Adding querry to work book

hi,
i am having a workbook (wb) which contains q1 now i want to add q2 to the
same (wb) .we can add it [wb]<b>but tell me the procedure to add q2 to the same work book.</b>

Hi
GO to the workbook
In the workbook go the sheet 2...in the lower pane
In the top,in the tools option....chose insert query
Select the query 2 you want to insert
Now query 2 will be inserted.
After this, save this as existing workbook from save option
Now close the workbook and check...reopen..it will have two queries
query 1 in sheet1 and query 2 in next sheet

    Hi Suryam,
    From what i get of ur requirement, I expect there is a column which shows Trial balance. And you are using a workbook, hence the format would be a static format and no drill downs etc. would be done in the report.
    You can create a column and use an Excel formula to achieve the same.
    Gross Amount Column:
    IF Column Cell (of trial balance) >= 0 then value = the Column Cell (of trial balance)
    Depreciation Amount Column:
    IF Column Cell (of trial balance) < 0 then value = the Column Cell (of trial balance)

    I'm trying to get organized and I just added a bunch of books and pdfs to my itunes library. They were all added immediately to my ipad and iphone even though I did not want this. I added them to itunes using add to library and I have both devices set to sync only selected books.
    How do I do this in the future so this doesnt happen? Its a lot of work to now manually erase them from each device and it sent my phone over capacity.

    I dont see the difference in the posts. I dont think theres anything inaccurate or misleading about what I wrote. The items were immediately added to my ipad and my iphone, even though I have them both set to sync only select items. As soon as I added new titles to my itunes library, they were immediately added to the devices. Not on the next sync. Immediately. Both devices were plugged into the computer at the time. Sorry if I failed to mention they were plugged in but I dont see the signifigance youre making out of it. The problem persists anyway.
    Now that I did a test without the devices plugged in, the new items were still added as soon as I plugged my devices into the computer ( I do not have them set to sync over wifi).
    Since I have both devices set to manually select items to sync, of course I want to manually select new items to sync. For instance, I am not going to read any of these magazines or books on my phone, ever, and I dont want to waste valuable space with them.
    So I'm trying your advice:
    I just tried deselecting sync books. It erased all content from ibooks on my device. I then dragged
    one title onto the device, and it just goes back to syncing select books, with the one title selected.
    It appears that wont work to solve my issue. The next time I add something to itunes it will be put on my phone. Is this really something most people want? To select to manualy control what content is synced, but then have things automatically added. It seems inconsistent to me.

  • Automatically adding contacts to Address Book with Mail?

    Hello all,
    This is my first post in the Apple Discussion forum, but I'm a happy Mac owner since July 2007. Here's a question I have; I searched to see if a similar topic appeared in previous discussions, but none turned up.
    In Microsoft Outlook (on my work PC), I can set it up so that anytime I reply to an e-mail address from somebody new, the contact is automatically added to my address book. Is there a way to set that up with Mail and/or Address Book?
    I was going through Address Book and noticed some VERY old contacts, but I know for some of them, I have more recent e-mail address. I hope I don't have to manually add all of them!

    Hi Mark, and a warm welcome to the forums!
    Sadly, I don't know how to do it for received Mail, but ones you've sent to can be done in Mail. Select Window Menu item>Previous Recipients, press Command-A when the new window appears, and then click Add to Address Book, then in Address Book>Card Menu Item, select look for Duplicates.

  • Error After sharing work book

    Hello All,
    I modifed a report by adding 2 news columns from a folder(which is based on table2). I am able to genrate the work book successfully.
    So i shared the same work to another user , but while user is running the report he came across an error
    saying "Invallid Comination of Joins Invloving Outer Joins - table1 -> table2 (outer) ".
    How can this be possible. If there is something wrong in join conditions work book should not work for me.
    It is working fine in my case but its giving error when the shared user is running. Please let me know the reasons for this.

    I think your answer is in Tamir's reply. If disabling fan trap did not resolve your user's issue, then the report needs to be rewritten. Even if it did resolve your user's issue, the report needs to be rewritten.
    It would be difficult for us in this forum to help you to do this.
    However, things to look for: How are your folders constructed? One folder, one table? One folder, many tables as in custom folder or database view? If you are joining folders together in the report where any or all of the folders are constructed with many tables included in them, you run the danger of hitting the fantrap issue - especially, if outer joins abound. Try flowcharting your report and see what that tells you. In Discoverer Plus, choose Sheet \ Show SQL\ copy the sql and place in your favorite sql tool. I suspect the answer to your issue will become obvious then.

  • Mail not adding Sender to Address Book

    When I have a message from someone I want added to my address book, I hit the menu button to Add Sender to Address Book, yet nothing at all happens, and I end up having to enter all the info manually. Any ideas as to why this occurs, or how to get it working?

    The shift, command, Y didn't work, and when I opened the Console app, and tried the menu command, it didn't work, and I didn't see anything showing up on the Console, relative to Mail.
    What I did see on the Console was endless lines like this:
    MacKeeper Helper.app/Contents/MacOS/MacKeeper Helper", ...): No such file or directory

    Do you have any idea why it keeps doing this, despite my not having MacKeeper on my computer? Could there be a hidden file I can't find?  And do you know what "Throttling respawn" means?

  • Work book taking longer time to open

    Hi,
    We created a workbook and embedded one  input ready query in it.  The query when executed separately takes 1 minute to load.  But when the work book is opened for the same selections, it takes 3-5 mins. 
    There is no Macros written in the workbook and no functions are called while loading work book.
    What might be the reason for this.  Is there any way by which we can improve the performance?
    Please suggest.

    Hi there,
    Open BEx Analyzer.
    Click on global settings (before opening the workbook) and mark the option "Repair workbook while running" (option available since BEx Analyzer support package 5 and above)
    Now open the workbook (it will still take the 3-5 minutes).
    Now save the workbook
    Remove the option you have just marked before ("Repair workbook while running").
    Close BEx Analyzer and test it again.

    Has anyone come accross this error "The work book does not exist in the document store" I just changed the description of my Work book in Development and saved. Now it wont open.     Youcan no longer display a workbook. You receive an error message when opening: <Internal error>: 1201 document storage
    Cause and prerequisites
    In very rare cases, when you store a workbook, you might not be able to open it again.
    Solution
    Function module BDS_PHIOS_GET_RIGHT has to be changed so that the last available version of the Workbooks can be displayed.

    Now I do want to let you know that your phone has a "main" gmail account. If this "main" gmail account was the one you deleted it may be best that you reset your phone and activate it to your new gmail address.

    We are on BW 3.5 and EP 6.0, using BEx Application Designer i am abel to create work book which is based on a query, i can create an iview for EP6.0 in BW System.
    But how can i see this work bok in SAP Enterprise Portal.
    there are fre requisites i.e establishing sso between BW and SP, setting JCO connections some 13 steps i did all these.
    how we can see an iView which creted in BW,display it in EP.
    is there any steps?

    Go to Query Global properties in Query designer and you can find a setting to show result rows on top. This setting will show overall result as first row in the report. But I don't think you can show it in Text field in WB.

      Report designer is used in BI 7.It is a seperate application used for formatting
    the report.
