroutine will have include RVADOPFO.
    The above include will have the function module ADDR_GET_NEXT_COMM_TYPE, and the import parameter LVS_COMM_VALUES will contain the address number and email address to whom the pdf needs to be sent.
    So here, i.e. In place of standard include RVADOPFO, put custom include ZRVADOPFO, and modify the code as below.
    After the function module ADDR_GET_NEXT_COMM_TYPE, read the email address from any custom table based on the various conditions or hard coded value, then move it to the below variable.
    LVS_COMM_VALUES-ADSMTP-SMTP_ADDR.
    And remaining functionality will be taken care by the standard code. i.e. converting the spool to PDF and attaching it while sending the email etc....
    If I am not wrong, the same functionality will work  even while saving the sales order etc..

  • ITunes 11 Recently Added and Sorting Order

    Upon updating to iTunes 11 last week, I've found that my Recently Added playlist is completely out of order both on my iPhone 4 and in iTunes on my Mac.
    The playlist is now set to sort by artist name, not the date that the songs were added. Ordinarily, I would just switch my display to "Sort by: Date Added." However, when I do this, the tracks within each album are now listed alphabetically, rather than being listed in track order. Towards the bottom of my playlist, songs aren't even sorted by album anymore - three albums are completely mixed up, because I purchased them at the same time.
    When I view this album on my iPhone, the same problem occurs. The songs are listed in the order that I downloaded the album, but the songs within the album are either in a random order (probably the order in which the songs finished downloading) or they are listed alphabetically. This did NOT happen prior to downloading iTunes 11.
    To summarize: I can get the songs listed in the correct track order if I sort by artist, but then the albums are not sorted by date added. I can get the albums sorted by date added, but then the tracks are not sorted in correct track order.
    What I would love is for the playlist to show the most recent album that I downloaded, with the tracks in the correct order. In other words:
    Most Recent Album
         Track 1
         Track 2
         Track 3
    Next Most Recent Album
         Track 1
         Track 2
         Track 3
    Is this possible?

    For reference...
    In this image, you can see that the playlist is sorting by artist, and within each album, the tracks are in the correct order.
    In this next image, you will see that I have sorted the playlist by "Date Added." When I do this, the "Sleeping with Sirens" album is in REVERSE alphabetical order (because it's ascending, not descending), not reverse track order. The albums near the top of the playlist are completely jumbled up.
    Prior to updating to iTunes 11, the playlist worked wonderfully. The far-left column (the one that is selected in the first photo) was selected, and it would list all of my songs in the manner I outlined in the first post (albums by date added, with track order intact) and all was well. I am wondering if it is possible to get that again, or, if not, why?

    thanks.

    I have tried this but that doiesn't work:
    Changing the subject for email order confirmations
    An output type ZEXT was created to send emails of order confirmations to a certain distribution list in PDF format. (See the SAP Exchange Connector Implementation Documentation for details on this setup.)
    The following code and config was implemented in order to change the email subject line.
    Configuration for ZEXT (External order confirmation by email)
    Transaction: V/30
    General Data: Access Seq: 0009 (SalesOrg./Cust./Order type), Access to Conditions CHECKED.
    Replacement of text symbols – Program: ZEXT. Form routine: TEXT_SYMBOL_REPLACE

    Mail and Titles: &KUNNR&:Order &VBELN&
    Processing Routines: Program: RVADOR01, Form Routine: ENTRY, Form: YPCC_ORDCONF_STD
    Condition Record
    Using VV12 you need to add a condition record as applicable. Note that the Communication record must point to your ZMAIL output device and has the following entry as Text for Cover Page: &KUNNR&(&VBELN&)
    Code for ZEXT subject definition
    REPORT zext.

  • Rules applying the green check to the dictionary check boxes on upper right while ordering a service.

    Rules applying the green check to the dictionary check boxes on upper right while ordering a service.
    I'm trying to find information in the manuals about when the green check is applied to the dictionary check boxes to the right of the service form during ordering moment.   I have customers who want to know why the check is missing when they enter the data displaying for that dictionary.
    Thanks.

    Hi Nancy,
    The expected behavior is that the box should be checked once there are no remaining mandatory fields in the particular dictionary. Once the user completes and then exits the last mandatory field, the box should be checked. Is this not the behavior you are seeing?

    Where can I find a list of error codes that can be easy to understand? PDF, word, etc.
    Thanks.

    Hi Diego,
    Looking at your code I see that you are doing a
    line.add();
    You don’t need to have this here unless you are adding another line to your document.
    Maybe this will help you.
    Also just because java is a bit different from VB get the last error message using
    SBOErrorMessage errMsg= comp.getLastError();
    System.out.println(errMsg.getErrorMessage());

  • Adding attachment via File browse not working

    Hi, I'm using Apex 4.1.1 through GlassFish server 3.1.1. Recently I've imported my database application and after running my app, adding of an attachment isn't working anymore. Before I used Apex via Emb. PL/SQL Gateway(from which I've exported app sql) and everything worked just fine. My code for adding attachment is like this:
    IF (:P2_ATTACHMENT IS NOT NULL)
    THEN
    INSERT INTO ATTACHS
    (ID_ATACHMENT,NAME_ATTACH, TYPE_ATTACH, ATTACHMENT, DATE_ATTACH)
    SELECT ID,NAME, mime_type,blob_content, sysdate
    FROM wwv_flow_files
    WHERE NAME = :P2_ATTACHMENT;
    DELETE wwv_flow_files
    WHERE NAME = :P2_ATTACHMENT;
    :P2_ATTACHMENT := NULL;
    END IF;
    If I skip this piece of code, and try to submit page(where is also couple of other insert statements), then is ok.
    What is the problem of this, GlassFish, wwv_flow_files table, apex listener...?
    Thanks.

    Hi,
    >
    isn't working anymore.

    Do you get an error? What diagnostic details do you have? E.g. what do see in View Debug if you run the page in Debug mode?
    Prima facie, there is nothing wrong in the code or in the infrastructure.
    Regards,
    PS: Please post code in {code} tags.

  • New DMS document attachment to order header - can it also be done to a task list?

    With business function LOG_EAM_CI_6, you can now attach DMS documents to the order header or operation level in the 'Additional Data' tab.
    Since a lot of clients use documents to list complex preventive maintenance instructions, is it also possible to attach a DMS document to a task list header (or operation) and have it show up in the new 'Additional Data' screen area of the resulting order (using a maintenance item/plan to generate the order)?  Or do we still have to use the task list operation PRT functionality and have it show up in the order's operation PRT?

    Hi Arthur,
    I have configured Task list as per the SAP note 1821916  & activated DOC_TL_GUI. This allowed me to attach documents to the Operation &/or Header of the Task Lists. The problem I am facing is when I assign the task list to the work order the documents are not transferred . You have stated that they have transferred to the work order so I am wondering if there is something I missed.
    Arthur Balajthy wrote:
    And I checked that by adding documents to a task list header or operation, the work order generated from a maintenance plan/item referencing that task list does have those documents attached also.
    I haven't tried from a Plan but will do that now.
    I assumed if they were attached to the Task List Operation they would transfer to the Work Order like everything else on the Task List
    Thanks in advance

  • Adding Tunes IN ORDER to Library, Playlists and iPod

    I prefer to browse my iPod and my Library by the preference of DATE ADDED, with the most recent tunes added showing at the bottom of the window. When I convert a CD the songs load in to the library in the order they appeared on the CD, conveniently preserving the sequence of the CD so that if I choose to play all or part of an album from the itunes list with DATE ADDED as the sort preference, it plays in the order of the original CD sequence. BUT, when I drag an albums worth of tunes, or even a playlist of that album, to the iPod, they load onto it in a random, and unpredictable order..how can I make sure that when I bring tunes into the playlist, and subsequently onto the ipod, while keeping my preferred sort order, that they load in and appear in their proper sequence, or the one that I prefer? Thanks, m.

    Once you copy the files to your iPod, click the "Date added" heading at the top of one of the columns on the ipod window in iTunes (if it's not visible go Edit->view options-> and click "date added").
    Now that the songs are in the order you want, control-click the ipod icon and click "Copy to play order".
    Does that work for you?

  • Mail slow/hangs when adding attachment

    Recently Mail hangs or takes a long time, showing the spinning beachball, when adding an attachment. For instance it took over two minutes to add a 44k Word document - previously it would be seconds.
    This happens with all user accounts on this Mac.
    I've not added any software recenttly that may have caused this.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks
    Bruce

    Go to Apple Menu > System Preferences > Network, choose Network Port Configurations from the Show popup menu, and make sure that the configuration used to connect to Internet appears at the top of the list. Leave checked (enabled) only the port configuration needed to connect to Internet and Built-in Ethernet (in that order if not the same), uncheck (disable) the rest of network port configurations (Parallels in particular, if you have that installed) and see whether that helps — if it doesn’t, turn ON again the ones you want enabled.

    Not sure what you mean. Are you saying that you haven’t installed any software recently, or that you have installed something but you know for sure it cannot have a bearing on this? If the latter, how do you know?
