Mapping Code cannot be generated after reconsile

This is the second project I am about to deploy, but just before deploying to production I found out that after adding some cube attributes and reconcile the target into the cube mapping I get a message with NO errors.
Code cannot be generated.
See validation details.
I went to the validations details and I found
VLD-0001: Validation completed succesfully.
This had happen before so I end redoing some mappings, 1 or 2. But this one is too large.
Is anyone aware of bugs after reconciling the targets in the mappings.

I found it.
After the reconcile to the target, since I using a Loading Type Update/Insert the mathcing constraints is lost. So I just re-select the matching constraint an the mapping is working well.

    i m working on LSMW for loading data in SAP
    i would like to insert abap code into the generated program....
    it's because i have 1 BKPF segment (header data), 2 BSEG segments, but i cannot define rules by customizing for the second BSEG segment(LSMW doesn't permitt).
    i already tried to insert code directly into the program, but obviously it disapears at each time i generate the program.
    i saw that apparently a code insertion has already be made into this program and the subject of this insertion is to define rules for the second BSEG (exactly what i want to do....) and this modification doesn't disapear at new prog generation.....
    Any idea ?

    Why dont you use the FORM provided by LSMW
    To use this please do the following
    1.Goto option <b>Maintain Field Mapping and Conversion Rules</b>
    2.Goto menu <b>EXTRAS->LAYOUT->Form Routines</b>
      Here you will now get many options like
       Global Data
       Begin of Transaction
    Begin of Processing
    Begin of Record
      like wise the End of these also.
    Please put a breakpoint and check where you want to insert your code.
    Note:
    This is only for the Conversion Program and does not affect the main program used to update the Standard Tables

  • The Web Dynpro component cannot be generated due to serious (syntax) errors

    Hi everybody,
    While I was developing a web dynpro application, I had an error but I couldn't understand this error. Before I took this error message, only I changed bound one context node to another context node in a RadioButtonGroupByKey.Therefore, when I pushed activate button, I took an error message.This error message said "The Web Dynpro component cannot be generated due to serious (syntax) errors". What does it mean ? How can I find out where is the error in the application. Also, I think the reason of this error message is about a BC problem. I am waiting for your comment urgently.

    Just delete the context (by using the context binding) and bind the field with the correct node and try to activate .
    One more suggestion is that after deleting the binding and before binding to other node check it that whether that binding was properly deleted or not.Some times its not deleting the binding.
    Hopely my suggestion may work.

    I have developed ABAP mapping in my scenario, but the why the class doesn't effect immediately after i have done some modification in the mapping class.
    is there any step that i have to execute after i have changes the abap mapping code in order to make this class working in my mapping step ?

  • "Jump distance is too large and cannot be generated." in BI custom exit

    Hi folks,
    we got a mega include with plenty of BI exit variables as part of the EXIT_SAPLRRS0_001 (enhancement RSR00001 - BI: Enhancements for Global Variables in Reporting; /nsmod) and face now the following problem:
    "Jump distance is too large and cannot be generated." when activating the source.
    It seems we reached a certain limit of ABAP statements or LOC. How can we extend this limit
    or solve this challenge?

    Hi,
    I assume that you have used condition statements like if...endif.
    Every condition statement can hold only 32 KB of code. This issue can be resolved by modularizing the code or changing the logic in such a way that you dont hit the upper limit.
    Following this, you can definitely solve the issue.

  • Jump is too great and cannot be generated...

    Hi All,
    I am working on a User Exit for HR module. I am getting an error while activating the code. The error says.."Jump is too great and cannot be generated...A control structure or routine CHECK/EXIT contains too many ABAP statements.".
    I had observed this error before also and I tried to remove the Check & Exit statements from the User exit code. Now a stage has come where I am not able to find any Check or Exit present in the code which can lead to this Jump error.
    Is there any other reason for the error? How can I remove this error ??

  • PR not generated after WO released.

    Hi,
    I created an external service operation and assign it to a contract. I would expect after release the work order, an auto PR will be generated. However, when I display the external item to see the PR number, the Requisition field is blank. No PR generated for the work order.
    In order to generate the PR, I tried to add new external service operation to the work order. Unfortunatly I hit error message 'Purchase requisition for service activity / element cannot be generated Message no. CN 764'. I've entered every item required for the external service, but keep getting same error message.
    Please advise, if anyone knows any correction program available in the system that can auto generate the PR.

    Since the service packet has not been created, no purchase requisition can be created. Therefore, the system generates message CN764 and the indicator is set to 'Never'.
    If the assigned activity has status 'REL', the created service element is also released. If the Res/PurcRq indicator is set in the activity element (immediate or from release), the system attempts to create a purchase requisition.
    System generates the purchase requisition immediately after the service lines have been maintained.
    Also check the specify the item category as D?

    I want to know if I could map code to design automatically with using UML modelling function using JDeveloper 10.1.3? What I mean is... I know I could transform Java classes from Class Diagram, but, how about mapping code automatically with Sequence Diagram? By the way, what is the main function provides to us for other diagrams besides Java Class Diagram? Thank you.

    You can create a sequence diagram from a debugger session in JDeveloper by adding a breakpoint to your existing code and then picking Debug -> Debug with diagram. Every time you step into a class the sequence diagram will update, you can then save the diagram after ending your debug session and edit it from publication.
    JDeveloper does not support creating java code from the sequence diagram.

    Hopefully, I have understood this question correctly. OWB generates all the code via PL/SQL packages as PL/SQL is the most performant way to interact with the database. You can control the type of code generated using various data object properties as well as generation properties that let you create either:
    Set based
    Set based fail over to row
    Set based fail over to row based target only
    Row based
    Row based target only
    Within the mapping editor you can view the generated code directly within the "Generation Results" window once you select the "Generate" option from the Mapping menu. This is the code that will get deployed to your target schema.

  • No Acc. Doc generated after Post Good Issue - please help!

    I have problem when I try to post good issue, the accounting doc doesn't generated.
    I have created SO, (Order type - OR, item category - TAB, Schedule Line cat - CB), created PO after the purchase requisition was generated in the SO. processed good receipt and created outbound delivery, everything is fine until post good issue, there is no Acc. Doc created automatically after PGI.
    I have check the following setting
    material type attribute setting - ok (standard price control, val.update, qty update)
    valuation level - ok (valuation area is plant)
    valuation grouping code - ok (activated)
    valuation areas assigned to the valuation grouping code - ok
    valuation class(s) is linked to material type(s) vis acc. cat. ref. - ok
    accout grouping for movement type - ok (leave it as default)
    configure auto posting - ok (I have run the simulation test, and created the missing G/L acc in the company code which under testing)
    The WL Acc Doc type is defined and assigned with number range.
    material and accounting period are open
    In Purchase order, the purchase item assigned with Acc Assignment Category E, Special Stock is E, Consumption Posting set in Acc Assignment Category is E, Acc Modification is VAY, GR non-valuated and GR non-val. binding checkboxes are deselected.
    I know the Acc Assignment Cate will affect the auto acc posting in GR, but I am not sure it will affect PGI in the same way.
    Could anyone tell me which value string will be using for this auto acc posting for PGI? My best guess is
    MvT S val. update, qty update Mvt Cns
    601 E YES YES L ?
    Could anyone tell me what cause the Acc Doc not be generated after PGI?

    Regard to the point 2 suggested by Cathy, the account determination for billing is set, the accouting doc is created after billing.
    my problem is no acc. doc generated after PGI.
    meanwhile I have searched a similar problem in other forums, I found some similar reply as Prasanth did, so I think I may try to run VA88 to see the result.
    Prasanth, could you please explain the pinciple behind of why this happen if what you say is correct.

    thanks for you reply. but seems we don't call getWriter() at all in our code.
    actually this error only happen in our customer's env, no this issue in our development env.
    besides using getOutputStream() and getWriter() simultaneously for same response, is this maybe related with some web server configuration?

  • OBIEE11g maps Some map formatting cannot be displayed

    I'm getting this warning when the obiee11g maps showing more than 500 poligons on OBIEE11g:
    Warning:
    Some map formatting cannot be displayed.
    Edit the query to return fewer rows
    But i realy need to show about 600 poligons.
    Is there a way I can alter this limit?

    Actually I found out that this is not a limitation.
    There is a parameter in instanceconfig.xml where you can set the maximum number of polygons:
    Inside the ServerInstance tag, you must add the following code:

    You can use transaction FB03 where click on the document list, here click on multiple selection and add transaction code in to the list. Enter transaction FF67. Make sure you are entering correct posting date and other parameters.

                   It works fine but in that case there might be a deadloack on the server side since both the client and server in that case try to modify tables on the same db.
    any work arounds???????

    HTTP is a request / Responce based protocole where all the data to be send to the server must be included in the request and then the server send all the data as the responce.
    By the time you read the responce the request is already send and the server have finished processing it. So it is not posible to send more data to the same request.

    I want to creat a new external activity，but the Purchase req. for activity/element cannot be generated. The Messagr No. is CN705.
    I checked the network activity,I fount that the"Reservation/ Purchase Requisition" be setted option 2 ( From Release). I want this should be with option 3 (immediately).
    I have checked network profile , the option 3 (immediately) is setted.
    Is there any other place where we set this setting. Please share your valuable opinion.

    If it is appearing in display mode only (It must be made to "display" only in SPRO at Field settings for Network) then it is not possible for the users to change it in the operative project. If you have made the changes in the Network profile for Pur.reqn. after the Project / NWA is created and released then  create a fresh  Network /activity and check.
