ADF - Collections with Arrays Not Displaying

I am using JDeveloper 10.12.
Within the applicaiton I am developing I have the following:
nominalRecord - Java Bean
nominalRecordCollection - Collection of nominalRecords
I have generated a data control from the nominalRecordCollection. The data within each of the nominalRecords is being populated correctly - I know this as I have written a sperate test class to display the data to screen.
I have tried to display this collection using ADF by dragging and dropping the nominalRecordCollection data control onto a data page. Unfortunately this does not seem to be displaying the data correctly.
Some of the data within the nominalRecord is contained within Arrays as there are multiple values. For Example:
String surname;
String firstname;
String[] descriptionCode;
String[] descriptionText;
This is necessary because an individual may have more that one descriptive features - I need to store them like this because an individual can have any number of descriptive features. e.g.
01 - Tattoo
02 - Beard
03 - Wig
etc etc.
When the applicaiton is executed the data that is stored within the String variables within the nominalRecord classes are displayed correctly BUT the data stored within the arrays is not displayed at all.
I've speant the afternoon looking into this but have not managed to find a suitbale solution. Can ADF in fact render Collections that have Arrays in them?
I'd appreciate any help/assistance with this matter.

ADF swing: JTabbedPane does not display column names.

Hi all,
I have created an ADF Panel, which allows the user to run a few simple queries against an Oracle database done using ADF view objects and ADF view links and ADF application module.
From the data control area I drag and drop a view link containing a query into a JTabbedPane. But when I run the ADF panel, JTabbedPane does not display the column headers from the SQL as opposed to JScrollPane which does.
Suppose you do a select * from departments(dep_id, manager, state_cd), you will see all column headers meaning dep_id, manager, state_cd, and under each column the corresponding data which was retuned by the SQL if you use JScrollPane. But if you use you use JTabbedPane then you would only see the data which was retuned by the SQL without seeing the column header names meaning dep_id, manager, state_cd.
What do I need to do to make JTabbedPane display columns headers?
I would appreciate your input.

JScrollPane should be used. You can add this into a JTabbedPane if you like. Not all Swing panel show table headers

Problem with data not displaying in website

Hello All,
I am having a problem with one of our applications. It is written in ColdFusion and uses SQL server. The problem that we are having is when we use the URL Http://bma.com (that is not actually the site name) we cannot see all the data that it is suppose to pull in. I get an error on page and when I select to view the error this is what I get
Message: 'WddxRecordset' is undefined Line: 184 Char: 2 Code: 0 URI: http://bma.com/user_maintenance.cfm and Message: 'jsusersTLV' is undefined Line: 3208 Char: 6 Code: 0 URI: http://bma.com/user_maintenance.cfm
If I put the IP address in the URL for example http://165.83.109.246/bma/login.cfm all of the data is displayed as it should.
Any thoughts or sugguestios on how to correct this?

Yes, the user_maintenance.cfm is one of the forms that the data is not displaying on. There are multiple forms in the application and that just happens to be one of them. the login.cfm is just the login screen. Once you select your name and enter your password to the application then you can select the user maintenance form. If you select someones name the application should pull in all of that persons information. That is the problem, it is not pulling in any information on the user. We get a blank screen where data should be. When we use the IP address in the URL and select someones name in the user manintenance form, it pulls in all the data from that user as it should.

Downloaded files with ActiveX not displays using Windows 8 and IE 11

We are using ActiveX for downloading file from our server. After downloading ActiveX decrypt downloaded files. ActiveX works fine with all other IE versions but in case of IE 11, when we download the files ActiveX doesn't throw any error, but when we check
the files at downloaded location, it looks like there was no files downloaded. When we the same process again using "IE 11 using "run as Administrator" the downloaded files displays at the downloaded location.
After debugging, We didn't found error like "access denied or path not found or any other error." with or without Administrator mode. but still facing this issue.
When we download file again using "Browse for Folder" it display the previous downloaded folders, but not exists at the actual location.

on the user account.
Tools>Manage Addons>Show all addons>Locate your custom download control in the list and double click it to display its properties.
at the bottom of the Properties dialog there is a list of allowed sites. compare this with the settings on the Administrators account. The value should be the same as on the user account.

it is only available in the x86 version.
On server versions of windows you can only download software from MS on the Admin account. By default
http://microsoft.com is mapped to the Trusted sites list...

ADF Faces 16 Components not displaying in Disign Tab

I am trying to create a page with the ADF Faces Table component. When I add the component to the page it tells me to restart JDeveloper (as expected). When I restart JDev the page shows up blank in the designer tab. The source tab seems to have all the code.
Also, when I run the project the page does display with the header text but without the table.
Any ideas on how to get the components to show in the designer?

Bulk Collect with FORALL not working - Not enough values error

I am trying to copy data from one table to another which are having different number of columns. I am doing the following. But it threw not enough values error.
Table A has more than 10 millions of records. So I am using bulk collect instead of using insert into select from.

Table A has more than 10 millions of records. So I am using bulk collect instead of using insert into select from.That doesn't make sense to me. An INSERT ... SELECT is going to be more efficient, more maintainable, easier to write, and easier to understand.

    FROM a;is going to be faster, use fewer resources, be far less error-prone, and have a far more obvious purpose when some maintenance programmer comes along than any PL/SQL block that does the same thing.
If you insist on using PL/SQL, what version of Oracle are you using? You should be able to do something like

END;That at least eliminates the infinite loop and the unnecessary dynamic SQL. If you're using older versions of Oracle (it's always helpful to post that information up front), the code may need to be a bit more complex.

Collected Tooltip does not display in SSRS 2008 or SSRS 2008 R2 on a pie chart

I've tried everything I can think of, but setting the Custom Property "Collected Tooltip" for a pie chart where there is data that will be "collected" into an "Other" slice doesn't appear to work. I am using SQL Server 2008 and SQL Server 2008 R2,
and neither one seems to display the collected tooltip. I have no difficulty getting a tooltip to appear for all the other slices in the pie, using the series tooltip property. I've searched this forum as well as Google, and the
only things I managed to find with any reference was one page that shows you where all those custom attributes are and how to use them. Is there a bug here, or am I doing something wrong?

Help with spry not displaying using ssi

I have reviewed previous tutorials and can't find where my mistake is. I cut and pasted the code for spry onto an include file with the extention .shtml . I pointed to the file and the header seeems to correct,

This assumes that your include file is named includes.shtml and is always stored inside a folder named "funthings". Many people store includes inside a folder named "includes" in the root folder on the server.
NOTE: the .shtml file extension only applies to the parent page calling the include file.

TS3276 Problem with mail not displaying the arrow "replied"

I having a problem with my mail account. The arrow appearing on the side of a message after being replied do not appear anymore. It is therefore hard for me to keep track if I replied or not to a specific email. The email is still being sent and received.
Any help would be appreciated.

I am having the same issue. I have multiple imap accounts and one of the accounts does display the replied to arrow after replying to a e-mail. I have check every setting I can think of, with no sucess.. Any luck fixing this issue??

Nested Internal tables with cl_gui_alv_grid - not displaying records

I wrote a program using nested internal tables with cl_gui_alv_grid class
At runtime, when I select dropdown on one of the cells (RESWK - driver to the nested table), it does not bring the related record and display it
Does cl_gu_alv_grid support nested internal tables?
Or which class to use

Issues with Dates not displaying

Hello! I've built a small form with HTMLDB to handle operational tickets/issues/incidents. I've been able to display the data in one page, graph statistics in another but my page where the incidents can be edited has a small issue.
When I click on an edit icon (on pg1) to edit the row, it brings me to page 2 and all the data from that row is displayed EXCEPT for the dates. I've chosen a date picker for that item but in the case where that column was already filled with a date beforehand, it now displays null. All the other data (numbers and varchar2s) display without issue. I can edit the fields and submit the changes and all the changes update correctly (even the dates once new ones are picked) but in some cases I do not want to change that date but display it for informational purposes.
I'm using the TIMESTAMP datatype for those dates by the way.

Indeed! I used the wizard and had the dates as TIMESTAMP datatypes. I changed the datatypes back to DATE for now and it works perfectly. Another satisfied customer! ;-)

Report with BDC not displaying success message when run in Background

I am running a BDC report in Background mode.The below statement is not capturing the Success message when a document is posted.But when I am running the same in ForeGround mode it is capturing and is displayed in the output.Can anyone please help me in understanding why this is happening and how can I resolve this.

I think your BDC didnt generated any document when you run it in 'N' screen mode.
Debug your program when you run it in background
Goto Tcode :SM37
Select the job ( march checkbox )
==> in command prompt enter 'JDBG'
==> Then you can start reexecting the job .
You can check the sucess messages accordingly in debug mode
Also add a read statement on messtab for msgtype = 'S'.

RGB pdf with hyperlinks not displaying in RGB

I'm creating a PDF for use online. It began as a print document but I've changed everything to RGB and I want the hyperlinks to display in a bright RGB blue color. (InDesign CS6) When I open the PDF in Acrobat, it displays ONLY THE FIRST PAGE in RGB. All subsequent pages are displaying in CMYK. I have saved this file out every which way, and the only way it seems to preview all pages in RGB is by taking the compatiblity down to Acrobat 4.0. Unfortunately, that does not support the hyperlinks, so that is not an option. Please help. I'm so baffled.

Problems with navigator not displaying artboard correctly

I'm having a heck of a time getting my navigator window to only display the artboard, option is selects in nav tab to "only display artboard". The navigator window is always bigger than the image and has extra white space around the artboard settings. Any ideas, I've tried a new preference and windows login, that seemed to work for awhile then it went back.
My thoughts:
Does a placed image with a clipping mask applied have an effect ?
Does the use of numerous compound paths and groups have an effect?
My navigator window is very important to me as I design for mobile devices and I use it to see the design at handheld size.
Any help?
