ADF Menu container "shadow" does not appear... how to fix?

In EM (Grid Control), the user can navigate to some MOS (My oracle support) content. The content which is flash (swf) is displayed within an iframe. There is an adf menu bar above the content area and if the user selects an adf menu for display, the main part of the menu container (that shows the menu items) displays fine, but the menu container "shadow" (below and to the right of the container) does not. Would anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?
I've tried setting the z-index (of the iframe) but that didn't work.

if u r using ADF then u have to have adf libraries added.. the red lines are coming because jdeveloper could not find those classes mentioned.. the libraries have those classes.. so when u added the libraries.. u r red lines are gone..

The "File Info..." box does not appear, how to fix?

I have sent this in on the bug fix form and thought id ask on here as well. Basically I am trying to find out the information for my document which I am in the middle of editing, though after clicking on file info within the file menu nothing appears. It wont let me exit indesign as it says there is a dialog box there, the only way i can "exit" this is by selecting enter on the keyboard before closing down indesign. I have tested this on a new document, tried making my screen scale smaller, checked the other desktops and I cannot find or see any file info dialog box when it is apparently in use. I am using an Apple MacBook Pro on operating system "Mavericks-10.9.5". I have done the same sequence of creating a document and selecting file info on photoshop as a test to see whether it crosses over all the software, though this isnt the case. Therefore I have tried to clear my workspace preferences and again to no avail. Can anyone figure this problem out?

This issue has been resolved after finding the below linked post. I reinstalled Indesign and it seems to work fine now, though if the error reoccurs I will add this to my thread. Also something that is worthy of noting is that I also use multiple screens, i vary between using the macbook's screen alone and that of the macbook plus a HD desktop monitor.

Further to using the guidance found in the below thread my illustrator CC has once again encountered this issue. I have been using multiple screens as usual and I am wondering if there is a simpler way to sort the issue out rather then re-installing the software?

You need to burn the CD
using the "Rock Ridge" file extension. This creates
(or adds on to the CDFS, I'm not sure which) a Unix
file system which OBP can understand.No. RockRidge extensions only apply to ISO-9660 filesystems and they can only be applied if you're actually creating the filesystem in the first place. Installation CDs boot from a UFS filesystem that doesn't require RR. (Although they may have an additional hsfs filesystem).
If you have a .ISO file, then the filesystem is already constructed. You can't affect RR extensions at that point. Even simple little ISO burning scripts that don't have any understanding of UFS or RR should be able to construct the disk properly.
I have made it
to this point. I have systematically burned around 25
CDs (all made on Wintel -- an old Gateway PC running
WinXP Pro), taking notes on which configuration
settings were used to make each one, attempting to
install Solaris 10 for SPARC. I am at the point now
where OBP recognizes the CD (I no longer see the
"can't execute" error message), but it can't tell
which CD it is i.e. #1, #2, etc. So, I need to open
up the CD catalog once again, and try to determine in
which logical block the disk ID is located, and then
try to figure out where to enter that information in
my CD burning software (currently experimenting with
"Magic ISO".
Also, if you are atttempting to boot your SPARC
machine from the .iso disk #1, you will need to make
that CD bootable. Use your favorite search engine
with the terms "el torito" "bootable CD" and you will
discover a lot of information on this subject.The .ISO file contains the information for a bootable CD. There's nothing extra you have to do. You'd have to worry about that if you wanted to create a new CD and make it bootable, not if you just want to burn the Sun provided ISO images.
In addition, I'm pretty sure that El Torito is an x86/BIOS standard and doesn't apply to SPARC/OBP.

Rectangle: shadow does not appear

in my animate solution (AI 2014.1), I'm using the shadow effect on my boxes/rectangles (X,Y, blur, spread, color) .
Within AI, the shadows are visible around the rectangles. The rectangles are animated.
Checking in IE and Firefox, the shadows are missing. In Chrome, the shadow effect is working.
Any idea how to fix this issue / what has to be checked?

I have now found the stuation when shadows are not appearing around boxes: shadows are not displayed in IE11 and FireFox once you use box-radius settings.
Create a new project, add a rectangle.
Then, use the following settings:
1. Color ("Farbe"): blue
2. Corners ("Ecken"): (17,11,11,36)px (--> CSS: border-radius)
3. Shadow ("Schatten"): (#000000(65%) 3px 10px 3px 0px (--> CSS: box-shadow)
Don't use the Filter.
You should get the following shape within Animate. I have also used pcacity ("Deckkraft") animation but this has no positive or negative effect on shadows.
Now use the preview function. IE11 and Firefox are not displaying the shadow.
The shadow is visible once you delete the box-radius settings.
I have checked if the browsers are able to draw shadows together with box-radius. It should work according to www.caniuse.com and it really works:

Are you in Safari and you want to copy them to iBooks, or you in a different app ? Assuming that you are using Safari, then if I open a PDF on my first gen iPad in Safari and tap on it, I then get a pop-up bar at the top of it with the 'Open In' options.

OK, so I have the Apple TV 3, iMac with Mountain Lin, iTunes 11, iPad 3 with iOS 6.
All on the same home network.
All signed in with the same Apple ID.
All with home sharing enabled.
But home sharing does not work!

Try rebooting all devices including the router.

You can't resize the main window. You can only resize windows that are opened via a window.open() call.

In Workspace the "explorer" menu under "Navigate" does not appear

When users are logging into Workspace, they can not see the "Explorer" menu under "Navigate", and are therefore not able to browse the reports.

Stacks: Show in Finder does not work - how to fix

I have several folders containing aliases to my applications in my Dock. When I click on an icon I get the expected display of the icons and if I click on an application's icon the application launches as expecected but if I click on "Show in Finder" nothing happens. Console says something like this
"CFPropertyListCreateFromXMLData(): Old-style plist parser: missing semicolon in dictionary." How can I fix this or do I have to reinstall?

Firefox changes "(" to "%28" in download filenames. IE does not. How to fix?

When I download a file from a web site: Example ----- file (test) number1.pdf
Using IE, the downloaded file is named --------------------- file (test) number1.pdf
Using Firefox (36.0.1) the downloaded file is named --- file %28test%29 number1.pdf
Is there any way to configure FF to retain literal file names when downloading?
I understand the historical reasons behind substitution, but am surprised I can't configure this.

Okay, I'm starting to understand the problem a little.
Starting/running in safe mode had no affect on the problem. Bit I figured out that what I was copying/downloading WAS indeed a link to a file. If I first opened a file (a PDF) it would show its name with %28 (etc). But, if in Adobe Reader I did a 'Save As', the parentheses in the name return.
So, I guess my real question at this point now refers to avoiding the substitution when working with links. Maybe this can't be fixed. I just find it odd that following the exact same procedure/keystrokes in IE creates local file with parentheses, while FF makes local files with substitution characters. I can go through the hassle of opening the file if it's a PDF, and doing a SaveAs. BUT, I don't have such an option when downloading/copying MP3 files (which also incur the substitute characters.
SO - is this a natural byproduct of extracting the file name from the link script? (I inspected the file link and, in fact, the embedded file name IS modified.
