  • Variant adjustment in HR report

    Hi all,
    Initially I have created a HR Report which has logical database PNP and HR report category say HRCAT1. I have created few variants with this. Now I have changed the HR report category from HRCAT1 to HRCAT2. HRCAT2 has additional fields that of HRCAT1. Now when I selected the any one of the variants, the variants is not showing the additional fields which are available in HRCAT2.
    Please let me know if the variants can be adjusted as per the new HR report category.
    Thanks,

  • Adjusting FBL3N report

    I generated a g/l report using FBL3N tcode. It lists out all the record fine.
    When I compared that report to a custom program, it shows that the balance on the custom sales report is not equal to the balance given by the FBL3N report. Custom report shows amount more than what is displayed on FBL3N.
    We found out that this certain billing document is causing the issue. That billing document is included in the custom sales report but not included in the report of FBL3N. I also found out that this billing document is not complete yet based on the status given by the document flow. It seems that FBL3N is only showing transactions with "completed" status.
    Question: Is there a way that I can adjust that FBL3N so that it can also shows this billing document which is not yet completed? Or should I just adjust the custom report so that it will be balanced with the standard report of SAP?

    Hi Anwer,
    It shows that the balance on the custom sales report is not equal to the balance given by the FBL3N report.
    Where FBL3N is display G/L amount (positive amount) , and your customer sales report shows total sales irrespective of
    returns and credit memo's.In FBL3N shows excluding  the returns and credit memo data.
    Hope now you got an idea why the amount's are different.
    Regards
    Ram

  • "no data found" message wrapping in interactive report

    I've looked around and can't figure out what's going on. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    I have an interactive report which, when no data is found, displays the "no data found" message wrapping very tight. I have uploaded a screenshot of it to TinyPic for you to see what I see.
    The HTML generated around the "no data found" text is the following.
    >
    <DIV id="apexir_DATA_PANEL">
    <TABLE summary="">
    <TBODY>
    <TR>
    <TD>
    <TABLE id="12352007490697832" class="apexir_WORKSHEET_DATA" border="0" cellSpacing="0" summary="" cellPadding="0">
    <SPAN class="fielddata">
    No submissions were found in the system.
    </SPAN>
    </TABLE>
    </TD>
    </TR>
    </TD>
    </TR>
    </TBODY>
    </TABLE>
    </DIV>
    >
    I've looked through the HTML code that is generated for that page, but can't figure out why the words are wrapping. Any thoughts?
    Shane.

    Well, my problem is back again. It is only doing this in IE 8, not FF. When I run IE 8 in "IE 7" mode, the error message shows up fine, all on one line. I actually have two span tags now so I can have some spacing around the "no data found" message. I cannot get the "span" tags to show up in the HTML code. The software for this discussion forum seems to be filtering it out or the web browser is interpreting it when it should not. I will replace the SPAN tags with square brackets so you can see them. I also had to change "style" to "st_yle" so the software did not filter it out. It sure looks like a jumbled mess now.
    >

    Since I am using an interactive report, I do not believe I have any report template I can alter to adjust how the report and/or "no data found" message are being drawn up. I do have the region of the interactive report set to "Reports Region 100% Width", but the HTML in question is not being generated by that template.
    I wonder if the problem is specific to how IE 8 might be interpreting the inside TABLE tags when it does not have any TR or TD tags within it. Any further thoughts on the matter?

  • Fact Sheet - implementing BI Reports

    Hi Experts,
    how can i implement my own BI Reports into the Fact Sheet in CRM 2007. I know the customizing point "maintain Fact Sheet" but the problem is that if I choose BP_FACTSHEET and take a look into the view assignments I only find the entry
    BP_FACTSHEET     BIReport     DEFAULT     BI Report
    I know the customizing "Display SAP Netweaver BI Reports in CRM" also. But where can I adjust which BW report should be shown in the factsheet?
    It would be great if you could give me any hints about this...
    regards
    marc

    Hi Mark,
    This is a two step process, first you need to define your own BI report id's in CRM and then integrate them in the fact sheet as follows
    1. Specify BI Report in SAP CRM
    To display BI reports in the CRM WebClient UI, you need to maintain the BI reports in Customizing with a unique ID.
    You do this in Customizing for Customer Relationship Management, under   UI Framework->UI Framework Definition->Display SAP NetWeaver BI Reports in CRM->Define BI Reports.
    You specify the following:
      BI Object Type: For example, Template 7.x.
      BI Object Key: This is the technical name of the report in SAP NetWeaver BI.
      BI Report ID. You can reuse the object key or enter any name you want to use.
    2. Add BI Report View to Account Fact Sheet Overview
      1.     In the BSP WD Workbench (transaction BSP_WD_CMPWB), enter the component BSP_DLC_FS, and choose Display.
      2.     Double-click the view BSP_DLC_FS/factsheet and go to the Configuration tab page.
      3.     Select the Account Fact Sheet (BP_ACCOUNT_FS) and click Search.
      4.     In the result list, click the <DEFAULT> hyperlink in the Role Config. Key column.
      5.     Select BI Report from the block of available fact sheet views and add it to the block of assigned fact sheet views.
      6.     Change the title to the name you want to use for the assignment block and save your changes.
      7.     Click the Configuration hyperlink of your entry and then Attributes.
      8.     As the BI report ID, enter the report ID you defined in Customizing.
    you can find additional information in the following sap help site.

  • Report alignment issues..please help

    Hi Experts,
    Can somebody help..
    I have following issues in reports:
    .I have a report which runs on web in both formats of PDF's and Excel
    Issues are
    1. In PDF formatl, all columns are being displayed but alignment is the issue.. Since our report should be A4 based. How to increase paper margins..because currently i am not able to drag that black thick coloured line further..? where to adjust and change report layout size..
    2. One more thing is that when i run the pdf report, it starts printing from left without leaving any gap(landscapre mode) and its leaving lots of space on the right.. How can i make equal of both left and right margins.
    3. When I am running excel report and its rnning fine saving in a xls.. but alignment is the issue...
    4.some of the values which are varchar2 data from database... displaying right and some are left aligned.... for example.. if its ABCD then its aligning properly to right. But if it is EFGHEIJK the its doing left alignment... there is no code written for conditional formatting..but what could be the issue.. since the values are direct from table in database..why this is happening
    5. and In excel there is a data column which i manipulated as for example to_char(to_date(20100217,'yyyymmmdd'),'dd-mm-yyyy') and this is coming properly in pdf but not excel..in excel its says something like17-02-10,, yYYY is being displayed only as 10... is there any workaround (not manual))
    6. And in reports, if we create a field and database column is source for it, i would like to know whether there is any option in property column of the field to set width of the filed..
    so that i can reduce of the width in layout to acommidate more column in the report. Because I really not knowing for 8 character database column, how much bigger field i have to create.....
    please help..
    thanks

  • GRC 10.0: Customizing Reporting with field ID's

    Hi everybody,
    we need some reports which are delivering some special information. These informations aren't exist in any of the standard reports. So we would like to customize them.
    I know there is a customizing table V_GRFNREPCOLUMN how to adjust the available reports and I do it like the instruction:
    1) Copy an existing report
    2) Check all the technical adjustments
    3) change the columns for this report
    But there is one problem: The field ID that I need is not available. There are more than 2000 field ID's but not the one that I need. I don't need a custom field because the information is still excisting in the data dictionary. I know the SAP table and the field ID.
    For example:
    We need a list/report where you could see all the control owners of every organisation. I couldn't found a report and I guess there is no one in the SAP standard. After copying a standard report I couldn't find the right field ID. There is one for owners of subprocess and processes and also one for cross regulation control owners, but not for the e.g SOX control owner.
    I try to search in which SAP databse table the information is saved. It is HRP1852. The field ID is (I guess) USERNAME, but this field ID is not available in the customizing of the reports.
    So is there a possibility to enlarge the range of the field ID's?
    We could programm our own report, but this would be too expansive and I just want to use the possibility of the standard report customizing.
    Thanks a lot
    Regards Timo

    Hi,
    I have just checked my SICF settings and found that we have not actually activated those services at all and our NWBC sessions work fine now.
    Have you activated the sap/bc/nwbc and sap/bc/webdynpro services?
    Also, have you activated the required BC sets for the standard content on Access Controls? This removes the need to do a lot of the basic setups but you still need to follow through the event linkages to check the successful generation etc.

  • Parameters on linked report not updating

    Hi,
    I updated a report adding parameter expressions.  A linked report based on the report I updated didn't get the parameter expressions when I deployed the base report.  Anybody else having that issue?  It's not much of a problem.  I just have to recreate the linked report which is a nusance.
    Thanks,
    DD

    I know this question is old, but I had the same problem today, and I think the answer is useful.
    When you deploy a new "main" report, the linked reports are NOT updated automatically, so you need to refresh them. You can do this easily from the Report Manager:
    1 - Update the main report;
    2 - Go to the linked report, use the "Manage" menu, and in the "Properties" tab click in the "Change Link" button:
    3 - In the following screen, select the main report, and click "OK". This will refresh the linked report with the modified main report:
    4 - Once you're back to the previous screen, click the "Apply" button, to really update the linked report.
    5 - VERY IMPORTANT: Since you changed the main report, all the previous adjustments you made in the linked report parameters were lost - like Null, Hide, Prompt User and Display Text, only the Default Value is preserved - so GO TO THE PARAMETERS tab and
    adjust the linked report parameters again!!!

  • Dynamic SQL report  on Oracle apex4.0

    Hi Everyone,
    I have two reports in one page.One is the Interactive and other is Sql report. Based on the selection of the row(using checkbox) in the interactive report, the sql report has to display the selected columns.
    Note :The report has to be loaded whenever a row is selected and without submitting a button
    Can anyone please suggest?
    I am using oracle Apex4.0
    Regards
    Raj

    I believe you store the values in the checkboxes. For example, your Interactive Report query looks like:
    SELECT '<input type=checkbox value='||OBJID||' />' AS CHECKBOX, T.*
    FROM SOME_TABLE T
    and in "Report Atributes" the CHECKBOX is displayed as "Standard Report Column".
    *1.Create a hidden check list input field.*
    It will store a list values of selected checkboxes. make it long enough, eg. 1000.
    Let's say the input name is: P000_X_CHECK_LIST
    *2. Create Dynamic Action*
    This dynamic action is supposed to fill in the P000_X_CHECK_LIST with a list of values, separated by ":" character.
    These values will be an input for the SQL report.
    Name: Update Check List
    Event: Change
    Selection Type: jQuery Selector
    jQuery Selector: input:checkbox
    Action: Set Value
    Set Type: JavaScript Expression
    function check_list() {
    var n = "";
    $(":checked").each( function () {
    n = n + (n === "" ? "" : ":") + $(this).val();
    return n;
    check_list();
    Selection Type: Item(s) - P000_X_CHECK_LIST
    *3. Adjust the "SQL report" query with this magic formula*
    AND SEARCHED_ITEM IN (
    SELECT item
    FROM (SELECT REGEXP_SUBSTR (str, '[^:]+', 1, LEVEL) item
    FROM (SELECT :P000_X_CHECK_LIST str
    FROM DUAL)
    CONNECT BY LEVEL <= length (regexp_replace (str, '[^:]+')) + 1)
    for example:
    SELECT O.*
    FROM SOME_OTHER_TABLE O
    WHERE SEARCHED_ITEM IN (
    SELECT item
    FROM (SELECT REGEXP_SUBSTR (str, '[^:]+', 1, LEVEL) item
    FROM (SELECT *:P000_X_CHECK_LIST* str
    FROM DUAL)
    CONNECT BY LEVEL <= length (regexp_replace (str, '[^:]+')) + 1)
    *4. Adjust the Dynamic Action:*
    Advanced: Event Scope: "live"
    *5. Add one more True action to the Dynamic Action:*
    Action: Refresh
    Selection type: Region
    Region: The region of the "SQL report".
    Volia!
    Best regards,
    Krzysztof

  • SSRS sub report not fitting exactly in the parent textbox in main report.

    Hi All,
    I have a small sub report placed in the main report. Everything is working fine except that the sub report not fitting exactly in the parent text box is bothering me and disturbing the look of it. Can any one tell me how to make the sub report fit to its
    parent properly ???
    contents of my report are as below.
    1st column - project name,2nd column - location(sub report),3rd column - client name,4th - consultants(sub
    report), 5th - registered contractors and date(sub report).
    At the end of the sub report a line is displayed indicating its end. This is what i am concerned about.

    Hello,
    If I understand correctly, you have get a mess format with subreport.
    We can adjust the subreport report body size and tablix with the same size. It will fit exactly in the parent text box. Please refer to the screenshot below:
    If there are any misunderstanding, please elaborate the issue for further investigation.

  • Interactive report showing vertical grid lines

    Has anyone adjusted an interactive report so that it shows the vertical grid lines? I see the horizontal lines by default but I am thinking the vertical lines will make my data easier to read. Just can't figure how to do that.

    Hello Edward,
    @Jeff Eberhard has a good solution for showing vertical grid lines.
    Here is the solution for whole grid for interactive report to be included in the Region Header/Region Footer/Page HTML Header:

         border-spacing: 0px;

    Raju

    hi,
    first of all, GR55 is "execute report group" transaction ...
    with GR53 you can check which reports are included in this report group .. .
    after that .. depending on the type of report (painter or writer) you can go to tr GR32 or GRR2 ...
    there you can adjust the needed report ... copy to new and change, or add new info ...
    BUT  ... to me ... it looks like you have to maintain set or report group with the mentioned accounts ...
    so please try to maintain set (RW) or ordinary CE group ..
    to maintain set ... go to GS02 ...
    to maintain CE group ... got to KAH2 ...
    hope this was helpful ...

  • Fix the coulmn width of main report which contain the sub report( remains white space of extra width)

    Hi,
    I am setting the column width of main report and that column is bounded with the sub report which contain some data.
    But if width is exceeded other than sub report data that width is showing as white space block.
    It should be showing as normal header in gray shade.
    Please provide the solution for this. see the screen attached.
    Thanks

    Hi Raj,
    According to your description, you want to show the sub report without any white space in the textbox. Right?
    In Reporting Services, when we display a sub report in a textbox, this textbox will always show the whole sub report area. If the textbox is smaller than the report area, this textbox will extend automatically to fit the size of the sub report. Otherwise,
    it will has white space inside of the textbox. And if you have white space in your sub report, it will also be displayed in the textbox. So you may need to adjust the sub report size to make it fitted in main report.
