Hi Balachandar P,
If you forgot or lock "Administrator or J2EE_ADMIN" password just follow below steps:
<u><b>STEP-1: Enable "SAP*"</b></u>
1.Start the Config Tool C:\usr\sap\<SID>\<engine-instance>\j2ee\configtool\configtool.bat
Ex: D:\usr\sap\F02\JC00\j2ee\configtool --> configtool.bat
2.Goto cluster-data --> Global server configuration --> services --> com.sap.security.core.ume.service
3.Double-click on the property "ume.superadmin.activated = TRUE"
4.Double-click on the property "ume.superadmin.password=<Enter any password ex: abc123>"
5.Save.
6.Restart the engine.
<u><b>STEP-2: Login with "SAP*" into portal</b></u>
1. http://<host>:<Port>/useradmin/index.jsp
2. Enter userid / password as" SAP* / <password ex: abc123>"
3. Search for "Administrator" user
4. Reset or change password for "Administrtor"

  • Deleting administrator user account

I used Migration Assistant to set up my new MacBook Pro with OSX 6.5. But, somehow in the process I set up a second administrator user account. I've now transferred everything to the proper administrator user account, but I can't figure out how to delete the now unneeded administrator user account.

    Welcome to Apple's discussion groups.
Do you mean "OS X 10.6.4"?
I can't figure out how to delete the now unneeded administrator user account.
Launch System Preferences and open the Accounts panel. If the lock at the bottom is closed, click on it to authenticate. Select the account you want to delete. Click on the minus sign at the bottom of the column.

  • I created a new administrator USER account. I deleted the original one but the process never ends. It's been 3 days now.

I created a new administrator USER account. I deleted the original one but the process never ends. It's been 3 days now. And I can't close preferences window or turn off the computer.
It's stays in the "deleting" but I can't cancel it or close the window.
    What can I do?

Here are two screen shots to show you what I am seeing.  The first screen shot shows it allowing me to select (highlighted in blue) my admin user (which is what I am locced in as).  The second screen shot shows it allowing me to select the "Guest" user (highlighted in blue).  However when I click on the user "Orion" nothing happens.  It will not change to highlight that user.

  • 2012 R2 RBA: Remove / Delete buttons greyed out Administrative users account (sec role/scope) clean up

I am seeing something odd with one of my RBA settings.  Keep in mind I am seeing this as a 'Full Administrator'.
I created a new test Security scope, Security Role, created a test Active Directory group and then entered that AD group as a new account name under Security>Administrative users.  I added the new Security Role under the Security Roles tab of the
Account name (Administrative users) properties and also added the security scope that I created under the Security Scopes tab.  I was able to see all the settings I had created/exported in the RBA viewer and everything with the role worked as desired.
I am now looking to clean that up but I don't seem to be able to.  I am starting under Administrative Users>Account name and trying to unlink the Security Roles and Security Scopes that listed in those tabs.  However, remove and deletes on this
stuff are all greyed out.  If I add another role to the Security Role tab I can then remove that, but I cannot remove this 1 particular one.  The result is that I cannot remove the custom Security Scope, Security Role and ultimately the Administrative
    user.
Does anyone have any idea why I can't remove the security roles and scopes from the Account Name?

I'm able to "delete" one admin user or group (account name) from Administrative users node (\Administration\Overview\Security\Accounts). I tried with custom security role/scope etc....even the same user was part of \Administration\Overview\Security\Accounts.
It seems something wrong with your FULL admin account ? Do you've any other FULL Admin account? If so, can you try with that account?

  • Impact of J2EE_ADMIN / Administrator user getting locked

    Hi,
What is the impact of J2EE_ADMIN / Administrator user getting locked in abap / java engines?  Will it effect startup of java server processes or java applications?  What are the other implications?
    Thanks,
    Abdul

    Hi Abdul,
if the J2EE_ADMIN or Administrator user is locked then
    1. you cannot login to Visual Admin unless you define some other user with same authorization.
    2. any Jco-RFC using this user won't work.
    3. if you don't have any other user, you will have to activate SAP* user to unlock this user.
    Thanks,

  • Unable to access my Administrator User Account with my CORRECT password.

The correct password for the Peter Thiess Administrator User account is bandicoot. All I get is the jiggle. I managed to change the password for the account by booting up with OS X Installer disk with the "C" key. Went to Utilities - reset password. Changed password in appropriate fields, added a hint and clicked Save. When I logged on again, the account accepted the new password with the note:
"you are unable to log in to the user account Peter Thiess at this time"...and THEN the screen jiggled.
Still no access to all my main stuff including my iTunes library that I built over the past 4 yrs.
Some weeks ago I opened my secondary acct. (Peter Alexander), which I created for house guests to play. Since I never use this account, I wanted to refresh my memory as to what I had on it. While I was here, I decided to delete "cache" and "cookies" from 2 libraries in the account. I also placed 2 or 3 folders that "seemed" empty (0Mb was in the bottom of the window of the files) in the trash. I don't remember where I plucked those folders from, from Peter Alexander acct. (If a folder is in the computer, even if it seems empty - there must have been a reason for it to be there.) Put them all in Trash and chose the Secure Delete Trash. The beachball started spinning...too long. Attempted to Stop Emptying Trash, so I could swith over to plain old Empty Trash and be done with it. Wasn't allowed to and the beachball kept spinning. This was taking too long, and I wanted to log into my main Peter Thiess Administrator account again. Attempted Restart - spinning ball. Attempted Shut Down, Log Out Peter Thiess, and Force Quit...more spinning bball. Finally I just held down the Power button. That turned it off.
Rebooted. Went back to the Peter Alexander account to finish emptying Trash. Trash finally emptied. Clicked Restart, got back to the opening window with both my accounts listed and clicked
Peter Thiess this time. Entered correct password and got "Peter Thiess does not have account privileges at this time" Tried several times, same result each time. Went to Help, then System Prefs, and finally Accounts, and discovered the Peter Thiess Administrator account was de-selected (gray instead of black lettering)?? Anyway, I tried several more times with my known, positively password-then tried some variations until the window "you tried passwords too many times, try again later".
Took the laptop to the MacSupportStore in Brooklyn, and due to a misunderstanding had the password to the Peter Alexander account, instead of the Peter Thiess account changed. When this mistake was pointed out, they investigated the correct account this time and told me the HD is dying, and that it would cost @ $400 for data rescue/retreval and a new HD. Not having any discretionary funds, I opted to get a Mercury external 500Gb HD instead. I want to rescue my data from my Peter Thiess Administrator account before the internal HD totally gives up the ghost. Suggestions? With deepest appreciation, Peter Thiess (alias - joblo22)

  • I want to transfer datas from administrative user account to guest user account

Hello everyone. I am Biswajit. I am in a real mess. 2 days ago while I was signing in myself to my main account I faced this error
"The User Profile Service service failed the logon.
    User Profile cannot be loaded"
After doing a bit research I came to know that I have to make another account to use my PC. I was in safe mode and unfortunately in
case of one account I made 4 accounts. I wanted to delete those accounts. But when I tried that while signing to one of my guest
account, it asked for my administrative account password. I was giving the right password but it was not receiving that. I have some
important document on my desktop of my administrative user account. What will I do for that. Please give some advice.
Or may b I can change my recent guest account to administrative account. I cant do that too.

    Hi,
The error here means you are using a temporary profile, and here is a KB talking about this error message:
You receive a "The User Profile Service failed the logon” error message
Also here is a similar thread for reference:
I receive error message: The user profile service failed the logon. User profile cannot be
    loaded
    Hope this may help

  • Mac user account locked out in Microsoft Active Directory

    Hi,
I have some users who get their user account locked out several times a day.
It seems to be an issue with the keychain.
Our users need to change their password every 90 days domain GPO applied on every users.
Do you know how to fix this issue?
I have notice that most of the time this happens when the Mac wakes up from sleep mode while still connected to the network and when the users try to re login.
    Thank you.

    Hi Nicky
I had a very similar problem a while back. It turned out that I had another device trying to retrieve mail from the corporate account. in my case it was an iPod that was just sitting on charge for weeks at a time but was accessing the Exchange server with the wrong password, after having changed it due to the same password policy you use. Of course after a set number of tries, the AD locked the account.
I always remember to change my iPhone password now

  • User accounts locking out.

I have recently upgraded to APEX 3.1.0.00.32 and have discovered that my users are now able to lock themselves out of my app.
I found settings both at the apex level as well as the workspace level to disable this feature, however the accounts are still locking out. Is there a setting somewhere else that I need to change?
    Thanks,
    Joel

    Kathryn,
The feature has no Disable/Enable control. It can be required of workspaces (toggled at the site level) with respect to the epiration/locking policy for end-user accounts, or not. If not required, individual workspaces can enable or disable the feature, again, with respect to end user account expiration and locking.
For developer/admin accounts, the feature is always "on". If you prefer a longer expiration period, say 24 years, set the Account Password Lifetime (days) value to 8766. If you want to allow a large number, say 1000, of invalid consecutive password attempts, set the Maximum Login Failures Allowed value to 1000.

  • User Account Locking

I know it is possible to set up Plumtree to lock a users account if they try to login with an invalid password and number of times. My question is is it possible to find out through the API how many times a user has left before the account is locked?
    Keith Drew

Can't explain, but there are several threads about similiar problems. Mostly there are problems with mail, but the main problem is that logged out users doesn't get disconnected from AFP.  Hope the fix comes soon.

  • Catch RFC Exception - User Account locked

    Hello,
I am hoping someone knows how in the portal to catch an exception thrown by JCo indicating a users account is locked in R/3.
I would like to trap the error and display a friendly error message to contact the correct people.  I do not want to see a Portal Runtime Error get presented to end users.
Here is what it looks like in the default trace:
Caused by: com.sap.mw.jco.JCO$Exception: (103) RFC_ERROR_LOGON_FAILURE: User is locked. Please notify the person responsible
    at com.sap.mw.jco.MiddlewareJRfc.generateJCoException(MiddlewareJRfc.java:418)
Any docs on catching R/3 Fault exceptions is great as well.
    Thank you,
    Sean

Usually when working with BAPIs, it is designed not to raise any exceptions.  They are designed to pass any errors back to the caller thru the BAPIRET2 parameter in the BAPI signature, using a TABLES parameter.  This is how you will let the user know gracefully.  If you are working with custom function modules which are to be called from the portal, they need to be developed in such a way that they do not RAISE and exceptions, but pass the errors back using a table like in the BAPIs.

  • ODM User account locking out daily

    Hello,
I have a user in my ODM that has his account locked out almost daily. I have the server set to disable after 5 invalid attempts. I can't seem to find in the logs where the attempts are coming from. He has even been away from his laptop for the entire day only to find his account locked. Is there anywhere in the logs I can find out more information about where they are originating?
    Thanks,
    JL

    Thanks,
It does initially look like his iPhone might be the culprit. We have his settings set perfectly and I am getting DIGEST-MD5 authentication succeeded in the ApplePasswordServer.Server log. I noticed before it failed, it was listing DIGEST-MD5 authentication failed, SASL error -13 (password incorrect). It seems I was relying too much on SA's log viewer so I went to the server and used console which shed more light on the issue.
I will let this ride for a day or two before closing out and awarding points.
    Thanks
    JL

  • User account locking frequently

    Hi all,
I have a application user account in my db. And this account is getting locked frequently.
I checked dba_audit_session for invalid login attempts but nothing was there. Other users invalid login attempts was there in dba_audit_session.
Is there anyway to trace this.
Please help me in resolving this issue.
    Thanks in advance.

PS. Check the value of the audit_trail parameter just to verify that audit is actually enabled. You can verify the connection attempts with:
    select * from dba_audit_trail where username = 'APPLN';Edited by: Enrique Orbegozo on Oct 16, 2008 9:05 AM

  • Domain User Account Locked - ActiveSync

For our ActiveSync users, when their domain account expires and requires a new password, if they forget to change their password on their iDevices, their account locks out.  Is there a way, outside of changing our parameters around user failed attempts, to not lock the accounts out if they are coming from ActiveSync/iDevices?  Or any other creative way?

it seems to me the user is logged on to some computer with an expired password. The computer attempts to connect to wifi and thus authenticate using the users expired credentials.
Ask the user to reboot all of the computers he uses. If the problem persists, check if the user has open sessions on other machines and check the configuration of the wireless network on the client.
