You can sync your mail, contacts and calendar with Google Sync. Tasks and notes are not supported. (Notes syncing is not possible with MfE anyway.)

No puedo sincronizar blackberry bold con Outlook 2010

Tengo Outlook 2010 y windows 7 y blackberry Bold 9780. Cuando intento sincronizar contactos y calendario a traves de desktop software aparece un error "Click to run" y posteriormente me indica que debo usar una versión abterior de outlook ya que la versión 2010 no es compatible.
Me puede alguien decir si hay solución o realmente no es compatible?

Bb 8520 no sincroniza con outlook 2010

Someone know how to transfer my data from outlook to my bb 8520? The sincronize option doesn´t work properly

1) Your specific BB OS level
2) Outlook 2010 -- 32 or 64 bit?
3) Your specific RIM Desktop Software version.
4) And, perhaps most importantly, exactly what happens..."doesn't work properly" leaves us to, well, guess.

I can not install the Icloud control panel on a new windows 7 pc wtih outlook 2010. I get "you can't sign in because of a server error" .

I can not install the icloud control panel on a neww windows 7 pc with outlook 2010. When i try I get "you can't inssign in because of a server error"
I have :
turned of the windows fire wall and antivirus protection
stop and started the bonjour service
done the "netsh winsock reset"
updated all the drivers
I can login to icloud.com with no problem and view my calendar.
Apple chat also provide me with a test id and password to try to install the icloud panel, I got the same error message???
Anyone have a fix?

To solve this problem you can:
Windows 7
1) Click on Start
2) Type cmd and press enter
you will see a new window
3) type "netsh winsock reset"
4) restart the machine
should work.
If still does not work you must disable the firewall and antivirus
Para solucionar este problema debes hacer lo siguiente:
en Windows 7
1) click en Inicio
2) escribe CMD y pulsa enter
te va a aparecer una nueva ventana
3) escribe "netsh winsock reset"
4) reinicia la maquina
deberia de funcionar.
Si aun no funciona debes de deshabilitar el firewall y el antivirus

Outlook 2010 is not opened via OLE2 ABAP program, error is raised

I would like to start Outlook 2010 from an ABAP report, create an email and attach .pdf and .csv files to it. When I try to execute the following code I get a subrc = 2:
CREATE OBJECT outlookapp 'Outlook.Application'.
I have found 'SAP Knowledge Base Article 1570573 - Rich Client throws email error on Windows 7 with Outlook 2007 and Outlook 2010' but this didn't help me solve my problem.
In previous versions of Outlook this piece of code did work.
I'm using Windows7 64 bit with Outlook 2010 32 bit.

How to import files in Outlook 2010??

I converted all my Mac Thunderbird archived mbox files to pst format using an application named Gladwev thunderbird to pst convreter which I got from http://thunderbirdtopst.com/. As the converter final step shows that I have completed the conversion
process, I am concerned on how do I import these files in outlook 2010. Is there any addon that I need to use as in thunderbird or there are any direct methods to do it...???

As per the information and details provided by you, to import files in Outlook 2010, please follow these steps: -
1. Click the File tab.
2. Click Open.
3. Click Import.
4. In the Import and Export Wizard, click Import from another program or file, and the click
Next.
5. Click Outlook Data Files (.pst) > Next.
6. Click Browse, and then choose the file to
Import.
Note: - Under Options, it is recommended that you click
Do not import duplicates unless you want the imported information to replace or duplicate items already in outlook.
7. Click Next.
8. If a password was assigned to the Outlook Data File (.pst), you are prompted to enter the password, and then click
OK.
9. Set the options for importing items, The default settings usually don’t need to be changed.
10. The top folder - usually Personal Folders, Outlook Data File, or your email address – is selected automatically.
11. Include sub folders is selected by default. All folders under the folder selected will be imported.
12. The default selection of Import items into the same folder in matches the folders from the imported file to the folders in Outlook. If a folder doesn’t exist in Outlook, it will be created.
13. Click Finish.

Application Request to be approved/reject through Outlook 2010

Need your suggestions / inputs in implement a requirement i.e any application (WF) request can be either approved/ rejected
through outlook 2010 instead of every time logging into application portal and then to approve or reject.

This is possible SAP workflow with extended notifications.

Carrera en SAP empezando con ABAP IV

En breve quiero comenzar un curso de ABAP, con el objetivo de certificarme a medio plazo, he tocado algo de SAP, y creo que me puede gustar bastante.
El caso es que me gustaria hacer una carrera profesional en SAP, donde el inicio fuese como programador de ABAP siendo IT como soy. Pero tampoco me gustaria estar toda la vida programando en ABAP, sino que mas adelante me gustaria especializarme en un modulo. ¿Es ese salto posible, o siendo programador en ABAP te quedas estancado en ABAP?.
Siendo IT, ¿a que modulos puedo optar?, ¿solo BASIS?, o, ¿se puede optar a otros modulos como BI, FI, WM,.. sin haber estudiado un carrera relacionada con gestion y administracion de empresas?

Dado tu perfil, tu vertiente es cláramente técnica.
Como bien comentas, tienes dos posibilidades o bien escoges la parte de programación, donde trabajaras con ABAP IV sobre todo aunque también, Java, el novedoso SAPUI5 (basado el Html5),etc o bien escoges SAP NetWeaver Administrator o como se le conocía y conoce SAP Basis.
Si decides ir por la consultoría ya sea de FI, SD, MM, contar un una formación complementaria expecífica te ayudará sobre todo en FI, por lo que no te lo recomendaría.
La programación te dará una visión muy amplia del ciclo completo de SAP y no son raros los casos de programadores que se acaban pasado a la consultoría funcional con excelentes resultados.
Escojas lo que escojas intenta que sea lo más vocacional posible, esta vocación te hará continuar en momentos de difíciles.

I have been reading some post. Do we have to have UWL to have the buttons to show up from email link? UWL (Universal WorkList) is with portal? Buttons do not show up in the HTML version of SAP?

Outlook 2010 shared mailbox marked as read/unread issue

Hi Outlook Pro's,
We've got a weird issue on a shared e-mail account in exchange. 2 users accessing the shared account currently experience this issue whereas another one works fine and we're trying to determine the source of the problem.
When browsing the shared e-mail account's inbox, and opening an e-mail, the e-mail isn't marked as read in the inbox. This is a problem as other users viewing the same e-mail account can't see whether the e-mail is being serviced.
However, if we categorize the e-mail, it is marked as read/unread instantly. Or if we switch to the users personal inbox and back again it changes the read/unread status.
User services has tried the following:-
1. Changed Reading Pane options for when the mail item is marked as read.
2. Enabled the reading pane addon for Outlook.
3. Repairing the OST (clearing the exchange cache)
3. Switching the effected user to another computer, it's almost like the problem follows their profile.
The e-mail account is shared between 5 users, only 2 of which are experiencing this problem.
Is there anything else we can try on the user end?
What should we investigate in Exchange?

Analysed first according to your description.
1. Changed Reading Pane options for when the mail item is marked as read. - no option problem
2. Enabled the reading pane addon for Outlook. - What's add-ins in your site?
3. Repairing the OST (clearing the exchange cache) - Not the problem for data file itself
4. Switching the effected user to another computer, it's almost like the problem follows their profile. - Not the problem related the shared mailbox
5. The e-mail account is shared between 5 users, only 2 of which are experiencing this problem - conflict with the result of Point 4, it looks the local profile still be the doubt..
At this point, please try to run Outlook.exe with safe mode on those two problematic computers and avoid any add-ins interrupt. You may also use the switch command-line /cleanviews to check the result as well.
On other hand, please double confirm if the problematic computers' connection status vs. none-issue machines'. Using the cable connection with the same network speed? RPC/MAPI or RPC over http? etc... Any difference might be the cause.

Errors all the time in Outlook 2010?

Hi,
For the past 2 days I cannot recieve or send emails at all on one of my laptops but on the other it does work fine. They both have the same set ups using MS Outlook 2010 but the other latop is on Windows 7 and this one is on windows 8.1 which does not work and I'm thinking it may have something to do with windows 8.1 which has happened over the past couple of days maybe an update or something that has caused the problems but I dont know what, the only thing I have been doing is resetting my equipment router/modem becuase I have been having speed issues with Infinity and I am waiting on BT to fix the issue, could it be that should I reset the equipment again and try outlook 2013? or also could it be something I have changed in the Home Hub 5 options?. sorry I really don't know what couold of happened?
I get this error when just pressing recieve mail:-
Operation Timed out POP server.
When I just try to test account I get:
POP3 Unknown error occured.
It started happening about 2 days ago. Does anyone know why this is going on? Thanks.

Now here's more to add to the mystery.
I have just unplugged the usb wi fi adaptor, after 10 days of use, and activated the atheros internal laptop wireless adaptor.
(It's a reasonably specced Windows 7 HP laptop)
Outlook 2013 now sends and receives, and with a much quicker response than the with the usb.
Not much consolation for your problem, perhaps. But it may be just a case of waiting.
It's one for the networking experts, I think.
There's been problems in the past connecting to the BBC homepage, which can go on for several days then just "goes away".

Save As Dialog Not Showing when opening pdf from Outlook 2010

Hi
I have recently had to change the default documents folder on a windows 7 machine (Right Click Documents, properties, include folder, set save location). Since this change, when opening an attached pdf document in outlook 2010 and viewing with adobe reader, if i click Save as from the file menu, no os dialog appears and therefore user cannot choose a place to save the document.
As a work around the user can right click the attachment save the docment to a location, once opened, ther save as dialog is usable.
I have uninstalled and re-installed reader to the laterst version, but with no luck.
Any ideas?

This looks like a new behavior of Outlook 2010 and isn't specific to PDFs. You will need to "save as" the document. There is a thread at Microsoft forums about this with some possible workarounds:

Can not open pdf file in Outlook 2010 - error opening document

when I click on the PDF file in the email (Outlook 2010), Adobe opens but it pops a window "There was an error opening this document. Access denied". If I save the document as a file, aka to the desktop, I can open it then.
Also also I click on the ok button in adobe, it posted a Runtime error! application has requested the RunTime to terminate it in an unusal way.
has anyone seen this issue. Desktop is using Windows XP, 4 gig ram, Adobe X verision 10.0.1

Open up Adobe Reader X
On the Toolbar Menu go to Edit > Preferences
Go to the general tab under Categories.
Untick “Enable Protected Mode at Startup”
If asked if sure, click Yes and then Ok.
Now close Adobe Reader X and try opening the PDF again.

Cannot send email from Outlook 2010 without disabling iCloud Outlook Add-in

I have seen a few discussions on this but no answers. I have bought a new PC. Installed Outlook 2010 and iCloud latest version 3. All seems to work fine but emails go into the Outbox and dont get any further. If I remove the iCloud Outlook Add-in then I can send my emails but of course now cannot see my contacts nor my calendar! So it's one or the other and I'm currently going backwards and forwards between each. I have uninstalled and gone back to an earlier version 2 of iCloud with no success, same problem. I have uninstalled that and now reinstalled version 3. The problem remains. Can you advise on how to solve this please?
