Adding item level field to field catalog for a PPF for Outbound Delivery

Hi,
We wish to send a method call to an external system at the time of PGI of the Outbound Delivery Order for the combination of Product/Ship To combination.
Since Product is at item level and not in the standard field catalog, I added it to the field catalog in config, defined a new condition table, access sequence, condition type and maintained it in the right Procedure/Maintenance Group (Outbound Delivery).
Then I defined a new Action Definition, with a new method to send the details to the external system, but am confused on what Schedule Condition I should assign to this Action Definition. If I use standard Outbound Delivery Printing Schedule Condition /SCWM/FDO_PRINT, the PPF only triggers when I use the standard condition type 0DDN with the standard Access Sequence (no Product available). However if I use the new condition type (with product) with the same Schedule condition: /SCWM/FDO_PRINT, the PPF does not get triggered. The log in SLG1 simply says Condition is not fulfilled.
Can you please suggest
Do I need to work with my developer on building a new schedule condition which would look at the new condition technique I have condition records for? Or is there a non ABAP way of making this work?
Lastly, if my ODO has 5 items with only 2 products which have condition record, I want the PPF to be triggered 2 times for that Outbound Delivery.

    for cancelling GI/GR you may use BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE with GM_Code 06
    for cancelling confirmations you may use BAPI_PRODORDCONF_CANCEL

    I am working with MIGO Transaction,
    My requirement is that while posting the Goods recipt with outbound delivery, If Movement type is not eqaul to 861, display a msg to change movemnet type to 861.
    for this requirement I am using the BADI
    MB_DOCUMENT_BADI - >  MB_DOCUMENT_BEFORE_UPDATE  .
    My Querry is that How can I Identify that the posting is for Goods reciept with outbound delivery.
    thr r three importing parameter for the BADI
    MSEG
    MKPK
    & vm07m.
    I try mkpf-tcode2 field.
    but for both  goods recipt and cancellation , the value of this field is MIGO_GR.
    Please help me regarding identification of the same.

    What setting needs to be done?
    I donot see the GR slip check box in VL02N which normally exists in MIGO
    However, i need to print GR slip for such GRs in VL02N

    I have a field named semester_code in my page and I want end user to enter only alphanumeric values. I want to create item level validation using regular expressions, but I don't know what expression to write for this purpose.

    Go to the validations section of the application builder (for the application you are working on)
    -> add item level validation
    -> select the field that you are trying to validate
    ->item string comparison
    -> select 'Item specified is alphanumeric' from list

    In this there are four methods
    1)ACTIVATE_TAB_PAGE
    2)TRANSFER_DATA_TO_SUBSCREEN
    3)TRANSFER_DATA_FROM_SUBSCREEN
    4)PASS_FCODE_TO_SUBSCREEN
    In thw first method pass the tabname,screen no,position all.
    fcaption = 'C Form Details'.
    fprogram = 'Z_VLO1N_HEAD'.
    fdynpro = '0200'. This is the screen created and kept all custom fields
    Here you the concept set and get data and move and get the values.
    TRANSFER_DATA_TO_SUBSCREEN
    set PARAMETER ID 'Z' FIELD  f_vbrk-ZCF.
    TRANSFER_DATA_FROM_SUBSCREEN
    get PARAMETER ID 'Z' FIELD   fvbrk-ZCF.
    Pass all these parameters it will resolve your issue.Check and post if need help.

    We are using sales BOM and exploding it in Sales Order.  ( Item category of components as TAE )
    I am creating a delivery with reference to  a sales oder ( i have maintained copy controls to copy header and item data). Now when i change BOM header quantity in delivery document system is  not redeterming the components quantity , item quantity of the components does not change.
    Please let me how can i control item qunatity when BOM heade quantity changes in outbound delivery document

    Hello Venkata,
    The components item category is TAE, that means the item category for the header item will be TAQ. Also the pricing will be carried out at the header item level only.
    Now for your query:
    The standard item category controls of TAQ will not have any connection between the header & the item level quantities in the delivery. If you change the quantity of the header item in the sales order, the quantity of the compnenets will be automatically adjusted. But this will not happen in the delivery with the normal settings of TAQ.
    Solution:
    Go to transaction code VOV7 - select TAQ - double click - In the Bill of Material/Configuration section , there is a field "Create Delivery Group" - select "X - Form delivery group with one delivery date".
    Save the settings. Now create a new sales order & then create the delivery & try to change the quantity of the header item, the system will automatically change the quantity of the components. (the system may not change the quantity of the components in the delivery of the old sales order - change it manually)

    I have a outbound delivery created against subcontracting PO for issuing the components, i have stock determination turned ON so during picking against the outbound delivery i am able to pick K stock and own stock too(based on availability) but when i do PGI i get an error message You have not entered a value in field "Owner of stock" although an entry in this field is mandatory. message M7018, please share your thoughts whether is it possible to issue K stock for subcontracting PO if so how it can be achieved

    Consignment Stock is not valuated stock of the system. Issuing a Material from K stock to Subcon means, you need to pay to vendor for the material through MRKO settlement.
    This message is because of the reason for MRKO. System should be updated with " whose stock are you using"
    Please enter the vendor number on that field, depend on which MRKO is done.

    SET PARAMETER ID 'VL' FIELD 'delivery number'.

  • Zero stock available for material while doing outbound delivery

    Hi ,
    System gives error "0 pc of material XXX avaialble" Message no VL150 when we are doing outbound delivery for sales order. But MMBE & MB52 reports shows sales order stock for the same material. This is happening for particular material but the other material which is having same sttings in material masters & sales order & for the same plant is not having problem & OD has been created.
    We are getting this error whiel posting very first outbound delivery for sales order.
    Help to resolve thsi will be appreciated.

    Hi,
    Run MD04 for the XXX material and ensure there is no other open sales order / Stock transfer orders.
    If appearing, delete it,  if its not applicable and try creating out bound delivery..
    Check if any safety stock is maintained for the said materials in the MRP view at the plant level, you might get similar error message, pl check.

    You can check out two table in respect to Sales TEXT i.e. STXH (STXD SAPscript text file header) and STXL(SAPscript text file lines).
    The best approach of tracing out the Text in respect to Sales Order would be to use the Function module READ_TEXT and put this FM in SE37 and execute with the following parameter.
    Client
    Text ID of text to be read
    Language of text to be read
    Name of text to be read
    Object of text to be read
    Archive handle
    Text catalog local
    When you are essentially looking to read item level Text with respect to Sales Order then your Text OBject would be VBBP.

    Batch field can be populated via inbound delivery, when you receive the confirmation from vendor you can create inbound delivey using VL31N that time you can enter the batch or if oyu receive the confirmation via EDI, in this Idoc you can receive the batch from vendor
    eventually this batch number you will see the the PO confirmation tab
    Can we make this field editable
    No, this is dependent on the inbound delivery document

    while creating sale order Tax classification screen is not appearing for item level under Billing document tab.
    Tax classification for customer and Material has already maintained. Tax classification screen is not appearing for USER but same time from our USER ID we can able to see that screen.

    Hi,
    As per standard in Sales Order Document you will be able to see the Tax Classification fields in Billing Tab at Header level (for Customer Tax Classification) and at Item level for (Material tax Classification). The values from Customer M<aster is not populated at Header level as per standard but you can populate the value by using the Exit. Material tax classification populated from material master as you can see that at item level.
    If for one User you are able to see and for other you are not able to see, kindly check first whether both are using same customer and material, and if yes, then check the User Exit.
