How can I add a title to my spreadsheet?
How can I add lines in the spreadsheet to distinguish some of the cells and rows? A partial line would be sufficient, either a ..... or a - - - - .

How can I add a title to my spreadsheet?
You can display the name of any table by selecting the table, then checking the Name box in the Table Inspector. Table names are edited in the Sheets list. Double click the name beside the Table's icon to place the insertion point in the box, then edit as you would a file name.
(Page) Headers can be used to display Sheet titles. Headers (and footers) are visible only in Print View (View menu > Show Print view), where they appear at the top of each page. Text is usually centered, but I've used Left alignment here to compact the image. Headers are independent for each Sheet. The light grey lines in the image are the page layout markers (View > Show Layout), and are generally hidden. 
For a title that is to appear when Print view is hidden, and is to appear only once, use a Text box.

You can use Borders on individual cells, a group of cells or a full row or column.
You can use fill colour in individual cells, a group of cells or a full row or column.
You can set the contents to bold, italic or underline or change the text colour to highlight cells or rows.
All of these are set using controls in the format bar or in the Inspector. Details on much of this can be found in Chapter 5, Working with Table Styles of the Numbers '09 User Guide. Numbers vocabulary, which will help in clarifying your future questions, may be found in Chapter 1. The guide may be downloaded via the Help menu in Numbers.

    I am relatively new to Flex and I have run into a slight
    problem that I that I think is because of lack of experience. I
    have a panel and I have set the title attribute but now I am
    required to add buttons to the right of the title. I am not sure
    what the best way to do this is or even if it is viable. I have
    read in other places throughout the internet that it is possible to
    add buttons to the title of an object, but I do not know how to do
    to proceed. I have thought about it and I think making an HBox and
    adding a label for the title and then the required buttons might
    work, but when it compiles it leaves a blank space above my new
    HBox that just does not look good. Is there someway to override the
    title of the panel or set its height to 0, or better yet some way
    to add buttons to the title line of the panel? Any help would be
    appreciated.

  • Keep Quote line item numbers in Sales order

    While creating a Sales order from Quote, SAP always creates line items with 100,200,300...and so on.
    If quote has 3 line items say 100,110, & 120 and we create a sales order with reference to this quote in VA01. The sales order line items become 100,200 & 300.
    The requirement is for Sales order to also have same line item numbers i.e. 100,110 & 120.
    To retain quote line item numbers in Sales order the ABAP change will be in VOFM or user exit?

    It is not a straight forward thing. Adding data to table XVBAP won't work. It will create inconsistency. There are so many other tables involve here too, like, VBPA, VBUP, VBKD, KONV. There can be other tables too based on how your sales order is configured.
    Also, modifying these tables (XTAB, YTAB ) in this user-exit may cause database inconsistency.

  • Adding a line to a family plan online - selecting a phone number

    I am on a family plan.
    I understand that if I change the number for an existing line, I can only select from numbers in the same area.
    However, if I add a new line to the account, will I be able to select an area code from a different part of the state?

    Yes - we added a line for my Mom to our family plan, and she lives across the country. We were able to get her a "local" number for her area in NY state, while all the rest of our #'s are local to us in California.

  • Why do added titles distort my video?

    This is my first time using any kind of editing software. No problems importing the video. When I add titles to the clips, any object with a straight line becomes distorted in the video. Is there an explanation for this or do I just have to get used to it?

    Which iMovie version are you using?
    In iMovie HD 5.0.1 added titles distorted interlacing lines in the underlying video.
    But this was fixed in in later versions for NTSC and QT 7 fixed this also for PAL.

  • In Photoshop Elements12 (with Windows 8.1) added titles to my pictures do not appear in Windows. Formerly, in PSE 6 (with Windows Vista) added tiltles also appeared in Windows.

    Formerly using Photoshop Elements 6 with Windows Vista I could add (or change) titles to my pictures in the Organizer and find the same titles afterwards also in Windows. Nowadays using Photoshop Elements 12 with Windows 8.1 and adding titles to my pictures in the Organizer I do not find these titles in Windows any more. That makes me sad because I want to have the titles in Windows but adding the titles is much more comfortable in Photoshop Elements than in Windows. Please tell me: Is there a help for me?

    I have a Dell U3014 as well as a couple of older Dells turned up sideways as "ears".
    Other than supplying the desktop "theme" (if you can call a complete lack of style along with a fair bit of inconsistency a "theme"), the OS really shouldn't be causing you to have a washed-out desktop experience.  That's more a
    matter of your display driver not really doing its job.  What video card do you have?
    FYI, one of the reasons I like Aero Glass for Win 8.1 (a 3rd party package) is that it allows me to make the desktop more pleasant to use and helps set the client areas (i.e., where work gets done) apart from the window chrome.
    From what I can see, the color-management logic in Windows 8.1 is essentially unchanged from what it was in Windows 7.  That there has been NO progress in this area is really a disappointment.  It's an area where Microsoft has again just stopped
    trying to make improvements.
    If it's at all interesting to you, here's a screen grab of a REALLY cluttered up desktop.  I don't normally work this way; this was an exercise to see how much I could get running.  I finally gave up starting more stuff as I grew tired
    and it just kept working fine...

  • Adding new line item in SC after it is added to PR or PO

    Hi Experts,
    Our customer wants that if line item is added to PR and PO on ECC side, it should be added to SC as well. I am sure you can't change apporved SC for which follow on document is created. But if someone did similar kind of requirement.
    Here is requirement.
    >  SC has 2 line items.
    >  PR is created in ECC for 2 line items after SC is apporved.
    > User added 3rd line item in PR on ECC side.
    > Customer wants this line item should be added to SC as well.

    In Classic Scenario: This is not possible .when you are adding a P.O in ECC it will not reflect in
    SRM.
    In Extended Classic scenario: In SRM  only P.O is  created .You can add a new line items (or) change
    because P.O in SRM Server is the main P.O.
    Moreover in this also Shopping cart will not update. Once Shopping cart is approved you can do any changes
    Please check which scenario your client is using.

    Team... I cannot find where to turn on the line item numbers in P6 Reports... I can show breaks on a code then activities right below that, but can't show the line item number... only the actID... Hellllllllp!

    Thanks for the reply.
    The interesting part is, it is a standard message and there is no message class ZKV available in the system.  We have gone live only six months back and not done a single enhancement in HR module till now.
    As far as FICO is concerned, we have an internal control that we will not enhance any of the FI transactions in view of data accuracy and integrity.  We don't have enhancements running in FI & CO modules also.
    I am sure that it is a standard message.  This message is arising out of the function module 'AC_DOCUMENT_CREATE' called internally in the program associated with posting run transaction.
    Please hint, what could be the problem.

    I don't want to go and modify each and every table

    You'll have to write a script that reads out the current contents of your triggers, add your line to this contents and dynamically "create or replace" the new trigger text.
    Beware, trigger_body column of user/all/dba_triggers is in a column with datatype LONG, so you'll have to use some sort of conversion.
