Additional field selections in FB03

Hi,
A very good morning to all.
When I display the document list from T code FB03 I wish that I can have a few more fields like cost centre & business area in the Dynamic selection Tab.
Is that possible ?
if yes please suggest the way to do it.

Requirement: The business requires the Doc. Header Text be added in the dynamic selection in FB03
Solution:
Execute Transaction code SE36. Click F4. Enter the table name wherein you think the field could be found. In this case the table is BKPF and the logical database is BRF
From the initial screen of SE36, Choose from the path EXTRAS>> Selection Views
Copy Selection View "SAP" to "CUS"
Change the selection views "CUS"
In the right corner, double click your table BKPF.
In the right corner, check whether what functional groups does your field belong. If it is 01 then input it beside your field name.
Then Save it afterwards.

<i>Since you want business area field, find it in bseg instead in bkpf.</i>

    You need to find additonal field details from functional consultant & ABAP'er.
    After that you need to create Z message type with that additional field/segment and further assign it to IDOC.The process is as follows :
    1)Create Message Type
    Go to transaction code WE81
    Change the details from Display mode to Change mode
    After selection, the system will give this message u201CThe table is cross-client (see Help for further info)u201D. Press Enter
    Click New Entries to create new Message Type
    Fill details
    Save it and go back
    2)Assign Message Type to IDoc Type
    Go to transaction code WE82
    Change the details from Display mode to Change mode
    After selection, the system will give this message u201CThe table is cross-client (see Help for further info)u201D. Press Enter.

  • Additional field in selection screen of a abap query

    Hi,
    I am adding a new additional field in the selection screen through abap query(using transaction SQ02) which is of type VBRK-FKSTO.
    The value entered can be 'X' or empty space.But the value which is entered in the selection screen is not getting reflected in the code.Kindly advice me on what needs to be done to capture the selection screen value in the code.

    You can add new field in VFX3 selection screen as follow. In the report code we can see various explicit enahcement points provided by SAP.One of them is ENHANCEMENT-POINT sdblbddl_01 SPOTS es_sdblbddl STATIC. Here you can declare your selection screen parameters.  Then in the processing i can see a call customer fucntion happening in VBSK_DISPALY which you can implement to add your logic.

  • Adding additional field 1 to selection screen of CATSSHOW (CADO)

    Hello all,
      We recently added one of the additional field's to show up on the data entry section when using
    transaction CAT2...This is working fine and the data is entered into CATSDB.
      When using CADO, one can display the addtional field 1 and sort by this field.
      However, the users now want this additional field1 to be one of the selections when they
    use report CATSSHOW (CADO).
      Is there some type of way to configure SAP to have one of these additional fields show up
    as a selection field on program CATSSHOW (CADO)? My searches in this forum and the web
    have not shown me a solution yet.
      Or do I have to create a 'Z' version of CATSSHOW like ZCATSSHOW and do this myself?

  • Additional text field in Infoset deleted but not reflected in field selection in Query

    Hi,
    I have deleted an additional text field in infoset. It was used in one query.
    Even in the query it is deleted, but when in field selection screen i am not able to delete.
    If i try to execute the query, I get dump (syntax error) saying in field type(additional field) doesnot exist.
    Can anyone pleassseee help me in this.

  • Additional field added in Infoset unable to use as a selectable field

    I added 2 fields as additional fields to the Organizational Assignment infotype in a PNP Infoset that I created via SQ02.  When I select the infoset to build a query via adhoc query the fields are listed in the Org Assignment infotype and available for output but are not available as a selection field.  There is no check box under the Selection column, only a checkbox under the output column.
    How do I make the added additional fields available as a section field as well as an output field.

    Solution:  in ad hoc query select Extras > Switch off object selection

  • Selection Profile Additional Fields required

    I have an SNP planning book to view my resource capacities in, the selection profile is at "APO Resource" level. In the selected objects view it shows the resource and location codes only and no descriptions are available. I believe that this is working off the aggregate 9ARE and I do not have the aggregate 9ALORE available to me as this is a standard SNP planning object structure 9ASNPSA (so I can't add this aggregate level).
    My question is, is it possible (via user exit or BADI) to add additional fields for display in this selection window. My user would like to see the location description rather than the code.

    To display the "Alternative Account Number" field in report of the new General Ledger, please proceed as follows:
    1) Implement Note 895609 and 939649.
    2) To display "Alternative Account Number" in the line layout variant, proceed as follows:
    - Call transaction O7R3 and add BSEG-LOKKT as special field.
    - Then change the line layout variant. The system now displays the "Alternative Account Number" field.
    3) In the line item display in the classic General Ledger (transaction FBL3N), you could enhance the custom selections in transaction SE36 as described in Note 310886. However, in the new General Ledger, the custom selection in transaction FAGLL03 has different sub-areas. Each of these areas corresponds to a structure:
    G/L account master record SKA1_FS
    G/L account company code SKB1_FS
    G/L account line item BSIS_FS
    Since the "Alternative Account Number" is not included in the structure SKB1_FS in the standard delivery, please implement the enhancement as described in Note 945932.  To include more fields in the custom selections of transaction FAGLL03, you can enhance the structures using an APPEND.

  • How To Add Additional Fields When Creating New Contact From w/in Mac Mail?

    Hi there. When in Mac Mail and clicking on contact information provided within an email, we are able to either (1) CREATE NEW CONTACT or (2) ADD TO EXISTING CONTACT (by clicking on the arrow next to a phone number, address, etc.). If I choose "Create New Contact," how can I add additional fields BEFORE clicking on "Add to Address Book" button in lower right corner? Let's say, for example, I know this new contacts URL or company. (Currently, I am creating the new contact from within Mac Mail and then going to Address Book and finding the contact, then editing, the adding the additional fields, then saving, and then going back to Mac Mail. This all takes time.)
    Note: When creating a new iCal event from within Mac Mail, we can click on Option/Alt key when selecting drop-down arrow...and this will allow us to add additional information. The same feature isn't available for address book???

    I have the exact same question and problem. If there was a way to automatically open the AB entry after "creating new contact" this would solve it.

    I think you need to show more programs.
    you said, the report program is 'RHXPE_EXPIRED_QUALI', but you upload  'rhpk_find_pers_with_expired_qu' program.
    usually, ALV field is modifyed in 'PERFORM fieldcatalog_modify', if you use Functional ALV.
    Try to search 'fieldcatalog function', you will find easy.

  • Creation of additional fields in Infoset SQ02

    Hi Experts,
    I'm a FICO consultant trying to create a query.
    Requirement : Link RSEG Table to BKPF Table in the join condition
    Link: RSEG-BELNR concatenated with RSEG-GJAHR = BKPF-XBLNR
    Now I'm trying to create an additional field in SQ02 named MiroYear and in the field code part i gave the below piece of code
    "CONCATENATE RSEG-BELNR RSEG-GJAHR INTO MIROYEAR."
    It shows no syntax errors. I added the same to the field group as well.
    Issue: The additional field (MIROYEAR) is not appearing in the join condition in SQ02.
    Is this the right way to create an additonal field? Have i made any mistake? Or any of you have any better ideas to join RSEG and BKPF in SQ02?

    Table RESG and BKPF are linked BKPF-AWKEY.
    Now first of all if you create an additional field, that field will not appear in the join.
    One way will be to create an infoset with direct read to table RSEG, and then inside add additional fields for each BKPF field.
    Then in the code
    CONCATENATE RSEG-BELNR RSEG-GJAHR into MIROYEAR
    select single ....
    into (ADDFIELD1, ADDFIELD2, ADDFIELD3,.....)
    from BKPF
    where awkey = miroyear.

  • SAP Query - Additional field that collects information from table RESB

    Hello gurus. I have a question.
    I want to create a SAP Query that shows me the stock level of a list of materials, and also show me the total quantity of order reservations in an additional field.
    I created an InfoSet with table MARD, which is the one that holds the Stock information in a plant. Then I created an additional field which would read information from table RESB, the table that holds order reservations per material.
    So I wrote this piece of code:
    SELECT * FROM RESB
    WHERE MATNR EQ MARD-MATNR and
           WERKS EQ MARD-WERKS.
    ENDSELECT.
    if ( sy-dbcnt NE '0').
          MOVE RESB-BDMNG to ZQTY.

    This works fine. However, this is currently just catching the first record in table RESB that matches my condition.
    What I would like is to collect every instance of RESB-BDMNG and add them to field "ZQTY", have it loop in RESB until it finishes finding every record that match the MATNR and WERKS. With this I could get the total number of order reservations that this material has in that table.
    Could someone share some coding that would help me achieve this?

    While I'm at it, let me ask you a related question.
    When I execute the query, in the first records of the query where there's no value from RESB to transfer, the value of field ZQTY appears empty. Once it finds the first record in RESB and it populates ZQTY with a value, then the rest of the records with no hit get the proper value of 0.
    Do you know why the first records in the query appear empty and not with a 0? Is there anything I should add to the coding to fix this?

    How can i bring customer field in cProjects 4.0.
    My users want four extras field which is not available in cProjects.
    We have done following things
    1.                   As per SAP  Note : 947936 in PLM server
    2                  Go to SPRO->SAP Customizing Implementation Guide -> Collaboration Projects -> Collaboration Projects -> Define Field Groups for customer fields
    3.                   Object Type: DPO (Project Definition)
    4.                   Field Group ID: (ID) eg ZTAB_DPO
    5                   Field Group Name: This will appear as the text on the TAB & make sure active check box is checked.
    6                  Select the entry made above and double click on u201CCustomer Fields for Field Groupu201D.
    7               Customer Field will be the additional fields that you have added in the customer include in the table DPR_TS_PROJECT_EXTENDED_ATTR / dpr_projects
    8              Select Mode and Field Type & make sure active check box is checked.
    9               Double click on the folder u201CField Group as per Project Typeu201D & click on new entries.
    10               Select the project Type for which you want the tab to be displayed
    Object Type: DPO (Project definition)
    Field Group ID (ZTAB_DPO) & make sure active check box is checked.

    Hi Ravindra,
    there is one more step that needs to be done in the customizing:
    You have to set up a field control for your customer fields (IMG activity 'Set Up Field Control'). Here you define the conditions when these fields are displayed, hidden etc...
    If you have no field control, these fields will be always hidden.
    Please do not change the standard field control 0SAP but rather copy it to your own and adapt it according to your needs. Please refer also to the available IMG documentation.
    Afterwards, this field control needs to be assigned to your project type (IMG 'Define Project Types').
