Adobe Muse, Windows .muse e MAC OS execute .muse for Windows?

Dear Friends
I doubt I have several projects done on my old Windows 8 operating system and Windows 10 with Adobe Muse, saved projects in .muse and now wonder if there is possibility to use this design on a Mac OS system if there is any difference and what procedure to take or is only run the muse file on MAC OS without problems know I am not in doubt?

The .muse file will work with windows and mac both. So if you design site in Windows and open this .muse file in Mac,or vice-versa, it will work without any issue.

Windows Firewall has blocked Adobe Muse

I open Adobe Muse for the first time and I'm trying to use it, after going thru some updates and questions I get Windows Firewall has blocked some features of this program. Does Adobe Muse need to have an Internet or network connection for anything at all before I publish? the Publisher is Unknown according to the alert I get from Windows. Do I need to check the box for Private networks or Public networks, I couldn't find anything related to it on Adobe Help and when I searched for Firewall on Adobe Muse Help I get results for other applications instead that I don't use like Flash Media Encoder.

Yes, you would need to tick both the checkboxes and click Allow Access after that.

Error #3003: File or directory does not exist - Adobe Muse - Windows 7 - 64bit

Does anyone knows why this occurred? I had used adobe muse for quite some time now for my personal portfolio but this is the first
time I got this prompt. I can save the Muse file but I cannot preview in muse nor in a browser also I cannot export the HTML

If you look at the end of the MuseLog.txt file (in your "My Documents" folder), does it mention this error? If so, does it indicate the path of the file or folder that's not found? Knowing that would help diagnose the cause. My first guess would be that the permissions on your preferences folder location have been incorrectly altered such that Muse can no longer write the preview files there.

Can I install Adobe Muse 2014 on Windows 7 32-bit?

Hello I bought Adobe Muse the old version 7 before. Now, I'm planning to buy the new one 2014 but it says in the System requirements...
Note: 32-bit systems are no longer supported as of June 2014.
This is very hard for me because...
If I upgrade my OS to 64-bit that means, I would probably encounter A LOT of problems in my drivers and softwares.
Plus, I don't have time to reinstall every program and settings I've had for the past 3 years. Finally, this is my work PC.

i'm interested in buying Adobe Muse for my Mac. I was using a previous trial version but now i want to buy it and the only option is with Adobe CC.
First of all the cloud service is something i don't need and it's 20€/m for unlimited time so basically i don't know how much will it cost.
Is there a way to have just the Adobe Muse software without the subscription?

Adobe Muse - Pinned Navigation Acting weird

Aloha,
For some reason certain system setup's browsers scroll sideways when going down to a 'pinned' navigation anchor. I have no idea why this is happening. I have used the same setup and code for adobe muse for nearly 3 years now no problem

I can't really say its the browser, I've tested it on several machines. Some machines it does it some machines no. And yes I have updated the browsers on it.

Muse scrolls to attempt to put the anchor in the top left corner of the browser window.
If the page content is widget than the browser window width, scrolling to the anchor may involve both vertical and horizontal scrolling.
The best way to minimize any horizontal scrolling is to put all anchors at the same "x:" position and have a relatively narrow maximum width for all the content on your page (i.e. 1280, 960, etc.). It appears you've artificially turned off the horizontal scroll bar and tried adding some other custom styling, but the content of the page is still very wide (~1700px). I recommend checking of any objects that are far off the page on the right. If the content is limited down to the width of the page, you want get any horizontal scrolling and you should remove the custom code that way interfere with the normal operation of the page.

Maintain an Adobe Muse site for a client once Muse subscription expires?

Hi there, I'd really appreciate some advice here. I have created a site in adobe muse for a client that is shortly to be pushed live. I also have a subscription to Adobe Muse (monthly), which will need to terminate shortly. How can I ensure that the site made under my account/subscription stays live when my subscription expires? It is my understanding that my client can pay a third party hoster (or adobe business catalyst) to host the site - is this the case?

Hello Matt,
It is not mandatory to keep Muse subscription active after the site has been pushed live (this is in case of paid sites). Even if you discontinue the Muse subscription/membership, the paid site will still be very much active. It is also true that the client can use a third party hosting service or Business Catalyst to host the site. If you want them to publish from their own account with Business Catalyst, then send the .muse file to them and let them install the trial version of Muse (if they would just be publishing this site only this one time) or subscribe to Muse paid subscription (if they are going to keep making changes to the site time and again), and have them publish the site from their account.
They can also upload the site to the host from their end, or this is something that you can do for them as well, as it doesn't have the concept of account creation then.

Problem using Gotham font in Adobe Muse

I am working on a web design project using Adobe Muse for my client who uses predominantly Gotham. They own most of the Gotham font family in .otf and they also have the Gotham SSm (Screen Smart Font) for web use. When trying to load the font to Adobe Muse as a self-hosted web font, Muse cannot load it because the following web fonts formats are missing: .woff, .eot and .svg. Muse also requires that the .ttf font is installed as as a system font. My client only has .otf font. Does this mean that we cannot use Gotham in Muse? Or is there a way around this?

As described in Adobe Muse Help | Typography, Muse can work with .otf fonts as system fonts. .woff/.eot fonts are, however, required for self-hosting.
Also. if your client has access to Gotham Screen Smart web fonts via a Cloud.Typography subscription, note that the Cloud.Typography terms of service do not allow you to serve web fonts in a self-hosted manner. They are are required to be served using their delivery agent via the CSS key mechanism. Cloud.typography Terms of Service | Hoefler & Co.

Issue with Adobe Muse parallax jitters with mouse wheel scrolling vertically.

Hi all,
I'm learning Adobe Muse for the first time to put together a wedding website (http://mattandsangeeta.businesscatalyst.com/index.html), so bear with me as I'm a novice at the software - though I do have the most up version, Adobe Muse CC 2014.
So far, it's been an excellent platform, and for the most part the site functions incredibly well. However, one key flaw I've noticed in it is the parallax scrolling speed when using a mouse.
The parallax portion of the site jitters badly, and while we've found a few improvements for the issue (the best was making sure there was nothing that had scrolling set to "0"), I'm still at a loss for how to get smooth scrolling transition speeds. Every forum Adobe has seems to be showcasing the features, and not troubleshooting this particular issue. A lot of posts are similar, but none seem to be resolved. I've noticed that other parallax pages are smoother with the mouse wheel scrolling down, so I'm hoping it's just an issue with Muse that has a setting or snippet of code that can remedy the issue.
What makes me realize it's the mouse wheel scrolling, and not the site itself, is because whenever I access the site on my surface pro tablet, the parallax runs buttery smooth with touch control or even trackpad control. Same when you click the middle scroll button and pan down. Without any mouse wheel scrolling, it looks great! But with a mouse wheel, it hiccups constantly and ruins the effect.
So, is there any way to smooth out the steps that the mouse wheel scrolling seems to be causing?

Thanks for the link, however that specific thread was one of the ones I referenced in my original post.
In the beginning of the thread, it's clear that coding can fix the issue, though it's not recommended. More telling is that the response you referenced indicates that the issue is claimed to have been either fixed or mitigated In updated releases of Muse.
As you pointed out earlier, however, Firefox displays the parallax a little better than Chrome, and much better than Internet Explorer. I'm assuming that Adobe Muse Creative Cloud 2014 release attempted to this issue.
So my question kind of remains: am I missing a setting that would make the scrolling more smooth, or is it simply just a limitation of the browser / software / parallax combination?

Working with Adobe Muse and BC?

I have been working with Adobe muse for a little bit now and I am wanting to take my website to the next level. I am specifically looking at the webCommerce Business Catalyst package. I just want to know how hard it is to embed things like an interactive calendar, a login section for members, an eCommerce shop, etc. Do you need to be a wiz at coding or can you get by using just the absolute basics? I want to be able to design the buttons myself and lay the things out in muse, is this possible or do you need to do everything by code?

So I've worked out how to get a secure zone (login page) within my Adobe Muse site.
I now want to know if its possible for me to integrate separate CRM system into each of the individuals/users secure zone.
My company uses a CRM system (not BC) which allows me to produce HTML forms which are custom to our sales advisors, so a sales advisor can fill in a form and then we get an alert to follow up this lead which they have given us. I want to embed each of these custom HTLM forms into each different users secure zone. I hope this makes sense?
So if someone has a secure zone/login page for my website can I personalise what they see on that page e.g. so each different user will see a different thing?
