Additional fields in Bank Account configuration (FI12)

Hi,
Is there a customizing option to update table TFIBLSCREEN ?. We want to set visible the field "Reference Data" in the Bank Account View in the customizing FI12 (V_T012K-REFZL in program SAPLFHBANKC ).
Thanks in advance.
Andrés.

Andrés,
The view V_T012K has the field REFZL. But SAP had modified the generated View Maintenance dialog for the view V_T012K to have only the four fields visible - House Bank, ID, Bank Acct and Text.
Your requirement does not seem to be possible without a code modification. You will need to modify the Function Group FHBANKC (Object R3TR FUGR FHBANKC). Alternately, you may request SAP via OSS to add this field in the maintenance dialog for the view V_T012K.
Hope this helps,
Bhanu

  • Can we make as P.center as required field for Bank accounts

    hi friends,
can we make as profit center as required field for bank accounts in field status group.
If we make as required, what are the impact /consequences will happen. We are drawing Financial statements at profit center level.
We are using ECC 6.0 with document splitting.
    Regards,
    Suresh

    Hi,
If you have document splitting active, where profit center is mandatory, do not make profit center mandatory at the field status group level as this will not allow the documents to split where there are more than one profit center in a document.
The bank line item gets automatically split in the ratio of liability or Assets line items profit center. And if you make Profit center mandatory in Bank line item then this splitting will not take place. Moreover you will not be able to post any document having more than one profit center.
You can test this out all by yourself in a test system. Post an Invoice(FB60) as foolows:-
    Expense -Dr.(P.C.-A)- 100
    Expense -Dr.(P.C.-B)-200
       To vendor - 300
This entry will show in general ledger view as :-
    Expense -Dr.(P.C.-A) - 100
    Expense -Dr.(P.C.-B) - 200
       To vendor .(P.C.-A) - 100
       To vendor .(P.C.-B) - 100
Now go to F-53 and post payment:-
Enter Bank Account no., amount, and also enter profit center on the first screen as u hv made P.C. mandatory, and select the above document no. and try posting it. You will get error in this case.
Do let me know if it is of any help to you.

  • Include Additional Fields in SAP standard Configurations

    Hi,
I would like to know how to include some additonal fields in OPUK/OPUJ.  We have defined some .INCLUDE component / fields to SAP standard table PRPS/PROJ.  We want those fields to also appear in OPUK/OPUJ so that we could also defined their characteristics - whether input, mandatory, suppressed, etc.
    Thanks!

  • Bank Account field in Vendor Master Data

    Hi Guys,
Anyone of you might have faced this kind of problem.
The field for bank account in vendor bank details provides only 18 digits.
We have a couple of Polish and Russian vendors which have 20 digits in the bank account and because SAP cuts off the first 2 digits payments cannot be made.
Will it be possible to extend the number of digits in the bank account field? If yes,
can anyone let me know how it can me done.
    Thanks
    JR

The situations where REGUH-ZBNKN (bank account number) is longer than 18 digits. in this case the bank account number continues on field REGUH-BKREF (reference).
You have to implement OSS#96624 to solve this problem
    Regards.
(Finding more detail in OSS Note)
    Symptom
This note refers to business partner bank account numbers with more than 18 digits.
Banks of certain countries use bank account numbers with more than 18 digits. Consequently, these bank account numbers cannot be stored completely in the bank account number field of the R/3 System, but are to be used for the payment transactions with the bank in the data medium exchange (DME).
    Solution
Depending on the country of the bank of the business partner, we recommend that you enter that part of the account number which does not fit into the respective 'Bank account number' input field in the 'Reference specifications for bank details' field or in the 'Bank control key' field of the customer or vendor master data.
We recommend that you use the fields in the R/3 System as follows:
China- Various account number formats, some have more than 18 digits
    - Save the first 18 digits in the 'Bank account number' field
    - If the Chinese bank account number is longer than 18 digits, the
remaining digits are saved in the 'Reference specifications for bank
    details' field.

  • Leading Zeros in bank Account for EBS

    Hi,
We configured the bank account number with two leading zeros in the house bank.  Say for example i defined the bank account number as 0012345 Under house bank HSBC.
When I receive the bank statement, the bank account number is coming with 12 digits i.e. will all leading zeros. say for example 000000012345.
When i am loading the bank statement using the transaction FF_5, the system is giving the error Table "T012K does not have an entry with bank account number 12345".  The client is saying the length of account number is 7 digits and should be maintained as 0012345. However the EBS is not working with the leading zeros. How can we fix this issue?
    Regards
    Kotesh Padarti

    Hello!
You can try to configure alternatice bank account in FI12. This is used in situations when the presentation of bank account in bank statement differs from that configured in main bank account field e.g. your house bank might provide you with the following layouts 000000012345 or 0012345USD etc. Therefore this functionality enables the system to recognize the bank account.
    Hope this will help you!
    Best Regards!

  • New Bank Account- config for Manual Bank Statement

    Hi,
Currently we are using Manual Bank Statement (FF67),and client   have opened a new bank account and new GLs have been created, I need to configure for this new bank account, kindly let me know where to maintain the GL accounts for Incoming and Outgoing, whereas   in new Bank account creation (FI12) we maintain the GL account for the Main account.
    Thanks,
    Suresh

    Hi Suresh,
You can maintain as many accounts under a house bank as you want. You just have to maintain them with different account ID.
Go to T-Code FBZP -> Click on House Banks -> Select your house bank under which you want to create a new account. -> Double click on Bank Account on the left pane -> You will see list of accounts maintained under the bank -> Click on New Entries to create a new account under the existing house bank. -> Mention a different account ID (different from existing ones) for your new account and also mention other details like Bank account number, GL Account, Currency etc. -> Save it.
Press Back button and you will see the new account ID added to the list -> Now go to Bank determination option on the initial screen and configure to use the new account as per your requirement.
    Hope this helps.

  • Business Area is not getting updated in "Main Bank Account" Line item (FF_5

    Hi Gurus,
I am executing T Code: FF_5 for uploading the "Multi-Cash" Format. This transaction clears the Bank Clearing Account and post the entry to the credit of "Bank Main Account".
Now while i had executed F110, the Business area was properly captured in the Bank Clearing Account Line item. But while executing FF_5, the Business Area is not getting captured against the "Main Bank Account" Line item.
Can you please tell me how to capture the Business Area against the "Main Bank Account" Line item.
    Rgds,
    Prasad.

    Hi,
    1. In case of Business where payments are made centrally it is important to report
        Bank A/c Business area wise.
    2. However I have solved the problem by doing "Sustitution", and its working fine. The Business Area is getting updated against the Main Bank Account Line item.
    3. I am however getting one error while doing the upload in FF_5. The error occurs
only if Business Area is a "required" field in Bank Account's "Field Status
       Group".
Error: (00 298) Formatting error in the field COBL-GSBER ; see next message.
But if I make Business Area as an Optional Field I am not getting an error and
also the posting is done to Main Bank Account.
Is there anyother method by which this error can be corrected.
I have assigned 2 points for your inputs. Can you help me to solve this error as well.
    Rgds

  • Adding new field in SC Account Assignment Screen (only for information)

    Hi guys,
we have a requirement, to <b>show</b> additional fields within the account assignment screen. The contents should only be displayed as information for the user. It is not necessary, respectively not wanted to save this data within SRM or the Backend-System.
    2 questions:
    a) Is it necessary to expand the item-structure of the SC (INCL_EEW_PD_ITEM_CSF_SC) AND to expand the accounting structure (INCL_EEW_PD_ACC_CSF) for this fields?
    b) Is it sufficient, that the INCL_EEW*-structures of the PO-/billing-document etc. are <b>NOT</b> expanded with the additional fields to avoid the saving? In OSS-Note 458591 it is mentioned, that it is necessary to expand the CI-COBL-structure within the Backend-System.
Thanks in advance with best regards.
    Bernd
ps. We are using SRM 4.0.

    Hi
<b>We have done this several times, in our past previous SRM implemenatations.</b>
    a) Yes. You need to expand the item structure at the Shopping cart level to display your Custom fields in the We bapage. As Per OSS Note - 672960, you can see the details. For display purpose, at least these custom fields must be created in the standard include structures [e.g., INCL_EEW_PD_ACC_CSF, etc ].
    b) Yes, no need to expand any other SAP Include structure, incase you don't want the field contents to be saved in backend system (incase of Purchase Order / Purchase Req).
<u>Please see the follwoing links, which deal with the similar requirements, you have asked for in detail with code and other relevant details -></u>

  • How to populate Assignment field in gl account

    Hello SAP Guru,
    I am doing EBS BRS.
In Tcode FF68 to generate pay in slip. In this Tcode I am putting 009 in group field.
When I am posting the check then bank clearing account in refrence no. this group field 009 appears. But I want it to be in Assignment field of bank clearing account.I want to use it for auto clearing. by matching Assignment field from bank statment and assignment field from bank account  i.e clearing accuont.
    Thanks
    Raj

    Hi Rajeev,
Assign the correct sort key to the GL Account in the master data so that it populates the data to ASSIGNMENT (ZUONR) field.
Do let me know if it works.
If there is no sort code defined assigns a value to assignment field then create a new one -- in the Implementation Guide (IMG) under Determine Standard Sorting for Line Items.

  • F110 & actual balance in bank account

    Hi All,
When we do payment run, system automatically take house bank & bank account configured in FBZP based on payment method given in F110.
But if anyhow amount does not actaully exist in that bank account, payment will not go to vendor.
So how it is practially checked the amount availability & which bank account to be used for payment.
    Please suggest.
    Regards
    Deepak

    Hi Deepak,
The house bank is determined as a combination of company code and payment method entered in the parameters of F110 payment run.
In FBZP, we maintain the available amount for each bank account. There is no way to determine the actual amount physically available in the bank account.
The only check that will take place within SAP is that the payment being made meets the Available amount requirement set in FBZP.
    Hope this helps

  • Number of Bank Accounts

    Hi gurus,
How many bank accounts can be stocked in a vendor master data and a customer master data ?
    Thanks !

    Hi Vivek,
The basic funda in Bank accounting configuration is
0 G/L Account Number - Main Bank Account Number
    1 G/L Account Number - Check Payment
    2 G/L Account Number - Check Receipt
3 G/L Account Number - Wire Transfer Out
4 G/L Account Number - Wire Transfer In
    5 G/L Account Number  - Bank Charges
All these configurations are dependent on client's requirement . How many G/L accounts they want to have in operation.
House Bank will be one. but the Bank Key, SWIFT Code are different for each branch ( under this you may have number of bank accounts)
don't worry about creation of Bank accounts(the maximum number). we have to look in to the perspective of How each branch is operating bank accounts, what are the operations they do in each bank account, how they will do reconciliation, etc..
    with regards
    Siva

  • Additional field in FI12 (Bank Accounts)

    Hi folks,
I am editing bank details and entering the "Bank Accounts" I have a pseudo account (consider it a text field for simplicity) that I need to enter in this screen. Each bank account has a corresponding pseudo account.
I remember that there is a way to add a custom text field on the Bank Account entry screen (FI12) where we can enter any text. Does anyone recall what field it is and how it can be added?
    Any help is appreciated.
    Thanks.
PS: I think its called Reference field
Edited by: kashif jawed on Nov 6, 2009 6:19 PM

    Hi,
I looked into it but it is for each house bank, I am looking for a field for each account. There could be multiple accounts under each house bank. Another option I am considering is using "Short Info" field while maintaining the cheque lot for that particular bank account under FCHI

  • FI12 Bank Account Reference Info field doesn't show for all house banks

We are storing some information in the Reference info. field (T012K REFZL) for bank accounts. We have several house banks defined and this field is available for edit for the accounts for those house banks. We are setting up a new house bank, but the reference field does not show up so we cannot edit its value.
I cannot find any config that allows me to define conditions that would affect the availability of that field. The only difference I can see between the new house bank, is it has a different country than the existing house banks. Existing house banks are in FR and PL, new house bank is in NL.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Ellen

I received one other option from outside this forum that also solves the issue.
Based on OSS Note 1009154 the below record has to be inserted into the u201CV_TFIBLSCREENu201D data view by using SM30:
    SAPLFHBANKC, 3, 002, NL, 3.
