AddNew function without utilizing button

I have a database created in Microsoft Access. I want the pdf to be opened and automatically execute the addNew function without having the user click on the addNew button. Everytime it is opened I want the form to understand that the users only intention is to add data to the database. My knowledge of javascript is minimal and this form is simple data entry that will be trended. Please help.

My movie has 1 frame. I deleted the layer that had the button, so I have an AS layer with the following code in it.
txt_ani.startTypeEffect();
And a layer below it with my movie clip with the Function code on one layer and the text in another layer below it.
When I do play it, nothing happens. But when I add some frames to the movie, it starts after a delay, but I keep seeing "START" in my output tab due to the Trace I have, which makes the text appear very quickly. I think I may need some code to stop it from restarting.
Where should this code you provided be put? And do I need additional code to have the text not speed up?

How do you start a function without a button?

I'm having a little trouble understanding the part about your password having to be reset. Why is that happening??
Let's start with Firefox's settings:
(1) You can configure the password manager feature on this tab:
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Security
There is a checkbox to enable/disable the feature.
There also is a "Saved Passwords" button to review and remove any passwords you do not want Firefox to keep.
That tab also has a feature to set a Master Password so that no one can use your saved passwords without knowing the Master Password. You may need to exit Firefox in order for Firefox to ask for that again.

(2) Site-specific permissions

That could be a hardware problem with the screen digitizer but first try these troubleshooting steps in this order:
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10-15 seconds). No data will be lost.
Restore: Connect your device to iTunes on your computer, backup, and then select Restore to Factory.

There is a property "Destination Function" on Submit buttons.
What is the purpose of this field.
I tried setting some values here expecting following behavior in order:
1. Process Form Request will get executed.
2. User will be navigated to the OAF page related to the Destination Function.
Destination Function property probably point to setInvokeFunction method of the OASubmitButtonBean.
Please advise on this.

In LabVIEW 3.0.1, how to open a VI *diagram* (opens panel only without any buttons or menus)?

I need to edit the diagram of an old LabVIEW 3.0.1 VI, which is running on a old Windows 3.11 computer (yes indeed!).
When clicking on the VI, or when opening it from the file-menu, the frontpanel opens without title- and menu-bars, and without any button-bars. And there is no "right-clicking" in Windows 3.11. The VI does not open in Run-mode, it just does not show any clickable buttons (so I can't even start or stop it this way; normally it is called from another VI). Thus I can't do "view diagram", and thus I can't reach the diagram.
Do you know of any shortcuts, key combinations or other workarounds to get to the diagram? None of the tricks which work on Windows 95 and higher seem to work here. And I am not familiar with this old LabVIEW version.

If it is not running, I think <ctrl> w is the old LV shortcut to get to the diagram. I would open a new VI , and insert it in the diagram. but hmmm, it has been ages... so not sure if <ctrl> double click will jump you straight to the diagram of the subvi...

For the hiding, go to the document properties under initial view. You may confuse some folks if there is no file menu to close the file (a lot of folks just can't get the keyboard shortcut, alt-F4, into their head. They are going to look for where to find the file menu to close.

Posible to start a report without a button, only i Select List ???

another problem :)
I have i lot of select lists in my aplication and the selectet items in the list are the values for my report. The problem is that i create a button for the select lists and when i click on the button the report was filled. Is there a option to start filling the report without the button ? I select the item in the list and now the report was filled with the values ? After the first select list i check the second. Select a value and the report is updated ?

Create a select item with submit referencing the same page
Use the select with submit bindvariable as a bindvariable in the reportquery
So when you select an item in the list, say the list has 4 values (1-4), eg. you select 2 in the selectlist with submit, the page redirects to itself putting the value 2 in the binvariable (the selectlist with submit), in the reportquery you refernce to the bindvariable in the where clause. Which contains the value 2. There are probably much more advanced ways to do this. Just started out myself. All the best. If it still isn't clear I give an even more thorough explination. Good luck.

Function of Refresh Button in Web interface

Hi All,
I have created a web layout in which there is "REFRESH" button.
If i have opened the web layout and i simultaneously do some changes in back end from BW side. After clicking refresh in web interface changes are not reflected.
What exactly the function of "REFRESH" button is??
Also is there any other way through which i can get the changes( done in back end) reflected in my already logged in Web layouts??

Can you clarify it more. Lets take an example. If i have one charachteristics for project say A and i have prepared a layout which is showing that projects attributes like project's begin date, end date, etc..
Now if i open the Web interface and at the same time if i change its end date from back end, on click of refresh the changes are not reflected...
But if i again open that Web interface changes are reflected. What is reason for this??
Any help appreciated.
