Adding Color to JTree Nodes

Question

I have created a JTree for a GUI.
The User Selects a Folder on the Computer to serve as the root of the Tree.
And the tree is generated following the path of the children files:
Such as:
- RootFile
    - SubFolder1
        - Foo1.txt
        - bar1.txt
    - SubFolder2
        - Foo2.txt
        - bar2.txt
    - fooBar.txtI have also made some functions that will parse the text files, looking for a certain string.
For example, checking if the File contains "hello World".
What i want to do now is add color to the JTree files depending on if they pass the test.
Something like:
if (myNode.getFile().contains("hello World"))
    myNode.setColor("Green");
else
    myNode.setColor("Red");
}I would want to either have the text be green/red, or the entire background of the node be green/red
So then the tree may look like: (i can't actually do color on this, so bear with me)
- RootFile
      - SubFolder1
(green)   - Foo1.txt (green)
(red)     - bar1.txt (red)
       - SubFolder2
(red)     - Foo2.txt (red)
(green)   - bar2.txt  (red)
(red) - fooBar.txt (red)Anyone know if this is possible? is it simple? where would i go to learn about changing the color? Or do you have a simple example to show me?

i was hoping someone would have a quick answer to the questionI was hoping you would take the trouble to read the answer I kindly provided.
Obviously I was wrong.I did not say that to you, i said that to the person who said "go read everything about swing".You said it to everybody on the forum actually, and in any case surely I am 'someone'?
