Adobe Presenter not intergrated into Powerpoint

We've just purchased and installed a copy of Adobe Pro Extended 9 which includes Adobe Presenter. However, when I open Powerpoint there is no sign of Presenter integration.
Running Acrobat Pro Extended 9 on Win32, Powerpoint 2003.
Thanks.

I've installed presenter from the Acrobat DVD, I see in my Vista Business x64 start menu under Adobe "Adobe Presenter". In PowerPoint 2007 I went to Disabled and Presenter was listed, I selected it and enabled it (now when I go back to disable nothing is listed - this is good), I went to Add-ins, Presenter is NOT listed, I selected COM Add-ins and clicked GO, presenter is NOT listed (a bunch of stuff is listed but not Presenter). If I click on the Add button a window opens for "C:\Users\jgt\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\AddIns", nothing is listed in this folder. If I browse to the C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Presenter 7 folder I don't know what I should be looking for.
I've installed patch 701, 702, but 705 will not install I get a "Microsoft Visual C + + Runtime Library" error "This application has requested the Runtime to terminate in an unusual way." and it points to the folder where I have the 705 update stored. I copied the update file to the C root level, it still fails but does not give me the "Microsoft Visual C" window.

• Adobe Premier Elements 9 into PowerPoint

how do I embed a video file from Adobe Premier Elements 9 into PowerPoint so both video and sound play?

WarrenR
These are some results that I just generated.
I had a 1920 x 1080 @ 29.97 progressive frames per second (AVCHD.mov with AAC 2 channel audio)
and imported that into Premiere Elements 9.0/9.0.1 with the project preset = NTSC DSLR 1080p DSLR 1080p30 @ 29.97.
I obtained playback (video and audio) in Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 for the export of that Timeline, using
Share
Computer
Windows Media
with Presets = Cable Modem, DSR
and with Advanced Button/Video Tab settings looking like
The Average Video Bitrate is not showing in the screenshot. But, for the first run, leave it at 448 Kbps (kilobits per second). When you enter your frame size, you may have to click on the chain link between frame width and height to be able to type 1920 x 1080.
Here you will be using Windows Media Video 9 as the video codec.
Under the Advance Button/Audio Tab, set the audio codec to
Windows Media Audio 10
The audio format will probably be
32 kbps 32 kHz 2 channel 16 bit CBR
As for an .avi version...
Share/Computer/AVI with Presets = DV NTSC Widescreen works but the resolution of the video is going to be 720 x 480 and not 1920 x 1080.
Please give the above a try and see if that works for you.
Recap...my Windows 7 64 bit computer has
QuickTime (latest version) 32 bit version
Windows Media Player Version 12 32 bit
Microsoft PowerPoint 10 64 bit
Looking forward to your results.

• How can make the latest Adobe Presenter trial stop causing Powerpoint crash?

I have downloaded the latest trial of Adobe Presenter, in the "About Presenter" feature it shows it to be Version 7.0.7
I am using Powerpoint 2007 on a Windows XP laptop.
The trial downloaded well, it records voice well, it syncs well with animation, and it appears ok on the PowerPoint Add in bar. I managed to create some 2-3 test recordings on a PowerPoint presentation I already have, that needs turning into a Presentation. That was all. Since then Powerpoint hasn't stopped crashing. Getting back to it functions well, the problem appears whenever I finish recording. Regardless of whether I press the stop or pause button. Earlier on it happened when then pressing ok, and only after "stop" button. Now it does it every single time, and of course, it's crashing before it can save any audio files.(I haven't even tried publishing, simply because I have nothing to publish because of these crashes!)
I have browsed solutions online but they all seemed dated: like I said this is the latest version (what it seems 7.0.7) and even if I tried to download patches it doesn't accept them. Looking for updates from the add-in bar from Powerpoint only results in "no updates available for this version".
Please help! This seems to be exactly what I was looking for but obviously not if it doesn't work!
Thanks,
Gabriel

Hi Shubhi,
I'm sorry I can't do that. I don't have 7.0.7 anymore, it would be stupid to keep a piece of software that it's not working. I can't have both versions at the same time and I need to do my work, so working fine with 7.0.6.
Besides, I have already provided all the steps I followed, and the problem was indeed the same for new or old presentations, working from a Windows XP laptop and PowerPoint 2007 (with presentations saved in either 2003 or 2007 powerpoint versions).
I hope I could help in any way, but I can't spend more of my work/own time in uninstalling/installing versions, or for free!
Regards,
Gabriel

• Using Adobe Presenter to record a Powerpoint presentation LIVE

Hi,
I am struggling with Adobe Presenter (8).
Basically, I would like to record a Powerpoint presentation LIVE but I could not work out how to do it.
It seems to me that the Adobe Presenter tab which appears in Powerpoint is there if you want to record your presentation offline but not in front of an audience.
I would like to deliver my presentation to an audience and record it at the same time
I could use Adobe Presenter Video Creator but that won't create a table of contents with my slides titles.
Any solutions?
Denis

Presenter has never been desiged to record a live presentation. However, you could use any audio recording software (Audacity is free) to record yourself lecturing through the slides, and then import the audio from your lection into Presenter and distribute it appropriately across the slides and sync it with the animtaions.
Otherwise I would use something like a Connect Meeting or Camtasia to record the live lecture with the presentation.

• Adobe Presenter 8 keeps crashing Powerpoint

Hello,
I've been using Adobe presenter 8 for over a year on my computer with Windows 7 and Office 2010. My powerpoint instantly crashes any time i click on any of the buttons on adobe presenter (audio edit, manage quiz, publish, slide manager, etc...). I've tried several fixes mentioned earlier (removing temporary files). Also, when I start a new powerpoint it keeps asking me to disable adobe presenter add-in.
Any solutions besides re-installing adobe presenter 8?
Thanks,

I experienced the same problem starting on May 12, 2014 just like you. I spent the day uninstalling and reinstalling but the problem never went away, anytime I try any of the Presenter add-in features it would crash. At he end of the day, I tried it on another computer that has the add-in and the same thing happened. So I do not think it is just my computer. I wonder if there was a windows update that is causing the conflict. I am unable to restore my computer to a previous date to see if that helps or not, but if it is a Window issue, we surely are not the only ones having this problem.
I am running Office 2007 on Windows 2007 Professional and have Presenter 8.1 installed.

• Firefox 14 tool bar is not intergrated into msn homepage

HI. Just installed Firefox 14.0.1 on Windows 7 64bit. I am using the msn homepage, as I did with earlier versions of FF - but on Windows XP. My problem is that the FF tool bar doesn't seem to be intergrated into the homepage. It is just sitting there (not attached to anything) in the left upper portion of the homepage - and is so tiny and transparent I can hardly see it. This makes it difficult to navigate, and looks very unprofessional. Is there any way to fix this? Customization hasn't solved the problem.
Thank you.

Firefox toolbars don't get "integrated" into webpages. Toolbars are part of the user interface, not the content section of Firefox.
Please provide a screenshot of that issue.
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-do-i-create-screenshot-my-problem
It is best to use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot and make sure that you do not exceed a maximum file size of 1 MB.
Then use the '''Browse ....''' button below the '''''Post a Reply''''' text box to upload the screenshot.

• Presenter not loading into Power point - help

I need help
Been using Presenter in Power Point. it froze yesterday. Had to shut down. When re-opening computer and PP, Presenter was no longer there.
Have uninstalled Acrobat 9 extended, Presenter , and MS Enterprise (with PP). all new downloads. Re-installed. Everything acts like it installed fine, but NO Presenter inside the Power Point. Have repeated and re-peated. disabled McAfee. repeated. No luck. I'm running on a pretty new HP with windows 7.
Spent hours in chat with university helpers and hours with Adobe helpers - totally useless.
Any ideas out there?
Thanks

• Can I upload PowerPoint directly into Connect without using Adobe Presenter?

I have a PowerPoint file (.ppt as well as .pptx) and the slides are fairly simple - mostly bullet point lists in Arial or Calibri font (nothing wild and crazy). When I upload the content directly into the Connect envrionment, the formatting of the slides (in the share pod) is all wacky. Instead of it sizing the slides to fit the share pod, the bullet points go down past the bottom of the pod and cannot be read.
I was told that the only solution to this is to purchase Adobe Presenter and publish my PowerPoint files (using Presenter) into Adobe Connect. That is not an option for me at my company. It seems like uploading a simple PowerPoint should be a basic feature of Connect without having to download/purchase Presenter licenses. Maybe I'm wrong. Below are a few images in case this is not making sense. If anyone has advice, PLEASE let me know. I cannot possibly using connect for virutal training if slides look the way they do below. Thanks!
The first image is the PowerPoint slide
Here is what it looks like in the Share Pod:

Thanks Robert,
I tried to ask Adobe for a short list of supported / unsupported fonts but the tech kept telling me he could not give me that information. I thought I tried Arial to no avail but I can do so again. Just reformatted everything in Garamond and it worked fine.
Thank you again.

• Adobe Presenter tab does not appear in PowerPoint 2013

Hello,
I have a user who is using a laptop running Windows 7 (64-bit) and Office 2013 (64-bit). I installed Adobe Presenter (64-bit) for him, and it worked well until this week, when the Adobe Presenter tab disappeared.
When I go into the Add-Ins, I see it in the COM Add-Ins. I have removed it, and tried to re-add it, but it told me that the MenuLauncher.dll was not a valid Office add-in. I re installed Presenter, but that did not help.
When I log in to that computer, the Adobe Presenter tabs appears in PowerPoint for both of my profiles (admin, and regular domain user) but not for his profile. Can you tell me what I can do to fix it for this user?
Thanks,
Jen

Please create a new user profile for the user which has the complete admin rights and then try to use the Presenter.
If it still doesn't work then you need to remove it completely from the machine and then reinstall it. You may follow the instructions mentioned below for clean installation.
Remove the Adobe Presenter and its components from the control panel.
Delete the left over files and folders manually. You may check the following locations for left over files and folders.
C:\Program Files\Adobe*
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe*
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Macrovision Shared
C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe*
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe*
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Macrovision Shared
C:\ProgramData\Adobe*
C:\ProgramData\FLEXnet
C:\Users\<user_name>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe*
C:\Users\<user_name>\AppData\Roaming\com.adobe.*
C:\Users\<user_name>\AppData\Local\Adobe*
C:\Users\<user_name>\AppData\LocalLow\Adobe*
C:\Users\<user_name>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe*
Then Create a new user account which has the local admin rights and login to that new user account in Windows.
Disable the anti-virus or any firewall security if running.
Delete the following windows registry as mentioned below. Before deleting registry please take a backup of all Windows registry.
Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK.
In Registry Editor, right-click HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Adobe Presenter, and then delete the complete Presenter folder..
Disclaimer: The registry contains system-related information that is critical to your computer and applications. Before modifying the registry, be sure to make a backup copy of it. Adobe doesn't provide support for problems that can arise from improperly modifying the registry.

• Adobe Presenter CRASHES and won´t open anymore

I am already with Adobe Presenter 8.1 (64 bits) and with Office 2013. Whenever I start recording a powerpoint presentation, with myself in the webcam (Logitech c-920), something happens that avoids me to record with my webcam again. After the crash, if I open Adobe Presenter (not through Powerpoint - but through the desktop shortcut), nothing happens...my webcam does not start and Adobe presenter simply does not open. I ran as administrator...nothing. Even through powerpoint, adobe presenter won´t record anymore. The only way to solve this is UNINSTALLING adobe presenter and installing it again. Then I can use it once more till the next crash. There is something wrong and I just can´t figure out what it is. Help!

The problem in detail:
- Open Powerpoint 2013 presentation
- Open Adobe Presenter through Powerpoint
- record
- publish
- ok...
Closes. Next time, it won´t open anymore...
If I only open Adobe presenter (before the crash) and open preferences (to choose webcam, microphone, etc.) it will crash in the very moment I close the preferences window.
My office 2013 is 32 bits. Is there an Adobe Presenter 8.1 32bits? Would that be the problem?
