Adding subform when no instance exsists

Hey,
I have a dynamic form which has a repeatable subform with no min. requirment. As a result when I try to use instanceManager to add an instance it does not work becuase there is no president instance. It does not recognize the object because there are 0 instances to refrence. Is there a way to add the first instance.

The instance manager object exists regardless of whether there are any subforms instantiated. You can reference the instance manager by prepending a '_' character to the subform name e.g. for a subform named "MySubform" the following should work
var theInstanceMgr = resolveNode("_MySubform");
theInstanceMgr.addInstance();
The form also needs to be saved as a dynamic pdf rather than a static pdf.

Adding subform instance - paging issue

Hi,
I have a form which includes a subform where one can press a button to add a subform instance.
The subform is located in the middle of the page, with a small subform below it.
When I presss the add button to add the subform, the subform below the added subform goes to a new page. I don't know why its doing this as there is plenty of room below the lower subform before the end of the page.
I recently added data fields to the form. Before I added the data fields, when I would press the add subform button, the subform below would not go to a new page.
Any ideas?

Just a thought but does your form content area extend to the bottom of the page or does it end at the same place the bottom subform ends?

Overflow of subforms when adding them using addInstance

I tried to add subforms dynamically using addInstance but they are overflowing. is there any way i can add these forms such that if the newly added subform wont fit the remaining space, it goes to the next page?

When trying to switch instance from new instance in sm51 to old instance while being logged to an new instance directly this is possible
However when trying to switch instance in sm51 to new instance while being logged to an old instance this is not possible.
What could be the reason?

My first thought is whether the hostname of the new instance is availble to the old Dialog Instances (via the services file or DNS) ?
Failing that, can you answer these questions...
1) if you use SM51 to connect to an old instance from the new instance, can you then use SM51 to connect back to new instance ?
2) When you access the new system from SM51, how does the logon fail ?
invalid user / password ?
Load balancing failure ?
Connectivity failure ?
You'll probably find the answer to your problem if you investigate down these three lines. However, a more arcane cause could be the network topology...
Are the instances on the same IP subnet ?
Are the instances on the same domain or subdomain ?
Check that there's nothing strange going on with the IP subnet mask.

To completely remove an app and all of its data, do this: First delete the app on your phone, then in iTunes, under Library, click on Apps, right-click the app you want to delete & select delete, when prompted, move all files to trash, empty your trash. Connect your phone and sync. The app and all of its data will be gone.

camera raw filter keeps adding sharpening when I open the image although there are no presets and all sharpening sliders set to zero- this doesn't happen with the same set up on my imac- Ps cc 2014 osx 10.9.5- can anyone help me turn this off, I've reloaded and update the Ps cc 2014

Thanks for the reply - the problem isn't with ACR itself but the new Camera Raw filter available in photoshop CC 2014 in the filters selection, this doesn't seem to include the workflow options that you get at the bottom of the normal ACR window- it's a really handy filter for quick final adjustments but on my Macbook keeps adding sharpening even when the sliders are at zero. Is there a workflow option menu for this filter ? Something strange going on somewhere- thanks again for the reply , Tom

There were a number of changes done and earlier I had used the "refresh" button in the DSV view, and the updates were reflected in the DSV. Now, however everything should be updates, yet when I hit refresh, the dialog still comes up and list
all the changes it did earlier as "Added". What is going on here?
Now however, all my tables, dimensions, relations etc are setup with no errors and the cube builds, processes and deploys without any errors, yet if I refresh the DSV, I still get the dialog that displays all the things that it "sees" as "Added".
This is even after closing down BIDS and re-opening.
Also, I wonder if this has something to do this this thread, since its concerning the DSV getting "confused"

According to your description, you need to know why the dialog still comes up and list all the changes it did earlier as "Added" when there is nothing changed in the data source view, right?
I have tested it on my local environment. We use the sample project AdventureWorks, we didn't make any modification on the DSV and click the Refresh button, and all the changes were list on Refresh Data Source View dialog. So as per my understanding, this
is default settings. If we click the button, it will list all the changes from the date when you create this project.

Sending IPM attachments to BPM when the instance is being Invoked

Is it possible to send attched documents in IPM to Oracle business process workspace when the instance is being invoked ? (In 11.1.1.3.0 - PS2). Thanks.

I don't see any error handing in the Main.VI. Are you performing any error handling that might be able to provide information about communications or update failures?

High cpu usage by oracle.exe even when oracle instance is down

I made my oracle instance down , but in Windows Task manager , it is showing 88-90% CPU usage.This only goes off when i write net stop oracleservicemisdb from command prompt.
Help me.

No, i don't have any other software related to oracle running on our server . We have tomcat and Weblogic server running on same machine. But oracle.exe is showing more than 75% cpu usage even when the instance is down.

Problem: Adding subform instances

Hello,
I'm trying to add some instances of a subform.
Therefor I added the Instance Control Button to my form.
I customized it to my form and tested it.
But when I click the Button, nothing happened. After 5 times, a message opened, that I have reached the limit of instances. But no instance is visible.
What could be the problem?
Alternative: Can I programmatically change the minimum count of repeats of the subform? It's possible that I could calculate, how much lines I need. So that is the second chance.

I solved my problem.
The reason that instances that were added did not show is because there were positioned subforms below where I was adding instances and they covered up new instances because they did not move.
I solved the problem by re-organizing the form.
1. All objects were put in a positioned sub-form. Some of them were in a subform by themselves.
2. Each positioned subform was wrapped in a flowed subform with flow direction Western Text. The flow direction probably doesn't matter here because the flowed subform has only one object in it.
3. The page-level subform was made flowed, direction western text.
4. The form must be saved as a dynamic form.
When I added instances, everything moved down correctly.
You can probably not wrap everything in positioned subforms first, but you have to account for LiveCycle left-justifying everything in flowed subforms by putting blank text boxes to act as spacers to keep fields in place.

CloudControl 12c: when adding cluster-database single instances are missing

I'e have installed the agent 12c on every single host of our RAC. When adding a database to CloudControl 12c just the RAC-instance gets discovered - but not the single database instances on each host.
Due to this when clicking targets -> databases I just see the cluster-database - but not every single instance of the database.
Compared to another RAC database this is totally different behaviour.
Any help will be appreciated

maybe I should try to explain the issue a little bit clearer...
We have one RAC database called PROD02. When clicking "targets -> databases" I see the following:
PROD02 of type Cluster Database
PROD021 of type Database Instance
PROD022 of type Database Instance
That's the way it shoudl be - that's the way I expected it...
For the newly cofgured RAC database, called PREP02, it looks different when clicking "targets -> databases"
PREP02 of type Cluster Database
The single instances don't show up. Of course I see the single instances when clicking on "PREP02" under the item "Instances".
Now I wonder why these two RAC databases are differently displayed when clicking "targets -> databases". When trying to add the single instances (clicking "Add" under "targets -> databases") and selecting then either "only on the host <hostname>" or "on all hosts in the cluster" no single instances are found or displayed...
