Hi Donna,
the plug-in you are referring to is, as you correctly state, an Adobe plug-in for Adobe's LiveCycle product family.
The ISR integration of Interactive Forms in SAP is based on Adobe components in Interactive Forms (Designer and ADS) that are 'related' to LiveCycle, but in essence a separate development for SAP. In addition, the ISR integration was built on top of the originally implemented integration on both the ABAP and Java side.
Within NetWeaver, there is no support for using Adobe plug-ins for forms development in .NET. This would be something that Adobe might be able to assist you with, but I assume that this would be a professional service by Adobe.
Kind regards,
Markus Meisl

We were using Adobe Livecycle designer 7.0 (circa 2004) for creating our own dynamic forms. The program has since failed to work, we cant locate the old disk. What is the new product replacement that will allow us to build new forms from scratch with our own fields and data collection?
LiveCycle Designer no longer comes with the Windows version of Acrobat Pro, but it can be purchased separately (soon): http://www.adobe.com/products/livecycle/tools/designer.html

I have a form named UD_TICKET3. This form contains information about the ticket number and a comment about any action taken on a resource of identity. We want to add this form as a child of all the resources forms. The problem occurs when I try to add the child form to the second form.You cannot add same detail table (child form) to more than one master table (resource form). -
Very big problem with JSF about FORM and "id=" for HTML form's elements and
I have discovered a very big problem with JSF about FORM and "id=" for HTML form's elements and java instruction "request.getParameterNames()".
Suppose you have something like this, to render some datas form a Java Beans :
<h:dataTable value="#{TablesDb2Bean.myDataDb2ListSelection}" var="current" border="2" width="50%" cellpadding="2" cellspacing="2" style="text-align: center">
<h:column>
<f:facet name="header">
<h:outputText value="Name"/>
</f:facet>
<h:outputText id="nameTableDb2" value="#{current.db2_name_table}"/>
</h:column>
</h:dataTable>
Everything works fine...
Suppose you want to get the name/value pairs for id="nameTableDb2" and #{current.db2_name_table} to process them in a servlet. Here is the HTML generated :
<td><span <span class="attribute-name">id=<span class="attribute-value">"j_id_jsp_1715189495_22:0:nameTableDb2">my-table-db2-xxxxx</span></td>
You think you can use the java instructions :
Enumeration NamesParam = request.getParameterNames();
while (NomsParam.hasMoreElements()) {
String NameParam = (String) NamesParam.nextElement();
out.println("<h4>"++NameParam+ "+</h4>);
YOU ARE WRONG : request.getParameterNames() wants the syntax *name="nameTableDb2" but JSF must use id="nameTableDb2" for "<h:outputText"... So, you can't process datas in a FORM generated with JSF in a Servlet ! Perhaps I have made an error, but really, I wonder which ?

Edited by: ungars on Jul 18, 2010 12:45 AMWhile I certainly appreciate ejb's helpful responses, this thread shows up a difference in perspective between how I read the forum and how others do. Author ejb is correct in advising you to stay inside JSF for form processing if form processing is what you want to do.
However, I detect another aspect to this post which reminds me of something Marc Andreesen once said when he was trying to get Netscape off the ground: "there's no such thing as bad HTML."
In this case, I interpret ungar's request as a new feature request. Can I phrase it like this?
"Wouldn't it be nice if I could render my nice form with JSF but, in certain cases, when I REALLY know what I'm doing" just post out to a separate servlet? I know that in this case I'll be missing out on all the nice validation, conversion, l10n, i18n, ajax, portlet and other features provided by JSF".
If this is the case, because it really misses the point of JSF, we don't allow it, but we do have an issue filed for it
https://javaserverfaces-spec-public.dev.java.net/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=127
If you can't wait for it to be fixed, you could decorate the FormRenderer to fix what you want.
I have an example in my JSF book that shows how to do this decoration. http://bit.ly/edburnsjsf2

Adobe Pro delete pages error. One or more pages are in use and could not be deleted.
Hi, can anyone assit. I am compiling a pdf by inserting several documents and am unable to delete specific pages. I have used this function on a previous Adobe Pro version but have a problem editing.I use this feature once a month to extract / delete some 200 pages from an 800 page file. I found the release notes for 10.1.4 stated that this issue was fixed. I updated my Acrobat to the 10.1.4 release and i was still having the problem. I finally fixed it by disabling the Win XP compatability feature that i had enabled in the properties of the Acrobat executable. I had enabled this feature a couple of months ago as a fix to this specific problem, now it's not necessary.
Environ: Win 7 32-bit and Acrobat X, 10.1.4. -
Importing form field layout from one form to another ?
I often create forms in both English and French. Many are long and complicated and I have to create them all individually. Is there any way I could use the form field layout from one form, for another form? That would be fantastic.
Sure. To replace the underlying page contents and retain any fields, document-level code, links, etc., select: Document > Replace Pages
you will likely have some tweaking to do to some field positions. -

says that your network setup is not correct. You need to resolve that first.
As for Broker setup steps how about the doc or our Data Guard 11g Handbook?
It's 3 DGMGRL commands so I am not sure what 'steps' you need?

Can anyone guide me to find the link to download it please?There's a link to it on this page:

But you need to be a member of the Adode Enterprise Developer Program to get it.

Adobe forms prints part of one page 6 times on a sheet of paper
I am attempting to print a completed web based Adobe form and the 8.5x11 page prints part of the page about 6 times on one sheet of paper. This has happened before on Adobe documents and I was able to get around it by saving the PDF file (downloaded from a home utility website) then opening it in Adobe Reader XI and printing it. This time I do not have the ability to save it since I filled out an Adobe form (the system will not let me save the completed form as a PDF file.) My system: iMac 27-inch Late 2009; OS: OS X 10.9.4; Adobe Reader: XI, version 11.0.07; Printer: Canon Pixma MP490 (verified I have the latest drivers)
Print preview shows the document the way I would expect it to print.
The last time I called we never resolved the issue: Apple points to the printer or Adobe, Adobe points to the computer or the printer, and Canon points to the computer or Adobe.When I first open the form on the web it appears to be an Adobe file, but still on the web via Safari.
Even before I try to save the file there is a message at the top of the screen that reads, "Please fill out the following form. You cannot save data typed into this form. Please print your completed form if you would like a copy for your records." BUT, when I just saved a blank copy of the form to my desktop, opened it in Adobe Reader XI, filled in the form and then printed it the form printed nicely. Problem resolved, or at least a work-around handles the problem easily
It is frustrating that I cannot print directly from the Adobe file via Safari; i.e., I have to experiment to find a solution instead of just hitting the print button (yes, I'm lazy!).
Thank you!! -

Allowing "Reader Users" to Save MULTIPLE Unique Sets of Forms Data for One Form
I own Acrobat Pro X. I use it to create many documents in my law practice. I need to deliver a contract form to a client that the client will use again and again and again... The client only owns Acrobat Reader. I need this to be like a "template" in Microsoft Word. The client needs to be able to fill-in the fillable fields on the document that I have created, then print and save it (e.g. as "Jones.pdf"), then fill it with new data and print and save it again (e.g. as "Smith.pdf"). This process may need to be repeated hundreds or thousands of times. Sometimes the client will need to reopen a document (data set) that was previously saved and printed and see it as it was last printed (so, to load "Jones.pdf" and see it as it was created). Sometimes the client will need to send a "filled" PDF to one of his customers, where the client's customer can print the document, but not change any of the fields (much less the body of the document, of course). So to sum up:
* Attorney creates contract with fillable fields in Acrobat Pro X and sends to client;
* Client uses PDF created by attorney to create, print and save an infinite number of unique 'data sets' for the document, any of which can be opened and printed at any time; and
* Client sends locked-down, un-changeable PDF to Client's customer for customer to print, but not change.
All of this needs to be able to happen without the Client ever buying Acrobat. Is this possible? I'm aware of File > Save As > Reader Extended PDF > Enable Additional Features, but I cannot figure out if this will work, since I don't use Reader on my pc.
Surely this scenario is faced by document creators often. However, I tried and failed to find a set of search terms which would reveal discussion threads that were relevant to this query.I apologize for being unclear. I'll try to clarify the facts.
1. I have written a custom subcontract agreement for one client. This is the only client that I will ever give this particularl document/subcontract. My client will *never* send the data or the document back to me. Once I turn over this document to my client, it is from my perspective, a one-time, one-way transaction.
2. My client
Will be the only person who will ever put data in the fields (using Acrobat Reader);
Will create hundreds or thousands of unique subcontracts using the document that I have created, but the only difference between each will be the data that my client has put in the fields;
Needs to be able save each unique set of data as a unique pdf (jones_1.pdf; smith_2.pdf; etc.);
Needs to be able to email the completed document to his customer in a way that his customer cannot modify the document, but can view it, print it, sign the paper printout and snail-mail it back.
3. My client's customer
Should be able to view and print, but be unable to change anything in the document;
Will not need to sign the document electronically (there will be no digital signatures)
Users of Microsoft Word are familiar with the concempt of templates. When you create a new document based on a template, the content and formatting can be changed in each new iteration made from the template, but the original template is not changed. I could give my client the subcontract as a Word template, but his staff could easily or accidentally change important language that I don't want them to be able to change. For the client's own protection, I want the client only to be able to change data in the fields that I've designated. This sort of scheme is impossible using a Word document or template. I hope it's possible with a PDF. -

Forms login error for first 2-3 time
Hello,
we have a strange issue , users from Europe region are getting Form connection error(FRM 92050) while they login for the first time of the day,self service page is coming fine then while opening any form it's giving error. after they close the session and try for another 2/3 times they are able to open the forms.
Jinitiator console is not showing any error.
Also FRD trace is not getting generated for the above case of issue.
we have shared appltop architecture with 4 apps tier loadbalanced. if setting 'ICX Forms Launcher' to direct hostname instead of loadbalancer url issue is not coming.but it doesn't prove load balancer has issue as self service pages are coming properly through LB
Any idea how to trouleshoot?
Thanks,
RishiHi,
Please see (Note: 420021.1 - FRM-92050: FAILED TO CONNECT TO THE SERVER /FORMS/FORMSERVLET:-1 WHEN USING LOAD BALANCE) and (Note: 601694.1 - How To Check Session Persistence On BigIP F5 And Cisco Ace Load Balancer Appliances).
