Adding field in header of FBL5N

Hi,
I would like to add a customer's telephone number to the existing header of FBL5N. I know we can achieve it through BTE 00001640. I am getting the telephone no. above the customer no. whereas i want to display the customer no. and the telephone no. on the same line. Customer No. is being displayed on the left hand side. I have to display the telephone no. on the right hand side in the same line.
Can someone help me please.

hi darek,
          sorry to bother you again, the standard header of FBL5N is visible even when we scroll the line items to left. but unlikely my header is partially visible or invisible when the cursor is scrolled to left to view other columns.
        For example if the layout is dispalying 10 columns , then the first say 7 coulmns would appear on the screen, n the restwould b on the left hand side. SO to view those columns we wil scroll the line items to left. When i scroll it, the standard header it is appearing but when i supress the standard and use my customised header , the header details get partiall visible or disapper if i move it to the end of the columns.
          Kindly let me know what extra functianlity i ahve to add to achieve this.

Adding field in ME21N po header

Hi All,
I have added field on ME21N on header level.
I used below screen exit
SAPMM06E 0101 CUSTSCR1 SAPLXM06 0101 Subscreen: PO header
and added fields to structure CI_EKKODB. Field is created on ME21N but table is not updating.
can you please let me know what and where should I write the code to update the table.

Mass maintenance and BDC Recodring of custom fields added in PO header.

Hello Experts,
I have created a custom fields in PO header and used Structure for BADI implementation to update the header with values enterd in custom table.
My requirement is for some selected PO i want to fix the value of one of my custom field at header level.
I have tried both the options Mass maintenance and BDC recording but the issue i'm facing is when i go for mass maintenance it is giving me the ERROR and it seems that we can only do the mass maintenance for sap-standard fields only.
When i go for BDC recording i'm facing the issue that when i do SHDB and start recording for ME22N my custom field is coming grayed out and i'm not able to input the desired value in custom field and complete my recording.

Instead of BDC i'm doing it through the BAPI   "BAPI_PO_CHANGE" by populating the structure extensionin but here i'm facing the error as below:-

Issue while creating a field at header level in CRM 4.0

Using transaction EEWB, I tried to add a custom field at the header level to an existing Project. The Project already had an extension created to which I made the modifications i.e. added the field at header level. But, when I tried to generate the changes, <b>I got the following two errors : 1. No task for editing objects can be determined and 2. Creating of BAdi Implementation failed</b>.
Now, when I try to revert back the changes I am not allowed to do so. Please help me as I am new to CRM. Thanks a lot in advance.

Add custom fields in header of FI documents using FI_HEADER_SUB_1300IM

We are trying to add a couple of custom fields in header area of FB01 by making a copy of badi FI_HEADER_SUB_1300IM. With this method we are facing a couple of problems
- The custom fields added in bkpf structure, only appears in FB01 just in the case we have go before to FB03 or FB02.
- We don´t reach to save data of these fields in table BKPF.
can anybody help us with these problems?

Cool! I didn't know this BADI!
Playing around with existing implementations I can see that, BADI_SD_TAB_CUST_H, can definitely enhance the Sales order header with additional tab strip screens. Similarly BADI_SD_TAB_CUST_I can be used to enhance Sales order item screens.
Here is what I understand from the coding of an existing implementation
ACTIVATE_TAB_PAGE - takes a module pool program name and a subscreen that you created and adds it as a additional tab page to sales order header screen. You need to pass back f_program and f_dynpro with your program and screen number that you painted
TRANSFER_DATA_TO_SUBSCREEN - can be used to read and pass data to the fields on the subscreen you created
TRANSFER_DATA_FROM_SUBSCREEN - can be used to pass back whatever changes done by user to the respective Z variables in VBAK
PASS_FCODE_TO_SUBSCREEN - Pass the fcode the user selected to your subscreen.
I would suggest that you create a function group and create screens, functions etc within that and use those in these methods. Refer existing implementations. The global data of the function group can then be used to communicate between all the above methods

Adding Fields to People Search Results Page

Hi
Working in SharePoint Online, I've been able to add a few fields to the People Search results page successfully:
Organization
Office Locator
Office Location
Work Phone
Mobile Phone
Home Phone
Work Email
All of the above fields are working and display on the People search results page.
I tried to add these and they simply do not display. There is no error:
University Email
Assistant
Calendar/Scheduling
I set them up the same way. I created the Property in the User Profile area. I then populated the data for each user. I then added the property as a Managed property (search schema) linked to the Crawled property from the People category.
Made sure that they were query able, retrievable, searchable, etc. Then I edited the People Search code and then I waited over the weekend for the search to pick them up. I came into work this morning and they still do not display. Here is

According to your post, my understanding is that you have an issue about adding fields in people search results page.
Per my knowledge, there is no issue in your steps, and the issue may be related to the search crawl in SharePoint online.
For SharePoint server on-premise, we can start the search full crawl, however, for SharePoint online, we could not start the search full crawl manually.
You can wait for some time to complete the search full crawl in SharePoint online, then check whether it works.
As this is the forum for SharePoint server on-premise, I’m not familiar with the SharePoint online search crawl, for this issue, I recommend you can post a new question in the forum for Office 365/SharePoint online.

Runtime added fields in OADefaultDoubleColumnBean are not rendering.

I need to add a OAMessageTextInputBean to a OADefaultDoubleColumnBean. I am able to create the OAMessageextInputBean and render it properly under pagelayout. However when I add it under a OADefaultDoubleColumnBean, its not rendering. Am I missing to set any attribute?

Thanks for the reply. I read that in the dev guide. However, doing so adding fields at the end of the page. i.e, DefaultDoubleColumn have direct from fileds and some sub headers under it, and I need to add my fileds to the top region which directly falls under default category. Or, Is there a way to insert a header between direct sub fields and sub header.

Collections Management - Adding Field to Customer Invoice Level View

Hello,
Has anyone successfully added additional fields available in FBL5N to the invoice level view of a customer when drilling into the customer invoice detail from a worklist?

Hi Kevin,
The BadI for adding fields when displaying worklist items is UDM_WL_ITEM_DISP_C. You will need to add your fields to the customer include C_ATTRIBUTES in order to get them to display. Drill into the changing parameter of the method BEFORE_ALV_DISP to see more detail on that.
Once you have added your new fields you will need to fill them with data within that BadI method and also add the field to the displayed ALV when you go into your worklist from the front-end.

Adding field in Report Painter

Hello Gurus,
I am working in the Report Painter PR20-001.
My requirement is to add a new column in the output of the report but even when i am able to add a new field and save it on the reports execution i am unable to view the added field in the output.
Kindly tell me the entire procedure to add a new field in the output of the respective report painter output.

Hi,
Go to Global Parameters Definitaion in report painter, variable will be used only along with the field, just in global paramerters enter your desired field and click in next column, system will show you a pop up select your variable for that field...
now its just done run the report and test it!
If you still not make it refer to standard report of such kind, you will surely get it....

Newly added field not getting displayed in ALV output

   I'm adding one more field/column to be displayed in an old existing program that uses REUSE_ALV_FIELDCATALOG_MERGE to generate the ALV fieldcat.

The newly added field is not getting populated in the lv_fieldcat table. Tried running programs BALVBUFDEL,
BCALV_BUFFER_DEL_SHARED then logging off and logging in but of no help.

Fieldcat is buffered - so use
I_BYPASSING_BUFFER = 'X'
Since a while CL_GUI_ALV_GRID is available which does NOT need any fieldcat (is determined internally using RTTI). It is worth playing around whith this class if you have some time. This class is recommended for ALV Output by SAP (but no edit is possible - was never supported officially).
A simple use would be:
data: gt_output type standard table of (adjust!).
*simple ALV output
data go_alv type ref to cl_salv_table.
data go_functions type ref to cl_salv_functions_list.
data go_columns type ref to cl_salv_columns_table.
data go_column type ref to cl_salv_column_table.
*Exceprion handlig
data: go_exception type ref to cx_root,
      gv_errortext   type string.
** fill table gt_output ...
** ALV output
if not gt_output is initial.
    try.
        call method cl_salv_table=>factory
          importing
            r_salv_table = go_alv
          changing
            t_table      = gt_output.
      catch cx_salv_msg into go_exception.
        gv_errortext = go_exception->get_text( ).

Added fields not appearing in the DSO transformations.

I have added three new info objects into data fields in the DSO then activated and not appearing added fields in the transformations.

Hi Jayapal,
i dont know whether it would help you...you can give a try on it.
Instead of deleting the Transformation, just delete the mappings if any in the transformation.
Goto DS->Fields Tab-->In the Column Template info Object. Try mapping corresponding IO with the Source IO.
Then it will show a pop up give Copy . Activate the DS.
Goto Info Provider>Select the Transformation> If it is active-->reactivate it by clicking the Pencil Icon with glass and click activate icon.
If its not active, then reactivate it again by clicking the Pencil Icon with glass.
