Could any please guide me how to add Bar Code in List output.I tried various ways but i couldnt reach the point .Please guide me where i can find some good documents.

Printing Barcodes with ABAP 
We are now ready to print barcodes using an ABAP report program or a SAPSCRIPT form. In these examples we are using Code 39 barcodes which require very little formatting (all we have to do is add asterisks before and after the data).
Sample ABAP Program:
DATA: BAR_CODE1(16) VALUE `ABC01230123A01'
NEW-PAGE PRINT ON IMMEDIATELY `X'.
FORMAT COLOR OFF INTENSIFIED OFF.
If the barcode is the first element on the page, the following Write
statement is needed (otherwise you get a date in the first print
control.
WRITE:/
Turn on the barcode font, print the data, and switch back to the
printer's default font. Be sure to use NO-GAP to avoid unwanted
characters or CR/LF.
PRINT-CONTROL FUNCTION `BCPFX'
WRITE: BAR_CODE1 NO-GAP
PRINT-CONTROL FUNCTION `BCSFX'
Add a Write statement to prevent insertion of CR/LF into the barcode.

Adding bar codes to printer device for smartforms pdf conversion?

Hello friends,
I would like to send a smartform as a pdf to an email recipient. The smartform shows some bar codes. The send process workes fine. But the bar codes doesn't appear on the pdf correctly. Therefore I would like to add bar codes to the printer device type in transaction SE73.
Does somebody know the device type for smartforms pdf conversion? Or how can I add bar codes to smartforms pdf conversion process?

Regarding Bar Code Printing in SMART FORMS

Hi All,
I need to print a Bar Code in the output for Material Field on Header Data.
For this in smart styles:
I have decalred a style Character Format: BM by choosing Bar Code Name: RUECKNR
Then in Layout set code of Smartform i have decalred the same in following way:
Material No: &G_MAT_NO& <BM>&G_MAT_NO&</>
But in output it is showing as below:
Material No: 60000001 <BM>60000001</>
It is not showing any barcode for Material Number!
Can anybody solve this issue!

Hi,
Choose the style name in output options of the text.
Click the field list on/off button.From the list of the fields displayed,drag G_MAT_NO[don't type manually] from there to text element. Then select Text editor and then in that go to -> change editor.
Insert the character created in style ( Say BM) in that change editor. That will display the barcode for date.
Material No: &G_MAT_NO& <BM>&G_MAT_NO&</>

Adding a download progress bar to a flash output

I have the CS4 production premium package. I made a flash based web page to function like my DVD project by "building" the project in Encore which creates the page along with the referenced flash video files without having to know action script. I was wondering if there is an easy way to include a download progress bar in the flash output? If it is not possible to add a download progress bar directly by changing some option before I "build"/export the project from Encore, is there a snippet of code I could insert in one of the files after it has been created so a progress bar is added to the video? Here is a link to the page I created. If you click the "TQ4" button you will notice that there is no download progress bar that is visible when the controls are showing.

There's no easy way, no.
It may be possible to do this in Flash if you built your own custom player, but you'd essentially have to reverse engineer your Encore Flash output (no small task).
If you have access to a Flash Media Server, you might want to consider the streaming output option, which avoids downloading issues entirely.

Bar code shipment numbers on picking lists

Dear All,
I want to add Bar code to shipment numbers on picking lists so warehouse/shippers can scan the bar code instead of type in the number. This would really save time on UPS shipments. Currently the warehouse/shippers have to type each UPS shipment number twice (one time to confirm pick and one time to print packing list). Since there are 50 - 100 UPS shipments daily, a lot of time could be saved with scanning the shipment number instead of keying.
What can be the resolution for this? Can this be automated at the configuration level?
Or can it be done through the help of coding? Any ideas on this issue?

The t.o. confirmation can be automatic at the time of t.o. creation (autoconfirm) if you desire and/or you could make the print output to trigger at time of t.o. confirmation.
Another option would be to paste the shipment numbers into an excel file and convert the numbers to bar code for scanning.
You can get a very popular bar code "font" (3 of 9 barcode) free online and use it just like any other font in excel.

Bar Code don't show in PDF output

Hi,
I am trying to generate a BI publisher report from Oracle APEX with some text as Bar codes.
The report runs perfectly when run from BI publisher but when its run from APEX The Barcodes dont show when I select the output format as .pdf.
I tested for other output formats available in APEX like Word, Excel,HTML then the output is generated correctly with barcodes. Problem is only with PDF. Please help.

It's actually not that bad. That kind of corruption means that the program has got the wrong information about the size and height of the image.
For instance, if you had Peter's Avatar, which is a 46x46 image:
And you somehow thought it was 23x96 image, it would look like this:
and it looks like that's what's going on.
Save your image.
Open in Photoshop.
Save as a Portable Bit Map.
Open in a good editor, like Emacs.
The top of the file looks like this:
P6
46
46
255
Mess with the dimensions (46x46) until you get it right.
There's probably a better tool for this, but that's one.

Text need to be added in the packign list of the output

Hi,
From the transaction NACE, get the print program attached to your output type "ZL10". If you can read the code, please set a break point and see how it is determined in the delivery note output. Then check why it is not coming for your packing note.
If not ask your ABAP developer to check same for you!

Hi Mohammed,
are you referring to the PO box in the sales order ? If yes, check with your driver program for the script output, there must be some condition which makes the shipping address print or not in the presence of PO box. You can know the script program by going to NACE t.code for the delivery output conditon LD00 in application V2 which is for shipping. Now coming to the availability of a change mode in your quality server, check with the basis team if you have authorization to go in the change mode or not.

Save State Form - dirty when bar codes added on print.

Hi All,
I have a form that is in a saved state. When it is printed bar codes are added on the preprint and removed on the post print. This "dirtys" the form. I have tried many ways to reset the dirty flag so that the form is still in a save state but nothing has worked.
Has anyone ever been successful in doing this using "event.target.dirty" or any other way?
I can get app.execMenuItem("SaveAs"); to work but not app.execMenuItem("Save");

I have an sample form for a similar case.
It uses a fuction to reset the dirty flag eveytime a 'animated' button changes it's color.

To be more clear on this here is the scenario: -
The Shippers have to key in all shipment numbers two times on UPS, LTL, & TRUCKLOADS. They have to key in the shipment numbers two times: - First to physically pull the units and then after all the units are pulled, they have to key in the shipment number again to get the packing or picking list to print.
To avoid this above process: -
If we could get the shipment number in a bar-code on the pick ticket above or beside the CURRENT HUMAN READABLE NUMBER So that the shipment number can be scanned instead of keying in again.
For this scenario I want to create a pick list showing the position of the Bar-code after I change the printing logic through a smartform. For this I wanted to create a pick list to make the end user have a better visibility. Basically I want to create some test data. Any clues on this.

SAPScript bar code output in PDF format

Hi,
I am working in 4.6D. I am trying to get the zip code bar code symbol to display in PDF as Postnet. When it displays at this point it has the numeric code that would trigger the simm module on a printer to print the corresponding bar code symbol. I need to get this to display in the PDF document as well. Does anyone have any ideas on how to do this in SAPScript?
Any help or suggestions well be greatly appreciated.

Printing scannable Bar Codes on PDF file?

Hi:
I am working a PO report (standard) and designing using RTF template to print as PDF output.
I need to print the item as bar code that needs to be scanned. I downloaded a free font 39 and registered in Admin tab of XML Publisher responsibility. I also installed the font in my local machine and added it in my template.
When I run the report and view the output, the bar code appears on PDF. When I try to scan the bar code, its not scanning the bar code.
What is the step that I am missing? Please help ASAP.

As a first step make sure you're using the correct start/stop characters for your barcode.
In this case for Code 39 you would need an asterisk * at the start and end of the barcode, make sure to apply the barcode to the asterisk as well.

Edit: If you got the free font from a vendor check the terms of use on it. Some vendors will give you a font that will show you how it should look but it will not be scanable.

to print barcodes in sapscripts you have to do following steps..
1.choose Character format options
2. Then choose change mode.
3. provide a name say C1 in character format option and then press enter.
4.provide description for that character format say C1.
5.you can find barcode option.place the cursor in that one and press F4 then it will display the list of barcodes available.
6.choose one of them say BC_MSIC.
Now you have created a character format say C1 with the Barcode properties.
Exmaple:
If you want to print the price in barcode format which is in ITAB-Netwr, you have to give the syntax in the script editor like ....
<C1>&ITAB-NETWR&</>
then it will prints barcode in your output....
