Additional Screen field in VA41 or VA01

Hi All,
I need to add a field in the initial screen of the transaction VA41 or VA01 . Is there any BADI or screen exit available to achieve this functionality.

Creating additional screen field in Vendor Master at Company Code Level

Hi All,
I have to add some custom fields in Vendor master at Company Code Level.I have alraedy implemented a BAPI suggested by the system to add additional fields.
A new Button is coming after implementing the BAPI , which gives me a space to add new custom fields , which i have appended at LFA1.
My problem is that , the new Button is visible at each screen, i.e Button is coming at Address tab, Control tab, all screen correspond to company code and all tab correspond to purchasing.
While i want that Button should only be visible at screens correspond to company code.
Please suggest how to acheive the same.

I only want my custom button to appear if they've input a Company code on the selection screen. Did you find a way to solve this problem?

We can add fields , Hide fields add onther Tab by using SPRO configuration.

the fields are in a new separate tab will be added into a addition tab.

ESS portal: Hide additional info field in release working time screen

Hi,
I need to know how can i hide 'additional info' field in the release working time screen?
I know i would use personalization but don't know the way to do that.

it will be shown in header only in release application, let me explain
In the time recording application, when you enter a record and click
on review, the additional info columns shows the text. This works
because the data is entered by the user and the entered record is
mapped to additional info column.
In time release application, all the records from database are retrieved
and displayed. The user does not enter any data. Hence in this case it
is not possible to map the records to text in the additional info
column. The Error/Warning messages are displayed in the top of the list
with detailed information. We feel the information displayed is
sufficient for the user to take necessary action. Usually in the release
application, there would be lots of records. Displaying text in both
additional info column and also at the top of the list is not a feasible
solution.
Technically it would be difficult for us to change this behavior in the
standard application.
we have new application in EHP5.

Change screen field network and upload additional wbs network activity

Dear All,
1st. How can i change the screen field company code in network header (assignment tab) to input or required. I tried OPUA but it doesnt show company code. In default it shows that network header (company code) in display mode.
2nd. How can i add additional WBS,network and activity using additional enhancement for easy use method. Or in other word, is there any enhancement program..not cj20n / cj20?

The company code for network order is coming from thw WBS element, that you cannot change in network order. This is standard setting.

Insert customized input field in BP Organization addition screen(BUP110)

Hi experts,
Inside bp transaction when ever I am trying to add Organization, inside Name section(BUP010) one customized input field I want to add. What are all the procedure I need to follow in BUPT transaction to add new input fiels in the name section? How to map field group, view, section and screen? How to display that field on the name section of that Organization addition screen?

But in this link while you are at the 11th step
select your required view.
and do the rest as usual.
This is at the configuration level u can add your customer fields.
I dont think there are any exits available that can fulfill your requirement as the same requirement is fulfilled at the customization level.

I am trying to add search help to the standard screen field inco2 in transaction va02. for this I am trying to add inplicit enhancement point in include MV45AFZZ.
I right click over the yellow line and create enhancement implementation in local object. the moment I choose my enhancemetn implementation and press enter, it gives me dump, Please nebody tell me where am I going worng, or Is my approach correct.....Please suggest.......

Hi,
You can do this by implementing one screen exit and couple of usr-exit. For all of the exits given describing below you will need access key.
1. Field you want in VA01 line item, add them to table VBAP using append strucutre.
2. You can not show additional fields to the in VA01 where all the lines are display, instead you add the fields on "Additional data B" tab at line item level. To see the Additional data B screen, you can either double-click any line item and go to the very last tab OR use the menu path "Goto -> Item -> More functions -> Addition data B"
The screen for "Additional data B" is SAPMV45A 8459. Use transaction SE51 to implement this screen. Add these fields as a dictionary fields ( with reference to VBAP custom fields you have defined ).
3. To implement PBO logic of this screen, you will have to use include MV45AOZZ. This will require access key.
4. To implement PBI logic of this screen, you will have to use include MV45AIZZ. This will also require access key.

Regarding Selection-Screen Field Display

Hi All,
I have issues with Selection-Screen field display.
The Actual issue is i had declared a selection screen field as: s_exgen FOR embk-exgen.
EMBK-EXGEN is actually 20 Char length field.
But in output display it is being shown as 18 Char field though i can type in all 20 characters.
But display restricted to 18 Characters only.
Can anybody give me the solution for the same!

You can decrease the visible length of the field but you can not increase more than database field length. check SAP help on this :
select-options: s_exgen FOR embk-exgen VISIBLE LENGTH 5.
... VISIBLE LENGTH vlen

This addition allows you to shorten the visible length of the corresponding screen field on the selection screen to vlen.

In this variant, (f) must be a field containing the name of the actual reference field at runtime. The system creates the LOW and HIGH fields as character fields with length 45. However, their appearance on the selection screen is inherited from the reference field whose name is contained in field f at runtime.

F4 help for screen field

Hello gurus,
I have created a custom tab in transaction VF01/VF02 and VF03. In this tab i have added a field on this screen which is supposed to provide F4 help values that are fetched from a Ztable that has been maintained.
Although the field addition has worked fine but i cant get the F4 help. Any idea how i can achieve this?

No, I won't explain it in detail - you need to read the documentation and at least make an attempt at the process on your own first. The documentation is right there in the IMG where I said it was but here's the path since you can't find it:

Hi Harsh,
Please use the Enhancment framework.
Use the Implicit or the Explicit Enhancement Options and then add the Additional Field on the screen.
you can then use the Source code plug-ins to modify the code.

Additional text field in Infoset deleted but not reflected in field selection in Query

Hi,
I have deleted an additional text field in infoset. It was used in one query.
Even in the query it is deleted, but when in field selection screen i am not able to delete.
If i try to execute the query, I get dump (syntax error) saying in field type(additional field) doesnot exist.
Can anyone pleassseee help me in this.
