Why can't I find the privacy policy for Adobe Flash in English on the website? I don't read Arabic.

I'm installing Flash Player on my Windows 7 64-bit OS using IE 8 32-bit. The installation terminates and the log file contains the following. (Please note, this log file was in "C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash"). Flash player (32-bit) has been working, but just currently quit working. Advise please.

That's a good question. I may have installed FP 10.1 Beta in many of the attempts to resolve the issue. I've scanned my registry for any reference to Flash and removed anything that remotely resembles Flash Player (of course backing up Registry first). I've run uninstall_flash_player.exe, which doesn't appear to do anything. I've checked logs and there's no reference to Flash Player being installed.
When I go to the link provided ( http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/) I get the messageThe version of Adobe® Flash® Player ActiveX that you are trying to install is not the most current version. Please visit http://www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer to obtain the latest, most secure version. and when I look at the log (install.log) I see an attempt to install Flash Player. Hi, glad that worked for you. Also thanks for the explanation as how you came about this. Yes, from my understanding any Install of the CS5, even a trial version Installs the 10.1 (beta/prerelease) versions. It is not clear to me or others why the 10.1 was used in the CS5 instead of the latest version (10.0.45.2). My only guess is that the 10.1 is very close to being released as a shipping version (final release) to the public. The 10.1 had a target date of the first half of 2010. Perhaps that was the reasoning. This is just my opinion:-)
As I said, many users are having this problem, not just with the CS5, but they Install the 10.1 thinking that will solve whatever problem they may be having with the latest version.

You can't install flash player on your iPad, nor on your iPhone - it's not supported on iOS devices, and as Adobe have stopped development on all mobile versions of it, it probably never will be.
Browser apps such as Skyfire, iSwifter, Puffin and Photon 'work' on some sites. Also some websites have their own apps in the App Store.

In the new version of Adobe Flash Player 11.5.502.110 the images are not displayed. In previous versions they are displayed. Tested on several computers. This is not a local problem. This is a problem of Adobe. The bad news is that the early versions are very hard to find and reinstall it.
Many different systems tested. And all browsers.
Now there is no big image.

hi i have noticed the same problem. also with Chrome and FP ver 11.5.31.2and Firefox and Safari with FP 11.5.502.110
it seems that MovieClipLoader class not returning onLoadInit event. I use to add a fadein function on loadInit to fade in the loaded images. with the latest Flash PLayer versions this is not activated so you cannot see the loaded images.
I have tested this on 3 different systems and the problem is the same. I have not updated my FP for IE. There, the older FP still works well.

Getting error message can't retrieve essential parameter (1629.301.749), after Adobe Download Manager pop up for installation. I have uninstalled/reinstalled flash player numerous times. http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ notes I have the latest version installed, but I am unable to access full Adobe Flash Player functions on various sites such as Facebook, etc. I can't find anything in the Adobe KB. I'm back. The dwld worked for 2 days and now I'm back to the notification that I need to update my Flash Player. I used the link you previously provided http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/fp_distribution3.html to download the .exe again, but I'm getting the same message for both Mozilla & IE. As I previously stated, there is no file folder in the Registry for Flash Player under HK HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Adobe. Does anyone know the KEYS for Flash Player, that I could add manually?

You can check the version under Apple Menu > System Preferences > Flash Player. Did you quit and restart Safari after the install?

The Kindle uses a version of Android. You need to use the specific apps or Google Chrome. There is no dedicated Flash Player otherwise.

My Flash Player refuses to run automatically, can anyone help? I'm tired of clicking OK each time I need it as I browse. This only started 2 weeks ago. Before that there were no problems so, I'm embarrassed to say that I must have somehow caused this myself. So far, I've gone to my "plugins" page and made sure everything is set as "enabled". I've gone to my Control Panel >Flash Player, but I don't see any changes I could make their that might help. I'm not sure what else to do. I have Win XP Home, broswer is Google Chrome, Adobe flash player version 11.6.602.180 installed. I hope someone can help.
The only extension I have enabled is Ad Block.

I think I was just about to send you email about this. Can you try the following in Chrome:
1. Type "about:settings" in the address bar
2. Click the "Show advanced settings..." link at the bottom
3. Click the "Content settings..." button
4. Scroll down a bit in the dialog that appears and verify that "Run automatically (recommended)" is selected in the Plug-ins section

My flash player has not worked for 2 days, i can view some things on Youtube but with no sound so i tried to update my flash player and it doesn't supprt my mac os x version 10.5.8... anyone know what i can do next... It isn't the MacBook that's too old it's the Operating System. Mac OS 10.5 Leopard became obsolete in July of 2009, that's 4 years ago. Companies like Adobe, Google, Firefox, etc.. no longer support anything less than 10.6.
First we need to know which one of the 9 different models of MacBook you have. To see which model you have go to the Apple in the upper left corner and select About This Mac, then click on More Info (and then System Report if you’re running 10.7 Lion). When System Profiler comes up check the Model Identifier and post it back here.
The Early 2006 model 1,1 Core Duo can only run a maximum of 10.6 Snow Leopard.
The models Late 2006 Core 2 Duos 2,1 through Early 2008 4,1 can only run a maximum of 10.7 Lion.
The Late 2008 model 5,1 Aluminum Unibody through the Mid 2010 White Unibody model 7,1 can run 10.8 Mountain Lion.
